Got two months left in the year, I wanna breakdown what my goals were for this year and see how well I did. I'll be referencing my 2025 Starting Fresh Journal for my goals.

1. GETTING A JOB!
PROGRESS: 60%
I managed to finish the schooling and got the certificate of completion, but now I need to re-study my notes so I can get the proper Pharm Tech certificate. This requires me to get in contact with someone the trade school told me about to pay $129 for the test. Hopefully I don't mess up and flunk it. After that, it's job hunting and saving my money. Only downside to doing this is that if you move out of the state you got the certificate, you need to retake the exam for the state you moved to.

2. WORK ON MY HEALTH!
PROGRESS: 20%
I'm failing this one, the time before last I weighed ~400lbs, and pretty much gained some weight since and got a warning about my cholesterol levels. I've got to figure out a plan to get myself to eat healthy and be more active than what I am. Just means I have to let people know I'm changing my life to benefit me more than them. Iykyk.

3. LEARN TO DRIVE!
PROGRESS: 50%
Thanks to my mom for helping me with this, we got a car for me to learn how to drive in. It was my cousin's car and we bought it off of him and his mom, a '14 Ford C-Max. It needs a few fixes like a new battery and interior detailing, but otherwise I'm set on learning to drive. I'll hit the books for that during my free time so I can eventually get my license and be free.

BONUS! LAPTOP!
After having my computer's PSU replaced and a couple bad storms in April and May, my mom got me a laptop to cover me when we need to stay somewhere/when I go travelling. I wanted to get it myself, but due to things that I needed that popped up I couldn't really do it, so my mom got me a laptop as a birthday/Christmas present. I appreciate her a lot for supporting me.

I must put the hammer down and close up shop with my commissions. Once my life is back in order, maybe I'll have time to open it back up, or even focus on my Soul Heroes project.

Happy Birthday to me! Gonna upload a couple pieces that I got over the past couple years on my birthday.

First FA goes into maintenance and gets slammed with something to the point it gets put into read-only mode. Then my city gets hit with the worst thunderstorm in history that KNOCKS OUT ALL POWER! Then my family and I had to get put into a hotel for two days which is two days too long being forced into ONE ROOM TOGETHER!

Soooo... about that WG drive. I'll go ahead and put a two-week extension on it (ENDING MAY 18) to HOPEFULLY drum up some cash so I can get the ball rolling on a new laptop and future PC build. If there's no donations within the two weeks, I'll go ahead and put the drive down as [Incomplete] and delete the PayPal link.

*sigh* Other than that, I finished my Pharmacy Technician Studies and just have to do some courses involving building a resume and cover letter. After that, cross your fingers and pray I land a job.

So, yesterday, April 18, 2025. My computer decided to try and die on me. When I turned it on, it wouldn't turn on properly and the displays weren't being read. I tried cleaning the PC as best as I could, reseating the GPU and RAM sticks, but nothing. My mother helped me take it to a shop to get it diagnosed and fixed, and after a day's worth of time had passed, I finally got it back in working order. The PSU was fully caked in dust, hair, fur, and some tar from my mother's old smoking habit, which caused it to become faulty and die. Another issue was one of the fans wanting to die too, so that was replaced. Lastly, the CPU fan was facing the wrong way and blowing too fast, that one's on me.

This whole experience has taught me that I need to start saving money for a back up computer/laptop so that way when something like this happens I'm still okay to work on art and my pharm tech studies. Expect to see an art drive eventually once I land on a theme, and also a possible patreon.

Hey there, 2024 was a complete mess wasn't it? Welp, to hopefully remedy this, I got some objectives to try and complete in 2025!

1. GETTING A JOB!
During the last few months of 2024, I kept trying to apply to places to get a job, even a part time job, but to no avail. So, I signed myself up for some classes to get a pre-certification for Pharmacy Tech. I'll be starting on January 15th, and need to complete the course before May 12th. Once I get back from my annual vacation in May, I can get a job and focus on saving up my money for better things and maybe a place for myself.

2. WORK ON MY HEALTH!
As much as I love being a tubster on the web, it's not beneficial for my health in reality. I'll be working to lose as much weight as I can within the year. My big goal is to lose enough weight to at least wear 3XL or even 2XL clothing. This means having to change my eating habits and how much I make for myself, as well as find substitutes for some of the things I eat a lot of fries. Smaller goals wise, lose a few pounds each week.

3. LEARN TO DRIVE!
I need to learn how to drive so I have some more freedom in my life. I never really gave my time to learning how to before due to ease of convenience and not going out much, but that needs to change. I have an audio playlist and a pdf of the guide to help me get through the memorizing process. It just feels like a slog with how much there is to read at once.

Even though I have never met you in person, and you may not know me, but many of my friends have been touched by your work to make this place a hub for furry art to be shared and made. For bonds to be made with those that have the same interested. There may have been times where things have gone upside down due to the ever-changing internet and the times, but this place is a home to many. Like the song, "In The Blood", it's not where you live, but who cares when you're gone. A great many furries in the community will miss you, and hope that your soul rests in peace.

So, 2024 is now here and ready to steamroll us. There's not gonna be much change to anything on here, my 2023 commission price sheet is being carried over to 2024 since I'm fine with the prices I have on them, and I don't have any interest in making a new ref sheet for my fursona this year since there's nothing more to change and the outfit can be swapped out for other kinds of attire.

I still have Soul Heroes in the background, slow as molasses due to IRL stuff and commissions come first. Scenario-wise, I have the prologue and chapter 1 done, with two interlude chapters done. Since the game is focusing on 8 different locations it's taking a fair while to make sure things flow smoothly. Art wise it's been slow, and I still have 4 other god characters to make as well as the main villain, and the kingdom leaders. Wish me luck in getting everything ironed out.

Real life stuff needs to change for me, I'm gonna look for a job so I have a more stable income and can work on getting a new PC for games and art. I tried near the end of last year and it failed, so I'm gonna try sooner rather than later. There's also the possibility that after the lease on the house is up we'll switch to month to month rent until we find a better place.

So yeah, a lot on my plate, but I'll make do with what I got. Happy 2024 Everyone!

I have made a few changes to my FA page and... well... all of my social medias.

1. Using Linktree

I'm using linktree to house all my social medias now instead of my carrd.co due to me not knowing of Linktree's existence until fairly recently. I'll figure something out for my carrd site, maybe make it into a permanent commission page.

2. Lux- what now?

I wanted to add or change to my sona's birthname to make things easier on me when promoting things. Still a Thunderpaw till the name dies.

3. Soul Heroes when??

I'm still working on it, but I'm having to start from square 1.5 due to computer issues (fuck you OneDrive), and it's also why my art is a smidge different due to said computer issues (again, fuck you OneDrive). I have also been writing the entire story and the gameplay concepts in Google Docs to keep my thoughts solidified. You'll get my game one of these days.

4. Employment

Due to irl things going on, I'm focusing some of my time into getting a job and hopefully be able to have a semi-stable income. It's been 5 years since I had been employed and it's about time I stop being a couch potato (despite my sona's body type) and get back into the work environment.

So yeah, that's the stuff I've been dealing with and why changes are happening. Next year is my 10th anniversary on FA and I do have a thing I want to draw to celebrate it. See ya then!

Other than that, going on vacation for the next two weeks, so commissions will be on hold for most of the month. Once I come back, I need to get a job to support myself since I still haven't found one. If I do, art might slow down a bit and I might put more focus on my RPG project I still have laying in the dusty corner of my desktop. I want my 24th year of life to be more free than the last couple of years.

Another year older!

Another year, another journal. Just reiterating a few points from my last journal.

- Commission prices are getting bumped up from last year. Still manageable prices, but won't pop a cap in your wallet.
- Soul Heroes development is a bit slow, but that's because art takes time and I'm making ref sheets for all the major characters.
- 2023 is the year that I have to get a job or else I won't have any insurance to keep me away from the not alive status.

With that out of the way, hope you all have a nice 2023!

Well this year's been all over the place. Okay so I haven't been able to keep up with my promise to do streaming. Lots of family things going on and trying to sort through my own things. Basically, this year was my recovery from the mess that happened last year. Things will be changing for me irl and for my commissions to keep things in a perfect balance.

1. I have to get a working job so I can get insurance and not have to worry about my health. The insurance will keep me going and the money will go towards improving my setup.

2. Commissions for December aren't happening since I wanna focus on personal art for my Soul Heroes project and prep for 2023.

3. My prices for commissions WILL get higher as I wanna keep art as a hobby and not a permanent job, the prices themselves will not be eye-gouging, so be relieved about that.

4. Current development on Soul Heroes is just working on the character designs before I work on the sprites. Lore and backstories have been in the works too and I wanna make this project mostly solo unless I run into an issue (most likely music.)

Okay so I have been gone for quite a long while and there's a good reason for it. My family has decided to rent a house for two years to hopefully save our money so we can buy into a new place. Took us a week of waiting to get the lease signed and it took us a while longer to try and get things set up in our two year place of residence. I got my desk set up finally and can now get back to making art.

Not much need for big fanfare to bring in the new year. The past two years have been, well... gobshite, and I had a lot going on towards the end of 2021. I hope we can all fully recover soon and make 2022 a better year.

Big thing that has happened to me is changing my fursona to a tanuki. I feel like it was a change that had to be made since I felt like the folf hybrid species was getting tiring and I wanted to me more unique instead of defaulting to something pretty basic. Plus, my body irl is pretty overweight and I feel much better reflecting that on my new reference sheets I just uploaded (with new changes on how I draw the raccoon dogs, such as the pointed ears and short snouts if I remember to do so). Tanukis are appealing to me and it really showed in the ending of 2021 where my NNN comic had me turn into one and it just stuck with me to where I said, "Fuggit, this is the me that I've ignored for too long." And here we are!

I plan on doing more streams this year since I couldn't really do that for 2020 and 2021, even if it's simple games that don't make my low end gaming PC blow up. Big goal is to try and save my money for a brand new gaming/streaming PC if parts scarcity has died down. I might even do streams where I make my RPGMaker game that I haven't been able to properly focus on. I also got back into Final Fantasy XIV again and have gotten much farther than what I did back in late 2019, early 2020. If I get a capture card to stream the game from my PS4, I would love to do streams of that game.

Let's all try to make 2022 the year we can do stuff without danger, 'kay?

Gonna be blunt, Dec 20 is my cutoff date for commissions of the year so I can enjoy the holiday without much hassle. It'll give me some time to refine my comm prices a bit and define somethings that came up.

So my last journal was made as soon as I got back home from my two week vacation. Before that my boyfriend wolfkid13 had a huge breakdown and we had him go into a psychiatric hospital to get calmed down and get help. Since then, I've been feeling a lot of guilt for jumping the gun on wanting to dump him, because a second chance at a healthy relationship is needed here. I'm gonna bring back the scraped art involving him and the Soul Heroes concepts. This is all coming from a place of regret and guilt, especially from someone that has a lot of emotions running through him. It'll take some time to slowly patch things up and get back to where we were in June and July. Hope you all understand my place in this situation.

It's mah birthday, but I'm also gonna be on my 2 week family vacation and I hope I can enjoy being with my grandparents.

So with the new year in and that god awful year gone (way to start the new decade eh), some changes are gonna be made.

1. Commissions will be done at a slower pace, where I'll need a days break between so I don't burn out.
2. I want to work on more original pieces this year, since last year was a big boom for my commissions over my originals.
3. I want to do more livestreaming this year as long as personal stuff in my life is not gonna interrupt the stream.

I'm hoping to make 2021 much better than 2020 since I felt like crap just being cooped up in my home. I can also tell it has affected many of you as well, and I wanna make this the better start to the decade in any way. Let us all dedicate this year to becoming the proper start. Have a great 2021!
