I've been working at Amazon's new SMF1 Fulfillment Center in Sacramento for a month now.

Job has it's challenges and there are days where I want to stay home, but I still come in everyday and try my hardest to improve myself while working there.

I'm seasonal sadly due to reasons, but I recently applied for the permanent conversion upgrade 2 weeks ago, I should be hearing back from Staffing sometime in January hopefully.

I finally got my first computer built last weekend, hooray :D! Just waiting on a friend to help me install an wi-fi adapter this upcoming weekend.

I'm so happy that I can finally stop sharing my mom's computer and have my own private space, it's about time and very long overdue :).

Today's my birthday, I'm officially 27 years old now, woo-hoo :)!

My mom has sumthin secret planned for later today, then this weekend I'll be having a RL friends only b-day party on Saturday and on Sunday I'll be watching a movie with my mom at the theater.

I just wish I was turning 8 years old like my OC is, but oh well I can't turn back time or age, yet anyways.

What are all of my watchers' resolutions for the New Year?

I plan to attempt the following myself :).

Normal:
1.) Get a Driver's License at least, if not also a car too.
2.) Drop/Lose 35 lbs and stay at that weight.
3.) Get a 2nd Additional job or a better job.

AB/Little:
1.) Meet another Little or AB in real life.
2.) Buy, wear, and use all of the really good adult diapers, including AB exclusives.
3.) Commission someone to draw my OC and all of his friends.

I'm not expecting any of my watchers/friends on FA to get me anything, just posting my Christmas wish list in case someone on FA does want to.

I apologize for vanishing off the radar socially wise on here. My first job at Burger King has been keeping me busy, been working there for 11 weeks now.

I've also finally started commissioning artists on dA (and eventually FA too), though I can't spend too much money all at once.

My mom's been having me put half of each paycheck into my savings account, with the other half being all I can use for "fun" until the next payday.

(I get paid every two weeks/every other week)

I went down to PRIDE's office yesterday and took both a background check and a drug test.

Next step is for me to participate in PRIDE's onboarding program, that should be happening sometime next week I think.

Assuming I'm not forgetting anything else, I should start working at Burger King during first week of April.

(PRIDE is an employment agency that helps people with disabilities find work)

I was just wondering if it would be worth it for me to pay extra for a 7200 RPM HDD, or am I better off just grabbing a 5400 RPM HDD?

Update: PRIDE deemed me "too high functioning" to help me further with job placement directly themselves.

All they're doing now is assigning a "job developer/coach" to me. He'll help me write up resumes/fill in applications and turn them in, but that's it. He won't have any connections to get me a job himself or whatever.
