I get new health insurance starting next year. I’m planning on making appointments to get my general health checked up since it’s been like 10 years.
Also maybe most of yall if any of yall don’t know this but I have ADHD. Like to the max. Makes doing even simple mundane things hard to focus on, including taking care of myself. So I’m hoping to go back on meds. It’s been 5 years since I was on then since I had to stop because I couldn’t afford the co-pay.
So I’m hoping all of these things help me focus on working out, taking care of myself, going back to old hobbies and being a happier furry.

Other news is going into last week of first semester and it’s going well so winter break is two weeks of not work yayyy

It’s almost Thanksgiving time but tragically I have no where to go. Good news I get to have a “friends-giving” before the actually holiday so that’s fun.
But moving past my favorite month of November, it’s almost Christmas. And some of you made the nice list🎄🎅🏼😈

Other than that I have been writing a story and got about 25 pages in so far. I have secretly panted it on Wattpad so if you ever find it which you won’t haha just so you know it’s not great. I am a more research science writer than creative haha. It I will say to those of you that are frequent flyers here on my page, if you ever want to send me a note asking for a short story I’d be more than happy to try to write one for ya.

Sometimes school sucks because people won’t do their job.
I have a student who needs help and the admin won’t do anything. It pains me because I’ve know this student for their 4 years of high school and they have given up on life on the worst way and now are in a hospital and the school doesn’t care.
I have another student who has other students being racist towards them and the admin thinks it’s just “kids being kids and it’s all just joke” like???? No????
Schools preach mental health and no bullying and support kids but don’t do shit.
Just a million things happened this week and it sucks but as always I’m here to be happy for all so sorry for the depressing shit. Rant over but please check in on y’all’s friends and make sure everyone is doing ok.

Spring break is over and I have 9 weeks till summer starts. I did take on a summer position for extra money though but that position won’t be as hard and I’ll still have at least 3 days off a week.
We are building houses and students have to wire them up and get them to work so that’s exciting and should take 2 weeks so yayyy no actually lessons for some time.
Also I’ll be restarting (for the millionth time) working out to support a friend who has a health concern. So hopefully I can go awhile before I fall out of routine.
Lastly I finally updated my info page. Made it look nicer. Took some of the concept from a bunch of furries who have this style of long info page. Hope yall like it though.

So had my first meeting and it was resolved.
The parents apologized for their emails being aggrieved and the student was caught lying about some of the information she told her parents.
Everything had a happy ending.

Having my first parent-teacher conference with an angry parent bc they are upset that their daughter received a zero on a quiz when she was told to stop talking 4 times and on the 5th time she got a zero.
Like the mother acknowledges that her daughter was talking but said and I quote “you don’t have the right to correct her bad behavior.”
Like????? Actually yes I do???? It’s part of may job to make sure students are being respectful in the class towards me and other students.
That being said I’ve had this weight on my chest all weekend bc I know they are going to be mad and admin will just give them what they want and I think I ate one sandwich all weekend bc of the anxiety.
Let’s just hope this meeting goes as good as it can go.

Here I am. Saturday night. It’s stuffy and hot in my apartment and I’m sweating everywhere. No one to help lick and huff it clean. Oh to have a head to squeeze under my arm.
You know my paw is looking like it needs some cleaning and licking to get done as well.

I organize all my files and work into google classroom for my students per week. Currently we are on week 13 and I’m tired but also not.
My foot still hurts but not as bad thank god.
I started working out again. I took a break bc I got real tired. But only small workouts. Just something to get me started.
November has always been my favorite month. I love the darker, colder days. The rain. The break during thanksgiving. The movies. So many memories all in November. So I hope November is good or at least gets better for all of you floofs<3

So got some x-ray plus other crap. Turns out I have two thing so far.
I fractured my foot in November of last year and that’s why my left foot hurt but I never did anything about it lol. It was a tiny one but it doesn’t much now.
The reason I’ve been limping from my other foot? Just plantar fasciitis. Nothing horrific except the pain part. I have to do some stretches, try to stay off of it, and get special shoes so yayyy. Hopefully it goes away they say there is a chance it won’t and then I’d have to do more stuff.
ON another note I’m struggling to find a decent Halloween/autumn commission I want. Just can’t think of anything. So if anyone has any idea or wants to get a cute autumn/spooky/ whatever just hit me up.
On another another note I might be teaching calculus soon so that exciting. More money. Plus it’s fun math. Not that boring algebra. It’ll be the third AP I’m teaching this year so that’s fun.

So life update:
So I finally made a doctor appointment only for them to send me across the street to a different doctor only for THEM to tell me I have to x-rays done first before the appointment.
I was on hold for 4 hours before I gave up to schedule an appointment for x-rays. First day I’ve taken off of work in 2+years and it was a waste of money and time.
I’ll just keep limping and I hope I don’t have the big C bc I have to wait to get that tested as well. American health care system fucking sucks.
Also my pcp, first time seeing him, was hella creepy and just taking about getting girls in his youth and how his girlfriend is 20 years younger than him.
So yeah sorry I’ve been quiet. The pain has been a lot recently and it sucks even laying down my foot hurts. It wears me out and I’ve been extra tired.
On a positive note it’s spooky season so yayy. Favorite season.
