Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well. As the title says I'm going to be returning to art bc I do enjoy it. Still making games but my scope for what I want is usually pretty large so it'll be a while or until I come up with something smaller.

My partner has assisted me in coming up with a new design for Derick and I know my last redesign wasn't that long ago but this one I think I'm pretty sold on as far as a desire of my own body that I'm posting. Now, I do view being a part of the fandom as a "Fetish" and like most fetishes I don't believe they should be accessible for minors. Now that may make me look like a hypocrite since I joined the fandom as a teen and that's fair, but as a mature nearly 30 year old I can see the errors of my ways and I already have a bunch of hang ups with this fandom already. That being said, I will not lock my old gallery behind a NSFW wall, the past in the past and I can't change what I've posted and god willing they're just belly pics. All future posts will be flagged as Mature, I don't even care about exposure. I'm in this for fun, "fun", and Socializing. Everyone seems to be censoring their work their own way so this is mine.

Hello everyone!

While the title may sound like a negative thing, I assure you it's a positive. I've been thinking and having the internal debates that I would have with this decision, but before that was stress, anxiety, and discouragement. I would see all my other artist friends drawing, improving, and doing this every day. Meanwhile I struggle to have the free time for much these days. Things are starting to look better soon though through my own efforts to combat the stress in my life, along with Rikku's aid. I just don't have the time or desire to continue with making art pieces anymore. I make them, spend time and effort but am never satisfied. So I will no longer be making bigger art pieces.

Instead however I decided to focus the efforts I have making art into making furry games and using the art skills I do have for that. My grand scope project is a furry wg/vore RPG that plays similarly to paper Mario and is already in works. However that scope is huge. Instead, I am thinking of smaller scope projects for now. I am aware the weight game forum jam is coming up and I've been deliberating if I will try that first.

Hey I don't post these often :P

Again I wanna try and be more active in the community, and draw more in general. I won't bore you with all the life changes but the big ones that happened so far this year are graduation, and getting a job as a game dev.

To that end, I think I needed to be honest about my design and realize that I wanna change to something more "exotic" and make other major changes to Derik whilst still preserving that it's HIM. I'm hoping by doing this it will make me think of more entertaining and situations to draw myself and my friends in. I already have the design and ref sheet done, but I also wanna post a new pic along with them so you'll have to wait for that design first.

I also wanna get more NSFW with this change, just because. I literally have no reason other than I feel like I've repressed that part of my creativity for the sake of where I lived and because others think my sfw content is better but I'm over that.

Firstly I wanna say that I hate myself that I always seem to post on here when it's life updates but I'm starting to have the free time so hopefully I'll be more active in the community.

So! Now that I'm almost graduated from college and about to move on with my life, I am trying to move out of my current home and in with my BF and my current roomie will be joining me when I move out to Oregon. That being the case, I'm trying to get my finances in order as fast as I can. I basically need an extra $350 a month in order to be secure with the move and and my job is not a guarantee with my current hours. I'm likely going to be doing commissions and YCHs over the summer, along with a new project.

Previously (idk if anyone even remembers) I was working on an RPG game involving multiple multiple fetishes and while I still would like to one day return to this game, I think I'm biting off way more than I can chew with it. Between my major school project and my full time hours I haven't much time for it. That being said I have a few new furry game ideas that are a bit smaller that I could feasibly get out in a more timely manner. Ultimately, what I would like, is to start a furry game dev Patreon while I work at my job and other personal projects after I graduate.

How I plan to try this out is to make a video using some drawings I've made of myself pitching the concept to all of y'all and making small prototypes of what I have planned and gauging the audience and interest people would have in it. I've got a lot of work to do there, but hopefully now that I'm almost out of school I will be able to do this!

So I have been wanting and trying to draw stuff but I can't really think of anything. I end up changing circles to bellies but every time deleting it and not saving. I don't know why I can't get over this hill, but I'm gonna keep going.

Also I hit 700 followers which is crazy to me in both positive and negative ways. I might hold a raffle but I wouldn't hold your breath on it just yet, it'll be soon but first I wanna draw something for myself a few times before that.

Was gonna delete my account for reasons I'm not gonna explain here but turned back on it. No new art while I was away, but I have been practicing and hope to post new stuff soon!

It's not gonna happen on time guys, lots of life changes happened over this summer. THAT BEING SAID I DO STILL INTEND TO WORK ON IT WHEN I CAN.

TLDR: School, new roomie, and sick of being in front of my PC held up working on the game.

Early in the summer I started work and if you wanna check out my twitter (https://twitter.com/Tophatguy4) you can see some sprites that I worked on! I even had the BF tasked with writing original music for the game too. Eventually though I found that working from home was not all it was cracked up to be. By the time I had worked from home longer this year than I had in the office I slowly stopped hanging around in front of my screen and spent time around the house.

Another incident was that I got a new roomie who is a good friend of mine that will be joining myself and Ash when I move out after school.

The school one I won't go too in depth but essentially, I almost had to take another year of school. I was super pissed but I managed to get some of my credits from my old shitty school to apply to these missing classes so I don't have to now but that was a whole 5 week ordeal in June. Officially a senior now though! Graduation is next spring!

My Backstory:
Another year done of college. It feels like I've been there forever huh? Well I have. Wasted time at a school that wasn't any good but I did get my associates degree from there which helped a ton at my new school. Now, I've made 3 or 4 games for school now and I will finally be a senior next year and graduate by next spring. What does all this mean? I wanna make a game when I'm not working this summer! This is my final week of school and I wanna poll the world to decide what I should pursue. I have two projects in mind that I want to pursue: a vore battle royale or a 2d weight gain RPG. Below you will find the pitches for both these games.

I plan on involving the community on the way to finishing it! My goal is to have it released to the public by mid August. What I mean by that is that I have a version that works but is not finished. I plan on building it out more over time but progress will ultimately stop when school starts. Further details will come when the poll closes (1 week from this journal post).

Vore Battle Royale: Top Pred

Backstory:
This started just because I had purchased a really well done model and hadn't done anything with it. I had tinkered a bit in Unity for a while and was originally going to make this in Unity but then I actually found out how Unreal blueprints work and was blown away and in December '19 I actually made the starts of a battle royale by following a tutorial on Udemy that I bought on their black friday sale.


The works:

First a SFW oral version, then maybe at some point I can integrate NSFW vore

Combat: This will be a third person furry shooter made in Unreal using blueprints. The combat will be, and this might be a stretch, but the Bioshock 2 multiplayer is what I want as far as primary play style but third person (Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4b.....S3Online%26LAN). There will be magic and it will vary between utility spells and combat spell. Weapons will use rubber bullets to incapacitate your prey, able to hold a small weapon and a medium or heavy weapon!

Vore: Vore happens after being knocked down and a pred comes up to you and interacts with you. There will be quick vore for this iteration most likely but future ones would include cinematic camera and animated vores.

Network: This will be networked host to peers.

Backstory:
I've wanted to do one of these for a while and I had to purchase GM2 for a class so I figured I'll just use it to make it! I'm hugely inspired by Noone's text based RPG (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13353103/) and Impossible Snail's RPG (https://forum.weightgaming.com/t/su.....l-version/2420). I kinda started making one but I think I'm gonna start over since I have way more experience and can make it even better from the ground up.

Premise:
This was it, you had inherited a home in a town you've never heard of. It took you forever to get there, and even having to walk a few miles to get to the next junction but you made it to the town of Dralville. How you hadn't heard of this place you can't even fathom, it was a bustling town with so many amenities. No mortgage and the home has plenty of mannaTech (Think kinda like fairy tale so magic powered) so you could do whatever you want. Soon your stomach growls; food! You'll need to find food or work for it!

Style:
I mentioned Fairy tale, but it also has some modern aspects like TVs and planes. It will be hand drawn by myself, the animations will be simple sprite animations however (maybe 2 frames) The character you play will be a self insert with no current features. Future plans will include customization.

Combat:
This will be part of a community decision. Ultimately it will be turn based, but it can look like earthbound, or final fantasy. Abilities and magic along with brute strength will help as you combat those who would be threats to you or potentially your allies!

Fetishes:
at first this was just gonna be weight gain and vore but I also wanna do things like hyper, CV, inflation, micro, macro, and maybe even some more.

As the title says, I'm probs gonna stop working on commissions after this one. I have been having trouble finding motivation or inspiration to draw and I think it's because I didn't know what direction I wanted to go with my art. So for the rest of July (I'm hoping to finish the current com this week) and until august 19th I'll be posting some experimental drawings, for example, I have some digital marker brushes for CPS that I wanna learn how to use.

As far as style goes, I wanna go into a toony-bara style; more on the toon side. I wanna do more NSFW stuff; even though my sfw stuff gets more attention. I even wanna try my hand at writing but I think if I get serious about that then I'll make a seperate account for it.

In short, I'm sorry I haven't drawn anything basically all summer, so I plan on blitzing out some stuff before school starts back up. After school starts back up, it'll probably be back to twitter sketches (which I didn't even do many of last year).

Sorry about the long title. I've never been one to ebeg but I got screwed over by my work and didn't get paid as much as I thought and I had to put both this paycheck and a chunk of my spending money into my savings for school. As a result I'm deeeeeep in the red.

That's right! I only have a few weeks of school left and then I'll be free again! I am definitely going to be drawing more often again and will be free to take commissions! I will be taking only 3 slots for drawing commissions, as this year I will be auctioning off a single slot for a one of work animation of whatever the winner wants within my standard commission guidelines and hopefully within reason (I'm only a single dog ;w;) I'll be doing some research to seeing what's reasonable.

So I'm finishing up another semester at college, and my question I pose to you guys is whether I should do a game jam, which is where you build a prototype game that isn't anywhere near complete but the mechanics are there. This will be over the course of 3 weeks.

Alternatively, I can take commissions which the last few times I have offered got no takers; not that I minded! So which one would (if anyone responds it'll be amazing) you guys be interested in?

I have fall break next week and as such I am going to be free to do some art finally. I was thinking about opening for commissions, but after consulting my friends I think it would be more fun to do an animation auction instead. So tomorrow: I will be posting an auction image to auction off an animation slot so get ready!

Tonight I'm gonna do some drawing and would like suggestions for a ych because I wanna know what would be good to draw! It Will also be a flash ych sale so it will likely be an less than 8 hour window to bid on.

Ive had to turn people away and i figured I may as well make a journal making it official. I start back at school not too long away now and i wont have a lot of time for art really; i wake up at 6:30 am (including Saturday) and wont grt home until 8 pm every day and Tuesday i wont get home until about 10 pm.

I do have about 2 hours on the train every day so I may be doing little doodles on my laptop occasionally but I wont be posting them here. They will be Twitter exclusives. If I ever have breaks from classes and or work I might do YCH auctions.

Why am i closing so early? Because I wanna do some of my own stuff before the year starts.

Just spouting this out that my game is almost ready! One last wave of testing then I should be good to go public!

I've been getting a lot of questions about my game and where it is. There were some suggestions that were made and some bugs that needed working out but what I have left is this:
