Beutiful & intriguing erotica blog
Posted 16 years agoJust ffffound this: http://ponyxpress.wordpress.com/
Aswesome, sweet stuff. Erotica/porn/fetish can be very inventive sometimes. And very beutiful aswell. I just wish more fur-pron artists would aspire to be inventive more often, instead of mulling the same poses over and over again... After all, furry pron can be virtualy unlimited by anything. Except by its narrowmindedness - so many copycats.
okay okay, i KNOW making an inventive spontaneus AND at the same time good drawing while having a hard-on isn't exactly easy - tunnel vision ensured. But hey, no pain, no gain.

VisualComplexity and Processing
Posted 16 years agohttp://www.visualcomplexity.com/vc/ - oooh, pretty networks!..
http://www.processing.org/ - This is a fun tool to play around with, often used for "sketching" stuff as seen in the above link. Pretty easy to learn, and it can export java scripts and even make .exe's. Easy artsy-fartsy code!if you want to try drawing with code (like here), this is probably the tool to start with.

Posted 16 years agoHow we evolve (Benjamin Phelan)
Posted 17 years agoThe article of culture as selective pressure (a positive feedback loop) for enhanced intelligence, aswell as our possible nemesis, denial and evidence of evolution that's yet to catch up to our change of life, natural selection in large populations, seeing racism where there is none, Human Genome project and its more important version - HapMap, several near misses with extinction, tenuous perch atop the food chain, finding ourselves wishing we'd lacked the intelligence to monkey with howitzers, and so on, and so on...
"Culture is not an escape from conditioning environments. It is an environment of a different kind."
It's a long, and possibly heavy, read. But it's worth it - it sums up alot of things very well.
And in case you don't find yourself dumbstruck after reading that, here's a shorter, lighter read on Art and evolution.
And plenty of interesting lectures dealing with art+science and the resulting ideas.

Her other works are quite worth checking out, aswell. She's my hero right now.
