After college I struggled with finding a job, a place to live, etc. etc... I haven't made much art in the past year. However, I'm ready to get things going again, but I have a little bit of a difficult decision to make in terms of FA.

I want to start fresh with a new account on here, because I've sort of put aside the concept of Transcendence Art, and don't want to use that name to promote myself. Annoyingly, FA doesn't allow you to change your username. The thing is, I have about 230 watchers on here, which is kind of a substantial number to abandon completely.

Perhaps I should make the new account anyway and double post, so watchers here can see my new material, but I can still have an FA site that is comfortable for my new artistic directions. Is posting on two accounts allowed?

If anyone has a moment to give me any thoughts on this that would be cool. Thanks very much!

I am a traditional artist, so you may choose to have the original, physical copy of your commission mailed to you. Shipping price will be added onto the commission price.

I have a few new people out there, so thanks to everyone who has been following me and who have recently followed me. Although I haven't been posting anything here, I've been working extremely hard at school, and at the end, I should be able to do a nice big spam.

Next fall, I will be moving to British Columbia (hopefully), and am also attempting a short trip to Japan in August. This means I'm going to need all the money I can get, and aside from my usual summer cleaning jobs, I'm hoping to start my entrepreneurial business as an artist. I want to spend a lot of time making great art for people that will make them happy. So, start thinking about what you would like to see from me :) I will be opening for commissions soon, and have some adoptables in the works.

what am I doin wrong? are my photoshop skillz not rad enough yet? well, i'm a beginner... so i guess i better just deal and keep practicing!!!

Money... money is a horrible thing... will it be an issue for the rest of my life? Or is it being in college that makes things SO difficult?

Art supplies, food, gas, living items, electricity, heat, it's all just too much, especially considering I had $300 stolen from me last week. I'm going to have to come up with that money at some point, in May, when things are going to be even harder because I'll be moving, transitioning, and times in life like that are always more expensive.

I just have too much... too much to remember, to much to pay for. I'm so tired of life. I just want to write and work on my art, and connect with nature. That's literally ALL I want, all I need for happiness, but it's not that simple, is it?

I have 3 commission slots open at the moment.
I am willing to take digital commissions since I've had quite a bit more practice now and I'm getting better. I also have trade slots open, and check the gallery for adoptables!

Hi guysss, I would like to conduct a sort of casual survey, if people don't mind?
I'd really like to make some adoptables for all ya'll (I do have a few linearts I am going to start working on for some Ismenara Dogs I think people will like), but I'm just wondering something.

Do you prefer smaller/cheaper adoptables that are simpler and many versions of the same kind, or would you like to have the option of more designer adoptables, ones that are more complex, perhaps with a little existing character background?

Along with that second one, I like the idea making the more complex ones customized as well, if there were certain colors or features the adopter might like.
So yeah, let me know what you think :) I'm going to go draw some of those little blue sea slugs... be back later!

Oi vey... I still exist!
Making so much art but, unfortunately, so much of it is large scale, or sculpture, and I simply have no mechanism aside from my cell phone for taking pictures... they can be quite decent, sometimes, but rarely can I capture the full piece. Lately I've been working smaller because of traveling a lot, though, so I have a few things for you guys (and some detail shots of larger pieces).

I hope you all still like me. As always, I am open for commissions. It's christmas break, I have time, AND my scanner here at home with me (and internet, OMG!). So, if anyone wants to talk, feel free.

So guys, in the past couple weeks I moved apartments, AND started a new job, and I'm also participating in an arts fest going on in my town this Saturday, so I've been making necklaces like CRAZY.

Our new place does not yet have internet. Hopefully we will get it soon, I won't be around much til them because I don't have a lot of time to go to cafes and the library.

One of the places I interviewed and applied to like 3 weeks ago just got back to me! THEY WANT ME! Which means I'm going to be working five days a week for $15/hr, and I'll still have plenty of time to write and make art!

I'm a little sad that I'm not going to be able to follow through with my idea of doing flea markets and crafts fairs, but it's nice to know I'll be financially secure.

So I wouldn't normally use FA to talk about something like this, but I feel a connection to this community in all of our love for animals. I think the people here are open minded, and sometimes a few words or one simple idea can change people's (and lots of other persons, human and non) lives for the better.

I've been 'veganesque' for almost a year now. Generally I try to keep as many animal products out of my diet as possible. Sometimes it's hard, when I'm rushing or stressed (although I never eat meat, no matter the circumstances) to not just order an egg and cheese, and sometimes you're just craving things. Basically, all groceries I buy from the supermarket are vegan, but when I eat out or am given food, sometimes I'll get cheese or eggs.

Lately though I've gone wholly vegan, and I'm feeling much, much better. My heartburn is going away, my digestion has been better, and so have my energy levels. It's giving me a lot of piece of mind, and it's a really great way to do something good and be a proactive member of society every day.

In a nutshell, veganism is good for the earth, the environment, your body, and especially and most important of all, GREAT for the animals! Cutting meat, dairy, eggs, and other animal products out of your diet can saves dozens, if not hundreds of lives every year. That's what keeps me committed.

I'm hoping this doesn't offend anyone, I know people always get touchy about this topic; I feel positive expression affects people much more than scare tactics, and this is what I'm going for.

Ugh, I have this habit of first thing when I wake up to check my e-mail and check tumblr.
So I checked my email since I'm taking a break from my other tumblr right now and there were 3 rejection letters for short pieces I submitted to a magazine. They said "We highly encourage you to read through it again and revise."

And they said that for all three. So it was a generic letter. They must just send that to everyone they decline. The pieces weren't messy. I did read through them.

Just such a bad way to wake up. I've already been depressed as hell the past few days, anyway.
Ugh.

Sigh.
I'm jobless.
So I shall remind that I am open for commissions. Technically one slot is filled but it's taking me so long to finisht that it's all right. So let me know if you want something!

I think I'm going to try something new this summer, rather than cleaning houses or working at some food place. There are dozens and dozens of crafts fairs and festivals, so I'm going to try to go about getting booths at them, selling my artwork and doing henna tattoos.

I hope it'll work -_- If any of you have ever done something like this maybe you could relay some advice to struggling 'lil meeee.

Good day FurAffinity followers.
Guess what? I am officially on summer break! Do you know what that means? I have time to make art I actually want to make! And work on commissions, too, and adoptables. I want to have a presence here again, I feel guilty for not being active, but this semester was extremely stressful, both emotionally and academically. I'm still going through some stuff but I know focusing on my personal art again will help me a lot.

So, I'd like to interact here. Since I've been gone so long, I'm going to take some free requests. I'll do 5-8, depending. Just comment here on the journal.

Also if there is anyone who has commissioned me and you want your piece mailed to you, please note me. I'm a bit jumbled, but I know where everyone's pieces are; if I happened to lose track of any I will do a new one for free.

Also also, I made a Wattpad for my writing. I'm going to be posting on there quite frequently. If any of you have anyone, I'd love to exchange critiques! (Link at the bottom).

Thanks for everyone who has stuck around in my absence. The support I have on FA, though small, means a lot to me and I take it seriously. I feel that this place could really factor into my future--once free from school I intend to indulge in some of the things I've wanted to explore but can't right now, (like making myself a fursuit, and going to cons).

It's been a month since I've posted anything!
I'm so sorry guys, life has been crazy and difficult recently. The semester is ending, and I am swamped beyond reason. It's been awful. But luckily, what I'm doing for my Illustration final is stuff I can post on here! So you'll be seeing some updates.
