Haven't posted in a long while what's new still have a pretty steady job but I'm looking for a full time one that pays better. Pressure to get a better paying full time gig has amped up a bit. stresses in other areas of life have amped up a bit more than usual so life is a bit of a b*%^ lol but hopeful I'll be able to skate on through it. Saw Gnomeo and Juliet thought it was a very fun movie and great take on the ole Shake's play. I'm still waiting on some commissions from people I have great patience with one of them because I know she is a wonderful artist and always delivers. However one other artist I have almost just about given up on I'm not sure what to do anymore. :( If anyone reads this and has an idea it would be appreciated if you could share. Well I should go. So it's one day away from my birthday and I'm sort of excited sort of not my work had the greatness of sceduleing me to close on my birthday rather than give me the day off like I had requested or I would have been even happy with an early shift but no instead I got a closing shift but other than that life is good my gf and I are doing really well my family is well. My birthday is coming up lol I don't know not trying to dwell on anything negative just trying to have some fun but I'll be at work on my birthday. I'll try and maybe do something the day afterwards cause I mean that is just as good right....??

Just a quick journal about Devil. It was a decent suspense, scary movie. It may be hit or miss for some and I can understand that because it has a spiritual side to it but who wouldn't think that with a title like Devil I mean it couldn't have been more blatent other than to have been called "The Devil" or "The Opposite of The Almighty or what certain Religions teach is good" lol but you get the point. Don't go into this movie thinking too much it is a scary movie just go into to have some for a bit of a scare maybe to see if you can get a rise out of your friends or see what gets you but you shouldn't be too disappointed with this one it's an ok movie worth a watch and the acting is decent so hey I say make a night of it and enjoy a night out at the movies. TTFN

That was a fun film mad me really reflect on when I was younger and gameing of the past fighting games specifically how they fun to play with all my school chums gathered at one of our houses during a weekend or for a party. Several other gaming references made me chuckle and relive fond memories. The movie's plot was a little bit fractured just a little bit kind of like the story telling of video games of the 8 bit era but that was ok as well. Also perhaps one maybe two of the fight scenes were slightly anti climatic but for certain the battle between the twins certainly left me wanting to see more of a grudge match between the two respective bands. Anyhow besides these little gripes the movie was very funny and just fun to watch but it certainly was for a targeted audience. I wonder if those outside the gaming/comic/underground scene will go out and see this movie and enjoy it.

I want to first thank you for watching me I don't have much on my profile and my FA account has been slow when it comes to growing. None the less thank you for watching me and sticking with me. I have some art still coming my way just got to be patient art takes awhile sometimes just depending on the artist and such. =3 Anyhow some of you may have noticed a new piece just recently popped up my fursona has a hero alter-ego. I really was excited about this piece cause I had this idea for him for quite some time. I just could never decide on a name for his alter ego. I was really surprised that immediatly as soon as the picture showed up I picked up an arch nemisis already lol. But as i was saying what is a hero without a name. This is where I need your help. I need some suggestions for a name for my fursonas super hero name. My hero is an expert in hand to hand combat and in the use of weapons he prefers his trusty snap out baton or one of his collection of cleverly hidden swords/walking canes, they come in all different different looks and styles whichever he feels taking out for the night. He is not bullet proof but he wears kevelar lined suit. A special design he himself made and a vest underneath his clothes just in case. he keeps himself in tip top shape and he easily travels from rooftop to rooftop he is cat part tiger. He is a detective and very much aware of evidence gathering, trying to solve a mystery, questioning suspects, gathering facts. He has weaknesses such as goodhearted women, if they happen to be easy on the eyes as well let's just say kryptonite. Sometimes ill gotten money seems to disappear from the crooks and never gets turned into the authorities not to say that he takes it but some good causes may suddenly get some nice donations and maybe he gets a new walking stick. Please my watchers if you could help me it would be appreciated. TTFN

For anyone who hasn't seen this movie yet I would highly recommend it for a feel good afterward movie. It leaves you with a good feeling after you walk out of the theatre. Also pays homage to the original movie in subtle ways not overtly which I like. I mean some may disagree with me when I say subtle ways towards the end, but the movie had a logical conclusion and still was quite cool in it's execution and style. Jackie Chan surprisingly I think is starting to show his age in this movie, I don't mean alot but he looked a little fatigued somtimes. I can't blame him though he has had an amazing career and has made an awesome number of films. Still though The Karate Kid was entertaining and it will make you want to go out and want to learn some Kung Fu. =3 TTFN

So I haven't had a new journal in a long while here; I just wanted to let those who have watched me know that some new art has been commisioned by me and will be coming to me shortly, yay lol and I just wanted to thank the nine of you who have been watching me even though my account has been somewhat boring to watch lol. Let me see, something new to put into this journal, I got two small promotions at my job which is kinda cool lol but it has also added to my workload which has also made for less free time but hey can't complain. I just saw Toy Story 3 had quite a few sad and somewhat depressing moments in it, but all in all a good movie. Going to try and check out the new Karate Kid movie. I was a fan of the original and I have been a fan of Jackie Chan so hopefully it is not so bad lol I got to say one thing though I am quite jealous of Will Smith's kid to be able to train with Jackie Chan to learn some Martial arts with him now that is pretty cool. Eastern religions and philosophies have always played heavily with me since I was young and I started learning some martial arts myself it mixed in with my own upbringing. To round it up the art that should be coming to me soonish should be pretty cool one especially should be in the maturish range so that is a first for my fursona so some of may get a new perspective on my fursona anyway hope you guys like the art I'll post it as soon as I get. Seeing the movie Kickass made me once again want to read comics it is an awesome movie has great humor and tells a great story. I like the way that the movie balanced it's serious moments with some humor and laughs. Hit Girl is the best supporting super hero I've seen in a long time. I loved her character along with her storyline about her and her father Big Daddy. I really want to find and buy the original comics and read them. If anyone knows where I might be able to pick them up please let me know. Lol just an awesome movie really worth seeing. =) =3 <3

Just a quick post to those who take the time to read these, by the way I appreciate you doing so. I have started to recieve some of my first couple of commissions from people here on FA. I'm really liking the work and how my sona is getting drawn so far. I'm in a really good mood because of the great work being done for me. Thanks to the wonderful artists who take time out of there lives to draw these pieces of art for those of us who are not as blessed with the ability to draw. lol Well just mainly wanted to say I'm in a good mood. =3

Well this is the first time I'm posting something that partially pisses me off. My work is for the most part very rewarding. It does however have it's problems. However there is one that always seems to get on everyone's nerves and this would be scheduling at my job is terrible. Often people complain about not getting the shifts they want or enough hours. Usually this does effect me as well but I often just roll with the punches. It takes a lot of something to bother me or still going with the boxing analogy it takes cheap shots to make me mad. I often don't care what hours scheduling gives me and I take whatever and as many hours as I can get from the scheduling office however not this coming up week but next week two special things were coming up a friends birthday party and a special screening of the charity show that I was in. I submitted the proper paperwork asking scheduling to give me a preferred schedule of early shifts on those two days. Now I would have been fine with the scheduling office just being able to accommodate one of those days but tonight I went to check my schedule for that week and the workers in that office couldn't give me the early shifts and instead had my shifts start late. This makes it impossible for me to attend either event. I wasn't asking for anything special. I could have asked for those days off but I didn't; I simply asked for an early shift on those days and the scheduling office just either denied it or completely ignored my request. I do a good job when I am working. I have even recently helped out one of the schedulers with a problem they were having with switching a shift for themselves. What do I get when I simply ask for a preferred shift I get a big fat no and not only that they make the shifts so late that I can't even try and show up a little late to either event. Thanks a whole lot scheduling. >:( TTFN

So opening and closing night of the charity show that I participated in went splendidly we were able to raise $10,000 for the charity and my teams little musical won for the best overall performance it was a wonderful show and a very satisfying closeing for the show with the win for my team and the amount of money we were able to raise for the charity. So it's V-day. Happy Valentines day everyone. Yeah I know some people think of this as SAD Single Awareness Day but hey at least you can still celebrate by either having a party the day before Valentines Day or the day after with other singles, hey you may even get lucky... ^_^ ... anyway the show I wrote about in the last journal is opening this week it's going to be great and a lot of fun. I got a small speaking role in it and it's a fun couple of lines to play with or improv if I so choose to. Things are going pretty good for me currently just hope things continue to look up. I could really use a second job which I am sending out resumes for just hope I can get some calls back and set up some interviews. Oh yes some of you may be wondering about the title well unfortunately I can't reveal that much info. It's sort of a need to know basis. My close friends by the way are the ones on the need to know list so if you are that curious about some stuff you need to get to know me. =^_^= TTFN

So this journal is going to be short but sweet. The show I was talking about is coming up fast we basically have a week left and then we perform on the stage for everyone it's going to be alot of fun and great. I'm slightly sad currently a coworker of mine a very nice older man passed away from lung cancer. I remember not that long ago seeing him at work and talking to him and saying goodbye I just didn't realize it was going to be the last time. I am currently in a fun original musical production that is really just a showcase to show off people's talents...in other words it's all just for fun and meeting new people and getting some good exercise four days out of the week in the evenings. My team's script is slightly dull but with the mix of talent on the team we have been able to make it a lot more fun. Work has also been a priority and finding a second job has also been important lately. I have been to an interview which I think went well. It would be a significant improvement for me currently if I get the job but you can't just hope for one thing got to keep my eye open and my resume floating out there. If I hear back from the job though things will definately be looking a lot brighter. TTFN

So I thought it would be interesting to post up some details about my character...so here goes lol...He is a black tom cat with red tiger stripes. He has a single scar that runs over his right eye. He has two different colored eyes his right eye is red and his left eye is green. He generally doesn't wear anything but he never goes anywhere without his collection of fedora hats. When he does wear clothes he likes wearing his white zoot suit with matching fedora. The only other color he wears with his suit is a black tie that contrasts with the suit but matches his overall color. He does have a black spiked collar but he only wears that on special occasions. ;3 Well I'll probably post more later about him but I'm tired and I am still working out a few more details about him. Anyhoo TTFN 8)

[Edit] So little bits and details come to mind of this character and I write them down as they come. I find it hard to write down my personality in other words it's hard for me to describe myself. But my character he is very fun and flirty, he can't pass up on the opportunity to charm a beautiful young female. He can be a bit blunt and sometimes overly corny with his expression of his feelings but at least he is honest. One can't forget he is a Tom cat and is streetwise and his hard to miss scar on his eye shows he has been through a bit to obtain that knowledge. More is to come...

Well to be honest nothing new has been happening with me lately although I am kind of excited about two upcoming auditions coming up next month. To be honest one is really just for fun but the other one is for an actual paying gig so that one will be fun but it will have more pressure on it for me to be at my best. I don't want to let out too many details about either one cause they are still very much pending especially the paying one but it would be a lot of fun if I can nail the job. As for the fun one I'm a shoe in cause well it's just for fun and I always do my best for those lol no pressure in other words. ^_^ The following months in the new year should be predominately dictated by my current job and what happens after the auditions but either way it should be a fun 2010. =^_^=

Ok so this is sort of stolen from FB but I figure it's kinda of an easy *coughcoughlazycough* way to post some more stuff about myself. Hope this helps anyone who reads my journal to get to better know me.

1. This is such an old note sorry Adam it took me so long to write it you tagged me by the way...you bastard...lol j/k I tend to avoid these type of notes cause well I never feel I can finish them but there you go that was the first little random thing about me.

2. I really love writing but I am rarely ever bitten by the creativity bug and when I am it must not like my taste cause it lets go of me quite quickly so my writing comes out in kinda disappointing short spurts.

3. While in college I had major roles in three plays that may never ever be done again due to various reasons. The three plays were entitled, "The Tale of Tam", "Paula" and "Emma"

4. My top three favorite roles I have played are Robin Hood, The King from "The Tale of Tam" and Ernesto Paula's husband from "Paula"

5. I have met Jerry Rice and Joe Montana at the same place and sametime which oddly enough was a Safeway.

6. I really like the movie, "As Good as it Gets"

7. I have been in love and I have lost it as well or perhaps it would be more accurate to say I was tripped and fell out of it.

8. I really like to entertain whether it be hosting a party, mixing drinks, cooking at a bbq or being on stage or in front of a camera. Making people smile or laugh is addicting and brings a smile to my own.

9. I'm very picky about how I entertain people I want to make sure I'm doing my best to give a good show, party, distraction or food.

10. I have a very nervous stomach which doesn't exactly make me sick but it sort of builds up nervous energy for a long time and then eventually I have to take a break to let it settle. When I mean it takes a long time to build up I can mean days, weeks or even sometimes months.

11. I have only gotten stage fright once briefly before I went in front of an audience to portray Dr. Frankenfurter in a performance of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

12. I like Chucks, but I think they have gotten way too expensive.

13. I like to dabble in many things.

14. I like to play poker but am not very good at it.

15. I can be the worst enemy you have ever had but I don't have any enemies at least I don't view anyone as an enemy and it's very, very hard to intentionally become my enemy.

23. I am 100% mexican but can barely speak spanish. I understand a bit more than I can speak it. People talk about being first generation or second generation but I'm 1 1/2 cause my dad was born here in the United States but my mom was born in Mexico.

25. I am a very direct person. I prefer to talk things out in person and handle things in person over the phone or texting is definately not my preferred way of conveying things. Yes! I'm done.

I hate to start out these journals on a downer but unfortunately this has been on my mind recently. I have been getting used to being single after being with someone for nearly two years. She may feel differently about how long but who honestly cares about numbers? It actually has been quite awhile since she broke up with me but recent events brought her back into my mind. Halloween has come and past and well that holiday has always been a favorite of mine. It was expecially fun last year being in a long term relationship that I thought was actually going to last...looking back at the relationship sucks because one always has 20/20 when you look back at things. I see things a whole lot clearer and there were holes and things that needed mending but the majority of the relationship I still feel good about looking back on it. I thought by now I would be over it but I realise that I'm not...at least not fully. What hurts the most I feel is that I was falling in love with her and she unfortunately was not with me. What also sucks looking back on the relationship is you start seeing faults on both sides. I see where I was lacking and I see parts where she was lacking. I don't like holding grudges on anyone so I don't like the fact that I do feel a little animosity towards this woman who I was falling for. She did however do something that was quite wrong I feel though, which she admitted to me. She treated her relationship with me as if i was a stepping stone. As if her relationship with me was just something she was going to have in order to move on to the next step with someone else. I mean who does that? Who thinks like that? A highschool relationship I can somewhat grasp why someone might think like that, but an adult I feel shouldn't get into a serious relationship thinking this is just someone I'm using to get to the next step. Don't get me wrong had I known that the relationship wasn't that serious I would have kept my own feelings in check. I understand being and feeling lonely. I can even understand hookups that are only temporary. However she wasn't honest with me or herself and that is what hurts the most. Despite how it may seem after reading this; I am actually in a pretty good mood. I guess I'm just writing this stuff all out to help me sort it out, to help me get it over with. ^_^
