[UPDATE] - Happy new year!! : D

Happy new year to all of you ! I wish you all health and prosperity for the coming year and hope you get success in your endeavors! <3
And aaa I've been away for a while x.x Did NOT notice the time go by like, at all. But fear not, I am alive and well :' ) Settling in my new job for the most part seeing how most of the important stuff I was able to accomplish once or twice so far (like doing the payrolls and monthly acounting and stuff). It is still quite new for me, but so far I like it and it's been doing good for me and my boyfriend's finances :' D so yeah
Aside from that tho, I really did not see any of november and december go by... time really flies! At least, I finally recovered weekends recently, which I hadn't had in the longest time x.x 40 hour job during the week, then work on saturday and art classes on sundays made for very busy all the time, but right now I have a bit of a rest until mid-january. Albeit I am wondering how long I will be doing this.
Anyways, all in all, just wanted to pop in and say hi ;v; I havent died and all is good. A little bit tired overall but nothing much in the happenings department o/

[UPDATE] some news on my life recently

Figured I could write you all a journal since all things are as close to official as they can be so...
I got moved to another location for work and with it came a substantial promotion !
Itll be a lot of work but it's fun. Im still learning much of it at the moment but I'm hopeful :'D
It also means that the couple past weeks, I was working two jobs and a half simultaneously ahah and will be for a while.
Once they find someone to replace me at the old place on weekends, I plan to do streams again on saturdays, however itll be to work on regular commissions. Especially since saturdays will pretty much be the only days Ill have available to draw. At least until I feel that everything is goinga smoothly at work ;v;/
So yeah im quite happy ! I feel that 2019 started pretty bad and all but its now looking hopeful for the future ~

Heya guys ! Update on stuff : )

Alright first sorry for the sudden silence the past two weeks x.x I went on vacation with a buncha friends for a week as a means to just disconnect ourselves, and for me to get some good rest just before starting work again !
Vacation was on the 18 of august to the 24th. After that, it was back to work ;v; I saw my doctor on the 12 of august and she gave me the go back to work papers which I gave to my job and we decided on the week of the 26 to start again ~
its been a lot of remembering how to do my job and learning the new stuff that got implemented since march ahah :' ) I am basically a bit dead.
I also seem to have caught a little infection on one of my toes during vacation so there's that inconvenience as well, but overall, I feel pretty good ! Stuff is getting back to normal and its dandy ~
Again just wanted to say sorry and explain why I disappeared for a little bit ;v; I really just wanted to disconnect with my boyfriend and friends for a week. After that, I figured work would kill all my stamina and motivation and energy once I returned.
Hope you have all been doing fine <3 Updates coming as soon as possible !
Also a small reminder, I tend to update stuff on my twitter much more often (altho mostly irrelevant, it somewhat shows what I am up to ;v; )

[UPDATE] - Leg Follow-up

Feels like a little while since the last update, as such, it'll be quick but it's to keep you all up to date with my condition ;v; /
Recently saw my doctor (june 10th) and I am at a point where my bone is fully healed and everything is properly healed up ;v; of course I'll keep the surgery scar but that was par for the run when I was told I would get surgery on my leg but yeah !
It's all healed, huzzah !
Still, my readaptation is going smoothly. Even if im healed up, doesnt mean I can walk or run or jump just yet, but we made progress there. I was told to stop wearing the boot and to start using only one crutch to start walking anew. Quite the sudden affair I tell ya x.x but I manage ! Since yesterday, I can manage a slow walk using one crutch. I'm still wobbly and weak and I can,t yet walk a lot of distance before being tired, but overall, it's going well !
I am seeing my doctor in 2 months from now, on august 12 and I assume this is when I'll get the notice to go back to work ;v; I can't wait ! Things are going well and I am getting better slowly but surely. In two weeks, I am supposed to stop using the crutches to walk at all, and I admittedly am very nervous about that but I have faith all will be fine ;v; So long as I practice walking abunch and do my exercise many times a day as instructed.
So yeah, that's all there is regarding my leg lately : D
Also gotta say sorry for the sudden week disapearance, many things happened that I had to follow. Boyfriend been helping a friend with her flower beds in front of her house (since he studied in horticulture), he also had a funeral to attend (his grandmother on his father's side passed away a while back, but the funeral was held last week-end), then his brother is back from british-colombia so we had a diner with him and his dad and grandfather (mother side). After that was my doctor appointment and then my physio the day after.
So yeah ;v; Spent a while away, but things should be quite stable for the next 2 months. Physio is mostly on tuesday mornings and friday mornings (which means Im away the night before and back right after physio) (I sleep at my friend/superior's house since she drives me to physio and she prefers to avoid the morning traffic)
But yeah overall, doing good o/

[UPDATE] - Follow-up on my broken leg

Feel like it has been a bit of time since I last kept you all up-to-date on my current condition o/
Had my follow-up this morning with the doctor who operated on my leg and overall, it's healing quite nicely ! I was told that starting this week, I'll have to start doing some light leg work and stretches to get started on my readaptation. Will be scheduling with the physiotherapist starting this week as well ! I talked with my boss, and she mentionned that it'll most likely be twice a week and she will look into booking the first appointment soon. It's a good thing that I worked as a receptionnist in a physiotherapy clinic ;v;
Anyways, it is going well and I am happy ! Had a little bit of a scare at first because I went for a scan before seeing the doctor, andwhen she looked at them she was not seeing somethign she liked so she sent me for an x-ray to get more details. In the end, all was fine and well ! If it hadn't I would have had to go back in surgery... Honestly, I was already mentally preparing myself for the possibility knowing my recent luck =v= I am glad I won't have to !
So yeah ~

As I said yesterday, I went and did the raffle pulls for the newly opened commission spots ! As a notice, I saw a few think there would be a stream, but there won't. I am in no state yet to stream properly, or at least, I don't feel like I'm well enough to stream just yet o/
This raffle was only to attribute the first spots opening for regular commissions ;v; /
Anyways, without further ado, I went and used my good ol' friend Random dot org, as I normally do for Streams and I attributed a number to the people going in order of top to bottom in the comment section of last journal !
Which was something like this : 1- Northwynd, 2- Bronx23, 3- KitonKurai, 4- Kuzfo , 5- Bluelights, 6- Fadey , 7- CrashNBash, 8- Saberleo456, 9- Aellynh, 10- Khyle, 11- DraconisMagnum
And the Winning numbers that got pulled from the random Number Generator waaaaaassss ....
11 - 4 - 6 !
Congrats to DraconisMagnum, Kuzfo and Fadey for winning this round ! And gettign the ball started o/
Going forward, Whenever I finish a commission and I post it here, it means a spot is open ! I won't keep a tally of who is interested because it would mean there's an invisible to-do list/queue and I feel it would be less fair for all parties involved. As such, I will also leave a comment on my to-do list journal whenever a spot is free'd saying that there is a free spot. In which the first person to comment can claim.
I'll try to post finished work at varying times in the day whenever possible as to give a much chances to all (because I know timezones are a thing ahah) Which can either be around morning, noon or night for me.
If something comes up with this system that I am unsatisfied with, I'll let you all know ;v; / Or if you guys think it might be problematic or have a better system to work around limited spots, let me know ! Its rare that I dont freely open like 20 spots at once x.x but with how it went last time.... I rather not repeat the same thing just in case !

I meant to open up sooner, but my follow-up last monday (april 8th) had me hurting for a few days but it is now time ! I am in the midst of working on the last remaining commission and I figured I should probably open up my slots in the meantime o/
First things first tho, I did a few changes to the price sheet ! It is important to review it as I did touch on the prices for Painted work and added a few informations about alternate versions of work and changes after completing a piece in the description box. In summary tho :
- I upped the prices of painted work due to how much time they can take me (well over 8 hours of work)
- After thinking long and hard about it, I will now be charging a small fee for alternate versions of images (exemples being nsfw + sfw versions)
- If a piece has been completed 100% and posted, but then later on get a request to make changes, there will be fees related to the type of changes.
That is all in summary, I hope you guys won't mind the changes too much ! Let me know if it sounds fair or not ;v; I do still value you guys input in all this ~
Also, as a side note, I opened up a Ko-fi a while back but never really did anything with it, so now, here it is !

This time, however I won't be opening up an infinite amount of slots, in fear of having sudden strenuous waiting time x.x I've learned that lesson ! No, I will be opening up only 4 slots at a time. I'll let you guys follow the To-Do List to know whenever spots are open. I will also be back to posting all art once its completed in my gallery, so there's that to help !
Since spots will be considerably limited, the way I'll work is I will raffle the first new batch ! Which will be 3 spots (since I am finishing the last commission of the last time I was opened but it still does take a spot).
Afterwards, it'll be first come first serve, as I free up spots, I will be accepting commissions.
For the raffle of this new round, just leave a comment on this journal, as you would for any stream spots, and I will do a raffle for the 3 spots tomorow around the same time (albeit it won't be a stream ! Just to clarify ;v; its for regular commission spots).

[UPDATE] - Surgery went fine ~

Giving you a quick update on my leg status ;v; Basically got surgery yesterday morning and everything went smoothly ! I was quite stressed since it was a first for me, but in the end there was nothing to fear except mild incomfort and slight pain.
When I say that its regarding the needles before surgery |D I say if you can avoid gettign needles in the back of the knee, do cause its no fun but its tolerable to a certain degree. At least im all good and recovering now !
Feet is starting to get sensations in it back so ill be getting more morphone for the next couple days, and slowly try to limit the need for them. It feels quite stiff tho with the metal plate and screws in it but i guess thats about it ;v; cants walk at all on it for the next 8 weeks or so from what I got told ;v;
Anyways ! That was a quick update ~

[UPDATE] - Not exactly good news

How have you all been doing ? ;v; Hope better than I have at the very least, ahah
I've some not great news to say, which boils down to : I broke my right leg last sunday.
Basically, I can't work for a while, will be getting some inssurances with my job and all so no worries on that front at the very least, but I'll be undergoing surgery on tuesday. Something along the lines of needing a steel plate and some screws to stabilise my foot until it heals properly. Not too sure what to expect since it's the first time I ever got hurt in my life and the first time I'll undergo any type of surgery. We will see =v= /
Good thing in the meantime is, I manage to get a set-up mroe or less comfortable enough so that I can draw while I recover. Doesn't mean I'll be streaming more often, but I'll try to get in a bit more drawing time in between sleeping and eating and resting. I'm also under medecine half the time so yeah.
For now I'm still in the worst of it, and tuesday will definitely prove challenging, but yeah, had to let you guys know at the very least ;v;
And no worries, I have my boyfriend and good friends around if needed to help me out with stuff o/

[UPDATE] - Some news ! and stream ???

Its been quite some time, again x.x, but I finally have an afternoon at home for the first time in a while. Quite a lot has happened, but overall its just been hella busy. Work has had a lot of schedule changes and impromptu overtime. Some drama between some coworkers and then me filling out all the in-between shifts. Its come to be so unpredictable that I recently gave up volunteer work because of that : / oh well
Anyways, im not here to complain, but im here to get a stream up tonight ! Just some chill and continue working on commissions. I might be a little bit rusty but I couldnt sit down for a while to draw and I've missed it.
I am ever so sorry again for all the waiting and the slow pace x.x Have not meant for this to take so long and it'll still be a while till I can finally catch up.
Until the end of March, it'll be sparse and few but by then, I may become a part-timer since one of the previous girl who worked there shoudl be coming back (she was on sick leave for burn-out and im not sure on the details of her coming back but it'll be somethign for sure) So I will see what happens with my hours.

So, I have a few good news to tell you o/ The first one is that I will be starting volunteer work at a hospital next week ! Looking forward to it so much <3 not sure of what the schedule will be, but I know I start on the 28th : D !
Also, I will be doing more art classes next semester too : ) Been planning the new class schedule with the other two teachers, to see what will be the best course of action as well as prepare new course plans o/
Me and a friend finally got our butts in gear and saw a nutritionnist, to plan our meals to try and lose some weight. We shall see how it goes but so far, the first week is good (altho its the first day xD Ill be screaming ''im hungry'' by tomorow im sure)
and I will be getting more work hours since one of the girls they hired around the same time as me is gettign fired. Its sad, but that also means more hours to me so... conflicting emotions are conflicting... =v=
Anyways, here comes the less fun news... I think I will be dismissing the sunday streams for a while. I have a hard time managing my time with work and volunteering, and keeping almost an entire day for streaming, when I could be working on my to-do list more instead makes me feel guilty. It also gets harder and harder to plan my chores, buy food and necessities and etc when I have to block time off my week.
I love you guys, and it tears me appart to have to stop doing streams for a bit but I ought to x.x I really have too much to catch up on, and with my new engagements, it cuts even more into what time I have during the week to do all I need.
I won't stop doing comms, altho I am aware that my work speed is about less than an hour a day as of late. If all goes well, I will stream for a couple hours tomorow for the last time in a while, just to finish a stream piece I hadn't finished two weeks ago (mostly due to bad timing but still...
Anyways, I wanted to let you guys know that and not to expect any streams for a bit. Hopefully, I'll get things back in order soon, but again, keep in mind, I have less than an hour a week since the past 3 months, to do anything at home, wether commissions of for myself.
I also dont want you guys to worry about me, as I am not driving myself to a burn out, ;v; just accomplishing what I must do to eventually settle ~
anyways ! Sorry guys for all of this and I hope you understand x.x Thank you so much for all the patience too !

I accept 3 commissions total ~ Here is how it goes down :
- Spots will be given randomly, so comment on this journal to let me know of your interest. I will pick the winners using a randomizer and notice the ''winners'' 30 minutes before stream. A journal will be written with the winners announced in it too o/
- Winers in the previous stream will not be allegible to be picked in the current stream. There should be a skip of at least one stream before you can participate again.
- I will handle the commission taking before the stream.
- Send me all the information in a note when I give you the ok, along with your paypal.
- Payment should be sent when I start working on your commission, otherwise I can decide to not proceed with the art until paid.
- Two characters maximum per stream sketch. The usual +1/2 price applies here.
- Backgrounds will not be charged for stream sketches.
- I will not accept any character creation-type of art (ex: lenghty text descriptions of a character or request of a certain type of creature with a specific palette, etc)
- Pertaining to the above rule, all art I make must have a character reference already.
- Since the spots are limited, only ask for one slot.
- You CANNOT gift your spot to someone else for any reason, wether with good intentions or not. If you ask for a spot, be aware that you have to either concede it or take it. If you concede, I will randomly chose someone else.

Stream will bea bit late today but should happen somewhere between 3 and 4 pm o/ Considering making it a two day stream kind of cause I forgot that I had longer class today ;v; woops! Anyways, see you guys later o/

Also, I haven't given it consideration much yet this week, but I am looking into getting a mod for the chat during streams o/ if you guys have an input on how I shoudl proceed to choose someone for the task, let me know ! I frankly have no idea as I never had to before x.x but after the last stream I think it'd be good to. I also dont want to impose a task on someone and thats the hardest part x.x If any of you have experience in chats where they picked a mod, let me know how they did : o it would be very appreciated ~

Also, I haven't given it consideration much yet this week, but I am looking into getting a mod for the chat during streams o/ if you guys have an input on how I shoudl proceed to choose someone for the task, let me know ! I frankly have no idea as I never had to before x.x but after the last stream I think it'd be good to. I also dont want to impose a task on someone and thats the hardest part x.x If any of you have experience in chats where they picked a mod, let me know how they did : o it would be very appreciated ~

- Backgrounds will not be charged for stream sketches.
- I will not accept any character creation-type of art (ex: lenghty text descriptions of a character or request of a certain type of creature with a specific palette, etc)
- Pertaining to the above rule, all art I make must have a character reference already.
