Quick update end of 2018
General | Posted 7 years agoHello all,
I'm still alive, just been very busy this year and my artwork has stalled for a long time. I may have some spare time this Christmas holidays to finish off some of my art that's been in limbo. I'm armed with Manga Studio so no problems there!
From discovering new channels on YouTube, it's been a rollercoaster of a year. At one point I was convinced everything had hit an all-time low but it bounced back stronger than ever. Also, I've found an awesome new hobby that is combat robots, and the live events in the UK are awesome! There's too much to put into one journal so I'll leave the details out for now.
Wishing everyone a good Xmas and new year, fresh start :D

Christmas and Slowdown
General | Posted 9 years agoHello all,
The last few months have been busy at work, much more so than usual. I usually end up on Fridays collapsing at home x_x and then the weekend is full of other stuff. As a result progress is very slow, but I do have some artwork close to completion.
I purchased Manga Studio for the PC and love it! Hoping to get more used to it soon, but it has definitely helped with speed and quality of artwork. When I do get a bit of dead time I have so many ideas to put on paper. Most likely I will have some spare time this Xmas holiday.
As for Christmas itself, it is one of my favourite times of the year. I stuff myself with food and celebrate with family and friends ^^ helps with my winter hibernation tendencies.

Scaly October
General | Posted 9 years agoHello all,
I've settled in to the new place, but then work happened. I'm at a critical stage and the next few months will be busy, tailing off in December as I have saved my remaining holidays for Christmas x_x
In other news, this month I have never seen so much good scaly artwork in one go, it's incredible. It's as if I commissioned the pieces myself. This feels double special as it is the month of my birthday ^^
Artwork wise, it's been quiet but I am getting ready to work on helping design my first and probably only partial fursuit, I'm very excited about this as it's a new step for me.
That's all for now :)

Hiatus - Moving House (Again!)
General | Posted 9 years agoHello all,
The year contract for the flat rental is almost up, my flatmate and I wanted to move on and go to a different place. There are a few annoying things about parking and noise levels at night, the nail in the coffin was the £100 'contract renewal' which I have never heard before in my life x_x
So I'm busy rushing around organising my stuff to move again. That means I will likely close commissions and requests for now. To add insult to injury, I suffer from hayfever in June and July which is a constant pain to deal with. It's a shame because I like the warm weather ^^
Still, I will likely still lurk around on FA and comment every now and then, just to keep the submissions down to a reasonable level.

Confuzzled 2016
General | Posted 9 years agoNow that I'm back to reality after an awesome weekend, I will try to summarise the whole convention.
After going for a day in 2015, I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to do the whole weekend. I did not regret that decision one bit - the con was awesome, and not only did I catch up with some people from last year, I met a lot of new friends! The events were well spaced out, and there was plenty of time for drinking and socialising during the evening.
Particular highlights for me were Uncle Kage, Rhubarb and Kosmik Ruin Everything, and of course the pub quiz and all the British humour/bad jokes. It was a privilege to meet Miles-DF and Danza among other artists in the Dealer's Den. It was a shame to leave it all behind, would have probably done a whole week if it was on that long.
Thanks to all the people that made the convention so memorable, and I will forever remember the night of the furry-themed Tarot cards and the drinking games that followed :P Might decide to try a different country next year!

Latest Updates and Holiday
General | Posted 10 years agoHi all,
As a few of you may already know, I went to Thailand for 2 weeks in January. I had a great time and having been before, I knew what to expect this time. The cities apart from Phuket weren't as good as 4 years ago, however Phi Phi Island is still going strong! It felt a bit more 'touristy' than last time also.
On my return, it took me a while to get over the jet lag and the food deficit (difficult to eat normal amounts of food in a hot climate). Now I'm pretty free for the next month or so, meaning it's a good time to get a commission from me ^^ I'm also running out of ideas for my personal artwork. There will be yet another resurrection of one of my old characters so stay tuned.

Settling in to the new place!
General | Posted 10 years agoHi all,
I've got the internet set up in the new place, and have been able to resume my artwork! Giving Windows 10 a go to see if it works ok, and it's fine so far. I'm running out of my own material to draw so I'm happy to take on the challenge of drawing other characters. I'm still busy but things are moving well now.
Currently listening to Stratovarius - Nemesis 8)

Hiatus - Moving House
General | Posted 10 years agoHi all,
I'm moving house in a couple of days to a better rented place with more space! That means since my work network does not allow me to view FA, I won't be able to upload anything or read notes for a while. I'm not sure when I'll get home internet back, maybe a week or 2. I can be contacted via co4esystems[at]googlemail.com on my smartphone if you want any commissions or requests done.
In the meantime I am focussing on my character Zancos the black half-dragon, there will be 1 more picture in the batch to go (currently scanned in as a sketch). After that I am working on improving as I go, at the moment I'm not where I want to be

Spore and Other Stuff.
General | Posted 10 years agoHello all,
I've pretty much used up all my time with the new job and gaming recently. I went on a mad Steam purchasing run starting with Shovel Knight and ending with Spore, with some RPG's in between. o0
Anyway, despite playing the demo years ago, I totally forgot about Spore and how fun it was to make up any alien creature you wanted in the editor (provided you had the correct parts). So far, I've taken a lizard-shark centaur-like thing, an alien avian race and something that can't be described easily with words through to the space age. On the 4th run I stuck with the creature stage and focussed on making some cool designs for creatures. It's awesome how you can easily make up a concept in the game - 3D editing is simple in Spore.
So art has really hit the back burner and I'm not sure when I'll get back to it. XD

Latest News and Tomorrow's Day Out

Hi everyone,
I have just re-done the baseline pictures for my 3 main dragon characters. That means I have free reign over what I do next. I'll take a breather for now but will be back with more pictures soon ish! :)
Tomorrow I'm waking up early to spend a full day at Confuzzled. I'm hoping to meet some of my favourite UK artists there, and make new friends. ^^
That's all for now.

General | Posted 10 years agoI still remember way back in 2006 when I first went on DeviantArt. Some may remember me from that time, was on it for 2 years then went inactive there. Nice to see artists like Syrinoth and ReptileCynrik still going strong here. After university and work/life balance sorting out, I finally have time for furry artwork again.
I specialise in dragons, reptiles and marine creatures. My main character is Trakos the red dragon, with two others Xercos and Zancos. I'm also working on a dolphin character as yet unnamed.
A lot of time has passed since I last went on an art site, so I'm older and wiser. Can't wait to get to know people again. :)
