I love you guys. <3
Posted 13 years agoJust wanted to say I really appreciate all of you, friends, watchers new and old, and everyone who takes precious time out of their days to look at my silly drawings, and even more so to those who leave a comment or two. Your feedback is very much valued. :3
Impending text wall beyond this point, proceed only if you're awesome. :O
I started drawing around six years ago, back in 2006. I was still in high school, and I was impressed by how much people loved cartoons, drawings and anime series back then, that I decided that it would be awesome if I could draw half as well as most of the people I knew online. I really cannot say I've actually -become- half as good yet, but if at least one person likes my doodles enough to mark them as Favorites, then I'm more than happy.
This account was created almost three years ago, in 2009. I hadn't heard of this site before, relegating my drawing to deviantART and their atrocious community and regulations before then. Lurking around the web I stumbled onto here, and found a sanctuary in its lovable people and tolerance for more adult drawings. If it wasn't for you guys, I don't think I would have drawn so much and so differently if I stayed back in dA, so that's very much appreciated also.
As of the time of this journal, I have garnered 11264 pageviews, submitted 230 drawings which have been faved 6946 times, received 6267 comments, and I'm being followed by 742 furs from all around the globe.
This is very much a milestone in, well, my life in general, and the only reason why I keep trying is you guys. I love each and every one of you, and you just give my life meaning. Thank you! <3

Creating a character for doing horrible things to?
Posted 13 years agoSomeone I know gave me a link to a website about guro... And not the nice, good, girls-made-into-aberrations kind of deal, the other one. Yeah, that one, with the blood and disembowelment and really extreme stuff.
And, as messed up and terrible as it was, I found myself very much interested by the whole thing. I guess we all have our violent, sadistic, Jack the Ripper side, huh...? And I know this is gonna upset a lot of people, but since then I've been wanting to try some of it myself. :P
I've always had a tingly spot for BDSM, leather and lace, but those guro people take it to another level, man. It's so... out there.
My goal since I started drawing back in 2006 was to try my hand at every style that picked my interest, trying to turn myself into a veritable jack of all trades. So in my perspective this is my latent philosophy knocking on the door of the waking nightmare that is my head, trying to get me to draw a girl getting strangled by a nylon wire while getting beat senseless by a tentacle monster or something. xD
What do you think?

I saw a couple making a scene today.
Posted 13 years agoYep, at a restaurant. I was having dinner with my family when this lady starts going mental on her guy. Something about him trying to control her or something and threatening to call a taxi and leave, I dunno. Lots of screaming and table banging.
Point is that she made my family and everyone around them really uncomfortable. They were sitting right next to us, too.
Of course, guy paid for dinner.
The extent and haste in which your partner can turn into an insufferable leech is astounding. And I'm not talking about women only, any partner at all.
I guess there's a reason why the forever alone guy has a smile on his face.

How about a mole girl statuette?
Posted 13 years agoLately I've been thinking about how awesome a little statue of Moleesha would look like on my desk...
I know some people on this site make models and stuff like that, and I really have been thinking about getting one of Molee, but... Then I start wondering about shipping charges, taxes, what if the thing breaks... I do live outside the States, so I really don't like stuff being delivered here because you never know how they're gonna handle your package.
What about you? Do you have your little furry character sitting on top of your desk, did you ever think about ordering a little statue of it?

Happy Birthday to me?
Posted 14 years agoYey one year older...
A lot of stuff has happened this last year. Well, not really. I just got a job. And I've stopped drawing because of it. So I guess it's kind of bittersweet.
Sigh... I wanna draw something again.

Posted 14 years ago... Remarkable.
I wonder, do they make these in furry variant?
They'd make a killing if they did, tell you that much.
*thinks of a RealDoll of Moleesha* ... *shudder*

First day of actual paid work today!
Posted 14 years agoAnd it was GRAND. I loved it.
Everyone was so friendly and fun. My supervisor's very serious and strict, but he's a good guy. Very patient, very helpful.
My teammates are so nice, and even though they're all veterans, they're still nice and helped me a lot on some calls I didn't understand.
It's hard for me to have conversations with you North American people. It's like you instantly pick up on my accent and that immediately makes you think I'm just some dumb Mexican who doesn't care about you.
I understand if you want to be condescending or patronizing, I totally get it if you get impatient due to me being an apprentice. That's what I've been trained to expect and deal with.
Don't worry, I took all my calls today, I solved all the problems that I had the clearance to solve, and I think I got a couple of good grades on the VOC surveys. Yay!
Most people were so nice and patient, even the lady who was in the hospital and had a late fee she wanted removed, and the lady who had just gotten robbed but was really nice about it.
I don't appreciate the lady who called in all angry because she didn't get her weekly discount coupon. I'm really sorry about that, lady, but I really don't control the USPS, it's really not my fault that they lost your coupon, I don't deliver the mail myself. O.o
Anyways, yeah. It was fun. I get off at 10:00 PM CST everyday so you won't be hearing about me a lot these next few days. Gotta have some time for my brain to process the idea of being enslaved to a phone ten hours a day. x.x
I'm going to sleep now, been working since 12:00 PM CST, so I'm really tuckered out.
Goodnight! And thank you for calling Kohl's!

Posted 14 years agoI'll start taking calls next week, guys! Maybe next Wednesday or so. It's so exciting! My first job ever. And working for such a prestigious, popular business... It's awesome.
I've only received a few days of training, but I think I can handle it. I've been studying my manual and practicing with my team mates, listening in to real calls from all over the US. Some of the customers are really nice, others sound so angry. But I'm there to help you guys, don't worry. Hopefully we'll be able to solve your credit card issues together. :3
I don't know how I should introduce myself, as "Ricardo" or "Rick". Which one sounds better and/or is easier for you to pronounce? You'll also have to excuse my accent, I know a lot of words in English, and I can hold myself while having a conversation with others, but the pronunciation is kind of a doozy. I hope I'll get better with time, so just bear with me one moment while I forget my native language for you guys. :P
In other news, my back has been cramping up a lot lately. I think it's stress... I feel so tense. I really hope I can keep up in the floor... Go easy on me, okay? D:
Oh, and my cat... She's had a rough week. It all started last Sunday, she was out exploring and stuff, but when she came back her tail was bleeding... I have no idea how or where she got cut. We just kind of healed her and stuff and so far it's been looking okay.
She got hurt again yesterday, she got stuck on my neighbor's razor wire and cut herself up something fierce. He fur got kind of ripped open and you could see her muscle through the hole, it was horrible.
We took her to the vet today and she stitched her up. She's still a bit woozy from the anesthetics but she's okay now. My poor kitty. >.<

I got the job, guys! :D
Posted 14 years agoYeah, I got hired by a call center company... I'm gonna be a "customer services representative" for Kohl's, I don't know if you know what that is. I think it's some sort of big store or something. It has its own credit card, and that's what I'm gonna be working with.
Apparently, people are gonna be calling in to ask stuff like "what's my balance?", or "why am I being charged for this and that?". It's my job to help them and try to solve their problems...
So if any of you have a Kohl's credit card and are in need of help about it, chances are you're gonna be calling me for help. x3
Wish me luck! It's my first job ever so I really wanna make sure I don't mess it up... Don't worry if I don't update for a while, that's me working my butt off to pay for college... :O

Tomorrow's my job interview, guys!
Posted 14 years agoI'm SO excited and nervous... My first job interview ever.
I applied for a call center position, because I don't want to flip burgers through college. Besides, they said I need to speak both Spanish AND English, so I guess I have that going for me... Spanish is my native tongue, and I've learned English through practice, observation and brute forcing it. So far I think it's come out okay... Right? o.o
They said I also need people skills, I have to be polite and mature, and I need to be able to keep my cool no matter what kind of costumer calls.
If all goes well, you can expect to hear my lovely voice every time the postal service fails to deliver your package or your internet connection's broken down or something. It's gonna be awesome... I really hope I can keep it together and be able to perform well... x.x

I think I'm getting a job, finally.
Posted 14 years agoSo, yeah. I've sent my resume to a call center or something, they're supposed to let me know what's what tomorrow or Tuesday.
Oh man, my first job...! That would be so awesome if I got it.
Pray for me, guys! Or don't, if you're not the praying sort. x.x
If everything goes okay, I hope we get to chat soon, if your computer breaks down, or if your car insurance runs out or if I feel like pestering you until you agree to our super saving plan of satellite TVs.
You've love my super thick Hispanic accent. It'll be so fun. x3

Posted 14 years agoI really love you all. You're the best, every single one of you.
And even if we clash sometimes, remember those are just the ups and downs of a relationship between friends. I still appreciate you all.
... Yeah, that's it. It's a journal expressing my love for you all. :P

... oopsy daisy.
Posted 14 years agoApparently, I single-handedly and inadvertently managed to get myself in trouble somehow in the last couple of days. Got two bits of my stuff removed from the site and got slapped in the wrist by FA administrators via notes. I really don't know how FA's crime and punishment system works, but by all means and purposes I have landed myself "two strikes" as it were. I really don't want the third one, it could get me suspended or even banned.
I think I'm gonna lay low for a bit until things calm down... Besides, I need a rest after all the crazy thing going on around here. Time to go outside and read a book... Maybe study my assignments a bit.
That means I'm gonna try to stay away from here to an extent. Expect to not see too much of me for a little while... Who knows what other crazy mishaps I could get myself in if I stick around right now.
See you all eventually! And thank you for your support. You're all the best of friends I could ever have hoped to find on the tubes.
Also, thanks to Furaffinity for stomaching me and my crap. I love this site.
Rock on, everybody!
