Octransfur 2025: Ranked
Posted a day ago#10 - Sunset - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62674817/
My obligatory "spooky haunted tree" that I seem to do every year. I've started trying to add more motion line effects and I think the outcome here is nice. It's quite clear what's going on without any dialogue.
#9 - Stuck - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62635986/
More reality warping! I obviously took some liberties with the shape and colors of the Ender Dragon, but I thought the shape of the armor came out looking just boxy enough to be clearly Minecraft armor, while not looking uncomfortably stiff.
#8 - Neon - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62702991/
Not technically a TF, I suppose. But the idea made me smile so I had to do it. I have a fondness for this sort of binary animation (see my Game & Watch obsession). Plus, the idea of animating the piece itself was pretty obligatory.
#7 - Powder - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62797139/
I was originally worried about having to draw the raccoon as well and considered cheating by putting him just out of frame, but his simple design made him not too bad. There is a very minor transparent effect on the Cukeman body, but you can barely see it.
#6 - Treasure - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62694282/
I like the sense of action and the shocked expression. And the very basic impression of "This is chainmail" without actually drawing each individual link. (I never know when to stop adding detail, so showing restraint is actually an accomplishment for me)
#5 - Swift - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62729200/
Yeah, you saw this coming. As soon as the prompts were announced, I knew it was going to be this. I was disappointed I couldn't post it day-of, but it meant I was able to spend extra time getting everything right. I think it's the best RR TF I've done.
#4 - Winter - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62763347/
I always enjoy doing triptychs, and this was an idea I thought was really fun. I like the effect of the world changing in the wake of the painting falling. (I even fired up SM64 to get the screenshots for the backgrounds)
#3 - Button - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62823858/
Izzy is my favorite of G5, and I've been wanting to do an Izzy TF for a while, so this was a good excuse. I spent so long trying to make her mane especially floofy and curly, in particular with her two-tone highlights, so I hope it came out well.
#2 - Voice - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62664970/
Very simple, but effective. I really should try doing more head-focused TFs so I can practice doing faces, and he just looks so happy. I think the cheek could be a bit more floofy and plushy, but other than that I really do love how it came out.
#1 - Haunted - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62613252/
Is this my favorite of the month? I think so. It's sufficiently creepy, slightly body-horrory, with good patchwork stitching effects on the flesh. The ghost girl is simple, but gets the point across with a nice mischievous vibe.

Octransfur Days 21 & 22 have been updated
Posted a week agoI skipped days 21 and 22 this month because I was busy with other things, but now I'm all caught up.
They both involved TFs into cartoon birds for some reason. Weird.

Octransfur 2024: Ranked
Posted a year ago#10 Memory - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58383398/
I just like the vibes here. I love Berzerk, and I want to do a more proper Berzerk Robot TF in the future, but for a simplified version, I think it works well in terms of surrealness
#9 Power - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58470883/
I've been wanting to do a Raven Beak TF for a while, and I like the sense of motion conveyed by the bursting wings. Also, the shiny effect on the gun and the shifting text from English characters to Chozo
#8 - Night - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58530994/
I like the shading and lighting effects, as well as the subtle drapeyness of the blanket. It looks very natural.
#7 Forbidden - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58624889/
The last piece before my computer borked itself, but I love her shiny atomic age look. I like pictures that clearly have some sort of backstory, even if it's left open to interpretation. And yes, the pose is a direct reference to Forbidden Planet.
#6 Taste - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58434610/
Fun fact, I had to do the roughs for this one on my phone notepad app because I was away from my computer most of the morning. It's a straightforward gingerbread man TF, but I think simplicity can work well.
#5 Prize - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58602359/
Now we're getting into the good stuff. I really like how the perspective came out here. There's a very dynamic angle to it.
#4 Music - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58519435/
I listened to Color Pulse from Splatfest on loop during the entire time I worked on this. Almost 4 hours of the same song. But I love how the clothes and colors and shading all turned out as a result.
#3 Game - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58591371/
There's a lot of tiny details here I like. The legs becoming the plastic stand, the transparency starting to show through them, and the eyes becoming a single eye, including the pupils and irises. while also becoming metal. It was either this, or a mindflayer.
#2 Image - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58465824/
I'm kinda surprised this one is so high, but it just came out really clean with a basic but effective color scheme. I didn't know exactly what I was going for with the folding fabric, but I guess it works for what it is.
#1 Novel - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58579490/
I really challenged myself with this one, and I think it came out very well. I specifically researched what a medieval arabian-themed servant girl might wear, and based her outfit on that. The color shifting and shading also came out really nice.
So that's it! Thank you for reading. Which of my pieces from this year was your favorite? I love hearing what others think. :)

Posted 3 years ago500 more. I will admit, my output has been slow this year because I've been working on another huge project, but it's nice to know people still care.
Hello fuzzies - Gallery update
Posted 3 years agoI haven't posted anything here in a while. I'm still working on art, but it's a commercial project that has nothing to do with furry content, so I can't really share it here.
I still have ideas of TFs I want to draw, but by the time I'm done with work for the day, I'm usually too creatively spent to work on any of them. I'll be sure to post things here when I do finally get around to it, tho.
Sometimes I post doodles and retweet art or weird furry/TF related thoughts on twitter, so if you do care about any of that, you can follow me there: https://twitter.com/TorlionDragon

Posted 4 years agoAnother 500 favs in only a month and a half. That's 1000 favs in the last year, half of which were in the last 6 weeks. Although I'm sure my prolific output of 1 piece every frickin' day during the month of October had something to do with it, thank you all for your support on my silly little page.

Artistversary
Posted 4 years agoIt's now been 1 year since I started making a focused attempt at drawing more TF art.
I wish I had more to say about it, but I'm 3 letters behind where I hoped to be in my AtoZ project by now and that doesn't make me happy.

I'm back? ish
Posted 5 years agoNot that I ever left, but you may have noticed a considerable uptick in both writing and artwork submissions. I'm trying to become a better artist, so the whole idea is to draw constantly until that happens.
Seems like a sound idea, right?
So anyway, please leave comments, favorites, shouts, anything is appreciated.

All things being equal
Posted 10 years agoI will avoid naming names, for obvious reasons, but there are certain artists in the fandom that have been accused of plagiarism, and as such have threatened to take their entire account down because of it.
You, sir or madam, are an asshole.
Not the person doing the accusing, but the artist. You, mister or missus artist, are an asshole.
You use phrases like "Done with this fandom" and "literally at my wit's end" (which isn't fucking literal, by the way) but we all know you're just looking for attention. You're crying to your mommy because someone on the playground called you a bad name. You just want your fans to go "No, no! Everything's fine! you're a great artist! We love you! Here, I'll buy a $200 commission to make you happy!" When really, your art isn't even that fucking good to begin with.
Artists deal with criticism on a daily basis. Weak artists try to ignore it, but the strong ones actually CRAVE criticism. They use it grow as an artist and receive feedback for their work. They work every day to create better artwork than before. Weak artists decide that they're happy with their current style and rely on their cult of personality to reinforce that ideal.
When you say "I'm leaving the fandom" because someone treated you badly, it comes off as childish. Like a child taking his ball and going home because he couldn't score a goal in a pickup game of soccer at the park. You're crying for attention, and it's fucking annoying.
If you can really leave the fandom because you can't deal with criticism, you clearly misunderstand what "the fandom" actually is. Furry isn't something you can just turn off. You never stop loving Rescue Rangers or My Little Pony just because someone insulted your art. That part of you that loves furry art and content never really leaves. And if your love of furry media only exists BECAUSE of your apparent acceptance in the fandom, maybe you should leave, because the fandom doesn't need people like you.
I love furry and TF content. I will always love it. Even if I were to delete my FA account, I'll still love it. I'll still watch shows that contain it, and I'll still seek it out. You can leave the furry fandom, but furry never leaves you.
