Today was a mess
Posted a month agoI don't post here on FA often, but something has happened that I simply don't want to keep quiet about. It started out as any normal day. I wake up, shower, get ready for work, and then leave at a good time to make it on time. Well today, that routine was tested. Because when I got to work, I discovered that the police had blocked off the area because of an active shooter threat. It happened before I got there, so I am not hurt, and at the time the police had apprehended them, but I had to find another way in.
My roommate and I putz around for about an hour before they gave us clearance to enter and get to work, so that's what we did.
There wasn't anything too eventful for the rest of the day, but when I got done I found that there were three confirmed deaths, and at least three more injured or in critical condition (including the shooter himself, as he had been shot by the security team and a local police officer)
Needless to say, the mood of today has been a real downer, but I'm doing alright.
Thank you for reading, and my heart goes out to all parties involved.

BLFC 2024
Posted 10 months agoHello FA. I know it's been a while since I posted anything. The last thing I posted was my rant about the negative opinion of furries and the whole debacle surrounding the site, but I'm not here to talk about that today.
I attended a local furry convention called Biggest Little Furry Convention (BLFC for short) which takes place annually at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
Now this is not technically my first time being at the convention, but it is my very first time purchasing a pass and being a part of the convention, and I have to say that I had a really great time.
They had games, live entertainment, a Wings of Fire panel, a whole bunch of really cool merchandise and artwork, and overall a fun and friendly atmosphere, especially the people in the fur suits just coming together to have a good time.
I was dressed as one of the most popular Sonic the Hedgehog characters, Miles "Tails" Prower, which happened to be a onsie costume with a hood and shoe covers to make me look like the iconic character. (The costume kit didn't include his iconic white gloves, as those were sold separately, but I did have them.)
So if you happened to see me there, then I wish you a very friendly hello and hope you have a wonderful day.

Welcome back to FA
Posted a year agoI'm really glad that this website is back online, and knowing the full story of what went on behind the scenes still appalls me. I really don't know what the person's end goal was, but I don't really care. The point is I will forever despise this person for what he/she attempted to do, and he/she should be ashamed of themselves.
As far as I'm aware, it was a direct attack on the furry community as a whole, and all the negative beliefs towards them. Most of which are absolute rubbish, and many of them I don't even know where they come from. Furries, like theme park mascots, are ordinary people in costumes likely just trying to make a living. Many of them love what they do, and it's also a very colorful and picturesque community. So my point in all of this is there's really no reason to act like entitled brats at the mere prospect of a furry.
Most of the rumors that are floating around surrounding them aren't true anyway. You can literally just ask any furry and they will tell you that it's a bunch of hogwash.
I'm sorry if this turned into a rant, but it really grinds my gears when people think they can get away with this, consequence free. Just because you don't like furries, does not give you the right to defame and slander them. The same goes for left-handed people, gays, lesbians, and other people with difficulties related.
I'll wrap this up by saying I'm glad everything is back up and running and back to normal. If you are a furry, you will always have my eternal respect for putting up with the negativity. I love the community, I love the colorful and creative costumes and characters that have spawned from it. I love the atmosphere, and I don't really care what goes on behind the scenes because it's not my business, nor is it my problem. I don't need that kind of drama and I'm perfectly content with that. So just keep on doing what you love and I hope things get better.
Thank you.

The Vore Hotline (Vore RP prompt)
Posted 4 years agoThis is an RP prompt. PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY TO THE END AND DO NOT FAVE UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING.
PREMISE
You heard of a hotline service that you can go to send you either a predator or a prey (with options to switch between both), with someone of the opposite job. All one has to do is call and answer a few questions.
You just have to answer a short questionaire before getting started.
Are you going to be playing as a prey or pred from the start?
Are you male or female?
What kind of creature are you going to be (any creature is fine, but large creatures such as dragons or griffins are reserved ONLY for preds)
The following questions are for prey only:
Are you going to be giving yourself up willingly?
Are you going to make your predator chase you and work for it?
Are you willing to let your predator digest you and then reform you afterwards?
What kind of creature do you want to be eaten by (same-size, furry, macro, and large creatures are welcome)
Yes, you are allowed to swap between roles at will.
RULES
Player and character have to be 18 or older.
No NSFW (18+) content (Nudity, sexual innuendos, excessive profanity etc. NOTE: THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED)
Oral vore only (That means through the mouth. Any other kinds are strictly forbidden)
A background check will be performed on your character off screen. (This is only for plot reasons and doesn't hold any bearings)
The setting is open for debate and can be anything depending on the characters chosen.
The character you choose to use and the answers you give for the questions will determine the character I use. NOTE: You are NOT allowed to fully make my character and tell me the name or build. You can give me some basic information and I can work from there.
RP can be done through Discord or other places that are up for debate.
To show me that you have read and understand my rules, please type "A vore hoteline? This might be interesting." at the top of your comment.
Thank you and have a nice day.

In the Den of Dragons
Posted 5 years agoThis is an RP prompt. Only reply if you're interested.
DO NOT FAVORITE UNLESS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING!!
Your parents always warned you not to go wondering into strange lands or you may find yourself in front of something you can't handle. While you and your parents are exploring one day and you fall into a chasm. They try to get you out but you're in too deep and they can't reach you, and any rescue attempt is useless. So eventually they're forced to leave and leave you for dead. If you survive it's a miracle, but it doesn't seem likely, even to you.
You of course do survive and find a solid foothold to try to to find a way back to the surface. With only one way to go you follow the path not knowing where it may lead until you come to a den of dragons that lied deep underground. You count at least twelve and are scared. With no other way you have to make your way through the cave without waking any of the dragons knowing full well that you could easily be lunch.
RULES
Must be 18 or older to participate (I will check your page to confirm if you're interested)
No NSFW content (profanity, nudity, sexual innuendos, etc)
Only control your own characters (you can tell me what my characters will see, hear, smell, but you CAN'T determine how they will react to it.)
The RP can be done through either Notes, Journal comments, or Discord (ask first on that one)
Give me enough information to work with. But in the event that you are unable to come up with something and want more information, simply type "(keep going)" Yes WITH the parenthesis.
To ensure that you have read and understand my rules, please type "I'm lost underground," at the top of your comment along with a brief description of your character.
Thank you.

The Diver and the Dragon
Posted 5 years agoThis is an RP prompt.
DO NOT FAVORITE UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING.
You are a diver exploring some deep lake, or ocean with some friends. An unknown current sweeps you from your friends and you start to fear for your life, especially when you realize you're low on air in your scuba tank. You know you don't have enough to make it to the surface so you hope to find an underwater cave. The nearest cave isn't close enough and you run out of air and lose consciousness. When you wake up you're in an underwater cavern and there is a dragon sitting beside you. He saved you from drowning, but you're unsure if you can trust him.
RULES
Must be 18 or older to participate
Your character can be anything (humanoid, furry, quadruped, or any other creature you can come up with, and how you got there is entirely up to you (but not an aquatic creature. That's my role) And there is no limit to the number of characters you can play as. (Yes, this means you can have more than one character be swept up in the current)
Absolutely no NSFW content (that means nudity, depictions of female or male genitalia, or sexual innuendos. While I have no objection to it in general, this is not the place for it)
Please minimize foul language. (I will allow it in short bursts, but don't make it super excessive and offensive)
OCs are preferred, but pop culture characters can be used as well, but only as brief cameos (they CAN contribute to part of the main story, but they CANNOT be a sole focus)
Vore, which is the act of eating or being eaten by another is completely optional. (Please tell me up front if you're interested in doing that)
To prove that you have read and understand my rules, please type "The Diver and the Dragon," at the top of your comment along with a brief description of your character.
The RP can be done through Notes, journal comments (starting a new thread every so often), or Discord (must provide that information yourself IN A PRIVATE NOTE, if you wish to do that)

The Griffin King (RP Prompt)
Posted 5 years agoRP Prompt #3
The Griffin King
DO NOT FAVE UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING!
Vore optional (The act of eating or being eaten by another creature, does not have to conform to realistic physics)
SETTING: A fantasy world in an area dominated by griffins
SCENARIO
You are an explorer traveling through a thick jungle or forest and you soon come to an ancient castle seemly carved into the rock face. You have previously heard of such a place and go over to investigate, but you're scared of what you might find inside, especially if the master of the castle isn't pleasant.
Despite your fear you approach and find that the castle is far bigger than any human castle could ever hope to be, and there seems to be the smell of nest feathers all over the place. Once you get far enough inside you realize that the castle belongs to a bunch of griffins. You're terrified, but they aren't interested in turning you into their next meal...Yet.
RULES
Must be 18 or older to participate
Your character can be anything you want, even furries are welcome. Just so long as you keep whatever power and abilities they have balanced. (In other words no Anime-levels of power that could destroy an entire planet with one blast for example. Nothing that extreme)
Pop culture characters are allowed to make appearances as background characters, but they are not allowed to be a part of the main story.
Vore is optional (through the mouth only, no other fetishes allowed)
Can be done in either script or paragraph format (I'm not picky)
If you have read and understand my rules, then please type "The Griffin King," at the top of your comment along with a brief description of your character (visual references are optional)
The RP can be done in many ways. Here on FA in comments (A new journal will be posted with that information.), on DA (name is the same there and the prompt is there as well), or Discord (please provide contact information if you choose that)

No NSFW content (nudity, sexual innuendos, profanity etc. Keep it PG-13)

The Dragon in the Desert RP Prompt
Posted 5 years agoHi there everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything to FA, but I decided to start posting some more stuff here. I do RPs if anyone is interested and this is the very first one I thought of. Please read if you're interested.
DO NOT FAVORITE UNLESS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING!
The Dragon in the Desert
SETTING: Deep in the desert (but otherwise modern day)
You are a human, part of a traveling caravan, in a big desert. You're more or less used to the desert conditions, but somehow get separated from your group in a massive sandstorm, bigger than anything you'd ever experienced before, so you have to go and find shelter. You know your caravan won't come looking for you, as it would only waste time and resources and everyone must do their part to make sure the supplies they're carrying make it safely to their destination.
Unbeknownst to you a desert dragon (played by me) is watching your every move. Not because he's interested in lunch, but because he has seen this kind of thing quite a bit and wants to help. So when you stop at an oasis to get some water for your canteens the dragon shows himself
RULES
Must be 18 or older to participate
Your character can be any creature you want with any powers you want, but please keep them balanced in terms of power. No super powerful "I can destroy the planet or your sanity in one shot," powers. I don't want this turning into an Anime RP.
Pop Culture characters are allowed to make appearance as background characters, but they ARE NOT allowed to be a part of the main plot. (In other words OCs are preferred.)
No NSFW content (nudity, sexual innuendos, profanity, etc. Keep it at PG-13)
If you have read my rules and agree to them, then please type "The Dragon in the Desert," at the top of your comment and provide me with a brief description of your character.
The RP itself can be done in many methods (like here on FA <first time doing so, willing to experiment>, Discord <provide contact details>, or Private Notes.

Posted 5 years agoI haven't been using FA much because I find DA a lot easier to navigate.
Anyway because of the ongoing pandemic I've been stuck at home for almost four weeks now and I"m really bored. So I'm open for commissions, requests, RPs, or if you just want to chat about random crap.
If you're interested, please send me a personal message with a basic idea (and tell me what you're requesting) and we'll brainstorm to iron out the details.
I can also do trades where I do something for you if you're willing to do something for me in return.
With all that said, I hope everyone has a good day.

Don't use FA anymore
Posted 6 years agoYea. I haven't been posting to FA in a while simply because I find using DA to be much easier. I'm not closing my account here though, as I will still look at art and comment on it and such like that, but I doubt I will post anything new. For those who want to see my stuff, find me on DA. Name is the same.

Happy New Year
Posted 7 years agoAnd thus 2017 comes to a close, and what a year it was.
I got a job at DQ, which I lost two months later. I started having trouble with my laptop, and had it slowly die on me. (It officially kicked the bucket in early December.
I lost my keys at the Great Reno Balloon Races in September, but still had a great time at the event itself.
Then I got a new job, and I plan to hold onto it.
And to wrap it all up, I went to SEVERAL different shows in the closing months of the year.
These acts include Joan Jett and Blackhearts (A free concert for Hot August Nights, ventriloquist/comedian Jeff Dunham (Which was made possible by my older brother), A Capella group Straight No Chaser (Also because of my brother), and finally Borealis, a Holiday Spectacular (a holiday themed Cirque show, for which I received two free tickets for working at the place in question)
Unfortunately, the year was full of just as many hardships as it has good moments. We lost musician Tom Petty, and a few other notable people who I cannot remember off the top of my head.
Here's to a great 2018.

9/11
Posted 8 years agoFor those of you who are Americans like me, you may already know what the day of September 11 means.
For those of you that don't, it means another year has passed since the infamous terrorist attack on the United States of Ameria. The twin towers at the World Trade Center were rammed with airplanes, and so was the Pentagon. Thousands of innocent civilians lost their lives, Today marks year 11.
Despite the tragedy that took place on 9/11 eleven years ago, I hope you enjoy your day regardless.

The Last Guardian
Posted 8 years agoA little while ago, my buddy KM and I went to our Local GameStop after we had failed to get a Nintendo Switch, due to them being sold out on day one. KM decided to add to his game collection instead and he got some very notable games, such as Duck Tales Remastered, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Ratchet All 4 One, and the topic of this journal, The Last Guardian.
Now, I will say right now that I love a game with beautiful artwork, and I can appreciate the details that can be displayed, and I love seeing the world of someone else's imagination come to life right before my eyes. It's one reason why I play video games. It isn't always for an engaging story, or smooth controls. Sometimes I want a game that's absolutely gorgeous as The Last Guardian delivers.
I had played Shadow of the Colossus beforehand, which is from the same team, and while I agree the world was beautiful and desolate, as it was supposed to, I don't see it as a game I'll go back to because it just seemed like a glorified Boss Rush, and there's very little reason to come back.
But I'm not here to go on a tangent, I'm here to present my thoughts on this game.
PRESENTATION
The presentation of The Last Guardian, especially any outdoor sections where there are trees and foliage is absolutely stunning, and there are some days when I'm visiting my buddy that I would just love to turn the game on to one of the beautiful outdoor areas and leave it one. The team made the world so realistic and beautiful that it actually felt like a living, breathing world that you could actually reach out and touch. So that gets 10/10
STORY
You play as an unnamed boy who wakes up next to a large feathered beast, which can be described as a Chimera, as it is a fusion of many different creatures. It's got bird talons, a face like a dog, and wings of an eagle, and the size of a griffon, and goes by the name of Trico. It's a journey of discovery, bonding, and all that. The story did just what it was supposed to do: Keep me engaged until I saw it through to the end. Once I started, I found it very hard to put down, and I don't want to spoil anything else. The story gets an amazing 10/10.
CONTROLS AND CAMERA
This is where the game falls down a little bit. While I get the fact that it's made a bit more realistic on purpose, to make it more of a cinematic platformer, I did have a few hiccups with it, especially when Trico didn't do what I wanted him to do when I wanted him to do it. However, I don't see this as a deal breaker, because you do get used to the controls after a while and Trico will eventually help you progress, since you need him all throughout the game.
The camera's at its worst in tight corridors, where it seems to be blocked constantly by either a wall, your character, or Trico. There are some other means to use the camera to compensate for this, but it's still annoying when it happens.
I give that part a 7/10
OVERALL
I really enjoyed The Last Guardian from start to finish. It was a great game where you run around and slowly figure out what you're supposed to do to move on. Some of the puzzles are kind of cryptic, and others are pretty straight forward. There are also several points in the game where you may be forced to take a leap of faith, especially when Trico won't cooperate otherwise, but you do get infinite lives, and the game is generous with its checkpoints, so that's not a major problem.
So, overall, I give The Last Guardian an excellent 9/10.
This game spent 9 years in development hell, and while I may not have been that interested in it when it first came out, my interest peaked when another buddy suggested I give it a try because of its story. So I'd say it was worth the wait. The camera could have been handled a little bit better, and Trico's AI script could have stood to be altered a little bit to where he'll more likely obey your commands when you need him to rather than going off to do his own thing, but I suppose that's a minor complaint.
Anyway, that's it.

MLB World Series
Posted 9 years agoI'm not sure how many of my watchers watch or even care about professional baseball, but this year marked a momentous occasion. It was up against two teams who had not won, let alone made it to the World Series in a very long time. The teams in question were the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians.
The former team hadn't won it in over a century, while the latter hadn't won in over 40 years.
While I didn't watch the game in its entirety, I did hear the news that the Cubs took it this year.
So Back to the Future did predict that they would eventually win the championship, but if that portion of the film had just been set one year later, it would have been spot on. Oh well. Not all dreams come true.
Well done Cubs.

Happy Halloween
Posted 9 years agoWell, it's the time of tricks and treats once again. I hope everybody had a great Halloween, and had fun dressing up, giving out candy, watching scary movies, whatever you like doing on this holiday.
I hope you had a good time either way.

R.I.P. Gene Wilder
Posted 9 years agoWe seem to be losing celebrities left and right this year. We've already lost three that I can name in early 2016. We lost Alan Rickman, Christopher Lee, and Leonard Nimoy.
Now we've lost another Hollywood great who I'm sure many people remember. We've lost Gene Wilder.
This man has been acting for a very long time, and has been in some of my favorite films. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, The Producers (The original), and I'm sure he's been in several others. All of them are great.
It realy hurts when we lose such a fantastic actor. He died of Alzheimer's disease at the age of 83.
There will never be another actor like him, as nobody can ever replace him.
Anyway, I've said all I need.
R.I.P. Mr. Gene Wilder.

Just an update
Posted 9 years agoSo, I want to make a quick update on what's been going on. First, my computer has been repaired a while ago, and I'm back to using it on a regular basis. I don't plan to post much on this site that I don't already post to DA, so if you want to see my work, look over there, but there is another thing I want to bring up.
This is something that's been going on with my friends here on FA, DA, and even in a Skype group that I'm a part of. Now, I don't know all the details, but I have gathered that this person, I'm not going to name who, got kicked out of the group. I don't know the reason for this, and I don't WANT to know the reason. I do know that after the fact that this guy wouldn't leave my buddy alone, nor would he leave the other members of the group either. He was acting like a big baby and even got on MY case, BEGGING to be let back into the Skype group.
Let me get one thing straight, and I have had to do this numerous times. IF YOU GET KICKED OUT OF A GROUP FOR ANY REASON, UNLESS YOU HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, YOU ARE NOT BEING ALLOWED BACK!! NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PLEAD, WHINE, AND BEG, IT JUST AIN'T HAPPENING!!
You're wasting your time if you think we are going to do what you say just so you'll be happy is NEVER going to happen.
And if you're that person I'm talking about in this journa, or might become like thatl, do yourself a favor and just drop it. DO NOT create a second account to try to contact us again. DO NOT bug and harass us to make you happy. JUST DROP IT AND LEAVE US ALONE!!

Technical difficulties
Posted 9 years agoYea, I'm experiencing technical difficulties with my laptop. I don't know how long it'll be out of commission, but I am actively trying to fix it. I may have an idea of at the very least recovering the data I had on the hard drive. I have a portal drive, and if I can pull the drive, I can transfer the data to a different computer, minus the crucial system information anyway.
That's all for now. It may be a while before I can get it working again, so I won't be active as often.

This attack on FA
Posted 9 years agoYou know, it seems that FA seems to be more vulnerable than the other art sites I've visited on the internet lately. And the forced password change didn't really help matters either.
I don't even upload to this page all that much, I prefer DA because it's a lot easier to use and navigate, and I feel confident that my account and stuff is safe there. That doesn't mean that I'm leaving FA though.
Still, for my fans here who want to keep track of my artwork, I'm on DA.

Scaler
Posted 9 years agoAnyone ever play a relatively obscure game on the PS2 called Scaler? Well, I just did, and what did I think of it? It's a very fun game, but it's really short. I beat it in only a week.
I will admit that it's not my favorite game in the world, but it had a lot of charm to keep it interesting. You play as a boy turned into a lizard named Bobby Jenkins, who goes by his alter ego name of Scaler. He can manipulate static electricity stored in his body for a devastating attack.
Now, this is a PS2 game, and a lot of really good titles that had a lot of potential just got left in the dust. This is one of those games. At the end, it seemed like it was setting up for a sequel that never happed, and I can honestly say that I don't think it's going to get one.
Shame too. I really enjoyed this game, but there were a lot of annoying moments that I really couldn't care less about. For instance, there are these annoying enemies late in the game that pop up out of instant death pits that you can't see coming. Seriously, why does every platforming game EVER have enemies like that.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this game. It seemed like it could have gotten recognition next to the other Playstation greats such as Spyro the Dragon, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank. I know that Playstation has a lot of mascot franchises, and that's because of its large 3rd party support.
I highly recommend Scaler if you ever find it in a store.
It gets a very respectable 7/10

A touching story
Posted 9 years agoI enjoy reading heartwarming stories like this. If you hate bullies, or people think nothing is going to go their way, then you should really check this out. http://buzztache.com/the-painful-truth/
Somewhat inactive
Posted 9 years agoFor those of you wondering why I haven't been updating this page that often is because I've been updating DeviantART a lot more. I find it to be a lot easier to navigate than this site. However, I have heard rumors that DA may be changing to where it no longer allows vore art, RPs, stories, etc and will ban anyone who ever has, or is posting vore artwork regularly, and I think it's a stupid idea. I mean, I can understand making it so children cannot view the more adult artwork, such as sexual innuendos, vore, and other sexual fetishes, but I do have to question the consistency of that. I mean, if it's not physically hurting you, then don't worry about it. If you don't like it, there's no law saying you have to look at it.
Niow, I definitely understand that it's not for everyone, but really? Blocking someone for showing off their fantasies? Whatever happened to freedom of expression? This is art. Sometimes sexuality is just a part of that, I mean just look at all the art of naked people out there. The Sistine Chapel, The Thinker, and others.
Those are really well-known pieces of art that may or may not have sexual ties, and DA's planning to remove that?
Sometimes I don't know what to think anymore. Anyway, I just wanted to get that out there. Thanks for reading.

Q
Posted 9 years agoWow. 2015 is over already, and what a year it was. I went to several live shows this year including Tap Factory, a tap-dancing show with elements of Stomp and the Blue Man Group, saw Rockapellea, an A Capella group who gained fame for performing the theme song from the children's game show Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego? T then got a job working for the Nevada Wolf Pack, at the University of Nevada Reno, then took my buddy KM to a Cirque show called Furia at the GSR, and finally to wrap it all up, my brother and I went to see the hard rock band Queensryche.
What a fun year it has been. It's had its up and down moments, but overall it was a fun year.
Let's hope 2016 is even better.
