PWYW Commissions [Closed]+ YCH Update
General | Posted 2 weeks agoUpdate 12/9/2025
PWYW Commissions are currently closed! Thank you so much for your participation! I have a few more I'm going to do, but I will open up for more traditional commissions come after FURUM.
Ahoy!
So to start things off, I am going to be taking PWYW TF Sketch commissions for this week. I'll have a lot of downtime from getting prepared to fly back to Singapore, so I will be able to sketch things out. I aim to take 5 commissions off of BlueSky and 5 commissions here for this. Examples of the quality of the sketches I plan to do can be found in the link below. If you're interested, just comment down here with your idea and any links to references (Or you can just post on Blue Sky!) and I'll hammer it on out. Just drop me a Kofi after the sketch is completed.
Examples: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:ne...../3m6qyjeicdc2c
Regarding the current YCH, I went ahead and messaged the last of those who I plan to draw it for. Unfortunately, 40+ entries was too much for me to do in terms of burnout. The PWYW sketches I've been hosting the last two weeks have been a nice creative jumpstart for me. Going forward, I plan to only do 5 picks for the YCH to avoid having this happen again in the future. Apologies again for those that weren't selected.
But yeah! I plan to open up for formal commissions when I get to Singapore again. Maybe take a few prior to Furum and then open up for regular commissions for December, so stay tuned for those.

Update on the Lycanroc YCH & November Commissions
General | Posted a month agoAhoy!
Well, I was anticipating maybe 10 at most for my YCH, but I had over 40 responses. I didn't have the foresight to limit the amount of applicants I had, and as such, I've been essentially spending the entire month trying to get through the list. Since I didn't set a maximum cap, I didn't want to disappoint anyone by having their entry discarded due to me saying "I've drawn enough".
Just know that if you've sent a response on my form and haven't heard back from me, its not that I missed it or that I have stopped drawing these, it's just a matter of me being on my 30th response on this YCH form. I will get through the whole list and work through it for the majority of November as well! It's just, in the future, I plan to hard cap these YCH's only to create more variety in my day-to-day and to ensure that everyone gets a product in a timely manner. It's a bit sad that I couldn't get through all these in October, as I see this primarily as werewolf/Lycanroc month. But as stated, I'll see to getting the rest of these finished ASAP.
It has been a lot of work and everyone I've worked with have been wonderful on communication and kind remarks. I am extremely and eternally grateful for the support, especially during this time between jobs for me. Its been amazing knowing that I can keep myself afloat during this time by my own artwork. I cannot state enough how much the love yall have shown me truly means to me.
That being said, I plan to try to mix things up for November in terms of commissions for YCHs. I might be a bit limited since I will be visiting family for the Thanksgiving holidays, but I plan to make the most of the work I can put out for the month. I still want to get in a few personal projects, but I will see what time has in store for me for the month.
Here's to wishing you all an extremely relaxing Hypnovember.

Midnight Lycanroc YCH Status Board List
General | Posted 2 months agoAhoy!
Current YCH: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62449127/
I'll be using this space as my public "Status Board" for the current open YCH. I am taking 5 YCH slots at a time to so that I can accurately and reliably provide updates and gauge my workflow status for those I'm providing work for. If your name isn't here and you submitted a YCH request for the current YCH, don't worry, the entry is still there. I'm working on these as a "First come, first serve" basis to start to see how this works out. Since art will be my full time job for the time being, I plan to focus all my efforts to completing these throughout my usual work week hours.
That being said, here's the current status board of those in queue.
1. panzicachee [Done]
2. KirbytheDragon [Done]
3. vukthewusky [Done]
4. DragonS0uLz [Done]
5. jagofalltrades [Done]
6. Blaze [Done]
7. Anonymous [Done]
8. rkniner [Done]
9. pyruvic [Finalizing]
I'll keep this journal pinned and update it as I work and complete these. Again, thank you so much for your support and interest.

Studying a lot more
General | Posted a year agoYup. Gimme a month or two.
After Consulting My Chat, I'll Submit on Here
General | Posted a year agoI spoke with my viewers on Twitch and they told me FA makes things really convenient for them to view images and browse art in general over Pixiv and Twitter. For that reason, I'll continue to upload on here going forward.
I don't update my Gallery on Here Anymore
General | Posted 2 years agoI might in the future if they introduce a better upload feature along with batched image uploads and a better tagging system, but for the foreseeable future, I don't plan on using this site other than to favorite artwork.

[Closed]TF Singles Commissions
General | Posted 3 years agoHey all.
To help with some costs associated with moving and to add a bit more wiggle room to our budget, I've decided to open up 5 slots of TF singles commissions. The price for these being $80 for a TF single shot piece with a simple background. I plan to start these next week (It will give me some time to prepare), giving myself about a 1 week turnaround time for each assignment. If you're interested, please fill out the form below. If your form is selected, then I'll be in contact with you either on Discord (This Discord account), Twitter (@LycanTosh) or on FurAffinity (Toshabi) based on which contact method you chose in the form. Examples of what to expect quality wise for these will be found in the images below.
Depending on how quickly I finish these and based on interest, I may open up for more, but I want to try to keep commissions down to a minimum so I can go back to focusing on studies to better improve my craft.
For now, the form is below for you to apply. This is my first time doing something like this, so if there are any errors that you find in the form or if something seems off/confusing, please let me know in the comments. Thank you again for your continued interest and support in my artwork.
The form will close at 12:01AM PDT on Friday 10/28. I will contact those selected for commissions on Monday 10/31.

A Month of Changed: Round 2
General | Posted 4 years agoIt's September! That means we are back in the month of Changed fan art. With all the updates to Changed Special, I plan to do much more illustrations of some of the newer TFs coming out in the new version.
I might take a few suggestions for which ones to illustrate, so commenting below with your favorite TF from the franchise might just result in me drawing it.
With that said, go play Changed if you haven't done so already! Onwards with the month of Changed!

Uploading Alts On FA [Input Needed]
General | Posted 4 years agoSure, its still kind-of-a-sequence, but I'm not too big of a fan of how they upload onto the main gallery. But I want to make sure you all get to see the goods for everything I draw. SO! I want to get your feedback. When it comes to alts for artwork I post, what do you prefer?
1. Upload the first image and post a link to Twitter/Pixiv where the rest of the alts can be found.
2. Upload all the alts onto FA and keep it all in the main gallery.
3. Upload the first image onto your main gallery and the rest of the alts into scraps.
YOU DECIDE, 2021! This would be so much easier if we finally got an option to add multiple images to one submission, but I digress.

Finished The Courses
General | Posted 4 years agoThat was a lot of anatomy learned in a month. Time to go back to my original submission pace. Thank you again for being patient as I worked on my self-improvement. Hopefully, as I practice what I learned, you'll see some improvements to the quality of my work.
It's Time For a Different Kind of Change
General | Posted 4 years agoConsider this: You just got your first apartment. You're excited and are finally embracing a new chapter in your life. You open the door and everything is just incredible! You got your own living quarters and it's up to you to decide what goes where! You enjoy living there and life is fantastic.
A year goes by and you have become well established. You feel like it's time to add in new equipment to your house, like a treadmill or a fancy new VR area, but then you look around your place and realize something: This space is kind of cramped! Yes! That very place you were excited to be in at first now doesn't seem all too significant anymore. You've outgrown the splendors of living in a studio apartment and want to move on to the next chapter. But now you need to research the market, see what you have to do to afford the next place and where you'll end up moving to. It's a lot of work and it's less time enjoying yourself at your current place, but you know that your new home will give you more possibilities.
Long analogy aside, I feel like it's time for me to pull the plug on my current pace for artwork and stop drawing submissions to focus purely on my art studies. Sequences have been very eye-opening for me in what I need to improve on. I feel like I have been choosing options for illustrations because they are "A safe bet" rather than exploring the unknown which would yield a better result for poses and tf emphasis. I don't want to be cozy at this current art skill level I'm at because I want to showcase everything I imagine to the best of my abilities.
So to do this, I need to study. I need to get better. If I can do this, I can feel that "New apartment" feeling I've been yearning so much for again. I want to hit that next level and I want to do it now. I've learned so much this last year and I got the privilege to illustrate some great TF ideas. It's amazing looking back at where I was then and where I am now. But now, it's time to hit that next level.
So what does this mean?
Suspension of current Solo TF comic
This one was a hard one for me to do, but I looked at what I made so far and realized that the comics progress was me playing it safe with too many panels. I wrote out a long story for this one and put so much thought into it. Knowing that my current art quality is hindering my ability to properly execute it will leave me feeling regret if I were to draw it now. What this means is that what you'll get later (maybe by September) will be a much better read than what you would've gotten in July. I'm debating on releasing what I've already made, but then again, I want to change how I approached the intro to this. The current pages I sketched out just feel super uninspired. We'll see in the months to come. (Plus I still need to think if a new title for this comic)
Project Slowdown This Coming Month
All my art will essentially be focused on the art lesson plan I'm studying that week. What I plan to do to keep submissions going on here is to draw "TF Studies" of changes made to that part of the body that I am studying. For example: Week 1 is arms, so I'll show my arm studies and a TF illustration of a hand changing to a paw. I feel like this is what's really going to jumpstart my TF sense and quality in the long run exponentially.
Lowered availability online
I mean, I'm very hard to reach as is, but I plan to focus more of my time on my studies for July and less time in Apex Legends and VR. Its fun to unwind from art with it, but I get too distracted with those activities.
Thanks again for your continued interest in what I do. I'm truly humbled that so many people like what I do and enjoy what I daydream about nonstop. It's excellent being able to have a medium for me to pour my thoughts into. It's something I love doing and am passionate about illustrating. It's something I want to truly be excellent at in life. And for that, I am willing to go the extra mile to obtain this.
Best Wishes,
Toshabi

3. Dusk Lycanroc (WIP coming soon)
4. Palamute

Slight Delays on Comics and Stuff
General | Posted 4 years agoAhoy!
I wanted to push out that new comic by around the end of May, but I have been working on a few other collaborations over the course of the last month and a half, so I'm looking to have it completed and released by next month. Still, there's going to be a lot to come out of my account in the weeks to come, so I hope this is something you can look forward to from me (one of which is a collaboration comic that's getting close to being completed)!
Thanks again for your continued interest and support.

I Don't Take Commissions
General | Posted 4 years agoAhoy!
A lot of people have been asking me about this, so I decided to just make a journal to answer this question.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: I don't, simply because art, to me, is something I take refuge in to relax and unwind. It's something I love running freely with any way I want to. The idea of opening up for commissions sort of ruins the mood for me and causes me to not be as focused with artwork. On top of that, I've only been seriously drawing since May 20th of 2020. I don't have the practical experience to be a good source of commissions with TAT or with the knowledge that I could execute any idea thrown at me. I'd rather not deal with that and just resolve to keep it as my hobby I can enjoy.
Q: Do you ever plan on opening up for commissions?
A: Under a very specific circumstance; yes I would. I don't at the moment simply because I work a job that sustains me. Other artists can use this cash (and some rely on this as their sole source of income). I don't want to take any potential customers away from someone who could use that money more. Much further down the line, I have the intent to potentially (still a long shot) open commissions with the intent to donate all money made from it to a charity to benefit a cause in need. Other than that I don't intend to open up for commissions at all.
Q: What about art trades?
A: I've been burned on a few art trades already. I don't like that feeling. This would be something I would need to initiate/request.
Q: Can we ask for art?
A: No. But down the line, I will open up polls (with species suggestions in it) for newer TFs in the future. It'll be on Twitter, so keep an eye out for that!
Thank you again for all of your support and interest in my artwork. I'm still amazed that so many people come my way for TF artwork. I've admired so many who have been in this field for a long time. Knowing that my small gallery is gaining some interests humbles me to no end and inspires me to keep on doing my best to become a better transfur artist.

Dog's Gotto Move
General | Posted 5 years agoIt's been a lot of scraps on here as of late, huh? That's because the current owner of my unit decided that they wanted to sell the unit that me and my fiancé have been living in for the past 6 years during the pandemic. We would've put a bid in for it, but they were charging way too much (About 20% more expensive than better units in our area go for). So, as a result, we had to locate a new place to live. Luckily, we found a place close by that's similar in size, but it's going to be a lot of packing for the next few weeks.
In the meantime, I want to focus what time I have for art on my studies so I can continue to improve rather than get completed pieces here for the sake of submission count. To keep content flowing on here, I'll repurpose some of the figure drawings I do for practice with TF themes that come to mind with the gesture drawn. When the move is all complete, I aim to go back and finish some of these.
I'm also working on a long haul comic project in the backend as well. So that's going to be something to look forward to. This comic is set to be completed in May (Yeah, it's a big one).
Anyways yeah. That's about it. Enjoy the sketches.

Some TF Sequence Doodles
General | Posted 5 years agoI'm not a fan of uploading a bunch of scraps for sequences. I wish FA had an image compile feature that Pixiv has, but alas, I don't think we'll get that anytime soon. So to ensure you don't miss out on what I post on Pixiv and Twitter, I'll make journals for them.

I might finish these in the future. We'll see! Hope you enjoy.

Personal Art Development & 1k Watchers
General | Posted 5 years agoFirst off, YAHOO! I can't believe so many of you are interested in what I do! 1k watchers is one hell of a milestone for me on here, so I am eternally grateful for the support from everyone.
Secondly, I'll be using this month for art studies mostly. I really want to take some time to develop on my style more along with working more with coloring especially. This will mean more of a boost to how my art will look (I mean, I hope), but at the cost of this being a relatively slow month for submissions. I've compensated this a bit by including some scrap work of some of the tests I've been doing.
Either or, here's to hoping for higher quality transfur artwork from me so WOO! Thanks again for your continued support!
BTW imma clean up the Trello either today or tomorrow to give a more coherent work queue. I know atm it looks like a tornado hit it.

[Poll] WIPS
General | Posted 5 years agoJking, Furaffinity doesn't have a polling option!
Anyways, should I be posting WIPs on here? I normally post them on my Twitter. Just wanted to get some feedback on how I can better keep yall entertained on my side of the FA Universe between submission gaps. They'll, naturally, go in scraps. I'd just want to make sure I'm not clogging up anyone's submissions or posting shizz that may or may not be interesting.
Who knows!
Let's get chatty! :3

You know what I hate?
General | Posted 5 years agoHaving to rely on an exploit just to upload image files bigger than 1200x1200. :(
Onto October
General | Posted 5 years agoWith that last submission, the month of Changed fanart for September comes to a close (I'll still draw a few more illustrations from Changed later on down the line, especially for when Changed Special gets another update). For this month, I'll be focusing on prompts made by
CrizBN for "Octransfur". I'm still a bit slow with how fast I can produce results, so I'll only see myself being able to complete maybe 1/3rd of these. I'll be sure to drop in a fair amount of effort into these to compensate. A few of my older WIPs I didn't complete will also get done this month, as some of them fit the prompts quite well! Either or, here's to hoping for some good content this month from my end!

The Month of Changed
General | Posted 5 years agoYup! September is dedicated to nothing but TFs from the game Changed. Expect even more after that comic is finished.
If you haven't played Changed at all, I'll be sure to include prompts in each submission to give context behind some scenes.
Here's to hopefully illustrating a successful result. Let's get started!

3 Months
General | Posted 5 years agoThanks.
3 months in with drawing TF and hitting the books hard and the amount of support I've been getting has made this all worth it. I'll continue to study hard and hit the canvas twice as hard to keep on getting better at this. So again, thank you so much for your interest and support.

Poll Time!
General | Posted 5 years agoIf you got a Twitter, feel free to vote for the next big project. I have a few side projects I'm going to squeeze before I get started on it. Next up is either Umbreon, Luxray or Cinderace.
