Posted 6 years agoSo Geedubs teased about some kinda Warhammer revival that'll happen in 2-3 year-ish from now. Which is pretty neat, considering how Age of Sigmar got a lot of people mad (because the End Times was such a shitshow) and how "Vermintide 2" and "Total War Warhammer 2" have been some big successes in terms of vidya regarding the old Warhammer world. I'm pretty sure it got a lot of players interested in the lore too. It'll be interesting just how it's gonna pan out in the future.
Also I'm seeing a huge increase in Skaven art! It pleases me because I'm a fan of those furry idiots. Mad science is best science. :3
Best race will forever be 40k Orks. Becuz dey da best.

I have waited months just for this moment.
That time of the year!

You want context? Too bad!

Posted 6 years agoAugust is almost over! Wild stuff, yeh?
A recap of the stuff that happened during this month:
* Had bursday.
* Blood Bowl league is back and alive locally after a summer break.
* Lots of beer.
* Been an absolute lazy piece of shit! 8D
* Antsy about when the next season of BWA is gonna start up again.
* Also antsy about when Turin will finally finish the Thiccit Claw campaign.
* Had zero interest and state of mind to draw.
Although tonight and throughout the night I'll draw a bunch of bullshit! No promises about porn, I just wanna do silly stuff.
That's about it!

Posted 7 years agoSkype is quality.
Posted 8 years agoOh boy! The old version of skype I was using supposedly expired, and I was forced to download a new version. Problem was that the shit just ate resources continously… never logged in or anything, so it became practically unusable.
Anyone following that was on my skype list, if you wanna hit me up and chatter on discord, drop me a message.

Wow, I never update journals!
Posted 9 years agoIt's true! Mostly because I don't have much to talk about... -w-
I haven't drawn that much lately, which... well, it's been showing, right? I don't think it's much to worry about, we all get our high and low points, right? But, I get pretty excited when I see how much people are changing and evolving with their drawings! Like they're finding themselves, what they like, and which direction they wanna take it currently! How you can actually see the confidence growing over time! It's such an amazing thing to see. You guys make me proud. :3
And I wanna give a biiiig thank you to over 770 watchers! I mean, WOW!! That's a lot of watchers! Holy shit! Thanks, guys! \owo/

September is a month of change.
Posted 11 years agoNot just because it marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, but there have been changes to my life as well that's affected me greatly.
First off, if you've peeked into my scraps lately, you've seen drawings that have been a bit weird. Weird in the sense it's not the same old MS-Paint and mouse doodles. What happened was that I started feeling pain in my lower arm when using the mouse too much. The small delicate movements, clicks and sweeps were putting a lot of stress on the muscles and it started to show. I've had to make adjustments to where my mouse is, how much I use it, had to use ice packs, taken painkillers and refrained from putting too much strain on my arm. If I use it too much I start to feel either tingly, achy or have chills or hot waves run through my lower arm from the elbow out to my fingertips.
This put me in a situation where I had to either live with it and keep going, quit artiing altogether, or find a different way to draw. I went with the third option, got myself a tablet after a bit of snooping around (a Wacom Intuos Pen small), and thanks to
zepher-tensho got that and SAI up and running. It was brutal at first, trying to adjust to a new medius, a new program... but it feels like I can work in it now. Sure, I don't know much about the program in itself, but I learn as I go along. It's a bit exciting, actually! We'll see how this turns out.
Secondly, and this is a big thing that has had an impact on me as a person, is that a distant friend died last week in his sleep. We were starting to bridge a several year long gap and get to know eachother again after we lost contact with eachother. We ended up in the same self-help group, and we talked, joked around, had coffee and stuff. Felt secure to have someone there that I knew, because... if he wasn't there, I would've felt so alone and vulnerable. We had an improptu meeting last week on friday to talk about it, and this morning we had a small ceremony. The turnout was pretty big. It was a nice ceremony, but I felt like shit during it all. The funeral is next week. I'm considering going there to pay my respects. I'm not sure if I can deal with it, but it's too early to say that now. It just fucking sucks that a man trying to get his life back together has to die so suddenly and without warning.

Possible end to pure mouse drawings.
Posted 11 years agoI keep getting either a jittery feeling by my elbow or uncomfortable warmth and chills running along my lower arm when I use the mouse too much. I think this is a pretty good sign it’s time to step down and look for something else. I’ve been messing around with a mouse and ms paint for about ten years now, but only the past five or so have been serious. Just making quick doodles start to feel uncomfortable now. Damage has been done.
I’ve ordered a tablet today. I wanna give that a try and see if I can draw with that. Might be less straining on my lower arm as a whole. I don’t wanna choose between quitting drawing or get more permanent damage or pain. It’s gonna be weird, but worth a try! So I’m gonna lay low until I start experimenting with that. Probably do some traditional doodles with a mechanical pencil if I get the itch~
I did some of that today, and it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, it felt great! But yeah, gonna return to uploading derps when I get to experimenting with that thing.

Dongers.
Posted 11 years agoBeen pretty hot in Sweden lately, and with the sun burninating my apartment during evenings, it's been a bit troublesome getting some snooze. Water is the best thing ever, though it gets all warm quickly. And sometimes I pop a bottle of water in the freezer and forget about it and pull out a giant ice dildo in a plactic casing. Once it metls it's the coldest and most refreshing drink ever~
I've been doodling a lot lately. Most of the things aren't really upload-worthy here on FA (it's quick scribbles and such) but the Pheon thing recently was an exception. It makes me wanna work more in that way and see what I can make. Also trying to muster motivation to finish a big project is pretty... hard. I should just grit my teeth and do it, but... weh, resistance. Viva. Etcetera.
Been working out steadily since May, too! I can see and feel some changes, so it's going as planned! I feel more alert and less sluggish, and I'm a bit stronger too. Feels great, man! I haven't felt that down lately either. I'm not sure it's due to tripping on endorphins or things are getting better, but something has changed for the better. Maybe it's the sun? I dunno!
Sorry for being kinda slow with uploads and content (as usual), but there's things going on behind the scenes!

Fixing my sleep schedule.
Posted 11 years agoBeen staying up to the morning hours and kinda wrecked myself because of it. The only downside to getting back into something that resembles normal sleep is that everyone else is asleep... timezones suck.
Requests hanging?
Posted 11 years agoI can't really remember who I promised to draw stuff for. So if you would like to be so kind to remind me of things I've left hanging for a while, please do. I'm not gonna accept anything new, so don't try and sandwich something in here. It's not nice. ;<

These weird dreams.
Posted 11 years agoI had a dream last night. And for the first time I wasn't afriad of the context! Here's what happened...
It was night, and I was taking a walk with an old friend from school back when we were in like seventh to ninth grade. I haven't seen him in forever, but that's besides the point~! We were about to part ways right by a crossroads which happened to be located by the edge of a forest, when we noticed flashing lights in the sky. UFO's descended behind the treelines, and circled where we were. For once I wasn't scared stupid at this, I've had many dreams like this up until now... about aliens, spacecraft, being taken away... but this time, the crafts just seemed to observe and were too busy with something else. After a while they shot off into the sky and disappeared as quickly as they had first appeared! Shortly after, a strange helicopter or VTOL craft came... it was white, and had these blinding lights shining on us... and a few moments after it landed, I think I went unconscious.
When I came to, I was in a lab. Sterile white walls and floor, a few tables, and I was sitting in a dentist chair of sorts. One masked person in a white robe told me to swirl some substance in my mouth. When I asked why, the person replied: "Your teeth will grow soft and brittle if you don't do as I say. They've spread some substance over the fields you were at". So I did as I was told... no reason fussing about it since they could be right about it. So as I was sloshing that blue liquid around in my mouth, I looked around the room. Lab assistants chattering away in the distance, and my friend was sitting in another chair further away, and a few people were conducting some kind of interview with him. There were two doors in this room, and this lab or med bay I suppose happened to be located between two other areas. The doors on one side opened and three people came through. Two lab coats and what looked like a Grey alien. They passed through and no one paid attention to it. I kept my eyes on the Grey, and the guy that handed me the solution earlier tapped me on the shoulder and said: "Don't think about it too much. It's more likely than you think".
I was then told to spit the liquid out into a metal bowl-like thing, and someone took care of it... I suppose they wanted to study it. I was told I was free to leave, and I was being escorted out of the room. Behind the doors was something like a library, and there was this tall... dark orange hairless alien there, big almond eyes... looked like a tall Grey, except oddly coloured. I don't know why, but I wanted to speak to it. As soon as I got close, its eyes locked into mine and it felt like it stared into my very being. I wasn't afraid, but I remember feeling ashamed to have even considered speaking to it. I felt something like an icy cold hand grip around my spine, and I was nudged and forced back into the lab. As the grip eased up, it burned like fire along my spine for a moment... then it stopped. I had a seat in the chair again, and looked up to the assistant and asked if I could have another go with that stuff, just to make sure everything was alright. After he did, he told me: "I'm sure you're confused right now. It'll take about fifteen times before anything starts making sense."
Then I woke up. And... well, like I said, it's the first time I have a dream involving aliens or the like without being afraid. I guess it means that I'm not afraid of the unknown so much anymore, just kinda awkward and unsure how to act around it. That's what I gather from the dream.
