Full Time Commissions After Weekend
General | Posted 9 years agoWelp, I only got 9 hours of work this week, AnthrOhio, and then 6 hours of work next week before I essentially take an extended leave of absence from work (if I had gotten another job lined up, woulda been a 2 weeks notice, but hmneh). In the meantime, while I'm seeking out a doctor, making appointments, and trying to get myself together, I do need to make a little bit of income again, and since my commission queue is mercifully whittling down, I'm opening to take more after this weekend!
Will be setting up a price sheet next week as well, that way I'll have all my ducks in a row.Wanna Take Some NSFW Commissions
General | Posted 9 years agoI unno, just to rack up some examples to show that I can. Heck, even pin-ups would suffice, but would love to foray into some more risqué art to bulk up those samples.
Sketches are 15$ for solo, 20$ for 2, talk to me if there's more. It's 5$ more to make it a colored sketch.
Inked pieces are 25$ for inked solo, 35$ for 2, talk to me if there's more. (These are black/white or color accents only)
Flat colored pieces are 30$ for solo, 40 for 2, talk to me if there's more.
For the time being, not going into fully-rendered pieces, I tend to get hung up on flat colors sometimes.
If you're looking for a particular kink, run it by me. Just don't ask me about excrement, cub, or vomiting, I cannot and will not do any of that.
I mean, I still got 2 ref sheets I'm working on and a badge (as well as my conbadge exchange), but wouldn't mind doing some quickies or sommat.Tablet Borked
General | Posted 9 years agoSo Wacom Intuos pro continues to be failure and in less than a year, this one's port has come even more loose than the last and refuses to work. Happened over the weekend, and right now I'm just
Apathy.
At least with this one, I got a warranty that ISN'T gonna backfire in my face and I am going to try and pick up a tablet that isn't going to have this kind of issue.
Just sucks I've gotta put work on hold and I'm p slow as is so it's just insult to injury.

General | Posted 10 years agoIDK for like the last month, I've been slipping between depression and this state of not really being all there even if my emotions level out. Work absolutely drains me after I get home and I can barely function beyond crashing by my computer and can only pick away at my art stuff before just petering out.
This absolutely sucks, I want to quit job but I need something with a steadier income than taking commissions (because somehow I doubt I'd make something steady doing that. I get bursts before it all goes quiet). I've been trying to apply for jobs that pay better and are less taxing, haven't heard anything back from any of them. I want to build up portfolio, but between job, burn outs, and commissions, I haven't even bothered.
I should be more upset by this and working to fix it, but when I'm actually aware and could think I'm capable, I'm in a damned daze where I can't do anything right anyways.
I dunno, I think I need to go see a doctor again. Or fake it 'til I make it (or break it, ha).Gonna Go To FWA

Good con experience, some rougher patches than the year before as someone running a hotel room, but I think it's all sorted out and accounted for now, so there's resolution!
Got to do some tabletop gaming again after a long period without, so that's a nice refresher, and also some beautiful jokes were born this con. May we never let them die.
Now for the next con. Midwest Furfest.

Might take a tentative inked/colored/fully rendered, but no more ref sheets (please no more ref sheets right now ;A; I'll take more when I'm done but I wasn't expecting any in asking for small commissions either)

General | Posted 10 years agoWell, Wacom is ignoring my issue apparently, but family ended up helping me with getting a new one, so at least I won't be put behind on my school stuff or commission work (I can actually GET to work, speaking of).
Part-time is teaching me to open stores now and apparently they're gonna have me be based between 3 stores, so I don't see a shortage of hours but I see a lot of traveling and frustration... but at least hours.
I might be able to make back my debts yet.MOTHERFFFFF-

Bad news is that I've got a ways to recover for my bank account right now after paying for my last class and right now I have to go and replace my computer's battery (not gonna be able to do anything until Monday, but yea).
