Thanksgiving: The good, The bad, and the UGLY

The good: As some of you know, I managed to some how win this competition (my entry is the second one :>) WELL, turns out that my prize, the fox toe bone ring was currently unavailable in my size :c BUT…. But but but, instead of making me wait for a new batch, Reid was nice enough to UPGRADE ME :D so now I am in the proud possession of a tall sterling silver fox tooth ring, I just got it in the mail (I haven't checked my mail box in a week >>;) and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, I assure you all :D I'll definitely be wearing it daily c: now if only they made a German Shepherd's tooth ring l3
The bad: Yeah, so I'm sure all of you know I stayed at my apartment for thanksgiving, so ya know, first thanksgiving away from home, bawwwwwwww- etc. and my best friend was thinking about coming to visit during the break but ended up not being able to so I spent the holiday alone… meh, thats not the bad part through, the BAD part is that my neighbors f-*squeaker sound*-ing dog would not, and I mean would NOT stop barking all day >:c ugh, the little fungus! It barks almost every day :v If you asked me, that dog needs a good ass whoopin' P: Mhmmmmmmm /ghetto
The ugly: My 16 year old cousin spent thanksgiving with my parents and was attacked by a stray cat and now needs rabies shots if she cant find the cat and bring it to the vet to make sure it doesn't have rabies :T I didn't even know there were vicious stray cats where I lived, I'll have to keep an eye out for them during the holidays…
Oh, and happy thanksgiving I guess, if you don't celebrate thanksgiving then… Happy 24th of November, yeah c:

Never did.
I never liked candy… And honestly, can you blame me? I grew up eating homemade puff pastries, tarts, cakes, and cookies, none of those box-mixes or "pillsbury crescent rolls." So I always found it strange growing up when kids in school would go apeshit for some jolly ranchers.
I also never like going to strangers doors or having strangers come to MY door. Part of that being that I was painfully shy as a child. I don't much appeal in wearing a costume either, I guess because I feel more like I'm playing dress up every day with my "regular" clothes. I'm sure it also didn't help that, while growing up, the only kid on my street closest to my age was a year older than me and a total brat. Also only two houses gave out anything, my neighbor and this jewish couple down the street who would give out either raisins or peppermints :T seriously? peppermints? What kind of kid wants to go to a house just to get a single peppermint? I always had to go just to be polite.
And oh, but I'm older now so I should go to halloween parties?
Yes, that is indeed down the street from my house. Statistics for 2010: 251 arrests, 488 citations, and 34 hospitalizations.
Me attending? How about no.
