As my friend Hypur would say "no shits given", in regards to the FA drama. I dont know anything about it, so I can't comment. Im just glad everyone knows the whole facts about it before they start talking about it, because itd be stupid to do something based on rumors....

Silence has been from me for awhile, save for art faves, cuz I can fave and comment on my phone. But now with my comp completely working, i can now have my stuff recorded and streamed for peoples. If things go alright on Saturday, you'll be able to get a stream from me Saturday, if I get that Twitch website thingy working properly. I got 3 adoptable designs on aroll, im super hoping to get those finished if everything goes well (unless my dad picks me up early after work x.x). Working on am adoptable today after work, im hoping to get it done today.

Went out last night for about 10 minutes for some reason, then came back. So far, by my count (and I've been asleep for 8 hours, dozing in and out), the power has gone out 3 times tonight. Stupid freezing rainstorm, raining and freeing stuff ;3;
On the bright side though, the forested walkway behind my house must look beautiful. So ima be taking a few.......dozen photos of it all, sum with cellphone and others with my camera, hopefully either have good quality photos ttaken. And yes, they will be titled "winter wonderland".

To keep hearing people talk about how long FA was down for. For the first day of its downtime, I was able to actually use my computer. But then I had to reformat it twice, and go through over 200 updates, 6 restarts and 27 button clicks for "yes I want to instal this". All of which got my computer up and running the day FA comes back online (literally got skype installed 3 days ago, only got it working right yesterday).
Upside, while visiting my dad, he gave me enough money to buy the rest of the stuff for my new computer. It will be made 2 weeks at the latest after Christmas. AND, I'll actually be able to stream and record stuff with it too~ yay watching professional fail art~<3

Buying bits and pieces for the computer im building. No longer a windows vista dual-core at 2.4 GHz,bbut after Christmas a windows vista with a quad-core at 4 GHz. Going to be ble to stream and stuff for people.
Now to figure out how to record videos longer then 1 second, as well as smaller then 1 gig for 10 minutes (curse you gameclaw).

Most journals I submit here is usually the 20th one, with the other 19 being ones I've written and scrapped it saying it wasnt worth posting.

Most comments I put in people's journals are usually what I think is of decent quality. Though in the instances I dont comment in a journal, isn't because I didnt read it, but because I feel my comment would be pointless, not cared about, or I feel I should not say anything.

On another note, Ferret got a 3DS gameboy, with that pokemon game. I was going to get that stuff too till I saw one of the new pokemon. Then im like "bye Stan! Hahuhhaha"

Getting a list of stuff for the new computer im going to be getting, then I can get some proffesional fail streams going~

im done deleting/scraping pictures. For awhile now (and I mean more like, the past year), whenever I start working on an image, I find one error/problem, then another, and another, and eventually I deem the image soooo horribly done that it needs to be wiped, and restarted. Now, do that, but about 5 times per image, with each one being about an hour into the works. I start working on a picture, and hate my style so much i just wipe it, it makes it very difficult to get even a single picture done cuz i hate my style that much (artist is their worste critic, well, at least they FINISH their art, I just toss it and restart, and restart....and restart....). But its stopped me from doing any art at all because nothing meets my expectations, but with all the adoptables and cards i ahve remaining to do, i can't afford to keep doing this, otherwise im never going to get them done.

That being said, im going to stop doing that from now on, but my art WILL look like shit with some problem here and there, and there.....and there.....you get the idea. If I have something to say that isn't me bitching about the images, then ill put it in the comments section, otherwise, its probably going to be little to no explanations about the picture.

got a call from my dad yesterday sometime while I slept. He didn't sound good, maybe sick, depressed, or i don't know, but it made me feel guilty cuz I haven't talked to him in a long time, nor visited due to his and mine work schedule being almost complete polar opposites.

Decided to make a plan, draw a picture every night while on my half an hour break while at work as a means to force myself to draw faster, get better at detail, and regain my love for doing traditional artwork. Also as a means to pump out more adoptable ideas/designs to finalize. Might also draw random monster thingies.

Just wondering if anybody knows of any decent recording programs for the computer, to record well say, drawing. Everything I look for either A: doesn't work, or b: records stupidly high values that I dontlike.
That being said, if there's something that doesn't give a watermark, thatd be nice. I can buy a recording program, so long as it's not super expensive, but again, only if it records to a decent file size, and doesn't leave a watermark. Action! leaves a watermark, and you can purchase the program for $20, but nothing tells me if the watermark goes away if I bought the full version. Gameclaw records 8 second videos as 2 gigs, so, I ain't using that (and no, I can't find a "file size", setting. And fraps decides to record 5 second videos, and everything else I've tried didnt even run (I downloaded one program, went to install it, got a missing file. So 6 downloads later I say fuck it, it's not worth my time.

Anybody know any suggestions that might work for me?

Jesus, my scanner was running while im uploading, and im uploading while my scanner was running. But all my sketches, doodles and WIP for adoptables are done. I had a few other adoptable designs done on scrap paper, but after looking at them, I realized they looked WAY too much like certain things (the Gurb adoptable mature form looked like metagross from pokemon -headdesk- so needless to say, that got scraped quickly)

printer/scanner/fax arrived about half an hour ago, been going through installation of it since. But its FINALLY in, now I get to search for all those papers and scan them in for you guys ^.^

So, phoned yesterday about my scanner, turns out its not on warranty so I had to pay to have a refurbished one sent to me Monday morning, from hp. I dont mind though, it was my stupid fault to not phone in sooner and have it fixed. Can't blame a company for my mistake. So that should be arriving in the morning from what they said, so I should have a ton of doodle/sketches uploaded Monday, 99% of them will probably go in scraps, just as a headsup. Also alot will be old sketches, ie: pre completion phytogast mature adoptible, etc. Others might be adoptables yet to be done. I only say might be, because after I sketched them I put them in my "important papers" bin. Which is a large blue bin with ALOT of important papers, ranging from doodle sketches, to bills and pay stubs, etc. Only problem, that's buried in the storage closet, since mom packed it full of stuff. So I have to find the bin, then search for all the doodles. But on the bright side.IMA HAVE A SCANNER AGAIN -cries tears of joy-
All the scanning and uploading and FINALLY being able to do the adoptables on a regular basis!

Im not sure if I can swing a stream, only because my computer doesn't seem to be as good as it was before, and last time I tried to stream way back when, it kept cutting in and out. But I'll see if I can do something. Not making any promises. But at least I can work on people's art again.

Ps: people might be like "why do you need a scanner to do digital art?". Im weird, im not able to just draw something using a tablet. For some reason I need to do a traditional sketch, scan it, then do it digitally. Something about that form of drawing makes it easier for me to do digital artwork, iuhnno why, but it does x33.

And then im done at this hotel. I'll be finishing off on September 8, my shift will end me at 9 am. And, depending on how that day goes, and how parental my mother gets. I could work on art for the whole day so I get some things done, or she'll give me a boot and tell me to hand out resumes for the rest of the day (of course depending on wether or not some place I've already applied to dont contact me back). Im personally hoping for the first, because I get to get more adoptables done, get some cards from that deck of cards project I made years back, and resume charems comic request, not in that exact order.

That's what id LIKE to do, now lets see if that actually happens.
In the meantime, I'll be working on one or two of the adoptables today when I get home, I hope. Im aiming to at least have the lineworks done for one of them, if nobody bugs me at home, I might even be able to get 2 done. Hopefully all goes according to plan.

Been watching Hellraiser and doodlin, doodled a fat bunny week picture inspired by Hellraiser. Probably the only time I've ever enjoyed the idea of a bunny with an eating disorder, lol.
Gonna try to get some adoptibles done tomorrow. So far, looking forward to the MoLok at the least having a legitimate doodle done, instead of just bits and pieces. Hoping to get either the phytogast done, or the blind dartish. And doodles/sketches to be done of the starska. Also have work doodle airstarska sketches done. Probably the only adoptible I wish were real. Starska too freakin cute!!

Also looking for a new job, I can't keep up with this work shift and taking 5 or 6 melatonin pills to go to sleep on time x.x
I need a 'normal' person's job, one with less stress, and less pills required for me to function in some way.

Also watched a game of thrones, episode 9 of season 3, funniest and most appealing episode of the show EVER, to date that is.

Work last night (Saturday night) was bothersome. Noise complaint about people being loud, the usual, except these loud people were 20+ American and Canadian legion guests. Did my job, asked them to tone it down and all. Did my follow up on the complaint, STILL complained about the noise. So being the server I am, I try to remedy the situation. Now I have legion guests mad im asking them to be even more quiet, and another guest that is mad cuz they can't sleep. Third warning gives me the right to phone the police to have the "rowdy company" removed......was it mentioned these legion guests marched WITH THE POLICE THAT DAY? Woops, forgot that part.
Now, break it down. 20+ people never come back to this hotel after coming here for 32 years in a row (33 this year), and all write up their own complaints to head office. Or, 1 guest is very mad, writes his own complaint, gets a refund, and never comes here again......I wonder how mad my manager will be when I talk to her when she comes in at around 8. I hope im not in too much trouble T^T

Customer service people, try to avoid it, or at least make sure people are wearing steeltoes, because your always stepping on somebody's toes no matter what you do to make people happy.

Holiday Monday, means time and a half on 8 hours :D

That, and with it being a Monday, im free from work again until Thursday. So in the meantime, im devoting tomorrow to art, and fixing my scanner. I found some websites that have suggestions on how to fix it. And if all else fails, I'll have to pay to get it sent back to the company so the fix the damn thing, cuz it's collecting too much dust. If I cant get it fixed today, I'll call the company tomorrow to take their lemon. Hopefully my family will be like "oh, your trying to fix that? We'll leave you alone then", and not "like we care what you try to do. Quite being useless and let me waste more of your money!" cuz that about sums it up.

Im also getting my hair cut Tuesday or Wednesday. 1 inch long, screw you frizzy hair!!

And depending on if I get the scanner working, I might be able to load all my traditional WIP, but again, only if I can get it working.

And before all this happens, ima clean up the stuff I want in my computer, and then get rid of the junk I dont need. Hopefully I can clean up some gigs off my computer.

There's so much more im doing tomorrow as well. Hopefully it turns out to be an amazing day.

Anybody else remember this cartoon as a kid?
Just recently I started going through a fanboi craze of it again (for the third time). I always loved that show, from the moment I had seen one episode, it interested me. I also really liked how the main character was a girl, well, a woman. It was different, for me, being a boy, and watching a show.whose main character was a female, and didnt have their outfit revealing alot of skin, forearm, face, and neck, that was it. No short shorts, skimpy skirts, cleavage, nothing like that. She was a more conservative character in regards to her outfit and personality. It was cool, to me, to see a woman in power, that had to protect the big, muscled male. It also pushed some boundaries, ie: cybersix was a female, but passed off as a male......English teacher? Or was it history? It's been forever since I watched the whole thing. But you had her liking her college (the big muscular male), a female student liking her male alter ego.
And despite all this, it was still a show that was suitable for a kid at the age of 11. It had jokes in it, easy to understand situations of seriousness where the viewers knew something was wrong, and still kept them interested, and made it easy to follow. The only downside, it was only a 13 episode show, that ended off with a "what's next?" kind of ending, and yet, had no sequel, or continuation.

Some of the characters were absolute riots. Hoasey was a hilarious, incompetent child who thought he was all that and a bag of chips, but yet, despite his jokes and lack of success, was still a threat at times. His father....whose name eludes me, but I think it had von in his name, was always this man wrapped in shadows, even till the end, his face was half shrouded. And always had this overbearing sense of domination, and evil intellect. It was a really good show that I definately miss. Anybody else ever watch Cybersix?
And if the answer is yes, did anybody else have people assume you were saying cyberSEX? That had to be the most annoying part for me when im telling people about it. "it's called cybersex? Ew"

Nah, not really. But 2 journals in less then 5 hours, from me, feels like im spamming you guys.
Then again, the last journal was more of a content update, or rather, submission, then anything. Reviewing movies for The Fluffhouse kind of got me stuck in it. But anyways, im off topic.

So, over time, I've been recreating (due to my external dying) stories of characters to Life's Unaverage and Coincidental Rendezvous. Some of them....ok, ALL of them aren't anywhere near complete. Not even the Reaper rules are complete (though I do have a basic structure so far). As well as some of the adoptable WIP sketches as well. I know some of the owners want to see what I got done so far, so im going to upload those today at some point (due to there being so many, and none of them being complete, im only posting the image, and not doing the bio for them like I do for the finished image, like before).

Now, the adoptable images are WIP sketches, and nothing is definate yet, so the owners can have their say in changes, if they so wish~ just be sure to let me know what you want (I know I already talked to some owners, but if they see what I got so far, and dont like it, let me know and I can alter it accordingly).

As for the stories and that, im debating on submitting them before I start up CR and LU, or if I should submit them during, that way it has more continuity. Of course, this won't be for awhile, as I still have the deck of cards to make (and due to my current job, I can afford making them :D
After that, or even at the same time, I have charem's comic to do, which I've got the second page framework done, so with that done, I can actually start the drawing process in the frames. All that's left now is to grt my printer/scanner fixed, and im calling into HP today to see if they can help me. And if not, im bringing it back to the store I got it at to have them fix it. Good things are happening today my friends :D

So, we unfortunately didnt get to watch pacific rim on dray's birthday, due to us missing the playtime that was best for us (or rather me. Not sleeping after a midnight shift and then staying up till 7:30 pm to watch a movie, and make a REAL review of it would be impossible for myself). So instead we went to laser quest, one of the best laser tag places I've EVER been in my childhood. It was a blast, sort of a treat for me and dray, even though it was for dray's birthday, hehe.

But do not despair, I did watch pacific rim eventually on my time off of work.

The cinematic were/are good. The creature designs are definately interesting, I myself enjoyed them, considering my fanaticism with things not natural.

So, for those who dont know what the movie is about. There's this portal, or as the movie calls it "rift" somewhere in the pacific ocean, where monsters from somewhere else comes through. Not on a daily basis, but in the beginning, it was few and far between. Humans were like "well shit, we gotta defend ourselves". So they made giant robots called yiegers (sorry for any misspelling). Now, im not going to go into detail about alot of things, but in short, with every alien movie, the bad guys want earth for its resources, and wanna kill us off.
The acting was good, and so was the cg. But there was still alot of questions on HOW things came to be. Ie: how were those massive robots repaired in under 14 hours?
Character development was there, but there wasnt much to it outside of "I had a traumatic experience", and that was about it. Of course characters grew more into the movie, but in history wise, you didnt get much depth. Ie: this guy is military, something bad happened, the end. And in the development side of things, it was kinda, eh. But I guess it swings with the military side of things, keeping relations professional and all, which is good, but it kind of shot down the whole feeling for the character (I like seeing characters die, but only so I can see reactions to the other characters, andin this movie, I knew id be left unhappy with any experience like that).

They gone? Ok, anybody who reads this, it's not plotline spoiler, but more combat spoiler. So, the robots, Yiegers, usually go at a 1:1 ratio. Ie: yieger kills alien, yieger gets destroyed, so it's kind of an even trade.....sorta. So anyways, with that ratio in mind. They have this sword, similar to Ivy's, from Soul Caliber 2. And they dont take it out till near the end of the movie, at which point, their practically 1 shotting keiju's with it. Why the fuck not use it in the BEGINNING of the movie?! Plothole question right there. That's the end of the spoiler, just the mention of the sword.

It was an entertaining movie. One of those movies you can't give to much thought into, in terms of storyline. But it's definately worth a watch. They use the fighting sparingly, which I like. So the movie actually has some plot to it, and isn't just 2 hours of cinematics of things trying to kill each other. BUT, it did have one big selling point for me. I kinda fanboi'd for this. They have the actor for Hellboy in it, the same guy that was also in -shudders- Alien Ressurection. That was definately a high point for the movie, or maybe just myself.

A definately watch, and if you have a Godzilla collection, id say this is definately worth getting put in there. May not be Godzilla, but as a kaiju movie, it had its high points, despite the problems.
Hope this review helped you decide in your choice for this movie folks. Hopefully we can get The Basement going again, so I can do these reviews more often, but for that to happen, you guys gotta give dray a kick in the pants for me, cuz me doing it ain't doing nothing, lol.

What class should I pick? I've already made the sneakiest shaman that's ever lived. Dr. Faust remade as an alchemist with an affinity for spears (unfortunately D&D doesn't have giant scalpel as a weapon). My main character was a summoner with the best, most well dressed squirrel any D&D world could ever have.
Im looking for something different. Like, the world's strongest (physically) wizard ever, or the smartest barbarian, or something like that. Using pathfinder D&D, shoulda mentioned that sooner, lol. Any one have suggestions?~

We had these guys from a lawn company (you know those companies that make your lawn look good, cuz you totally care what people think of just how green your weeds are). So these guys are outside Wednesday day, doing what they do, and somehow (I believe the term aerating was used to describe the work) while they were doing some work, they accidentally damaged the cord for our services to the house. A guy came by Thursday day to fix it, and it got fixed. So we got tv, phone, and internet returned to us, yay~

And cuddling is it's game. Im mot sure what the hell it is, or really how the hell it came to be, but after looking at this fur pattern on a dog in the newspaper, I got this creature idea. It's black, fluffy, and loves to cuddle. Doodle of it after doodles of adoptibles are done......or is it an adoptible itself? DundunDUUUUUUUN!!!
