Hidden within the aether between worlds, the remnants of all existence are called to wage war once more. From the lowliest of heroes, to the might of forgotten nations, none may ignore the call of battle! Collect powerful cards, awaken long dormant foes, and conquer your foes across the eternal battlefield of the Universe!
(So this might be my biggest sale idea yet. And by "Biggest" I mean "biggest workload for me personally" hence the higher prices. This is me trying to break out of old artwork habits and prove to myself I can do something professional quality once more. These commissions will have considerably more effort put into them. Everything from composition, color balancing, minor detailing, etc. and I hope that value comes across loud and clear! Thank you for your business!)
-What is "Forbidden Battlegrounds?"-
This is a fictional TCG (Tradable Card Game) inspired by games like "Magic; the Gathering" "Yu-Gi-Oh" and "Hearthstone" where your characters are featured and integrated into the game! There are three kinds of cards;
-Warrior; (Your character takes the spotlight!)
-Trap; (Your character is either setting the trap, or falling for it!)
-Item (The item takes the spotlight, with your character displaying it, or about to use it!)
Each card also has an Element type! The elements are;
Fire - Water - Earth - Wind - Solar(Light) - and Psychic(Dark)
Each card also has room for a quote, whether it's a character's catch phrase, or a comment on the focus of the card itself.
Fill out the google form for the sale, provide all the relevant references and information, and your card will be on it's way!
(You will receive both the Full card picture as well as the individual artwork for the card!)

Yup that's right! Me and
belise7 have opened up a discord primarily for managing commissions, in the event of power outages or site crashes! But don't worry, you can still send in a note for commission orders as well!
ON THAT NOTE
I also have this shiny new form for ordering commissions!
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1.....orm?usp=header
Yup, google forms should help all the back-n-forth I used to do with these orders. If your order might be a little extra complex, state so in the quiz and we'll get to ya!

Commission discord coming soon!

Right, everyone knows about the FA blackout, and not trying to say the site is doomed or anything, BUT given my livelyhood is dependent on this site at the moment, having a backup or considering multiple connections isn't a bad idea all things considered.
SO...
me and my lovely wife
belise7 are currently making a joint discord server for managing commission orders! Should be at least a more convenient place to place and receive orders for the most part. Plus we'll be updating the order process to a proper form that should cut down on tedious back-n-forth, so all in all it should be an improvement all around! Will post a link to the discord later this week!

Questions for y'all while I get Work Done (long survey)
Posted 6 months agoCommission hub; https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11078670/
So still working on comms and getting ques done, and like the title says, I got some questions for y'all. Answer however you like, there's no wrong answers, just wrong attitudes!
1. What are your thoughts about Merch, and me possibly selling merch?
-This could go a number of directions, so more specifically; Are you someone who regularly buys merch from conventions, online stores, etc. and if so, what do you normally go for? (IE, Shirts, stickers, prints standees, badges, etc.) If NOT, is there a specific reason for that?
Honestly been considering this for a while now, especially with the Poof & Dillo stuff, but I honestly got no idea whether that's viable right now, or if I"m just up my own @$$ about my IPs and characters, so your honest answers are greatly appreciated!
2. Thoughts about future commission sale ideas
-It's no secret I love doing themed sales. It's just easier on me mentally to have a preset setting/theme and to not get too hung up on specific details. But I realize I do tend to get caught up in the idea of it, and my art quality doesn't always justify the sales pitch. So I"ll list a few sales ideas I had for the possible future, and if you could let me know your interest, I"d greatly appreciate it!
==Scale 1-5 (5=very interested, 1=not interested at all)==
==Est. pricing $-$$$ ($=$50-70 range, $$=$80-150 range, $$$=$200+ range)
-Chibipunk ($); Chibi-ify a character in semi-dynamic poses with some color theming effects to make them pop beyond my general style
-Warfang 80B ($$$); Instead of the "character on a wargaming mini stand" it would be a kind of painterly approach, trying to mimic something akin to a Warhammer book cover, with pre-made backgrounds. This was a test experiment of the approach; https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56549564/
-Gala of the Petals ($$); A spring/summer ballgown/tuxedo sale with a focus on theming around flowers. Commissioners could choose their preferred flower and have a ballgown or tuxedo themed around such. Includes victorian-ish garden backgrounds.
-Taste Greenstone! ($); A kind of fusion of the Racoonadillo Food Truck, and the Dinner Date night sales, this would feature a number of restaurants in me and
belise7 's fictional town of Greenstone. Wouldn't have to be a date, could just be friends hanging out, and can include more than 2 characters. Everything from fancy restaurants, to drive-thru eats.
-Gaiafall ($$); A Fighting game theme with a visual style inspired by Guilty Gear. Commissioners could select from one of four real world fighting game archetypes to dictate their character design conversion into the world of Gaiafall. Would include a transparent full body bkgrd image of the character, and one with the character placed in a character select screen.
-Biffventures! ($$); Inspired by shows like Takehashi's Castle, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Wipeout!, would show characters traversing goofy obstacle courses, getting whacked, knocked over, dunked in water (or mud and slime for some of the ladies because preferences) Generally comical and unflattering.
-The Dillo Wildlife Preserve ($$) Your character drawn interacting with wild Dillos and poofs of all shapes and sizes, including some of the more exotic varieties like sharkadillos, skulladillos, and the rare gigadillos! (Think the Jurassic Park scenes before everyone gets eaten) Involves commissioner's character interacting with dillos in a playful and friendly way. Mostly cute and feel good.
I have plenty of other sale ideas in the works, but currently these are the ones I"m most curious about to hear your thoughts on!
3. Personal stuff
-This might be something I already have the answer for and just need to actually do something about, but with the completion of "The Advent of Blobdog" I guess I wonder what the climate is like for me doing more personal stories/lore etc. or if I should just keep this as a commission venue. Maybe this isn't the place or time to b e asking this, but f@#$ it I guess.
4. Thoughts on Style
-Again, might not be the place for this, but visual style does kind of factor into peoples' interest. Truth is, one reason why I've stuck to themed sales is to try and push myself to try something new visually, since I feel like I don't really have a good eye for visual style, and I don't feel hugely confident in the style I use for commissions, being used for more professional ventures. (NOTE; when I'm saying "Style" I"m talking about visual recognizability, not stuff like outfit design or hairstyling. I"m talking about the stuff that lets you tell one artist from another) This question I admit is a shot in the dark, but hey, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take...
Thank you for your time in answering these, I really appreciate the feedback!

Welp, after WAAAAAAAAAAY too long, "The Advent of Blobdog" is finally complete! This dumb story I literally thought I could just make up on the fly has finally reached a conclusion! Thanks to everyone who stuck around, gave it a read, and laughed at the two jokes that were actually funny! Definitely feel like I got more perspective going forward with future project ideas and what not! So for now, and for those who are just barely hearing about this, here's a link to the first blobdog page, so you can see for yourself!

End of Year “Ask Me Anything”
Posted 9 months agoWelp, it’s been a wild year, and I’m feeling chatty. Ask me anything!
Emergency Commission Sale; Whatchu want?
Posted a year agoRight, look, this past couple of weeks have been hectic at best. Computer burning out, cat dying, and all the other fun taxes and costs that come barreling our way. Also has hurt the backlog of the previous sales (sorry for the wait on those!) Long story short, I"m cutting it close and need to do a sale. I thought I"d be caught up on everything by now, but that's life in a nutshell.
SO, getting to the point, I wanna do another sale, though I can't do a full size themed sale or collab sale like me and Belise have done in the past. I"d like your input on which of these sale ideas you'd like to go for, or if you have any suggestions of your own. Bear in mind, these would be intended to be kept cheap in price, and fast in completion time (So sadly that means Warfang 80B isn't coming back just yet)
1. Fancydillo's Everything Botique
-Get some new threads for your character! Let me design a Ballgown, tuxedo, casual, formal, western, urban, etc. outfit for your character!
2. Aggression style ICONS
-My aggression style applied to a headshot of your character to be used for your FA icon, or anywhere else!
3. CHIBIS
- Big head, small world, adorable stuff like that!
4. ACTION FIGURE!!!
-Get your character drawn as a totally-not-lead-based plastic action figure, complete in a packaged box and everything, ready for the toy shelves!
5. OTHER
-I like to think I got an open mind, what's a sale you'd like to see instead?
Lemme know your thoughts ASAP, will probably announce it monday or tuesday!

Time to Un-Kaput (Back in action!)
Posted a year agoRight, what a week for.... well, everything really. But as of typing this, I"ve secured a replacement computer, so I can at least get back to work. With everything that's gone down, I"m canceling any plans for a themed sale this month, devoting time to getting caught up on the current backlog.
-Regarding Commissions
While a new computer has been secured, I still have yet to recover the old data and files from my old laptop. This includes some sale templates, so some of you might have a delay in the progress of your commissions. In the meantime, regular commission options are available. (As it stands, blitz flat commissions are the least stressful and fairly fast for me to complete as well)
-Regarding Everything else
Admittedly that kind of "forced vacation" was much needed. I didn't realize just how burnt out I was. I"m going to try and push for more personal pursuits in the future, and perhaps some projects that might finally see the light of day. On top of all that, should have some pretty big news to announce by the end of my birthday month in September! In any case, fingers crossed there's better news to come! And thanks to everyone for their support and patience!

Ka-put (important!)
Posted a year agoHey internet, this is me coming to you from an iPad! Why, you ask? Simple!
My computer died.
Like “weird burnt smell from the back”, and “won’t even light up when you plug it in” died.
Needless to say, commission sales are currently on hiatus, any notes sent in I will get back to when I can, and uh… yeah. What a day…

Can I get some Feedback?
Posted a year agoRight, I've been doing these Themed sales for a while now, and I'm honestly curious about how people thought about them. SO if you got a minute, mind answering some questions?
1. If you ordered from one of the themed sales, which one(s)?
2. What initially drew you towards the sale? (theme, liked other peoples' outcomes, etc)
3. On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied were you with your order?
4. If I redid a sale, which one would you like to see come back, and what would you add, or do differently?
-
1. If you haven't ordered from one of the themed sales, what was it that you didn't like? (Theme, cost, didn't think the art was worth the price, etc)
2. Any ideas for future sales you would want to see?
Please answer honestly! (I swear I won't be offended!) And thank you for your time!

Kinda wanna get your thoughts on something
Posted a year agoso for everyone watching me on here, kinda having one of those "why do you watch me?" vibes. HOWEVER, I wanna do this differently;
For those of you watching me on Furaffinity, tell me 2 things;
1; What's the biggest reason you're following me in the first place?
2; If there was anything about my art you would like to improve on/do differently, what would it be?

Curious question about Adoptables
Posted a year agoCommission journal here; https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10815414/
-
Not trying to bash or anything, I guess I'm just curious how many people here are into that sort of thing. Our sales recently have almost always included some option for adding a freshly designed character, and I admit I do enjoy making characters from scratch, so this has always been in the back of my mind.
So;
-Are "adoptables" something you actively like, dislike, or have no thoughts on?
-For those who do have an interest, is there something specific you look for that makes or breaks the appeal of an adoptable?
-Is it preferred to have an "adoptable" that already has some kind of background/influence in it's design, or is a blank slate preferred?

Character Reference Menu (2024)
Posted a year agoThis one is in journal format so I can explain options better, so don't panic at a little reading!
Reference sheets can come in several shapes and sizes, and offering one format doesn't necessarily work for everyone, so these commission options are a bit more flexible than others.
If the exact format isn't your focus, here are some examples of how my "Default Reference Sheet" option looks;
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51466545/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50839615/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54386988/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48299578/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34662153/
They can be as extensive or as simple as you want, just be sure to make your decision beforehand
--PRICING--
Prices will usually follow a "per character" format, similar to my general commission menu. That is to say;
If a single character render is about $60 of work, a reference sheet with 3 poses or outfits will cost X3 the amount (IE, $180) This can be offset if you're just wanting the same pose with different outfits, though the price will vary depending on the complexity of what you want.
As a simplified option, additional components, such as Expression Headshots, and a collection of props are priced as additional "characters." for example;
An additional 3-4 expression headshots will cost the same as one full body pose of the same quality
An additional 2-4 props/focus details (IE a dagger, or a tattoo design) will cost the same as one full body pose of the same quality.
Backgrounds are by default, a gradient color, and the character's name/title in the corner.
-- IF you are making a reference with the intent for others to use it, Might I suggest having your reference sheet done in FLAT COLOR than being rendered and shaded? This will make it easier for other artists to rip the exact colors for your character from the reference directly, myself included!--
--INFO/ RESOURCES--
When asking for a character design from scratch, you should still provide approximate references of some sort. While a design might seem obvious in your mind, I however am flying blind! Unless you're ok with me taking the wheel as far as your character design, here are some useful tips that will make the creation process easier for me;
-HAIRSTYLE; Just saying "long hair, " "Short hair" or even "Mohawk" isn't that helpful because even those shapes can vary wildly. If you can find an example of the shape of hair you want, even if it's not the right color, it will help me out immensely.
-BODY SHAPE; Similar to hair, asking for a "Buff character" or a "Fat character" doesn't help me much. Examples IRL or from other illustrations are far more informative (And yes this includes breast size)
-NO HEX CODES; While a consistent way to get exact color tones, it's a tedious process, and it's just far less exhausting to have a selection of color dots instead to work from, even if you have to use MS Paint to do it, it'll go a long way!
-NO BACKSTORIES; Not to downplay any significance behind a character's lore, but outside of personality or outfit choice, there's little need for me to read through a couple of paragraphs just to find out their eyes are purple. Keep it simple, and relevant to what will be visible on the reference sheet.
When you know what you'd like, and have all the resources ready, send me a note with said info and I"ll get a price estimate to you right away!
Reference sheets can come in several shapes and sizes, and offering one format doesn't necessarily work for everyone, so these commission options are a bit more flexible than others.
If the exact format isn't your focus, here are some examples of how my "Default Reference Sheet" option looks;
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51466545/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50839615/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54386988/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48299578/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34662153/
They can be as extensive or as simple as you want, just be sure to make your decision beforehand
--PRICING--
Prices will usually follow a "per character" format, similar to my general commission menu. That is to say;
If a single character render is about $60 of work, a reference sheet with 3 poses or outfits will cost X3 the amount (IE, $180) This can be offset if you're just wanting the same pose with different outfits, though the price will vary depending on the complexity of what you want.
As a simplified option, additional components, such as Expression Headshots, and a collection of props are priced as additional "characters." for example;

Intro to 2024!/ Commission FAQ
Posted a year agoWelcome to the new year! I"m implementing some big updates starting today, so thank you for reading these in the first place! (Consider these my personal FA "patch notes.")
1. New commission menu and pricing! Don't worry the price changes are nothing dramatic, but they hadn't changed for over 2 years, so it was time for an update
2. THEMED SALES ARE ON A MONTHLY ROTATION NOW! Each month will have a different themed sale available, many reoccurring ones, so keep an eye out!
3. Aggression commissions are now a "Themed Sale" at least until I can develop it further.
4. We are sorry about the delay for the "Sniff N' Snoff Tavern sales," Illness and holiday crunch made it difficult to keep up. Those orders WILL be finished, thank you for your patience.
So this is a new thing I'm adding to my setup; a FAQ section! Here I hope you'll get any and all answers to the majority of questions you might have regarding me and my commission services. If you don't see your question answered, feel free to ask away!

FAQ
-"Why don't you draw nudity/sex?"
It's a moral and personal choice. Kinda feel like blatantly sexual content is a bit oversaturated online, and I prefer to do a variety of topics and themes whenever possible.
-"How come your commissions are only on FurAffinity?"
Honestly, it's because I'm bad at managing multiple sites, let alone individual orders from multiple sites. It's why I"m not that good with social media as well. Too many orders fell by the wayside or got forgotten trying to do that juggling act.
-"Why don't you stream commission work anymore?"
I'm just not that good on camera. Interruptions happen, people are left waiting while I"m trying to get feedback, work gets done faster when the camera is off.
-"Is there a reason why you don't draw same-sex couples?"
LET ME BE CLEAR; I have nothing against people who go for whatever lifestyle choice on the LGBTQ spectrum. It's simply just not my choice, and a factor that just doesn't sit well with me.
-"Why don't you offer Completion Dates?"
Because I'm not blessed enough to have a consistent schedule. Life happens, no commission takes the same time as another, and the last thing I need is more stress from an additional time crunch.
-"How come I have to wait for a sale to come back on rotation?"
I've started a LOT of themed sales now, to the point where it's getting difficult to provide consistent styles across different rules! That's why I put them on rotation; so I can switch gears more easily.
-"What's the difference with the Collab Sales?"
Alright lemme break it down;
"THEMED SALES" are my own personal sales I offer, and these are the ones that go on rotation
"COLLAB SALES" are sales done between me and
belise7 as a collaborative effort. These DON'T go on rotation, and are instead available based on what both me and her want to offer.
-"Do you have a Discord?"
Again, I'm bad with managing multiple social medias. I understand people want a line of communication so they can check up on commission progress, but there's three reasons I don't;
1. Commission updates are offered in the Classic Commission option
2. No offense, but I don't consider FA commissions as "professional work" like logo design or designing a book cover.
3. Juggling communications between FA and Discord just gets confusing real fast
I might open a public discord in the future, but for now, I wouldn't count on it.
-"Why Armadillos?"
Combination of defensive personality, mostly growing up in the American southwest, and you don't see a lot of armadillo sonas out there!

Conclusion to life update
Posted 2 years agoIt's over. We are finally out of that mess of a place. And it hurt. A lot. We now have left grandma in the hands of people who should be more caring, with no reimbursement, or bare acknowledgement of what we spent and contributed. On one hand I feel sick, but on the other, I know things will be alright. Just the shock of adapting that's difficult.
So you'll be happy to know that it'll be easier for me to complete commissions now (and frankly I could use the work at the moment) and maybe I"ll finally get some more personal art done finally, maybe even finish Blobdog!

Life update for the past two years

Right, long time followers might have noticed a drop in commissions, personal art, and a general mood as well. Truth be told, it hasn't been all that great. The following is a long read and fairly personal, so fair warning if you're just here for fanservice.
-
Right, I think it's time I talk about what the f@#$ has been going on over here. I"ve kinda skimmed details in the past at my mom's request, but I think that since were moving, it's free game. (Warning, this is a wall of text...)
So for the past two years I moved into my grandma's place. I did this to assist my own mother in taking care of my grandmother. When this started, grandma was in the middle of trying to divorce from an awful man who abused church influence and tried to rob her via inheritance legal bullcrap. (For the record, my mom also survived a divorce from someone money-focused who also abused his standing in the church for personal gain, so this assistance had some personal motivation behind it) The process almost took the entire first year of my stay, with the divorce being finalized at the end of May, right before grandma's 90th bday.
During this time however, there was some severe contention about inheritances. Specifically about who would get the house. My mother is the youngest of 6 children, and the prime candidates for the house were the oldest of the 6, and the one boy out of the 6, whom I will simply refer to Aunt and Uncle so as to not use names. My aunt is well versed in legal jargon and presents herself as the authority on anything she's involved with. My uncle is a blue-collar playboy personality who clearly wasn't told no as a child. Both seem to have loved money more than family from my perspective, and both had a split "Power of attorney" between medical, and financial.
From the start, we were told not to "move in," as Jerry said the house was his, the only merit to his claim was an undocumented statement of Grandpa on his death bed, saying the house was all his, with no witnesses present. He made it abundantly clear that we were only permitted to live there because grandma invited us, and once she was gone, so were we. He pressured us at every opportunity to get on waiting lists for housing to get us to move out sooner if possible.
Our tasks were to make sure grandma was well taken care of. Mom attended to her 24/7, giving assigned medication, helping her in the bathroom, etc. I did all the cooking, various yardworks, and whatever else was needed at the moment.
Oh, and we were required to pay rent, on top of all this service. $750 a mo. for my mother, and $300 a mo. for me. Mine was lower because I also now bought all the groceries and supplies for the entire household, some months racking up to $1200 in grocery bills.
It should be noted that, while we had basic utilities, and some decent wifi, the house was old. Like earlier than the 1950's. Beams were bent, lineolium was stained, and some of the sinks had black something-or-other in them. We were meant to keep the entire house as clean as we could, but all of our stuff for me, my mother, and my sister, were restricted to two small bedrooms, about 12 x 14 ft each. My mother had just come from a rented out basement flat. She had furniture and storage boxes, there was no way all of it would fit in those dinky rooms, so she rented out one of those storage units, which also ran another $200 a month on top of everything else.
One additional thing about the house; there were security cameras installed. They were allegedly put there to make sure grandma could be monitored should anything happen to her under her ex's watch, but by the time we got there, they were never removed, and are still there today. Neither we, nor grandma can access the footage on those cameras, but my aunt and uncle can. It made my mom paranoid about making plans or even talking out loud, which easily made heated situations more aggravated and contentious, especially when she did blurt out plans, only to have my aunt or uncle conveniently stop by for a visit just as we were about to leave. This was troubling because it's become apparent that my uncle has taken an interest in some of my mom's stuff, wanting to use it for his own purposes, or sell it. Constant comments about how my mom is a hoarder and how she should let him organize a garage sale were pretty common at the start.
Throughout the first year we dealt with all sorts of disagreements. My aunt would forbid grandma getting any type of Covid-19 shot, present my mother with several questionable "documents" she insisted on having her sign (which she didn't thankfully) and pressured my mother to leave the house to pursue finding a job, on top of her care of my grandma. My uncle would often arrive unannounced to do anything from just visiting, to installing upgrades to "his" house, looking through any stuff of ours that wasn't in our assigned rooms, and constantly make dark jokes to my grandma about death. Jokes such as;
-(While taking her to a funeral) "Now remember, this is rehersal right?"
-(grandma coughs once) "Oh! Should I call the morgue?"
During this first year, grandma also had two strokes and a TIA. The first time my mother called an ambulance, only to be reprimanded from my uncle for not calling him first. The second stroke they were a little more accepting of the ambulance. Soon after my grandma was diagnosed with alzheimers, but being the firecracker she is, she would insist that she doesn't have alzheimers and get mad at anyone who said otherwise. This became especially problematic when she wanted to drive or go anywhere. One time she lost her car keys and my uncle made the suggestion that my mother stole the keys. My grandma never let go of that claim even after the keys were found behind the bed.
Eventually we managed to get grandma alive and well to her 90th birthday, and while celebrated, the following year would prove when other family members expected to throw in the towel and consider their contributions to be done. We had hoped to finally have some time off to address some much needed surgery for my mother. Namely a knee joint that had a whopping 5 bone spurs, and a "Baker's Cyst" in one of her legs. But no one was willing to spare any time sufficient for this.
Grandma's medical situation worsened, mainly with her anger regarding appointments, not remembering events, and not having more energy. She started demanding more caffeine via coke and dietary pills. Thing is, if you're on blood thinners, you should NOT be having caffeine, yet she raises all hell should you refuse her, and of course my aunt and uncle have no concerns whatsoever. On that note, regarding medical appointments, it would be assumed that entrusting medical appointment dates and information should be given to the person who DOESN'T have alzheimers, right? And yet, every medical date, every change in perscription, every important fact was relayed to my grandma; the one most likely to forget that information. Yet another gesture to show how unwelcome we were.
This all continued throught the year, increasing in degrees in antagonizing my mother until recently, when to say frankly, we finally found some alternative housing. However we had assumed my aunt and uncle were all too eager to pick us out asap. Now they're wanting time to sort something out, and their plan is merely to have relatives go on rotation. Already my aunt has bailed on one of the rotations, and it's become clear that they don't want to be locked into an obligation to their own mother, since she's still alive and kicking. So while were in the home stretch, this might be the month, or even the week, when the worst of it all comes crashing down. I"m jsut hoping my mom's sanity survives all this.

For Commissioners/ Potential customers
Posted 2 years agoIt's that time again; wanting feedback from you guys! I've got a lot of sale ideas as is, both solo and collab sale ideas with Belise7, but hearing what you people want available is important to keep in mind. So ask away; what are you looking for commission-wise? Mention anything and everything you'd like to see!

Question for commissioners!

Right, so honestly, I've been having a LOT of potential sale ideas as of late. I kinda push for these things mainly to keep work from getting too stale, and to try and grow in some regard as an artist. But I kinda tend to neglect the business side of things, and especially with themed sales and collab sales, I can kinda get carried away with the prep work for said sales.
Anyway getting off track, but for all you who commission or are looking for commission options;
For a 1 character full body w. background;
---What do you feel is a fair price?
--- Is there a price range you feel is too much?
---On a scale of 1-10, how "worth it" do you feel my art is compared to the price?
Obviously this is not counting super complex characters or backgrounds, and I can't guarantee all feedback will be implemented. But I do want honest opinions here, no need to worry about offending me or getting backlash, anything is fair game here!

Question/discussion for people who play Tabletop/Wargamin...
Posted 2 years agoIf you're wondering about commissions, check the "Welcome to Toughset's" journal entry!
So many of you might not know, but my targeted profession is a game designer, specifically video games. But I"ve also wanted to make my own tabletop role playing or wargaming system for a while. Specifically because, while Warhammer 40k is great and all, it's also exhausting, both to play and to discuss. So naturally my approach was to make WH40k but with blackjack and hookers. But I defo don't have the time and organization to play all the different kinds of wargaming out there, so that's where you guys come in;
-For those of you who have played any kind of tabletop wargaming/grand strategy system, what was a mechanic you absolutely loved, and a mechanic you absolutely hated, and why?
NOTE; I"m NOT talking about situations where it was a DM or the opposing player that made things fun/un-fun, I"m talking about core mechanics, the stuff that you'd read about in a rulebook specifically!

ATTENTION COMMISSIONERS
Posted 3 years agoTO ALL COMMISSIONERS, CURRENT AND OTHERWISE
If you've sent in a note and I haven't responded to it yet, you're not being ignored, I just struggle mentally with too many orders, so at some point, I need to cut off commissions for a time until I get the current que done.
You're not being ignored, you're just in line ok?
ALSO
Trying to make room for an upcoming halloween sale. I think you guys are gonna like this one...

Just an update

Some of you might be wondering why the art's slowing down from me. Frankly I"m sorry on that end, but the fact of the matter is before, I only needed to feed myself. Now I"m feeding a family of four. Nevermind family drama, nevermind grandma's failing memory, nevermind my personal frustrations. I just simply am spread thin.
SO, with all that said, just want to say thank you to all the people ordering from the various themed sales, those help me out a LOT! There's also a tasty new themed sale arriving sometime within the week, so keep an eye out for that!
Also a special thank you to all the commissioners who actually bothered to read my commission menus and all the rules! (seriously, NOT doing that has to be one of the most infuriating insults I get on a weekly basis.)
FINALLY, just one last note... about notes; I DON'T IMMEDIATELY RESPOND TO NOTES. If I haven't responded, I'm not ignoring you or anything, but having a big commission list stresses me out, so I literally put a freeze on notes until I"M done with a current batch, then I take on more. AGAIN, If I haven't responded to your note, it's because I put a pause on notes. If your commission is declined, I will tell you directly. If you think I"m going to scam you, please look at my commission gallery archive of almost 10 years worth of orders as proof.
