Recently found out I have carpal tunnel in both wrists (ended up going to the doctor last week for it since I couldnt even write an address and pain was all up and down both arms and almost into my back). Luckily I wont need surgery but if I dont take precautions now, I may end up having it later. With work and carpal, things have slowed down a lot more than usual. When I get home from work, I hurt so bad that I can barely pick up a pencil or even chais leash (I even have to have a second leash to wrap around me in case I drop hers, which I've done countless times). I've been trying to work at night on commissions but it's only a hour or two and it leaves me in a bit of pain for the next day.

I am going to finish everything, it's just taking time.

I've been battling depression and anxiety for months/this last year. I've also been having to fight myself constantly just to get out of bed every day. It's been rough, especially with staying in contact with everyone. I've also have been dealing with my thyroid and trying to figure out that problem. I will be going in for my second check up soon to see how it's been going with my current meds, as well as to see if this calcium bump changed in size or not. If it has, then things are going to get a lot worse as it has a chance to be cancerous. Knowing this hasn't been helping me fight my depression/anxiety... During all of that, I've been putting in job applications everywhere I could. Didn't get very far til a week ago, finally got a call back about a job. Since it's been the only one so far, I took it. I should hopefully be starting that sometime next week. I wont know how my finances will turn out til a month out seeing as I will have to go through training and figuring out my hours.

That being said, I will not be taking anything new once I start this job. Since I know I wont be able to handle both that job and art, I've decided to not continue with being an artist. I've been drawing for the last 15-18 years and ruined both of my hands and my shoulders. Basically, the art that I'll be posting soon and the ych's that I've recently posted will, more than likely, be the last art you'll see from me for a very, very long time. I don't know if I will be doing any sorts of art in the future at this time. So if you want to save anything, I suggest you do so soon.

Things have been awfully slow and I'm sorry about that, truly am. I am working on everything though, but with freelancing, it's rather difficult. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the patience with me. I'm pretty sure I'm going in the right direction, it just doesn't happen overnight...

Moving and house selling will be finalized tomorrow (4-12), the last signatures and things. This has been a long road of ups and downs, but a road nonetheless. We'll cross it, even if it's a little slow. Greener grass is always on the other side, right?

I'm really far behind on my work. I've being going through quite a lot emotionally and physically. My replies have been few and far between but I'm trying to correct it. I'm just getting confused with... everything. My anxieties have been keeping me from staying in touch and I know that that's not a good "excuse" but it's basically what happened. I'm sorry. I will be posting another journal requesting commission information and whether or not you'd like a refund. If you'd like a refund, I will need the email you used to pay with. Be aware that refunds will be slow seeing as I do not have a second form of work right now (I'm still currently searching for one). Once everything is squared away and all that, I will be taking a step back from the fandom for a long while (I'm honestly not sure for how long). I need a refresher. I do not plan on selling at any cons this year and I have a feeling that I wont next year either. I -may- go to a con or two to have fun (what do you even do at a con? every con I've been to, I worked at) but otherwise, I'm beat.

Currently I'm fighting a lot of pain (I'm having extremely abnormal woman-y things going on [going on 3 weeks now], as well as pain in my mouth). I do not have the funds to go and get my mouth checked out (I already know whats going on but its a few grand to fix). So this will be a lovely time while trying to correct everything.

I'll, hopefully, post again tomorrow with that commission information. For now, I'm going to continue sorting all the information I currently have.

You never realize how much stuff you really have til you are forced to down-size from a big house to a small apartment.
We're.. kinda at a half way point? Sorta? There is still a lot of packing/moving and house cleaning/repair to do before we get to put the house for sale. We're both already sore from moving what we have so far. Still have a good couple weeks of all this before I can actually begin working again (half of my set-up is at the house and the other is at the apartment, weeee). We're getting there, moving is one hell of a process.

We're moving. We are still packing and getting the house ready for sale. I will be a bit distant as it's all hands on deck right now. House selling can take a few days to a couple months. -n-;

TFF was fun, for the most part. Ended up feeling like total shit in the middle (so Saturday, mid-day) and kinda fell into a depression and had a moment of a big weakness (yeah, I broke down. Keeping a straight face while trying to hold back everything was emotionally exhausting) after almost 2 weeks of being "free" from it. So no, I'm not in the clear from being on the right meds yet. I know I'm closer though so I guess that's a plus. I honestly didn't feel like doing much Saturday and Sunday because it was just... It was a lot. There was some certain things that led up to it but I'll leave that out since that's a bit more personal.

Sales were okay, wasn't the best and could of been better. It's fine though, made my table back at least. Highlights of the con would be getting many hubby snugs, fursuit croquet, teacup painting, . I got to see a few of my awesome friends who helped keep a smile on my face when I was feeling like total shit. I haven't recovered though.

We went home Sunday night, got to sleep in our bed (I had the hardest time sleeping in the hotel beds..), and went to do our weekly food shopping to replenish out little drawer in the fridge... We decided to take my car and it wouldn't start. *facepalm* Another stupid thing to happen. We just got it towed to the shop today but it wont get fixed til Monday unless they can squeeze me in sooner. I do NOT have a car right now. Anything that was to be shipped after the con will be delayed for about a week. Things have been getting a bit difficult at home and this just makes it ten times harder. I'm in need of a job that will keep me steady instead of depending fully on commission. Not to just keep me stable but to help with our future. Big things may be happening and we're not completely prepared for it. Here's for the best...

But with that said, once I find a job, I will be raising my prices by quite a bit. I don't want to close commissions completely but it will not be taking my full attention like it has been. I want to allow you guys to commission me still, if you want to. I'll post it again once I find something.

Anyways, I will be taking a break from doing far away cons (so like TFF, MFF, etc) for at least the rest of this year and some of next year. I need to start focusing on myself and my family.

The con was good, sales were okay. Not what I was expecting but with the new den and things, I guess that could of been it. Never seen such a huge den have so many people though. All the traffic jams! lol

The last few days, my desktop has been crashing completely, turning off, and restarting itself. It kept freezing up with them bright green squares before finally crashing. First time, we thought it was just a game glitching out real bad, but the next few times we figured out it was the card. The computer isn't even two years old yet. I do have a laptop I can continue working on (sort of, it hurts to work due to the way I have to sit. it's a bit worse than sitting at my desk). I let the desktop try and force fix itself, but that made it worse.

Little update on me, I saw my first specialist the other day and got my meds changed around. I'm needing to see 2 more in January and who knows how many after that. Fun stuff.

ACFI was great for a first year con and I will probably be going again next year!

Things kinda went down hill quick right when I got back home though. Husband ended up with, what we thought, was some sort of stomach bug earlier in the day and after a few hours, he got worse. His fever reached 105+ and his limbs cramped/was shaking so bad. We had to take him to the ER (it was really late at night too, we didn't get home til almost 1 am). We didn't know what was going on and the ER doctor for that day didn't tell us shit, didn't even tell us how high his fever was. No real guidance on what to do or where to go next. He got a little better for about a week but relapsed hard, ended up in the ER again. This time we got a doctor that actually explained what happened, gave us direction, etc. Much easier transitioning than the first visit (still a very shitty situation but at least we're going in the right direction). Rinse and repeat. Was good for about a week to a week and a half, then a small relapse again. Went to the ER again to get more information and a medicine concoction to calm down his acid since we figured that might be one of the few culprits causing him so much pain. It helped. We did a follow up with a family doctor, who has done tests on him. So far, things are stable, but he still needs to go see a specialist (hopefully this is soon, I think he got a call but I'm not sure). When seeing a specialist, it could take a few days to a few months. Currently, he's doing fine (for what he's been through) and is on a very strict diet for another month and a half.

So that was my after-con experience. All my attention went to my husband for a few weeks. It was a tough and rocky road, emotionally and physically.
Now that hes able to get back to work, I can finally start working myself. I'm really sorry for the wait and the worries for my disappearance. It wasn't expected, at all. :/

PS: Currently, I'm going through some testing myself too due to my hypoglycemia, anemia, and (MAYBE) thyroid. I'm going to see a specialist for those on the 7th. I have another specialist I need to go see soon too but have yet to schedule it. Go me.

September was a very, very rocky road forr me and my family.
My grandfather (moms side) passed away. It was sudden after he went to the hospital, no one got to say goodbye. The first couple weeks of September, I was feeling rather crappy. Like I wasn't fully there, so to speak. Usually, when I feel like that, something is going on or is happening with my family (kinda like a sixth sense). I don't get to talk to my family as much as I'd like. The day he was in the hospital, the day he passed, I bawled. I wasn't even told what happened yet. My sister was texting me and saying something went wrong and I just lost it. Thanks to my husband, I was able to drop everything and go stay with them for a week. I left the same day that she texted me. I didn't find out the full story til I got there that night. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, was heartbroken. I was able to see family members I haven't seen in 15 years, as well as try to cheer up those that haven't seen me in a long time. I was able to bring smiles through their tears.
I took that week to mourn with my family. It was sudden and I was still in mourning when I got back, but it was also mixed with sadness that I had to leave. It's Always hard to let go when you like so far away.
Anyway... I lost a few weeks of work time that I'm trying to change around. I just can't do it all at once due to extreme shoulder and hand pain.

I've been slowly getting out of my rather... large slump for the passed few months. Been doing a lot of work lately to continue catching up with my back-log.
I do appreciate everyone's patience with me. It'll take me a bit to catch up completely but I'll get there as soon as I can.

So... I've been trying to figure out how to write this journal for weeks now. But now that I'm kinda better, sorta, maybe. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm even close to getting better. I'm still dealing with bouts of depression now and then, as well as quite a bit of anxiety and stress right now. I never liked talking about it. I've always closed myself in til I felt that I was able to "come back out" of my box. I haven't really talked to many people except for a select few who've been helping me through my hardships. I'm sorry for keeping quiet about it all but it's hard to just spout my insecurities to the whole world.

For the last few weeks, I've been dealing with a lot of pain to add onto the depression/anxiety. Menstrual (this used to happen once every 3-6 months [I know, this usually means something is hella wrong with me.] to once every few weeks now. The menstrual pain has gotten to the point of where I can barely get out of bed. These have lasted for 2-3 weeks. TMI but I wanted to explain myself, I guess. Since not many understands this part when I'm not as blunt about it.) I've gotten a lot of neck pain that made it hurt to do to much for days. Due to all of this, it made it very, very difficult for me to work, but I've been trying. Honestly, I have. It still hurts to work for long periods of time (I can work up to 3 hours before my hand/arm/shoulder starts to burn.).

To add to all of that, for the last few days, I've been dealing with a lot of teeth pain. Come to find out, I needed crowns. Three crowns currently though I could only, barely, afford one of them (only with some help). The one that was causing most of the pain. The procedure for this one caused me a lot of jaw pain. I was unable to open my mouth for days. It still hurts to open completely and it's been about.. 4 days now since the procedure. I'll be needing to get my wisdom teeth removed soon too.

Because of all this and the extra stress I've been having lately, I will not be taking anymore commissions unless it's a stream commission. I will not be taking any more suit commissions til I feel like I can do them in a more timely fashion (As in, when I don't feel overwhelmed with my crazy emotions and all above that I already said.). I will be closing everything down once my current stuff is completed. After I finish my list, I will be finding a job and, more than likely, slowly drop down art in general for a while. It's becomming not as fun anymore and I'm losing my want for art things. I'm needing to step away and that will be a slow process to get to.

Again, I am sorry for being so quiet and slow through all of this. Again, I am working, but it's just slower than normal and I appreciate the patience everyone has with me. I'll get through my list, just need time. I know I have a lot of work to do (especially on myself, definitely on myself). I just need a bit more patience.

Wish the news was better but it's not and I know apologizing over and over wont help.

Was a nice con. People were nice, vendors were nice, saw lots of cosplays (and squeed at a perfect Mei one), and got to see one of my favorite you tubers too. Sales were ok. Made back table and parking costs. Parking could of been a lot better... 25 a day is kinda over the top. Due to it only being a hour away, I will probably try again for next yer.

I accidentally pulled something in my hand last week that has made it duper, super difficult to pick up my pen/sew for more than 5 minutes at a time. I thought it was just a cramp that goes away after sleep but it never left. It feels ok after I wake up but after trying to use my hand, it starts to hurt. So whatever I did, it's taking its sweet time to heal. I've been keeping off it sincethe day it happened so hopefully I can get a good few hours of work done a day... We'll see.

Wedding Ceremony/Vacation:

Random Update -
I was able to get a new sewing machine a few days ago since my old one just wasn't working well with fur. It worked 'ok' with fleece but that was about it. I was sewing some today with all sorts of fabrics with this new machine and it's been a god-send. It blows through fur like you wouldn't believe! I love it. It's not super fancy and took me a bit to learn the basics on it. I haven't had a new machine in over 6 years so a bit of it threw me off. ANYWAY! I can get back to working on suit stuff and con prep. :3

Currently I am still working on back-log while mixing in streams once in a while. I have a lot done and only a tiny bit posted. I'll post stuff once every few days to keep ya'll entertained.

Vacation -
I will be taking two weeks off in October for our wedding/honeymoon. I will be unavailable during this time seeing as I want to concentrate all on the happenings.

For the few months I was unresponsive, was me prepping for three cons back to back. I sold at all three, they were good cons!
So for the passed week, I've been working on my backlog from the months I was out.
