Watched it with some friends last weekend when I was visiting Dallas. I laughed at some points, shed tears at others.

I didn't go test so I'll be getting a call eventually to outprocess.

I had been on the fence about re-enlisting and had decided to change my decision multiple times and now there's no more time to waffle. If I go in now and do the physical exam required to continue service I'll probably fail and my only options would be to stay in my current career field under a supervisor they I don't like and the feeling is mutual. Or I pass and I go to train for avionics eventually and likely with very little notice as to when I leave. Or and it's looking most likely at this point, I don't go in and take the test I get a call from the commander to outprocess asap. I've served honorably to date and have nothing negative on my record, so I'd be fine there too if I choose to just let that chapter of my life close.

I honestly don't want to continue for another six years, I didn't like my first six and I don't imagine the next will be any better. I'd be selling my next six years of life to them in exchange for training and the chance at a retirement if i stay in for a total of twenty years. I don't really feel like failing and giving them a year for free, I'm not certain I can make the minimum requirements. I hadn't been training because I had thought my not reenlisting was a sure thing. Now I'm uncertain.

If I sit here long enough, the decision will be made for me, and that doesn't seem so bad. It's better than trying and failing or succeeding and continuing to do something I dislike.

Don't know when I'll be back again...

Well actually I'm coming back Sunday afternoon. TFF bound!

If you are driving through Fort Worth on the way there, would you be willing to stop by the Amtrack station and picking up a rider? I'd pay for gas of course. I'd just rather not have to rent a car then park it for three days in the garage, spending an extra $100+ for a forty minute drive.

 huttser-coyote is selling his fursuit as he's going into the army soon and won't be suiting again for some time. He's been keeping this suit extremely clean and well kept, I've hugged him myself and can say 100% no BO or even any wear that I can tell. He's been modifying the suit and making improvements to it for ease of wear and just general upkeep over his time with it.

A while back I noticed that Sebastian has a strange aversion to the water bowls and it took a while to realize that he's afraid of water. Not all water though, just contained water apparently. He doesn't like the fish tank, the big water bowls with the jugs on them, the normal bowl of water he came with, puddles or even the kiddy pool I filled for them earlier this summer, but he didn't mind the stream when I took him to the Little Blue camp-out.

When he does get thirsty enough to overcome this behavior he tends to stand way back from the bowl and stretch his neck out so he just barely reaches the edge of the bowl for a drink and then guzzles as much water as he can, often emptying the bowl.

I don't understand, you'd think after drinking every day from a bowl for his entire life, he'd realize nothing is going to happen.

*throws hands up in exasperation*

Holy crap this shit is loud. Woke me up an hour ago and hasn't gone away yet. It faded slightly for a minute when I took a shower and filled my ear with hot water but returned to full volume within a minute or two.

Going to be at Oklacon, already registered. I'll try to keep Kodi from crying too much, he's a noisy butt. Maybe Sebastian will calm him down, either that or he'll join Kodi with aroo roos.

Wishing I could have gone to CPFC, unfortunately it's scheduled on the only drill weekend that can't be made up.

Well, I noticed that Kodi's dew claws looked exceptionally short the yesterday and caught him chewing them today. He chews his nails now. Doesn't make them very smooth though, maybe I should teach him to use a nail file if he wants to take care of them himself.

Just dropped Sebastian off at the clinic, I'll be picking him up during my lunch and might stay home after that. Unsure.

Also, this paycheck is thoroughly fucked. Between the treatment today and mortgage and utilities next week I'll be amazed if I'm not in the red before next weekend. So that sucks, but nothing to do about it but save our pennies.

Won't be doing anything as far as meets or events for the next month or so, I'd like to build up some sort of savings to prevent these overdraft fees when unexpected bills come in, they are a little expensive. As it is we've been bad and living from paycheck to paycheck.

Also in the next few days I'll be uploading some pictures of my latest project, a sign for an animal shelter I'm doing for free. It's nearly completed but I have a pretty cool surprise for them that they aren't expecting.

But right now would be a great time to get some work going, between sequestration and Sebastian's heart worms I'm going to be pretty hard pressed this month.
