I really hope it comes back soon. I'm stealing cafe internet right now, but hopefully semi-regular posting will begin again soon ;A;

So, as you all know, one of my favorite pass times is world building. In fact, it's probably my favorite thing in the world to do. Part of this includes mapmaking, something simple and that is great fun, and can also be great for sparking inspiration for a writing prompt, comic, game, or anything else, really.

What I'm wondering is if anyone would be interested in buying/commissioning premade maps (with or without names) from myself, to inspire. Here are some examples:

Hey guys.
School starts tomorrow for me :( I could really use another week of vacation, but it is what it is.

So this is an update post, to UnicornSpirit and Loiku, I just wanted you guys to know that I am slowly but surely working on your kiriban prizes! They are both sketched and inked, and UnicornSpirit's is partially colored. I hope to have them both finished by the weekend! Once I'm done with those I'm thinking of opening up for 2 or 3 trade spots, so if anyone is interested in that start thinking.

Also, I'm on the verge of money issues. It's time to start buying art supplies and my savings account is dwindling to uncomfortably low numbers. There are still many pieces in my gallery for sale, and I have 3 commission slots open, as well as a few adoptables. I should probably do like a $5 headshot thing or something but... we'll see.

Other than that things are going quite well. The weekend was positively exhausting, but it ended very, very nicely :3 Hopefully I'll be energetic and excited going into all my classes tomorrow, wish me luck!

There is no way I can find to more fully express myself, my thoughts, my feelings, my ideas, my excitements, my loves, my hates. There is no other way I can explore the aspects of humanity that I can't come to terms with--war, murder, hatred, death, evil. I can go anywhere, do anything, see any place, live in another world.

Visual art is still important to me, but honestly, I wish I could spend every day writing. It is a release like no other, and when I get 500 words down, 1000, 1500, it's a sense of accomplishment I don't feel from just a painting or a drawing.

My characters are so much more than just characters to me. They are real people living an experience, and each one is a different facet of myself, a different beauty or ugliness that I need to express.

Even though it's damaging to my social life, and maybe to my mental health to an extent, I need it. I need it like I need air. I want to make a living off my writing someday, and I think I can do it. As long as I never stop.

So no new art until I go back up again and get it.

Because sometimes, I try. But it never comes out nice. In fact, it comes out the opposite of nice.

Hi watchers, sorry for posting a few pieces that have already gone up.
You see, a few weeks back I was having a really hard time, and I spaced out and forgot to turn in my hours sheet for my gallery job. I was used to having $40 a week to live off of, but I haven't had any extra money coming in for the past few weeks. I've got bills to pay and a very small amount to pay them with.

So yes, there are new works up for sale! In fact, almost every piece in my gallery is negotiable for sale since the semester is over. If there happens to be a piece you have had your eye on, let me know and we can definitely work something out.

School is out, I still have my final evaluation on Monday so it doesn't quiiiite feel like I'm done (even though I've been partying since Wednesday...).

Anyway, I've been wanting to write but it's not coming out. It really doesn't feel like a block, I don't have that like freeze in my mind that's making me feel frustrated. I just think I need a break, a few days where I don't pressure myself. See, before I wrote my novel this summer I didn't write anything solid for like, 3 years, maybe more (mostly because I had an extremely oppressive boyfriend who was sort of discouraging of my artistic endeavors--I was always afraid of him finding my writing). Anyway, the point is is that I'm afraid if I STOP writing at all, I'm going to lose it and not get back into it. And that terrifies me, because writing is my lifeblood. I love to write more than I love to create visual art, I'm pretty sure. Not to mention I completely changed my major to accomodate my need to write.

I'm just going on and on because I'm bored. Not sure where any of my friends are at, it's too early to start assembling people, and Logan doesn't even get out of work til 7, ah!

I just want it to be nine o' clock. In the meantime, I'm going to listen to the new Jack Strify music and eat some vegan pizza. Hurrah!

Hey everyone, sorry for my slight absence around here.

I have a trade and 2 kiriban prizes to draw, and I'm afraid I won't be able to get to these things until I'm done with finals (which will be about a week from today). Sorry for the delay, but I have a lot going on right now and when I draw them I really want to be focused and make good pieces!

Also, I've been spending a lot of time with one of my friends, and we're getting very close, so I've been really trying to nurture that relationship and make sure its going in the right direction, which has also been taking up a lot of time.

I promise, though, I will get to these things eventually! If I have some spare time tonight I'm going to scan a few sketches for you guys.

I've never had so much success on an online art community before, and it gives me a lot of confidence that I will be able to pursue my art as a career in the future.
