That I comission an artist right before they go and drop off the face of the planet. Like I have a list of artists commissioned, and a few hundred dollars in art not received.

But it's not the same artist or even really a pattern of any sort that I can discern, just artist makes a ton of art, posting every few days, I pay for one, artist disappears. Funny thing, if I get back into contact with the artist they have a reason for what happened, I accept and everything seems to be moving forward again, then silence, again. I know sometimes stuff happens, but damn if I don't feel like I'm a little jinxed.

A board game that was supposed to take two hours... took about six and a half. And got two new plushies, a red panda and a husky. Smackbat zooombies! ^-^

Been playing it two days straight and it's great.

I was attempting to play the original xcom last night and was getting slaughtered. I'm not going to take credit for my team being filled with holes from alien plasma rifles though. You see, the game has absolutely no tutorial or instructions and most of the buttons are just pictures and you have to guess at what their purpose is and hope your guy doesn't shoot his self in the face.

Who designs a game like this! Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck! God damnit! Why do my people keep dropping their guns and running away! Aaaarrrrghghghhgh! Why is this considered a classic goddammit! This is just stupid and frustrating!

So, a friend informed me that to get your guy to actually fire his weapon at an alien you have to click on the guy then his gun then the fire action button (I'll have to figure out which one that is) and then on the alien you want to shoot at... and no where does it say or show anything like that anywhere in the game.

So I'm kind of angry at this game and tonight I'm going to attempt one last time to get my guy to not drop his gun and run face first into alien plasma rounds and maybe, just maybe, shoot one of them instead.

I had to wear a jacket today, it was kind of chilly. Middle of July in Oklahoma and I'm wearing a jacket because I'm chilly... what the hell...

I knew it was coming a week ago, the forecasters predicted it, but I was skeptical that it was going to really happen. Oh well, I'd rather have 65 than 95, like it was two days ago.

Like an hour at a time at least, and sometimes twice a day. Mostly when I'm just getting up, or late at night when I can't do much of anything else anyways. Next to the bed and computer desk, it's probably where I spend most of my time at home at. I just love floating in the hot water, especially when it's a bubble bath. I should be more active, but that means I have to get up and the air is so cold after a long soak...

With cookies. One of the work schedulers needed someone to drive across base to check to see if a light was fixed on a plane since the paperwork was turned in on the job but it wasn't filled out correctly. I probably would have done it anyways, but cookies made it a sure thing. A whole pack of Sandies, I love the slightly salty flavor they have mixed in with their mild sweet shortbread and pecans. ^-^ Not as good as say thin mints, homemade chocolate chip or oreos with milk, but pretty good nonetheless.

Didn't indulge for a whole ten days, then last night Dobie forced me to. He's such a meanie butt, powder and plushies and everything.

It's not that I don't enjoy it, but I've used it as an escape from stress and it's been kind of taking more of my time than it used to. I've been escaping from my responsibilities as well and that's only been adding to my stress. I've got no delusions of purging it from my life and never returning, but I'm kind of thinking I might take a break for a bit. I'm not canceling any in-progress commissions, but I don't think I'll be getting new ones until I reign in my life and set some things back to right. That doesn't apply to trying to get a slot from Wen though, that's like seeing a ten dollar bill on the sidewalk and not going to pick it up.

Mostly things on here won't be much different, it's just those who know me irl that might notice anything different.

It was pretty awesome watching them perform so many stunts and shooting across the sky. So cool. I can't wait to watch them again tomorrow during the air show.

Have really big grips for children's toys. I mean, I have pretty big hands, and most of mine fit in my hand really well. Maybe they're advertised as kid toys, but they're totally made for adult hands.
