Etiquette Question
General | Posted 5 years agoOk everyone, honest question: why do so many leave shouts thanking people for favoriting things?
While I appreciate the thanks and am flattered when I get favorites, I don't understand the thinking. Aside from showing the creator I like something, I use them to either save or track to read later. I guess my philosophy is that favoriting is a way of thanking instead of something to be thanked for.
Watches I get. That is different to me, so I get thanking for that.

GPIM Input and Theories
General | Posted 5 years agoI uploaded something wildly different from my Pleasure Island series this week. (Thanks so much for all the love you've shown it!) I probably will next week too just to get something in the WishR folder.
Anyway, part of why I'm doing that is to get a little bit farther ahead in the Haywood story. I've decided that the next chapter is a good one to have as the last one prepared in advance so I want to finish it before I resume that line just in case. And then I finished that chapter today...sorta. As I was writing, something else came to the forefront before the bit that I felt was worthy of calling my progress. A bit of character that I'm really proud of and that really feels important in a different and separate way. So, to keep the two from fighting or taking away from each other, I've split the chapter and given the first one over to this unexpected development and the second to the planned happenings. In the end, I still have one more chapter I want to write.
That said, I think this bit of trivia is a good excuse to ask for input. Certain beats, plotlines, and details may already be decided, but the story is far from fully decided. Why not ask the community? I figure that one good way to fill in the gaps is to ask for input.
I want you to leave your ideas in the comments here (or on individual chapters). What kinds of attractions and amenities do you think are on Pleasure Island or do you want to see how have adapted to the island? What kinds of characters or arks would you be interested in? What aspects of the transformation do I need to hurry up and explore?
I'd also be insanely excited if you feel like theorizing in my chapters! I'm physically incapable of giving away big spoilers but I'm open about talking about the story and teasing. Plus I just want to be one of those creators whos easy to talk to about his work. And as a theorizer myself, I find it fun to talk to people about their theories.
Think of this like submiting requests. I'm not promising I will include it or that I will include it exactly like you say, but I definately want you to speak up.

Wow, thanks for all the favs!
General | Posted 5 years agoDang! 8 favorites in less than a day for my Udder-U story. Wow, I'm blown away thanks everyone, I'm glad you all seem to enjoy my ideas. Yea, maybe it's not a lot compared to some people, but this is only my 5th submission.
And thank you to all the new watchers too! I haven't forgotten you too. It means a lot, especially now that I'm not just faving things. Hope you enjoy what I keep writing.
Edit: 10! I'm honored.
