A wasted 3 hours and 10.50
Posted 13 years agoIf anyone is still watching, my apologies up front, but I've got to get this off my chest so I can at least sleep tonight.
Do not, DO NOT waste your money to go see Dark Knight Rises. I have never been bored with a super hero movie. I've walked out of movies before, I've been furious with Batman and Robin, but dear god...I couldn't muster the FUCK to care about anyone at all in this movie or anything that happened. Plot holes that you could drive trucks through, characters that checked their brains at the door, EVERYONE and their cousins figuring out Batman was Bruce Wayne, while the police commissioner who's dealt with him the most has to be lead by the hand by fucking Batman himself as to who he is under the mask...I think the only reason I stayed in my seat for the entire time was that it was like watching a slow motion massive car wreck play out right in front of me. I kept waiting for anything, anything at all to pay off the shit that came before it.
I've never done this before, and I will probably wont again, but do not give them a single dime for this abortion of a movie. Wait for someone else to rent it, download it if you absolutely have to see this...but don't let give them a cent in reward for this time waste.

And the hits keep on coming...
Posted 14 years agoTornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, nuclear meltdown scares....Intellectually I know that compared to all of these truly horrendous disasters and tragedies, all my problems weigh out to a hill of beans, but still...
Heading into my 5th month of unemployment, my area is horrendous for employment. As it stands I barely make more just staying on unemployment then getting a part-time minimum wage job. My car, which had been overheating, snapped my timing belt last month, and finally today after I had gathered up money for repairs, take it into the garage where they tell me that since the belt snapped, the pistons are trashed, and my only option is to buy a new engine. What had started out to be $600 worth of repairs rocketed up to $2500-3000 on a car I only spent $1900 on in the first place. Dear god I am sick and tired of being poor.
If it wasn't for the emotional support that my family and friends have provided for me....I honestly don't know how much harder I would be handling this.

10 kernels of me
Posted 14 years agoWell, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/mercury01/ tagged me, and once I woke up I found this note and missing one of my kidneys, so here we go.
The Rules:
- You must post these rules.
- Each tagged person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
- You have to choose and tag 10 people and post their icons on the same journal.
- Go to their pages and tell them you tagged them!
1. I feel I've gotten to know some great people since coming here, from http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jolene/ to Mercury01 to http://www.furaffinity.net/user/hellkat/ and others I've gotten to know. You all are good people to me, and I'm glad to have meet and know you.
2. Lack of magic/advanced technology+apathy+laziness is the only thing keeping me humble and my god complex in check.
3. If I was ever ripped from my life, (I really couldn't just leave my loved ones to fulfill selfish fantasies) I would love to be a female based hermaphrodite.
4. I am a serious old school comic aficionado. Captain Carrot and the Amazing Zoo-Crew and X-Men were my gateway drug, and sweet dear god I HATE how the major comic industry has gone in the last decade.
5. I am a firm believer that Animation as a medium in America has been disrespected, and that Disney is the majority of blame target.
6. I will not discuss politics or religion in polite company, I'm old school like that. XD (don't ask what I consider polite company)
7. I'm a sucker for good horror movies, although I'm not into the torture porn that has sprouted. (although I was totally behind the actual mind game that was Saw)
8. My musical taste is diverse and eclectic. From comedy like Weird Al and Spike Jones, to Bethoven and Bach, to Metallica, Flogging Molly, and rockabilly like Charlie Daniels Jr.
9. As a avid and voracious reader, I've found myself drifting further and further away from published works and sinking deeper into fan-fictions and internet writings.
10. I'm horrible at following rules XP (if you want to do one of these, go for it. I's breaking the chain. Take that Interwebs)

Biggest Mixed Blessing EVAH
Posted 14 years agoFirst off, Merry Christmas to all of you out there, weather you celebrate the religious or secular version of it.
And onto the meat, I got fired today. Sure working in a Liquor store isn't all that stupendous, but when you're getting a full 40 hours a week, it's something. But when you are told by your boss to either ID the OBVIOUS minors ONLY or be fired.....well, here we are. *shrugs* When you're informed that it only matter that the Alcohol Beverage Control checks are the only ones that really matter, and to not ruin the sales....*sighs*
The mixed blessing is, every time something like this happens, it may take a bit, but something better comes along, and the situation WILL improve. Crisis kicks me in the ass, and things start to happen.

Ten years gone
Posted 15 years agoThe worst has happened, my zip disk with 10 years plus of my stories, smut fiction, and back ups of random stuff, is wrecked. Popped it in, and it was all gone, reformatted back to where it was when I first got it....life is bleak.
Thankfully I uploaded all of my finished works and most of my works in progress on here....but still....bleh....

Mystery Incorperated
Posted 15 years agoHeya all, caught the newest incarnation of the new Scooby Doo, an you know what....it's not half bad. I gotta say I love Velma's new design, and the building relationship between her an Shaggy is interesting...though his refusal of the hotty in the sweater/skirt combo just because it might 'offend' his dog...come on. That and their characterization of Fred as being so obsessed with his 'traps', I mean hell, Rube Goldberg would tell him to keep it simple stupid, that he blows off Daphne to try an figure out what went wrong his trap. I think that may just be stretching to try and give him character that he really didn't need.
Though to tell the truth all in all, it did have it's good points. Building of the mystery in a serial fashion, making their home town of Crystal Cove as much a character as the rest of them, as well as keeping history with their most iconic episodes.
Here is hoping though that it doesn't end up on the floor like Juniper Lee an Megas XR, two great shows that got the unfortunate ax.

Writers Blocks and Tetris
Posted 15 years agoYeah, I'm not too sure about what the two have to do with each other, but hey, it's my Journal.
But either way, I've got to ask, any writers out there care to share their tricks and methods to slap out writer's block, it's either writers block, or I'm just too distracted by the wonders of the net or wow every time I try to tell myself to sit down an write...but yeah, any help is welcome. Heck, collaborations or bouncing idea's around couldn't hurt either...

U.S.S. Resolute 2010
Posted 15 years agoAlright, ain't gonna wish you all a happy new year, if you haven't gotten it already, you ain't gonna get it from me XD.
But the point of this, resolutions. With any luck, having them stare me in the face while I surf for porn will help remind me and keep my towards my goals.
1. Loose weight/cut my sugar intake down. This would be pretty easy after I switched from regular to unleaded sodas a few years back, but working at a liquor store with all the snacks I can munch on will be the challenge.
2. Write more/write anything really. Okay, after finishing my gift to a very special person, I've really got to get kicking in my writing again, whether here or posting on one of the many Addventure sites out there.
3. Find a proofer. This pretty much follows number 2, even I admit that I can't catch all my mistakes or trust Office to catch them either.
4. Finish some if not one of my many games. I'm a gamer I admit, WoW's got me by the short and curlies, but I've got a bunch of PS3, PS2 and PSP games, and lets not even start the games my roomy has, and I can't seem to finish any of them...bad bad!
But yeah, that's what I've got for now, if I think of anything else to add, you bet your bubpkis I will XD.

Here we go again...
Posted 16 years agoWell, here we go,
First off, thanks to all of you for your shouts and faves of my works. Maybe some comments on them about what you liked, didn't like, suggestions to improve them, but I'll take what I can get X-D .
Second, just from looking over which ones that you all seem to like the most, it would seem that my fan-fiction seems to be the big winner over the original fictions. It really amazes me how many people really really liked The Last Tomb Raid and my FF 7 fic. Maybe I need to go back to the fan-well to see if I can get writing again, and let the original works flow when they may.
An finally, Jolene, if you happen to catch this, you're still in my thoughts, I hope things are getting better for you.

Summer Reading
Posted 16 years agoFor those that are watching me, I've got to point this place out.

If you aren't reading this great universe of teens learning to control their powers in their super-powers/lovecraft influenced high school with strong tg elements, why not?
Go there, go there now, THIS I COMMAND!!!

A few notes before we begin.
Posted 16 years agoHello again, hello again Internet.
Yes, I'm still here, no, my fingers arn't broken nor did my muse get carted off by the smut police. But life and other odds and ends have kept me from my writing. But for now, I've got a few things to talk about.
First, this is a call out to the fellow World of Warcraft players. Hell's Kittens are looking for a few good Alliance players to bring some new blood and interesting characters into the fold. Jeolene and myself can't conquer Azeroth all by ourselves. We're mostly looking for fun and mature players for leveling, dungeoning, and light role-playing....hence the mature part ;). No Ninja's or Guild-Raiders need apply. We are so far a mostly night group, but days off can happen.
Next, my stories. Okay, I still think my outlines in my scraps is still a good idea, get the idea's out of my head and down to a more semi-perminent form of storage. But what I need to do is actually do it. I've got to see if I can at least get one outline a week down. (How Hellkat manages to pump out such quality stories so quickly.....I am in awe of your skills.)
But on top of that, I need to find either a proof-reader, a collaborator, or both. I know where I lag in my writing skills, well at least I feel like I'm lagging, would be I can't write a action scene to save my life, I feel my sex scenes are starting to get a little stale, and I can find myself at a loss for a ending for my tales. I mean writing tf scenes are all fun and good, I spent a good chunk of time in Altered Realities Muck doing all sorts of things to people who probably didn't deserve it hehehehehe, but I would like to think that a good story has a beginning and a end, even if the events from this story would go on to affect the story world.
And for now at least, I'd like to give a shout out to Doug Winger, weather he see's this or not, his art style and herms opened me up to a whole new set of interests, idea's and fetishes. I probably wouldn't be the fun and twisted person if I didn't stumble upon his fun work.

And we're back...
Posted 17 years agoHere we go again, the fur is back in town.
And with it back, I've got a couple of questions for my watchers. First, I've been thinking about changing my fursona, updating it as it were. The 19 in my handle just wasn't because there were 18 other toolmen out there when I started this gig. Not only for an update, but it also leaves me open for making a new fursona for rps and the such.
Second, I've been thinking about putting my story notes into my scraps section, so at least I can get them down somewhere so I don't loose them to the flowing gutter that makes up my imagination.
Any thoughts are happily welcomed.

WOOT
Posted 17 years agoWell, what can I say. After one month, my first new submission, with promises of more to come. Hopefully, maybe...we'll see kids ;).
Anywho we'll see how this works, between college, WOW and trying to find a job, time and creativity for writing might slow down, but I will pump the well. Smut doesn't write itself!
And now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Hey-oh!
Posted 17 years agoWell, I've got to say that after lurking in the background, I've got to finally put something up so those who've got a watch on my page have something to look at.
As for content, it may be a bit, but I'll probably end up collecting all of my works onto this page. How ever I will not put up the pics that inspired a few of them, we must respect the artists, and as most of them were done by Ranzab, and he's who knows where, I can't ask for his permission. So for now, stories are all that will be.
