Re-opening Commissions
Posted 2 months agoHey, gang. I had my commissions closed for a little while there; I was dealing with some pretty bad anxiety, and didn't want to make any big commitments to anyone. I'm getting a little better, though, and I've always enjoyed commission work, so I'm opening them back up. Just my standard three slots for now. Check my profile for my commission info and my request form. Please note, I may be slower than I usually am at these, but they're always a high priority for me, so I will be doing my best.
Cheers.

Requests are Closed
Posted 2 months agoForgot to make a journal. Oops. For now, I'm closing requests. They might pop up again, though, so keep an eye out. Cheers.
Opening Requests
Posted 3 months agoI want to keep writing, but I've run out of ideas. To that end, I'm opening up requests again. If you're interested in getting a free story, head over to my commission form and submit your request, and if I'm interested (no guarantees), I'll hit you up. Be sure to read my commission info linked in my bio, as I'll be adhering to that (except for the bit about payment, obviously). I'll be taking two, MAYBE three total, depending on how long they are, and I'll be more likely to accept a new requester than a returning one. Even if you've made a request before, though, don't let that put you off making another; you still have a good chance, especially if I like your story idea. My Discord server members got a chance to submit their requests first, which is how I plan on doing things from now on, so if you'd like to get in early the next go-around, consider joining. I think we're pretty cool people.
That's all from me. Cheers.

Publishing over on Discord while FA uploads are down.
Posted 5 months agoHey, gang. FA uploads happen to be down during one of the few times when I actually have stuff to post. I have two pieces that I'll be posting here eventually, but in the meantime, I've posted them in my Discord server, which you can find here. One's actually pretty sweet! And one very much isn't! Going forward, even once FA is back up and running, I plan on posting finished stories there first and waiting off on posting them over here to give server members a chance for a sneak peek. Also, if waiting for finished stories isn't your thing, I also have a channel where I run works-in-progress past my server members to get feedback towards later drafts. There's also a channel where you can send me your requests and suggestions. All that is to say, if you'd like to not only see stuff earlier but also get a chance to shape it in your own image, you should check out the server.
That's all for now. I'll be seeing you again once I can finally upload. (Also, one last reminder, my commissions are still open!)
Cheers, everyone.

Discord Server!
Posted 7 months agoI said 'fuck it' and made that server. Invite link can be found here or on my main profile. 99% chance it'll be a ghost town, but 1% chance of fun.
Discord Server?
Posted 7 months agoSomething (i.e. literally nothing) has me wondering about making a Discord server for me and my fellow degenerates, but I thought I'd gauge interest. Given the nature of what I post, I mostly expect that people would prefer to keep their engagement with my work to themselves, but I thought, hey, there's no harm in seeing.
On a similar note, if you're on any servers that you think I should be on, hit me up. I'd love to network.

Looking for a proofreader
Posted 8 months agoI'm working on a little side project. It might come to fruition, it might not, but it'll require writing a few stories. I've finished one, and I'm looking for a proofreader before I send it out into the world at large. I should tell you, it is not inherently pornographic in nature, but it explores some darker themes. I've had someone look at draft one, they gave good notes, and I've just finished draft two. Just need a fresh set of eyeballs on it. If you're at all interested, shoot me a note and I'll send it your way.
Thanks in advance.

Suggestions?
Posted 9 months agoHey, gang. We're entering a rough time of year for me, so I kind of want to do something creative to get my mind off things. I'm not taking requests again, but if you have any suggestions as to what I could do next, I'd love to hear them. Throw me a kink you'd like to see, or a scenario that might be worth exploring; whatever you like. I'm creative, but not creative enough to come up with my own ideas. I rely on you heavily, my dear audience, so let's see what you come up with.
Please note: It does not have to be kinky. I want to expand a little bit into more standard--if likely dark--fare. Stretch out my wings, as it were (crow gag). I'm presently a novelist without a novel, so that energy needs to go somewhere.
EDIT: How would you all like me to differentiate my less-kinky writing from my standard fare? Would a tag on the title be enough? Should I make another account for it? Tell me the best way to get them to you.

Getting out there
Posted 9 months agoWhen I made Alias, I didn't do so with the intention of making friends. That's still more or less true; I'm perfectly capable of being friendly, but the less people know about me, the better. But I find myself wanting to connect with other creators, even if in a more professional capacity. Partly because despite appearances, I do enjoy social interaction now and again, but I also think that engaging with the larger community might help my own work get some visibility. I've been getting stagnating numbers when it comes to my writing, and I think I just need to engage with a fresh audience by moving in the same circles. That's not something I'm terrific at, but I'm going to try giving it a shake. Networking has never been my forte, but I'll just feel it out and see if it works.
To that end: Recommend some other writers to me? Feel free to do so privately. I genuinely do want to consume more content similar to what I create, this isn't purely motivated by my own self-interest. The things I'm into vary, so don't feel like I need people who are carbon copies of myself. I'll generally enjoy a well-written story even if it's not my personal kink or, God forbid, not kinky at all. There's something to be said for quality work regardless of content (though darker themes will tend to suit me better).
On a slightly related note, I'm considering doing some writing that isn't as directly fetish-driven. I'll differentiate it from the kink stuff somehow, though how exactly I'll do that is a problem for later Alias. That's not to say that you can suddenly expect sunshine and rainbows and kittens from me. I don't mind saying that the stuff I write is pretty dark, and that's probably not going to change any time soon. Don't expect too many happy endings from me. But this might help grow my audience too, expending my repertoire. I dunno. We'll see if anything even comes of this. I'm making no promises.
But, yeah. The long and the short of it: Tell me who I should be checking out. Send me towards stuff I'll like. And I'll try to be more active in the community as a whole. There would be something personally fulfilling in that.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Taking requests again
Posted 10 months agoI've got some writer's block going on, or I'd be uploading more of my own stories. I'm looking to stay active on here, though, so to that end, I'm taking free requests again. Just three this time. It's a good way to get the creative juices flowing. Feel free to send a request even if you've gotten one before, but know that I'll prioritize new people should interest exceed that three-story limit.
All requests will follow my Commission Rules (except the part about cost, obviously) and I have the right to turn down a request if it doesn't sound right for me. Once I've got you on my list, I'll send you a Google form to fill out to get all the story info I'll need, and then we'll go from there!
One of the best things you can do for me is share my work around. If you're inclined to make posts, posting the story and linking back to me would be Neat and Good, since it might get more eyes on my gallery.
That's about it. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message on FA, Discord, or Telegram; you can find those on my user profile.
Cheers.

Opinions Needed
Posted a year agoHey, gang.
So, my usual wares typically don't end kindly for at least one person involved, but the requests I took --and the one I did for myself after-- ended on relatively optimistic, occasionally even hopeful notes. So here I am, trying to figure out what to do next, and I thought I'd gauge the general vibe of my viewing audience. Are we staying with the slightly-upbeat/wholesome/hopeful themes, or are we delving back into "you're fucked" fare?

OPENING COMMISSIONS
Posted a year agoHey gang! I'm horribly anxious about it, but I'm opening commissions! My practice run with the free requests went really well, so I think I've got the process down. I'm still lowkey terrified, but I'm trying to have some self-confidence here.
This is all info you can find in my profile info, but I'll post it here too. The rules for submissions are here. To submit a request, fill out this form for me. I'll look it over and get back to you on whether or not I think I'm up to writing your story.
I'm only opening three slots for now, just to see how it goes. I'm terrified that something will go horribly wrong, but that's a risk I have to take. So, be nice to me or I WILL cry, and that is a threat.
Oh, and if you see something in the rules that I didn't cover, or covered incorrectly, let me know!
That's all from me. Cheers.

Looking for Volunteers
Posted a year agoHey gang. I finally uploaded an avatar. It's a royalty-free image of a crow, but that's the best I got for right now. But that's not important. The important thing is, doing all those requests went really well. It's possible that I just got lucky with my batch of clients there, but there were no speed bumps, and everyone was --or, at least, told me they were- really happy with their stories. And, based on your comments, y'all liked them too.
So, I'm going to be opening commissions soon! Probably! Not right this second, but pretty soon. Probably. My current dilemma is drawing up my commission info. It's essentially a contract, and I need to make sure it's covering everything it needs to cover. To that end, I'm hoping a couple of you lovely people would be willing to look it over for me and tell me if there's anything I missed, or if the terms of it are too strict/loose. Just to approve or disapprove all in all.
I don't like saying 'thanks in advance' because it sounds pretentious, like I'm informing you that you'll do this for me. So, thanks in advance, but not in that fashion. Y'know?

Requests Closed (for now)
Posted a year agoY'all were more interested than I thought, and I've already got a bunch of requests lined up, which is honestly and sincerely flattering. I'm closing requests for now, just so I can get all caught up, especially since writing isn't a super fast process. I'll see how this lineup goes, and reassess from there. Thank you all for conducting this experiment with me, and I hope I do you all proud.
Taking requests
Posted a year agoI've been more active on here than I ever have this last week, I swear. Anyway, to the meat and potatoes of this journal: I'm accepting requests! Depending on how this goes, I might expand it into taking commissions. I just want to see how capable I am of actually giving people what they want before I start charging money for it. I want to be more active on here, and since I'm between my big projects in my real life, I've got a lot of writing energy that needs to go somewhere. My biggest hangup is usually a lack of ideas, but with commissions/requests, the customer's going to be supplying the main idea, and I just need to form a story around it.
The rules:
1) I'm most likely to accept a request that lines up with my own fetishes, but I realize mine are pretty niche, so I'm willing to incorporate others. I do have veto power, though, if it's one I'm not comfortable working with, either because I just don't think I can write it well enough to actually do it properly, or if it squicks me out. My biggest worry is that I'll get squicked out by a lot of stuff, but we'll just have to see how this goes. I'll do my best!
2) I will need a little information from you. Characters (or character types) and at least a general sense of what you'd like to see, enough for me to build a story around. If your fetish is one I'm not familiar with, we might need to have a conversation about it, so I know which aspects of it are actually attractive to you and work those in.
3) Length. For requests, I'm not going to worry about it too terribly much, as long as you know it might be short. It'll all depend on what the story I come up with in my head will require; I'm not going to cut anything short just for funsies. I'm going to do my best to do my story justice. If/when I open up commissions, then I'll have to do a price-by-word-count thing, but that's a problem for later Alias. For now, just know that it might be short, but it'll never be shorter than it deserves.
4) Writing takes time. For requests, I'm not going to set myself any deadlines. I'll be using them for data points, though, to see how long it generally takes me to fulfill a request, and I'll adjust my deadlines for commissions accordingly.
5) I've got permission to publish these stories on my own page too, if I so choose. Unless you ask pretty please, then I might leave it up to you entirely. When/if you post it, please do link to me to help me grow.
6) About editing: I'll do as many drafts as I think it needs, then I'll send it to you. You can tell me to make any changes you want, up to and including a full re-write if you're not happy with it. I'll redo it, draft as necessary, and after that we can keep tweaking until we land on something we like.
There we have it. If all of that seems copacetic, then hit me up, and we'll see what we can do together. I'm hoping this goes well, and that it'll help me grow as both an account and a writer. Bear in mind, I'm doing this because I'm between projects in my real life at the moment, so once I get back into those, my speed here might slow down. But that's yet another problem for future Alias. They've got a lot on their plate. (Fun fact about Alias here: despite the testosterone practically dripping down my account, I'm actually nonbinary! I do still consider myself gay, though, thus the... well, the everything.)
Cheers, everyone.

About length
Posted a year agoI've got an idea. Like, a micro-idea. And I'd love to be posting more. Would you all be amenable to quite short pieces every so often, in between my long ones? Or should all my energy be going into longer pieces? Would a piece being short make you less likely to enjoy it, since there's less to immerse yourself in?
Writing is tedious, y'all
Posted a year agoI have the story in my head. I know exactly how it goes, beginning, middle, and end. I just wish the damn thing would write itself instead of making me do all the work. That said: expect something new from me, probably tomorrow, possibly Monday. That, or I'll hyperfixate, forgo sleep, and finish and upload it tonight. Doubt that'll happen, though.
The future of Alias
Posted a year agoHey, gang. Hope you're all well.
I know that vanishing for months at a time then coming at you with something out of the blue is sort of my pattern, but this silence has gone on for longer than anticipated. I've had some life changes happen, I've been dealing with my poor health, and I just... haven't had ideas. I'm into niche stuff, which can sometimes mean you don't have much room to explore. Usually when I get a story idea, it just suddenly occurs to me. I've thought long and hard this time, though, and I'm still coming up blank. I think I've sort of said all there is to say.
So, I'm going to take suggestions again. It worked pretty well last time, got some creative juices flowing. I'm hoping it'll spark something.
But I don't want to make any promises. Like I said, my health isn't good, so all my energy's getting used up pretty quickly on other things. I also do non-porn writing as my primary interest, and I really need to focus on that with what little energy I have. Between my health and my lack of inspiration, I'm considering officially retiring this account. Lack of content's been a weight on my shoulders, and if I can get rid of that burden, it might do me some good.
I don't want to, though! I like writing this stuff. I like posting it. I like when people like it, even if they do so silently. Hell, I get a better reception on my porn writing than I do on my SFW stuff that I write in my real life. So, like I said, I'm gonna field suggestions and ideas one last time to see if something gets me going again. If you're not comfortable making a public comment with the stuff you're into, feel free to message me directly. I'll try to remember to check my inbox regularly.
That's it from me for now.
Cheers.

Plotting a sona
Posted 2 years agoSee above title. Plotting a sona for socialization purposes (probably won't make it into any stories any time soon, but still useful) and I'm a little stumped on it. I'm pretty sure I'd be a crow, or maybe a magpie, but I can't think of any way to distinguish myself from a normal-ass black bird.
Vibes-wise, I'm relatively chill, maybe a little more extroverted than I really consider myself to be, but I'm also (obviously, if you've read my stuff) sort of a darker person mood-wise. My no-nonsense mode is strict, cold, and, I'm told, surprisingly intimidating, at least in person. I never blow up in anger, but I never take any prisoners, either. I'm That Bitch.
So, the ultimate question: What do you think I should be, and how do you think I should be distinguished? Help a guy out.
Cheers.

It's ya boy, back from the dead
Posted 2 years agoSo, those who've followed me for a while know my pattern: I pop outta the ground every two or three months with a short piece, then go back to hibernating in my tomb. I'm aiming to change that, and really start putting out content more consistently, hopefully grow my audience. A couple problems, though.
Problem one: I've built a brand around a really niche kink. If there's one thing we know about me, it's that I love gutpunching. I can try to come up with more situations to keep the stories from feeling like carbon copies, but I'm worried that if I just keep leaning into that, I won't be able to grow my viewing audience.
Problem two: If I stray too far in the other direction, I risk losing my core audience, those of you who follow me presently because we're into the same esoteric shit.
So, is there a balance I could strike, somehow? Alternate what I'm doing? Put out something to please a larger crowd, but somehow find inspiration to keep my usual stuff coming out too? Should I stick with what I know, play it safe, or venture out and risk losing people who're already here?
I'm a little lost. Let me know what you think.
(And also give me inspiration for what story might come next, while you're at it. kthxbai.)

Looking for Ideas
Posted 3 years agoHey, you random few.
Basically, my well of inspiration seems to have dried up. Hoping something'll spark it, and I'm hoping it's you guys. Shoot me ideas; specific kinks you're into, or entire scenarios you'd like to see played out. Might make it into my next work, or at least inspire it.
Hit me up, y'all.

What sort of things do you want to see?
Posted 4 years agoA message to all 8 of my followers. What kind of stuff would you like to see in future works? I have some ideas, but they feel like rehashing of things I've already done before. Let me know what you'd be interested in seeing me try (feel free to message me privately if you'd like to keep your preferences discreet.)
