I just kind of disappear for a bit. I'm still here, everything is fantastic. I just happen to have a new full time job, and in addition to that I'm working overtime there.

So it's just workworkworkworkworkSLEEP.

I will upload lineart of a commission I have soon, just as proof that I do in fact have it, and i am almost done with it. XD
It's just that whenever I try and color it, it doesn't look right at ALL so I've had to restart quite a few times.

I got a new job! I start Wednesday. :)

I already cleared out my stuff from 1800CONTACTS. I offered to finish out the week, but my manager said not to even bother. Fine by me. ;p

So I have A WHOLE WEEK OF NOTHING.

Right now I'm coloring a long overdue commission that I was supposed to color like, last week. >.>
My turnaround time on this stuff is horribly awful, and I have no excuse. But I do really like the lineart, so I'm hoping it will turn out really well in the end.

Man, I'm sleepy. And totally want some guacamole.

I'm really hoping by Monday I will have a new job. This week has been madness. This new place (SnugzUSA) has had me coming in for a trial period over the last couple days from 8 AM - 12 PM. Tomorrow is my last trial period. I think it's been going really well, but I'm SO NERVOUS that they're going to call my current job and my current job won't say good things about me due to issues with my manager (It's lame as hell, I won't get into it).
They already called my two references, but they both said great things about me. <3

SO. I'm like, holding my breath for this because I just want my job hunt to be OVER. I like this place a lot (it's probably a hell of a lot better than the other job I was moaning about not getting before) and let's face it, job hunting fucking sucks. Haha, my heart is racing from being so nervous. I CANT TAKE THE ANTICIPATION X____X

Got a call from the temp agency trying to get me hired at a job I wanted the most.

They didn't hire me because I had too much experience.... despite that I was calling EVERY day to try and get updates, sending thank you letters to people for their time, and just trying to show how much I wanted it. i wanted it SO bad... I wanted to yell into the phone at her when she said that and ask wtf is wrong with them??? They DONT want someone who has the right qualifications? They'd rather have some random person off the street come in and learn basic data entry skills?
Apparently they thought I wouldn't want to stay there in that position. :'(

Ugh... I wish it WAS because of something I did or whatever. This hurts pretty bad. I really had my heart set on it.. *sigh*...


Sorry to bitch and moan at you guys, it just really upsets me. I would have been perfect for that job, and it was everything I wanted (pay, location, tasks, etc).

I have another interview today but man, I don't even feel up to it anymore. This totally took the wind out of my sails.

Well, I had an interview today, and I think it went well. There was a minor concern about my attendance record, but I think i saved myself by writing it off as a learning experience and blahblah.
They wanted me back for a second interview on Monday. ;D

I'm also waiting to hear back from another job (one I want more, actually).... but either way, I will not have to be involved in sales for very much longer, thank God. Soul-sucking work, I tells ya.

They're leaving on Monday. It's been a blast, really. Today we're going out to the Bonneville Salt Flats for a bit. Should be fuuunnnn.

I've realized how hard it is to find stuff to do in SLC. No wonder I'm just some pothead. When I'm not looking for a job, that is. :p

Benny Benassi is coming here to preform in like TWO DAYS. And tickets are 40 bucks a pop. Too bad I just found out, and I ONLY have enough money for bills.

I went to the zoo today! I was able to get the dya off work, and it was pretty nice out, so the boy and I headed out for some fun.
I got a TON of pictures. All the animals (except the red panda...) were active and happy.
I even saw some very graphic penguin sex. o__o

We got some AMAZING Mexican food from The Blue Iguana, too. if you guys are in SLC ever, you gotta go there. They have great food, super reasonable prices, AND a kick ass vegetarian menu.
I hate when Mexican vegetarian stuff is just beans and cheese and cheese and cheese and sauce with cheese. XD


OH. AND.

Go hit up  tolbia for some great dollar icons! I'm rocking mine. It goes to help out her snake, which is a great cause. :)

Hi guys.

I dropped off the face of the Earth for a bit. It's really not as good as everyone says it is.
I'm having the usual love-hate relationship with art right now, so I don't know where things will go from here. I have a tendency to draw a bunch for a few months, then NOOTTHHIINNNGGGG for like, years.

But at least I'll be here to snoop around galleries again. :)

Still alive, just not active. I am working on things I owe people, but at a horrible slow pace. For some reason when I draw it's very forced lately, and it shows. ;/
