Personally, I think Weasyl is far and away the best of the alternative furry sites. It has the nicest layout, is fairly easy to use, has open/receptive staff and a very reliable up-time. I just got on Furry Network on Friday (after sitting on a beta key for half a year, heh) and it's.... ehh... okay, but still clearly a beta site and lacking features like journals. They're going to be adding that, but for now that's a really glaringly obvious problem. SoFurry and Inkbunny I only maintain an account on for the occasional time I need it to view something. I don't like either of the sites at all. No point on watching me at either of those locations.
The Paw Post:
I echo the Paw-Post in several places each week. Currently, I post it to FA, Deviant Art, Furry Network (via a note on my page because of the lack of journals), Weasyl, and it also goes out via an E-mail list for those who prefer e-mail. If you want to be sure not to miss a Paw-Post, please watch/follow me on one of those sites or let me know your e-mail so I can add it to the list. :)

AussiexS needs help raising the partial funds for a surgery to relieve a type of major chronic pain. Aussie is Vallhund's mate, and the window of opportunity is quickly running out before they have to restart the insurance process which can take months. As someone who lives with a mate suffering from pain-related problems, I can tell you there is nothing good about constant pain. It can dominate and consume your life, and it's terrible to think that anyone would have to live a single day more of it than they have to if surgery can fix the problem. Vallhund and friends are doing all the they can to help give people extra incentives to donate, or at least to spread the word.
So please consider donating, or in lieu of a donation, spread the world as much as you can in any place in and out of the fandom that people might read it. That they were able to raise 1/3 of the funds so quickly is incredibly encouraging! We can all chip in and help them to make this possible. :)

The Paw-Post! -- MAR-25-2016 - Char. Highlight: SashaShark
General | Posted 9 years ago*growf!*Happy Friday All! And... for many (I hope) a holiday Friday at that! Yep... I have the rare treat of working on this at home while the sun is actually up. Wow. So first thing you'll notice is the new title format. With the Paw-Post down to once a week, I wanted to do something that was a bit more useful as a title, plus also a heck of a lot easier to look back at past journals and see who he highlight was. If I get some time, I might go back and retro-actively change the past ones to this format. :)
Please Read (need your input): Now, I was also considering another thing - a fixed-format version of the post. Right now the Paw-Post goes out in three forms - E-Mail, FA Journal and Weasyl Journal. Each one has its own formatting system, which means I basically have to make the Paw-Post three times, and all three of them look different. E-mail is the most "easy" to read and aesthetically pleasing of the formats since it can use HTML and/or Rich Text for formatting. But it's the splitting of it into three different versions that really makes it a mess to edit and post. One way around that is a unified format for the post - say, creating a PDF file and linking to it via e-mail, FA and Weasyl. The PDF could be stored in a 3rd party service like DropBox. That way, if I have to make changes, I just have to edit one file, and the formatting would be universal (and much nicer for most overall). It would also mean folks could download them if they wanted to read the highlights at a later time on their phones, tablets, laptops or whatever. Comments could still be made here and on Weasyl, of course. And with it being easier to post and link to, I could potentially also start posting it elsewhere like Deviant Art, SoFurry, Inkbunny or whatever. So what are your thoughts on that guys?

Argh... I don't know how I forgot to link my own character in last week, but I did - this was an amazing flat coloured sketch from Iggi of my herp-guy Zrell. Character Summary/History:
Sasha and her older half sisters are daughters of an Old One (like from H.P. Lovecraft stories) When she was born she was genetically modified to be used as a living weapon for the cult of Dagon. The cult showed her no love, seeing her only as a weapon and her own sisters mistreated and abused her for being the runt of the litter and for having "human emotions" like compassion and love. Finally having enough, Sasha ran away from her under sea home to live on the surface world. She now is living her dream of being a hero instead of a monster. She became a freelance mercenary/monster hunter, not joining any groups that would force her to comply to their rules. Despite her dark past Sasha is kind, funny, and a bit cocky. She is a tough tomboy goth chic who is very competitive and adventurous. Her worst habit is swearing too much. She is use to being in dangerous situations (fighting monsters and dungeon crawling) but as soon as she is in a romantic situation, she trips all over herself and becomes flustered easily. She has a paw and tickle fetish that she will hide unless she knows the other person is cool with that. Sasha is very ticklish and loves to be tickled.

(TC) Hi Sasha! Thanks for joining us on the Paw-Post! Please don't eat me. <_< Maybe that's the first and most important question - are we all in any danger of getting chomped around you?
(SashaShark) Hi, my pleasure^^ No you are all safe. Well unless you piss Sasha off. Just be nice to her and she'll be nice back. She could be your best friend or worst nightmare.
(TC) Now I must say - Sasha is pretty neat looking lady! Not exactly often you see a pretty shark lady with bi-coloured hair and a great sense of fashion. What inspired her look?
(SashaShark) Starting at a young age I became fascinated with sea life, especially sharks. I have always been a fan of horror / sci-fi and my favorite author is H.P. Lovecraft. I wanted to make a character that represents me, my love for sharks, and the mythos. I chose the gothic outfit because of her dark past and tough attitude. The blue hair was inspired by all the industrial music I listen to.
(TC) Oh? Bit off topic, but care to share any of your favourite bands with us? I like Nine Inch Nails myself - though I imagine they're considered classic Industrial now. XD
(SashaShark) Oh, too many to list them all but here's a few: Hocico, Suicide Commando, God Module, Feindflug, Terminal Choice, Studio X, XR-X, Snarph!, Combichrist, Eisenfunk, Velvet Acid Christ, Chainreactor. And yeah, I'm a Nine Inch Nails fan too^^ They might not be considered industrial but my favorite band is Blutengel.
(TC) Now I'm gonna cut right to a few footpaw-related questions here (you know, being the Paw-Post and all). Sasha shows off those gorgeous feet of hers quite a bit in the images we see of her. So I guess first obvious question - do you/her have an attraction to/for footpaws - and if so, can you describe the things you like?
(SashaShark) Yes I am attracted to footpaws. It's the aesthetics of them I like the most. Also the sensual side of them. Quoting Sera from a previous Paw-Post "Almost everyone loves how a foot massage feels, sometimes even a bit more to the point where its sexual" This is true for me and also one reason I like being tickled/tickling others. I tend to go for female feetpaws more then males because in my mind the females feet are softer, more sensitive, and better kept. But there are a few male exceptions.
(TC) Aye - there are some nice male ones out there (I'd like to be biased and point out my own fursona's there, heh). But understandable overall. Can you explain what it is that you like most about feet - shape, texture, scent, colour... whatever it might be? And does Sasha share your views or have different ones when it comes to what she likes?
(SashaShark) Shape and texture for sure.^^ I'm not that much into scent and color doesn't mater to me. As far as Sasha, she likes what I like for the most part. I think she would be quicker to play with either gender's paws than I would be irl. hehe.
(TC) Does Sasha like her own footpaws in particular, or is more about how others like them?
(SashaShark) Sasha loves her feet and all the attention she gets from showing them off. She can be quite a tease.
(TC) About types of feet and paws - is there a particular kind that you like more so than another - can you explain why?
(SashaShark) All types are sexy to me. If I had to chose, my fav would be C3. Aesthetically they are the cutest to me <3
(TC) Now looking through your folders and pictures, there are a lot of tickling pictures - is that something you like, or more like a cruel twist of fate that keeps happening to Sasha? :P
(SashaShark) Haha well kinda both. Sasha loves to get tickled (it turns her on) and will sometimes put herself in situations where tickling will be the outcome but the problem is that she is so ticklish that things can quickly get out of hand and become tickle torture!
(TC) Haha... awww. So what makes the difference for her - one turns her on, one doesn't? Or is it more that in the latter she loses control?
(SashaShark) I think it would be more along the lines of her losing control. She is still turned on even when its tickle torture but sometimes her tickler shows no mercy and tickles her tell she passes out.
(TC) Sasha has one very awesome sense of style, and I like how that often highlights the footpaws either in an array of amazing boots, or just how the outfit makes the fact that she is bare-pawed stand out so much more. Do you like fashion and purposely try to choose stuff drawing attention to her feet?
(SashaShark) I do like fashion to a certain degree. I am into the gothic and industrial stile of clothing. I hadn't really thought about that before but I suppose I have been doing that subconsciously now that I think about it. Sasha's boots are very interesting to look at with all their belts and straps. And when they're off, the outfit seems to draw your eyes slowly down to her feet. One thing I did do on purpose was to make Sasha's skin very light gray and white so the black of her outfit would stand out even more in contrast. Also the soles of her feet are white, I did do that to draw attention to them. :3
(TC) And... perhaps a bit more of a follow question to the last - does Sasha enjoy footwear that protects her feet (IE, keeps them soft, clean and healthy, etc.)?
(SashaShark) Oh yes definitely. Because of Sasha's regeneration power her feet are always soft and smooth. She can't get scars, calluses, or even rough skin so she needs good protective footwear to walk around outside on her long adventures. Imagine how much it would suck to walk over miles of sharp gravel. Living most your life as a sea creature then suddenly switching to walking on the land can be hard on the feet.
(TC) Okay... we'll break away from some paw stuff. How about hobbies - what does Sasha enjoy doing with her free time?
(SashaShark) In her free time Sasha likes to spend as much time as she can with her boyfriend Marcus. Both love video games, loud music, lots of food, and just doing crazy things together. She likes to remain active and is almost always on the move. Maybe she'll go back and explore a part of a dungeon or cave that she didn't get to see all of while on one of her missions. She also likes spending time at the beach. Swimming, relaxing, and feeling the sand between her webbed toes.
(TC) Do she have a career? (I can't help but picture how terrifyingly awesome your grin would be in a customer-service role, lol)
(SashaShark) Sasha works as a freelance mercenary and monster hunter. She is frequently hired for missions that deal with the supernatural or cases that are just to strange or difficult for anyone else. Hehe Yeah, that would be pretty funny although getting a more civilized job for her would result in her getting fired within the first few days of working it. XD She has authority issues and not to mention her constant swearing problem. lol
(TC) There are a few pictures of Sasha fighting - is she trained in any martial arts and other combat stuff?
(SashaShark) Yes, as soon as she could walk her training started. It's not any one type of martial art but an amalgamation of several. Genetically modified with these combat skills locked away in her subconscious, she was continually attacked forcing her to either learn how to defend herself or unlock one of the fighting styles in her mind. She was genetically modified to be proficient with her meteor hammer weapon. (yes, it is pretty much the same one from Kill Bill) X3

TGIF Mar-18-2016 Paw-Post!

After a nearly 12 hour day of work, we had to get major groceries which took another couple hours of the evening, so... unfortunately this Paw-Post ended up being the latest ever. :( I had the Q&A stuff done, but not formatted beforehand, but most of it had to be built later, and despite having a couple hours before midnight, that just wasn't enough time. So apologies for a tardy Post.
So, this brings me to the whole descriptions thing again. Now that the tagging has gotten more sophisticated to indicate species and in some cases theme, I think I'm just going to cease with adding descriptions to everything again unless the picture warrants special/extra commentary. I know some folks enjoy that (I enjoy making it too) but when weeks come down to a crunch like this one, I find I rarely even have time to comment on the original submission let alone in the Paw-Post as well. With the Post dropping to one a week now, it's not unusual to have over 50 submissions possible, so that's a LOT of comments to try and make.
On the upside though, I have gotten some great feedback on the tagging of Most Pawesome Picture Runner-ups; for many, it's a great quick way to see some of the top pics in a Paw-Post if in a hurry, so glad you guys like that. :)

Personal Summary:
I've been drawing for most of my life, furry characters being the primary focus for most of it (with a dabbling of humans for a while too). I fell into the furry art community in college in 2008 via a college friend, though I've been furry most of my life not knowing there was a group of people for it! I joined the community as a means to share my art, and find a way of making a living doing one of things I'm best at. And my sona like many, has evolved over the years as I've changed. Starting from a Caracal cat neko-mimi type character, and then an anthro ocelot, moving to a bearded dragon ocelot that has had several marking revisions to be the current state I am now!
Comment Preferences:
I actually love thought out critiques, especially on personal work. Things that point out both weakness as well as strengths of pieces with as much as you can give to details on how you would view to fix it are well received. Though often I may not be able to or have the time to change problems, it always will help in the future. The only time I prefer to avoid it publicly is on commissions that are finalized. That way commissioners may not feel (or notice) a mistake and feel less happy with what they paid for. I'm always looking to improve, and try to do personal work whenever I can to endeavor to do so. Comments are almost always welcome, however on personal pieces I tend to shy away or hide the stuff that is a bit creepy or TMI. I try to post the

(TC) Hiya Iggi - and welcome to the Paw-Post Highlight! Thanks for being willing to take part. By now you're certainly no stranger to the fact that there are a LOT of paw-lovers out there in the fandom. What was your first impression on finding out your work appealed to them?
(Iggi) Well I was pretty new to the community then, I was just like 'Oh, they have a thing for that. Wow Furries have things for a lot of things'. So with the help of a friend who was quite into paws, I got better at drawing them for her which in turn got me more people interested in paws from me.
(TC) So being the paw-post and all, I'm gonna need to at least pop a few paw-centric questions at you, so bear with me. Now... I know ya pretty well and already know the answer to this, but for the sake of everyone else; do you have an interest in footpaws or feet yourself?
(Iggi) Hahaha, of course. Um, I like drawing the anatomical structures of them for sure. They are complicated and varied from species to species which makes them an interesting subject that I enjoy drawing. I find them cute many times, but sexually I can't say that I am. Though, I can't say that I don't like foot rubs and my feet are my only week spot for tickles. (Don't go tickling me though, I kick!)
(TC) *snickers* Noted. Feet are sensitive though - which is why they are so awesome when you get someone that knows how to give a proper massage to them! So... in drawing them, is there a particular type or species you like best? You seem to be really amazing all variations.
(Iggi) I wouldn't say I have a preference drawing wise. But I find C4 the cutest type, with my own sona having what I think are the most attractive. (TC) Heee... yes, I love dewclaws in their various forms like your fursona (or charr! Yay for charr). And true - most folks go with the footpaw type they like most for their sonas. Iggi is a really amazing and unique sona too at that, but we'll get back to her in a moment. So... the next question; how in the world did you get SO good at drawing footpaws? I ask because I think you could count on one hand the number of artists on FA that draw them as well as you.
(Iggi) I probably only got so good because I had a lot of demand for them when I started. But I've always felt paws were part of what made a species definable, so I studied it as much as I could once I started taking commissions in the community to make sure I was good at it. They aren't always species accurate when I draw them, but I try to when I can. Like anything though, references, study, and practice can make you good at it. and I do a decent amount of that. Plus with me knowing a lot of people who watched me like paws (like you TC), I make sure to put a little more detail into them which made me get better over time. (TC) Oh cool - thank you for sharing! A nice C4 type guide. I can see how all those played into it for sure, but I would also say you have some serious natural artistic talent that helps. You have a real sense of detail to structure; IE, you can see how the bones and tendons and stuff would work in the footpaws you design. So... less a paw and more an art question, did you have formal training in art, or has it always just been a passion?
(Iggi) Well I was fortunate enough to have both parents that were into art growing up. And they were pretty diligent in training me once I knew I wanted to do that as a kid. I remember days in high school where my dad was like 'you have two hours to replicate this image from this book or you won't see your boyfriend this weekend'. Harsh yes, but I suppose it got me to work quickly and do well under pressure. I also recall my mom helping me with homework and discovering a nude I had drawn of my boyfriend at the time. My mom, though very Christian, pulled it out, took my pencil and corrected the anatomical mistakes of his manhood and put it back in my binder. (So embarrassing, imagine me not knowing what a penis looked like! XD) College wise, I had little training. I actually went to college for computer animation and it contained only 2 basic art classes with things I already knew from just high school classes. So I haven't had formal training, mostly just familial speed drills and high school art classes. The rest was just my own research and study. So really, just high school I would say is enough to get going, but you have to take your ongoing study to better yourself. Never stop trying to learn and go out of your artistic comfort zone!
(TC) Wow... that is pretty epic, and goes pretty far back! Also, not the first embarrassing art find from a parent of a an artist I've heard about. XD So wow, computer animation training too - have you ever taken that further with the crazy skills you have now?
(Iggi) Sadly, not yet. I actually didn't much like the animation part and rigging classes. I enjoyed concept art, character poly modelling, texturing, and that is about it. I had went to college with the hopes of being a concept artist for a video game company, but instead settled in to work on my own here. Both working from home and a company job have their perks. For now this works and I can work on improving and building a professional portfolio since there was little training in college to do such a thing, which I didn't realize then. I don't feel like I'm quite there yet to put together a portfolio worthy of a concept artist job, which is actually something I'm going to start doing. I realized that on my beginning of the year hiatus, that I needed to get back to my own personal progress as an artist.
(TC) I know from our past talks that this is what you do for a living - and you're very professional and organized about it too. But you see room for streamlining it more? Or expanding it?
(Iggi) There always is room for improvement since things evolve and change. I would probably try to smooth it out. I know the wording can be very daunting for a lot of people. Granted, most of it is standard procedures, but I like to lay them out. Someday I also endeavor to change the way I even take commissions and the types I offer.
(TC) What do you find the most challenging about being in business for yourself?
(Iggi) Saving money for tax season by far. Business more on a daily basis; managing my time effectively and doing my best to stay focused even when personal life gets in the way. I've had a hard time with that one lately, and it has caused a lot of problems for me. All I can do is learn from it, and make sure I don't take on more than a few commissions at once even if I think it will be hard to make ends meet with less. More just gets me overwhelmed, and having to play catch-up is never good for anyone.
(TC) Yeah, I think that would be very stressful. I certainly hope I'm not too big a distraction on the day doing this. XD So do you have a favourite thing you like to get for a commission - something that you really enjoy working on from start to finish?
(Iggi) Hmm, guilty pleasure artwork. Ahh I hate to admit these kinds of things, because even though I like them I don't want to get swamped with them! Variety is good. But if I were to divulge, pregnancy and family related artwork is near and dear to my heart. In the more adult spectrum, oviposition, food-play, and tentacles are the most fun since I enjoy it myself. On a purely artistic standpoint, close-ups of faces, hands and feet are a lot of fun and give me the joy of practising weird textures. I've also been interested in trying transformation artwork, it seems like a lot of fun!
(TC) I like that there's a lot of variety in that - always something to keep your interest. And one paw-specific thing at that! That reminds me of something else about your work - you're exceptionally good with expression work, not just in the face, but body language as well right down to the footpaws. Would you find it a challenge if someone asked for, say a just a paw or face or hand picture close up that conveyed a certain emotion that had to be depicted with just that area?
(Iggi) Just about everything I try to take as a challenge. From 'make that weird ugly monster sexy' to 'convey an emotion on something specific'. As for challenging, yes it would be. I could likely visualize it, but getting it to a piece of art is a whole other story. But as I said, I do like challenges art-wise; it is how one improves.
(TC) *grins at the monster comment* You know, that said - I have never seen anyone make such a wide array of monsters look SO dangerously attractive as you. That is a crazy cool skill. So for a picture like that, do you sometimes find having a reference of some sort useful?
(Iggi) Most of the time references help, but I typically will use my own body, or mates body so I can look at it in 3D. Sometimes though it is hard to do and I'll have to try and find one on the internet or bring it out of my mind-space.
(TC) I like that term "bring it out of my mind-space". So... as an artist, particularly one doing it as a living, what do you do to stay inspried and/or keep a good workflow?
(Iggi) Perusing the internet way too much keeps me inspired. Seeing art from my favorite artist like Corvus Pointer, Centradragon, Kacey, Cooper, and Diago just to name a few. They give me ideas for things I would like to try in my own personal art, and I often try emulating new artists I find and ones i already love with my own work. I pick up little things that I enjoy that get folded over into my style. In fact I'd say that is a huge part of how my personal art style became what it is. Little bits here and there from art I like and how I perceive the world. Keeping a workflow going smoothly is the hardest part. Getting up and moving and doing exercise before art really does help if I can get off my butt to do it. Laying out a schedule with some basic goals, with daily stretch goals also helps. Breaking up the day into 2 hour arting chunks is also helpful sometimes, though also sitting solid and over-focusing is good too if I can do it. For me, silence really helps me focus though I know for many music helps a lot.
(TC) Alright... now let's get back to your Iggi sona. She is a very beautiful character, and of course, has amazing footpaws. But anyone who's watched you for a time might notice she looks different now than originally. Can you explain the changes and reasons for the evolution of Iggi?
(Iggi) There has been even more changes than just what was on FA too! I originally started off as a caracal cat lion type thing back in middle school ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3014998/ ), and didn't become and ocelot until 2006. ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3015378/ ) The ocelot was what a had a few friends that said it was my spirit animal. I didn't even own any spotted cat stuff, but I thought they were d'aww and went with it. In college I had bearded dragons and after living with them I realized a lot of personality traits that we shared. Around that same time in 2008-ish I think, I joined the online furry community. So with that brought a new sona and chapter into my life. I've changed her a few times, every time a major life change has kind of hit. Mostly just markings and slight tweaks to her colors as my favorites changed. Will I change her again even? Probably, but at this point I don't know when or to what degree.
(TC) Oh wow... I didn't realize the changes had been that dramatic! Very neat. She has been beautiful in all her forms, I think - very free and soulful sort of character, as well as very nurturing. Whatever changes might come for her, I'm sure they'll continue that trend. :) Alright - I think I asked just about enough questions of ya, so one more - is there anything you'd like to say to the folks and your many fans on the Paw-Post?
(Iggi) If you are an artist, keep practising, don't give up, and try to do at least one piece a week out of your comfort zone. As a commissioner, remember to always be nice and upfront about what you want so you can be more likely satisfied with the outcome (actually that goes for artists too). Keep loving you art, doing your best every day, and come to FA when you need a smile. Snow rapidly melted away, birds singing... and this old dragon not having to chisel my car out of it's snow and ice prison each morning. Me like. :3 Won't be long before I can have the bikes out, and be in the kayak as much as possible.
So - what started out as looking like I'd have the Paw-Post out early ended badly with an exceptionally busy day at work paired with one of the biggest ISP failures in history. XD My cable provider had a major fibre cut today that took out most of Southern Ontario - millions of users affected. In the end though, it actually worked out okay because I was still waiting on the second half of the answers for the character highlight anyway, SO - all is well. :)

SyberfabYeeeahhh... this kinda had all the right things to make Most Pawesome didn't it? Loki charr spending time with everyone's favourite Whispers agent, Tybalt. On Loki's end of the fun, I love how both of Tybalt's paws come into play - one being enjoyed by a Loki, while the other gently presses itself into Loki's lower jaw. On the other end, equally lucky Tybalt has his snout buried between Loki's big, sexy soles (though... you never know, there -might- be an apple between there). Character Summary/History:
Skylar may be on the small size for a GSD but what she lacks in height and brawn she makes up for in personality. She's bold, feisty, opinionated, and demanding, but ironically doesn't make a very good dom. She grew up in the mid-west, surrounded by 1 major city and miles of corn and cows and eventually made her way to the east coast, now living just hours from Manhattan she's built a life there based on her own needs and more importantly, her wants.

Some Q&A:
(TC) Thanks for joining us for the Paw-Post character highlight! So I think the first question about Skylar to get answered straight away is gender - she identifies as neutral, and is anatomically female...... but... I have seen male pictures of her. Just one off what-if type pictures?
(Skylar) Well... It's a strange thing, growing up I never felt particularly "feminine" or "masculine," sometimes I was one of the two, sometimes both. Most times neither. Eventually, mostly thanks to other furries, I learned about drag queens, drag kings, cross dressing, transgender individuals. Although I am not trans, I feel most comfortable with myself where I can express my gender just as much as my sexuality. Sometimes even together. I'm not a fuss about pronouns, though. If you prefer male me, call me a dude, if you prefer female me, call me a chick! I'm happy and content as I am. Which is why sometimes there's female me, male me, and things in between!
(TC) So pretty obvious that being featured on the "Paw-Post" there are gonna be some paw-focused questions here - so first one, and another curiosity to clear up, Skylar is usually shown with C4 type paws, but there is one really awesome picture ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18055296/ ) with the paws being C3 and with a heel pad - any reason?
(Incorgnito - OOC) My foot fetish is pretty obvious, even non-paw focused images in my gallery have a little paw focus in them. I find them both sexy, and aesthetically pleasing so I find it pretty easy to incorporate it. As for the c4/c3 flip-flop, my paw and foot thing believe it or not are separate fetishes, so sometimes the type flops around depending on my mood. Haha. Plus, some people have heavy preferences for non-digi paws, so I try to please everyone!
(TC) In that particular picture, Skylar implies she likes having her feet pampered - so safe to say she considers her paws important?
(Skylar) Well yeah! Any good play session starts and ends with some pampering. My paws are very important! I keep them soft, done up nice with nail polish sometimes and nice and clean, plus after a long day on your feet it's nice to have a little tension relief.
(TC) So what sorts of things does Skylar like about her footpaws besides pampering? And does she like footpaws in general as well?
(Skylar) *Laughs* I don't really know where to start here, I love all things paws. And I mean all things, from the subtle foot rubs to the more... Well, I'm sure you can fill in the gaps. I'm more than content to be the pitcher and receiver for anything paw-related.
(TC) Does she have a favourite type of footpaw (as in looks, species, paw-type, etc.)?
(Incorgnito - OOC) I haven't experimented much directly with my fursona regarding different types of paws, though I don't think she'd be too picky. Personally, as an artist, I think furries should have paws, and not human style feet so that might play into her character, since she's based loosely on myself, but I am an open minded person so I think under the right circumstances shed even go for that.
(TC) Does Skylar have any things she doesn't like about paws?
(Incorgnito - OOC) Haha, probably not. I tend to like textured looking pads, and long visible claws. Detailed fur is a plus, I think the only thing that would get me/ Skylar is the extra-wrinkly soles, and extra-dirty paws. Neither of us are into mud or toe-jam.
(TC) Alright, enough paw questions. :P What are some of Skylar's favourite things to do with her free time?
(Skylar) The list goes on... Games, shopping, fishing, archery... I'll try just about anything once. Theme parks are a great treat, I would go every weekend if I could!
(TC) Does she have a job/career of some sort - what is it?
(Incorgnito - OOC) Interesting question, admittedly I'm not really prepared for it. I haven't had much time to put a head-world around my characters, so other than rough details like personality and location I don't have much fleshed out. I imagine Skylar being a big dreamer, so she'd probably do a bunch of odd jobs trying to reach for a bigger, better paying goal. Being as out spoken and bold as she is, there are plenty of positions she could fit into easily, but none of which are canon yet.
(TC) Being something other than a binary gender can certainly be hard at times - has Skylar ever faced trying times for her neutrality - if so, doe she have advice for anyone?
(Skylar) We all experience trying times, for everything, not just sexuality or gender. Of course I have experienced harsh words and bigoted people over my choices but it's what makes me happy, and I can't help it. Be you, do you, pamper yourself. The world is a harsh place, and the world won't take care of you or nurture you, if you find something that makes you happy - do it. Do it until you can't anymore because happy moments are very rare in this world, and if someone doesn't like it, that someone isn't anyone you should worry about. Because those who accept it and love you for YOU are those who will stick with you through thick and thin, and that's what matters. Not your hobbies, or your sexuality, or gender, or interests. You gotta get back up when you're knocked down.
(TC) And is there anything you'd like to say in parting to all the folks reading the Paw-Post?
(Incorgnito - OOC) I had a ton of fun doing this! It was a really unexpected offer and I'm pretty pumped about it. I appreciate the opportunity!
