Well... six months in I thought I'd shout out and say that the new job has been a little weird.
I went to work for one company in a certain role, but that fell through and I was seconded to a second company... who are loving my work so much they want to take me from company numder 1!!!
Problem for them though... is that Company 1 loves me so much that they wanna take me back from company 2... they just gotta figure out what role they want to give me xDDD

Posted 13 years agoRecently went to Melbourne for a concert. Flew by plane and all that and it reminded me of an old friend... one that I actually appreciated as a genuine friend. Anyways: The first time I had been on a plane was to help him move from NT to Sydney, so yeah... memories kinda flooded back and I realised that missed talking to him.
We had a huge falling out and parted ways, not having spoken since then. I know the chance that he'd read this is slim to none... but I have to say that I do miss him and I really regret what had happened. If it could be undone I'd undo it in a heartbeat.
Heh... it's a shame I'm too much of a chickenshit to actually send him a note/msg to him directly...
So yeah...
if that slim chance that you read this...
and if you do; I'm sure you can guess that it's you...

Job Shenanigans!!!
Posted 13 years agoWell... about a month ago I got an email from an old boss (2 years ago xD) and he just said that he's looking to build a new support team. Would I be interested in working with him again? Right?
Well~ I figured: Working with him again would be awesome! He's a fun guy. But: where I was right now was pretty damn secure, had good pay and the guys there weren't too bad either. But I figure what the hell - I'll check in and ask about it.
Today we met up at a pub, had a drink and chatted. Job sounded pretty damn good, but the fact that it was on the other side of the city and that it wasn't good enough to move just based on the activities involved made me decide not to take it.
Then he pulled out the big one. My pay? He's gonna match what I'm currently earning + 40% increase.
Needless to say: I gagged on my drink and wanted to sign the contract there and then!
However, before I do that: I need to tell my current employer I want to leave by late-march ~_~ which is gonna be a shit since he just paid 6 grand for specialised training. Hope it doesn't make me a greedy s.o.b but when you're looking to buy a house within a year and payrise of this magnitude will really help secure that 3 bedroom cottage instead of a 1 bedroom apartment x3
So hooray for 2012!!! :D

Posted 14 years agoGonna finally start doing shit I've been saying I will do for ages... and I'm letting go of old ties and old assumptions... I've been tossed to the side by too many things/people in life now that I'm gonna start looking after myself.
Going to finally start legit parkour training either tomorrow or next weekend...
Going to work my way up to being fit to sign up for the Police Force...
Already started getting my arse out of bed at 6am... hopefully another week of this and I'll be ready to start a morning routine of exercise before work
Also... and this is random...
Anyone know someone who could teach me Russian? xD I wanna learn :3

Due to a technicality (apparently having your front tyre next to a cars rear tyre counts as lane splitting), a difference of opinion (It was peak hour and it's a dodgy intersection... yet I'm still to be busted) and my own absent mindedness (forgot to move my plates to the new bike x3); I have now exceeded my 7 point limit on my Riders licence...
Which means I'm gonna lose my ability to ride for around 3 months... which some of you might know: you may as well cut off my legs! its that much a part of me.
Luckily I still have my car licence... but no car... and I hate driving!!! xD

Hard to tell. I eat 2.5 decent sized meals a day... he just eats snacks all day xD
