Im hopefully going to have some time to phone HP about ky funky fresh scanner, and see about getting it fixed/working. Ontop of that, if I can not be disturbed by family, work on some more adoptable doodles. Some people still havent replied to my notes, so they have until the other sketches are done before I continue on as planned.
Im also going to be taking progress pictures of the things im working on wood. Not sure that much people will care, but at least it's something to keep me busy with that my family can't interfere with. At least, without feeling intimidated by me. Trenton holding a metal grinder, and some one tells me to stop cuz their more important......rrrriiiiggghhhhttt, heh

Shingeki no kyojin, or as I've seen some people call it "attack on titan", but I like the Japanese name better~

Pretty good anime, only got its 5th episode I think yesterday. Of course, with most amines I watch, there is....not what id call gore, but it is bloody. I like the story to it. The first episode gives the story (naturally). Humanity became under attack by these massive, humanoid beings they called titans. So to save themselves, they built a 50 meter tall, and 8 meter thick wall around this massive plot of land to save themselves. 100 years later, and their still struggling to survive since the remaining whole human population is all that's left within this massive city.

And there's vore in it too, for anyone whose into watching people be made into crunchy little snacks too, lol. The detail that was done in making the titans so terrifying is remarkable. There's one scene in the first or second episode that just makes you shudder, 'I' even got creeped out by it, so that's saying something. You'll know the scene when you see it people. Definately an anime I want to watch to its completion~
I LOVE the devices the soldiers use to move around with in combat, its such a cool device.
I also like the opening song, something about the instrumentals is pretty amazing to me.

im not too sure WHAT it was exactly, but it was definately beautiful, and lvoely, and I wanted to snuggle the damn thing for every dream I've ever had and ever will have.

the whole dream wasn't too much important, but more so the plant. I freakin loved this plant (no seriously. You know that love you feel for your dog, your favourite cat, that one pet you care for in the whole world? yah, I had that for a PLANT!~)

so anyways, in my dream, it was this weird little plant/ It had a bell shaped flower, it had these weird little pincer root things it used as legs, and had 2 little holes on the sides of its base. The plant was about a total of a foot tall. It had a small branch/stem that the flower was attached to, but the flower moved side to side, like a head. The inside of the flower had 2......whats the word for those stalks inside of the flower that holds the pollen that it uses to help reproduce? well, it had 2 of those inside of the flower, except those were its eyes! The flower itself was often times angled like a bellsprout from pokemon, so it actually looked like a mouth, but when I wore it (yes, I WORE it, the thing clung to my shirt with its little root feet and opened its flower big and could see everything, and went with me everywhere~<3 ) the stalk for its head/flower was attached to a large, baseball sized green mass, which had the 2 holes on both sides of it. The plant was relatively light, and felt like it didn't weigh a thing, and it had this lovely scent, and warmth to it.
the two holes on either side of that green mass could open wide, or contract to make themselves small. But when it opened the holes wide, 4 small, pinkish red seedlings that looked similar to the flower head came out, except they had tiny iddy bitty root feet that allowed them to move around. I remember at one point, I as saying how I was thirsty, and when I went to get up, the plant opened these holes the seedlings came out, walked into the kitchen, and collectively carried me a glass of water, as I picked it up, they crawled up the chair, and went back inside of the plant. And they can cut too, I actually had the seedlings helping me cut some food to prepare for cooking, and they spun themselves really fast, and sliced the food up right quick, and shook off the juices when they were done. I think what really got me attracted to the plant, and had feelings for it, was the fact it had sentience. It could understand my words, and knew the english language. It wasn't just a plant, but a living being, maybe it was a creature that looked like a plant, or maybe the plant was a creature itself. But I freakin loved this little guy, and it wanted to be worn on my dress shirt where ever I went, and I broguth it along with me every chance I had.

This involves me voicing my opinion about upcoming movies. If you dont care, then pass on by. And yes, this can be a discussion journal for all I care.

So, their making a WoW movie. As in World of Warcraft movie, with the orcs and humans and the undead and stuff. But.....why?.....just......why?
I dont know what to say about this. But it's probably going to be another Tron: Legacy. And by what I mean by that is that im so dumbfounded by the idea, that IF I go to see this, if it's above what I expectto see, it's going to recieve a good review. Now mostly, thats how movies go, they beat your expectations, your happy. But like I said, it's a tron legacy situation. Which translates to, "if it's not the total piece of crap I expect it to be, im impressed". Now the reason why I watched legacy? Dray suggested we watch it to troll. If not for dray, I still would have never watches the movie cuz I was that adamant about not watching it. Same goes for this WoW movie, unless it involves the whole fight between that one guy.......illidan? And the lich king and all that stuff, or much of the big fights, but dueto those ones taking place over multiple years, my expectations won't be met, which means it's going to go to my other expectation, which involves me never watching the movie.

Same goes for The Justice League movie. Im a big fan of the JL, but if they have it committed to "we're only going to do it if this other movie is good", then you shouldn't have mentioned it at all.
There's so many things I could go on about, and I have the crotchety old man mentality to do it too, but im not. They have 3 years, or rather, 2.5 years to sway my mind on my expectations. But im fine with my current judgements.

It was bad enough they had a WoW expansion advertisement when me and dray last went to the movies, in the freakin previews! Thank gods I had only seen the ending 2 seconds of it when I came back from the washroom.

Ps: incase people think im insulting WoW, im not. I liked the game before I had people take it too seriously. It's fun, the story is good, gameplay and all that, and the freedom of what you can do is so fun~ -lightning strike in the background- im done being Mr. Expert! Im now, Mr. ManAndLegs~

On the bright side however, happy Chinese new years ^w^

So, after many check ins, and alot of time out in the cold snow and wind walking around doing security rounds, making sure all is good, and the 20 pounds of paperwork, I finally had a moment to dewdle~<3
And I decided, I need more archaids.

The archaid, or Arch for short (pronounced Ark) is a device that connects to the body of the person, fusing with them to become part of them, creating a symbiotic relationship. It fuses, and then is given am order by the technician installing it. The order governs its functionality to a degree. For example, you loss your arm in an accident or something, an Arch is able to be installed to replace your arm. Now, it's not capable of lifting cars, or bending dense objects. It's used like a prosthetic arm, except you have full control over it.

Am archaid cannot be used to replace a body, not that you cant try, but it has yet to ever succeed.

Now that you know what an archaid is. I dewdled another archaid fused character, except she's more of a comic relief character. I have a few other ideas, including fixing up Jessica the drug bunny (nother archaid character). And I still have yet to do a decent doodle of Ark. I might try doodlin some of them when I get home, after my blood test is done
Now id only I could get my scanner working x.x

I got given some news recently that has actually got me crying. I dont cry much, a sniffle maybe, even a tear barely held back at my cousins funeral. But this, this actually had me in full crying tears sniffling, disaster. Probably because im at work and barely have to interact with people. Hell, this journal has been written so far over the course of an hour up to this point as I attempt to get my shit together.

So, I was told, recently tonight......a friend of mine was in a car collision, and that......yah, cant say it. And......I dont know......I just, dont know. Manic was an amazing girl. She always acted tough, but shehad a soft side to her. She said what she thought, but she was nice about it. She was a really great person, and an amazing mate to my friend Yu. They were really great together. I couldn't ever expect or even think of this happening ever to some one so close to me. Manic was an amazing person, she was a close friend, a loving mate, and a truely wonderful person I had the honor of meeting. I couldn't see any of my friends go through the same thing I did 6 years ago. And it's because of that, im going to do my damned best I can to help yu.
Nothing going on tomorrow. Im drawing for manic. Maybe talking, I dont know. We'll figure it out when I stop wiping up tears.

About 12 feet tall, black, lithe, with 2 large legs, barefoot. Her toes ended in talons, her human shaped hands were claws. Her face was hidden behind a black mask, but the mask was human shaped in appearance. Her back had several appendages. One were what appeared to be wings, slightly. They stuck out from her back, only one bone segment jutted up and out, no other indication as to if they were wings, or only just bone spikes ment for impalement.
The second set of appendages were another set of arms, but they reached from her midsection downto the floor, and went back up. They were thin, and oddly shaped. It wasnt until you got to a different angle you realize that they had mouths attached to them. Not, there was a mouth in the hand or arm, but that the arm itself was a mouth. Lower and upper jaw, fully functional, lined with dozens of sharp, pointed teeth.

She wore no clothing, but she wasnt naked, odd plating, like chitin plating on beatles and insects. Her skin was a steely, slate grey, and her plating was black, with small accents of white and red. Her voice was soft, but vile. Like the characters you see on television, you dont know their personality, but just from their voice, you know they're gonna be a bitch. Verra is, and proud of it. You can hear it in her voice, how she recognises some one, and speaks down to them.

There was more to her figure, but I couldn't see it all too well in my state. It seemed to meld and fuse with the environment she created for me. In the darkness she watched, and enjoyed my terror.

She is verra, and she has called herself queen of my nightmares.

Why do my dreams make their own characters? Or, if we go by my belief system, why do my dreams have to introduce me to such beings? I have a hard enough time dealing with my current reality, I dont need to be constantly thrown into a new, gorefest reality as well DX

except it was MY WORLD. I mean it was MINE, I knew it was mine because of everything to it. It was like what would happen if people made hell on earth and tossed in 60 gallons of acid to go with it. I can't remember exactly WHERE I woke up in the dream (im beginning to think my drams don't have me just appear, but they actually have me wake up, like as if the real world is my dream and the dream is reality). So, I awoke in this strange place, im not even sure where it was exactly, it looked like the multi-tiered parking lot area that they usually have next to a mall, with the ramps leading up and down to the next floors. Cars were scattered everywhere, some burnt, some rusted, and some frozen in this white icey-crystal formation with people still inside, frozen as well. The gore.......enough said, there was gore, and lots of it. I was working my way to find a ramp when I actually found the exit! (you know, those long tunnels with the glass walls for you to see outside as your walking to the mall, usually suspended in the air as you do so?). So as I opened up the door, the tunnel was mostly gone, aside from a few pieces of steel that lead to the larger building (im still assuming a mall here). I look down to see how high up I was. And what did I see? Nothing, just this swirling black and red mist of I-don't-know-what-the-hell. I look up to the sky, and I see the ground, in just as much torn chaos and destruction and gore as the parkinglot floor I was on. Oh, and I found pieces of the tunnel, IE: small pieces of flat rock, floating there, like as if I was on the roof and the roof was actually the floor. I couldn't get to the ceiling/floor to get across the stones, and even then, no telling if the stones would fall or not. So I gave up and went back to the parking lot.

I meandered around again until everything goes black. (I say everything goes black cuz thats when my memory of that location ends). I come to again underground, or what I presume to be underground. There was railroad tracks, so maybe a subway or something, im not sure. Except to my left, where the tracks would have continued, they were mangled and twisted and destroyed, and there was no ground under them, like as if something made this massive hole in the earth and the tracks gave out under them (from the way they looked, I'd assume the train or whatever was supposed to be on these tracks fell in, because I could see small glitters of metal in the same red and black mist reflecting some of the light from the fires burning varous corpses (don't even remind me of the small!!). So I noticed motion in the black mist, and noises, not the usual destructive noises such as rocks or fire or anything, no, motion, like something was down there. But there was no motion i could see at all. I continued on, moving on and around cars, and came to this fence blocking off the massive hole, and thats when I had seen the things that were making the noises.

They stood about 5 feet tall, mostly long thin legs, quadraped creatures, black matted fur (maybe from the blood from the corpses cuz these definately weren't friendly). Their body made up for about 20% of their height. The back was hunched over, like as if some one crossed a dog with.......hunchback of notradam (fuck you this is my first time spelling the damn place). Its back had large spikes jutting out from it (reminescent of Hark's spikes to her sealing armor). Its mouth was a tiny hole, with an extended, long tongue with various spikes and barbs on it, its eyes were hollowed out black sockets, but still seemed able to see. It smelt bad, and i mean baaaaaad. The burning corspes in the tunnel didn't match to this things stench.

These things were crawling out of the hole in the ground (more like a crate I'd say), and some were moving slowly, like as if they just climbed out of it, their long, thin legs slowly moving them along. As for the ones further up (they were moving more like you'd expect a caravan, or pilgramiage, in a straight line behind one another to their destination), and therefore, closer to me moved, they gradually got slower and slower until finally, they seemed to be motionless, and the ones closest to me (ones I could touch) were frozen in that strange white crystal ice stuff. It wasn't cold, and there was no sense of warmth to them, like as if they were only stone.

I continued on, found a stairwell and went up, I found this weird guy. I say weird because I have no memory of him at all, like I've never seen him before, but he was saying about how I owe him for saving him. he asked me if I had tried to eat, or killed any one/thing. I replied back, "Ya I killed. I had to kill one of those damn things to get here. I even tried eating it, but nothing happened! I saw it a minute later like there was nothing wrong with it, no wounds, no bites, nothing!"
"Then, even if you try to eat. nothing happens to the source?"
"I don't know. Why?"
"Well, you DO owe me?"
"What? No! Get away from me!"
"Come on, just a bite, im so hungry"
and he moved on me, but his mouth wasn't human anymore. It became this massive mouth of mangled teeth, some sharp and pointed, others chipped and broken like as if he tried to take a bite out of a steel plate or something. I shoved him off me and pulled my gun out. I tried to shove him off the staires (the staires he was on were broken, the place where the staires should be lead back down to the tracks and vehicles. it looked to be about a good 30 feet up) but he wouldn't budge. His large mouth still open and gaping, like he was just waiting for me to drop my guard. I tried backing up, but the door was locked, and to take my eyes off the guy (who was wearing a janitor outfit by the way, slightly bald, grey hair, about 6 feet tall, maybe 185/200, looked to be in his 50's at least) would surely means he would take a bite out of me. And for some reason, I had a feeling it'd be the neck, a nice big soft, chewy chunk from the neck, the pain would be immense and I'd probably die, maybe one of the big reasons why me trying to take a bite out of a monster, and a monster trying to take a bite out of me would be so different, I don't heal nearly as quick.

I heard a voice telling me to get down, I turned around and took a step to the right, just then a dagger came flying from between the door's bars (imagine prison bars but as a door). The dagger hit the thing in the mouth, going into the mouth and slightly out the back of its throat/cheek, on an angle. It fell backwards and the guy who threw it was telling me to unlock the door asap. I tried but it didn't work. so I shot the lock and started to move, but then I heard a noise. The new person (apparently he was one of my friends) told me not to look, but I did. The things body started to shake, and the chest expanded, tearing the flesh and this rithing mound of tendrils or tentacles or worms or SOMETHING came out of its chest, wiggling and flailing, the mouth had the same thing happening. The guy who saved me grabbed my hand telling me to run. As we're running (apparently this monster in this state was DAMN fast and strong!) the friend is telling me apparently the monster is a parasitic kind, and right now the body is dying, so its trying to move to a new host by releasing its spores, and we had to survive for roughly 5 minutes while the spores were being wasted chasing us down these halls and through these rooms. Thankfully there was no ventilation, so we didn't have to worry about the whole place being filled with them.

We ran from room to room, never stopping (that thing was literally behind us, like, 7 feet at most). Everytime we got to a door, we opened it and closed it behind us, trying to see if we could lock it, but we couldn't. So while I TRIED to hold the door shut, my friend was finding another door, and then as soon as the monster stopped banging on the door for that one second, I ran for it and my firned opened the door and we were off again. We did this for several doors (by my count, before I woke up, we were at 15), but then we hit a dead end. it was a tiled hallway, like wahsroom/shower tiles in a public reck center for when you go before/after swimming. We had gone through 3 doors before when it changed to these tiles from the common grey concrete walls of the maintenance hallways. Th last door had no lock, no doorknob, and they were tiles, we had no grip to keep the door closed, especially not against that thing, and we had no way out. I tried one last door, trying my hardest, my absolute best to open it with my fingers at the seems, trying to pry it open (there was no indication of a lock to the door, and from what I could see, the other side had no knob either, so it was only just sitting there). I tried and tried, but couldn't get it. A second later my friend got pushed back from the door. The spores were at the door trying to get in. I tried harder, but still couldn't get it. I checked my pockets, but I had nothing to help me lift it. If only we had that knife used to kill the spore thing, we could open the door easily, but to let it in here even for a second would kill us instantly.

The thing banged against the door again, knocking my friend to the wall I was at. It stood there for a moment before a loud weezing sound was heard, and the mass of worms/tendrils grew larger. I turned my head away and said, "Im so sorry. Pause!"

Now, for those who may not know me too well, I have a slight capability to control my dreams. Not to the point I can make stuff appear, or do anything I want. I can only control time, and that is to stop, freeze-frame, or, in simpler terms. Pause the dream. The thing is though, when I pause the dream, I emediately count down from 3 to 1, and then I wake-up. So I did it. I woke up, and wrote down my dream asap.
Why did I apologize to my freind? Because I left him there to die. I could have stayed so he didn't die alone, but I didn't. I was terrified to have myself, my mind become dead, and my body used as some parasitic being's vessel to do its own dirty work because it wasn't born with the body like ours to survive without a host form.

details I realized I left out. Bloody tiled hallways, broken and decrepid concrete hallways, and as we ran, that same stench from those dog things was around us, and varous places had that frozen stuff on the walls and such, but we didn't react the same way we should have like if we were running on ice.
PS: Why I never shot the running spores with the gun? I had this feeling like even if I had used a full clip on the thing, it'd still be chasing us.

Major long bad dream I had just about half an hour ago (I've been typing for half an hour, yes). And you know what makes this WHOLE dream bad? I left my friend to die to that damn thing. Thats what made it a bad dream, otherwise, it would have been considered a normal dream.
and yes, yes I did forget to put my crystals under my pillow before I went to sleep. They were upstaires in my coat pocket while I was asleep. So, shame on me, I deserve this dream for forgetting them.

So, while I was working on my 15 pounds of paperwork, I think I finally got a design for a feral Trent. I always had silly or not so creative ideas, or even just ideas I didnt really like, but this one I actually enjoy, and it looks kinda cool to me, something im actually liking, hehe.

After I get done work, and I have something to eat, im going to stream today. Chances are it won't be for very long, and most likely not alot of people can make it since it's so early to be streaming, but im going to attempt it, if my computer permits it. My external is freaking out lately, and my computer ie kinda backed up with alot of junk. So on the way home, I might also buy a new external, since I can afford it now.

PS: no im not going to buy dray the mechromancer expansion thingy for borderlands2. And im only making a note of it here to tease him about it, lol

pk, so, after being at work today, I realized I had to do an actual review of The Dark Knight Rises since honestly, what I did was rude, low, and very uncalled for. I may have felt betrayed by what I had seen in what they could call a "batman" movie, but that still didn't make it acceptable with that crap of a rude piece of crap review that was.

Ok, so a NON-bias review of the Dark Knight Rises (im going to leave out any/all references to how Batman should be to help remove the bias-ness and just fandom nerd calling from the review, and act like I hadn't seen any other Batman movie before)

So, first off, lets begin with acting. It was very well played, and alot of moments in the movie with how you saw the characters react made it seem very realistic (thats the point of movies after all).

The movie was a bit slow in the beginning, in about the first hour, hour and a half, but during that time was just sort of planting the seed. Character development, introduction of new characters, etc, it was all leading towards a gloarious climax, which wasn't even really the fulle xtent of the movie, just a big turning point.

Bane was well done, but alot of the times I had difficulties (as well as others from what I've heard), had difficulties understanding what he was saying at points. You also don't get to find out exactly WHY he needs the mask. You only find out something painful happened, but not as to why he wears it.

Batman again, was difficult to understand (just like in previous movies), especially in one instance of the movie when hes shouting to some one asking for something. It just sounded kinda garbl-language, but given the situation, it was understandable. The plot of the movie was good, progressing through one idea to the next and it flowed pretty well. They had a really great twist too added in. They also had some pretty good humour, and a few good lessons planted in there without you even knowing it.

BUT, despite the movie being focused yet again on Gotham City (its supposed to after all, its where it all takes), you don't really get to see too much of the civilians. I mean, you see some, but considering the size of the city, you see alot more thugs then actual civilians. They also had a few things end short in it, mostly on a single relationship in the story (relationships are friendships too!). Some characters were a bit strange, or played differently then you'd expect, but completely played against the entire cast even till the near end of the movie. (its REALLY hard to comment about any character in the movie without spoiling it, so you guys have to go with me on this)

Now, if you haven't watched Batman, never knew about Batman, and didn't eat sleep and drink Batman when you were a kid, You will definately enjoy the movie. The characters are rich, they don't toss you into a movie and go "have at it". Because its the third movie in a series of movies, theres already plenty character depth to it and everything, which REALLY helps play out characters, and really make the Batman world an actual living, breathing place, and not just some fictional place written on a piece of paper. You feel for the characters.

Now, if you were the opposite of the above statement about Batman as a kid, you probably won't enjoy it, but thats on the bias side of things because their trying to turn the nerd/geek things of our childhood and make them popculture, and when you try to correct people on it, you still get called a geek/nerd (if you tell me thats not true, I slap you).

The Dark Knight Rises gets a 8/10. A recommended watch, and if your a cinofile (I think thats what Dray calls himself), then you might also want to buy it. A second or third watch through reveals things you never noticed before in the movie. Though I myself wouldn't sit down for another 6 hours of Batman, but some people I know have, and they liked it all the same. But a recommended watc, and suggested buy if your going for the whole set of current Dark Knight movies.

After examining several animes, and even reading over some segments of Life's Unaverage, I realized that to really emphasize the ferality and beastial rage/fighting style of a character, the character attacks quickly, doesn't talk, and usually at some point mentions/insinuates hunger/the need to feed. I know people dont really care, and will probably just skip this journal, but it's just something I noticed, and was looking to ask a question.
Since theres so many shows out there with the whole feral fighting style at some point in time, would it make it seem like im following the group when I have similar scenes in Life's Unaverage?

Ive had people tell me I copied somebody and just ripped off some one's idea, and I really dont want to have that happen again (and really, in the furry fandom, there isn't much originality anymore since somebody has done something at least once, but that doesn't mean that some one is copying). I just dont want it seem like im following the crowd, because, I dont know about other people's stuff, but mine has a reason behind it, explaining the change in personality, how far one would go to protect another, and signify that theres something darker ahead.

Just some cragon banter while on break, time to go, loves ya all~<3

Such a weird looking creature; with her crimson red skin, and black plated forearms, and her strangely long fingers, with sharp talons (more like just common nails then talons if anything). The Enhaul herself is actually a beast seperate from the impish race that began calling her their queen. What she is the queen of is a mystery even to myself.

She has long slender legs in the same black plating as her arms. I have witnessed these plates are actually a form of natural weapon. The plates seem to pull away from her flesh, and ignite by some strange form of magic, creating a flaming blade attached to her skin, which is horribly scarred and burned underneath, clearly not immune to her own flames. Her head is adorned with many spikes and horns along the forehead, with an extended skull to further the large horns, I presume it to be the mark of her kind's royal stature. She has an exceptionally large mouth when fully opened, but rarely ever does so unless feeding, at which point its much like a snakes' mouth, the lower jaw dislocates from the skull, and she begins to feed. Though her skin is not as elastic as the snakes', she must be careful on what she consumes as it could tear her flesh, signified by many scars around the throat and asophogus area, either from combat, or by over-consumption. she has thousands of thin, long barbed teeth inside of her maw, perfect for ripping and tearing the flesh of her victims to make more bite sized meals.

Her back is covered in the same black plating as her forearms and legs, but I presume it to be more of a shell rather then anything else, to help protect her behind if anyone were to ever sneak up on her from behind. But even if anyone were to do so, with the large spikes and throns sticking from her back, they best be silent and nt miss their mark, for one slip up, and she would drive herself backwards into her victim, and with her, the large spikes into them as well.

She talks much of this 'message', calling herself a 'Herald' of things to come. In one instance, It was discovered on a dig, a pictograph was discovered on a wall of a creature with many similarities to the Enhaul. Though in a different language, it translated to. "I am the herald, and you mortals shall die before the message". Though this image was badly withered and decaying from the ages, there were many similarities to our current Enhaul and the image's. I am not certain if there are more Enhaul out there, or if there is just one. But I fear to discover what this 'message' is if she is but the messenger.

The real question, who is the one who sent her?

im at the beginning of Act 2, and theres already been 3 instances (before Act 3) that make you go, "What?!" and not like a "oh my gods I can't believe that!" kind of what, but more like a "what the hell is this shit?!", and makes you wanna rip your hair out with how random it is.

and its not just me that's noticed it either, Dray has seen a few of these instances that make no sense, or feels like it was just made to happen just to help the story along, without the idea that some people actually WANT some form of logic behind it.

Last thing. Why is it that people tell me Diablo 3 is so great, yet all I feel like is a companies' bitch?

Each human day (real life time span) translates to 2 days in adoptable adoptable time. These time charts are made for human time, so 2 weeks in real life translates to 4 weeks (1 month), in adoptable.



Q:"But Trent, why did you do that?"

A: To give the adoptables more of a feel like their actually AGING and growing, and evolving over time. This isn't one of those silly adoptables where it goes "heres this adoptable character that looks the exact same as all the other adoptables, but with a different colour scheme." NO, this is much better, each adoptable is a different species (unless asked for specific species, at which point another will be made, yes, I said MADE, not just recoloured!)



Q: "How do I know what species im getting?"

A: Simple, before I make the egg, I ask you ahead of time, what are you looking for in the adoptable. Cute and cuddly? scary and menacing? or maybe something different? After I get an idea of what the adoptable will look like, I make the egg, and start considering the evolutions emediately.



Q:"But Trent, how much are these adoptables? I don't have alot of money."

A: You really think im going to charge you for an adoptable? tsk tsk. But don't worry, don't feel bad for thinking that, you just don't know that I wanted to do this for FREE, and its FREE, because I like FREE things. So don't worry about this concept of money for the adoptables.



Q:"How long will you be doing the adoptables for?"

A: Honestly, I don't even know, so if you want one, get it while you can, because I do have a job, other requests, and still wish to do my own personal art. So it might be a limited time thing, or it might not be, im not sure.



Q:"if I adopt an egg, and by that means, I OWN the creature inside, how do I know what it turns into?"

A: Easy, even though you still adopted it, I still continue to draw its stages of evolution all the way up to, and including, the Alpha/Elder form, at which point I stop drawing the creature since its stages are complete, my job is done, and you now know what your pet fully looks like.



Q:"You called it a pet there, do I still have to feed it and clean up after it?"

A: Its up to you, its a character creature/pet you adopted, you can do with it what you will, except sell it, cuz thats just wrong to get something for free, then sell it for money :/



Q:"Is there anything special about these adoptables then the others I've seen around?"

A: Yes, practically every adoptable (like all others offered by people....sorta), are unique. What I mean by that, is every artist who offers adoptables, is making a unique creature/species, but what I mean by my adoptables being unique is that every adoptable will not be the same species unless specifically asked to be adopted, at which point I will make another one, and not just use the same linework but with a different colouration. Im not much of a fan of that method, it seems kinda cheap :/



Q:"Just there you said they could be requested, does that mean they're request pictures then?"

A: to the very simplest of terms, yes, but thats breaking down to the base in short. Actual requests take precidence over adoptable 'requests', but I'll do some on my spare time while I take a break from my actual requests.

BACK TO THE MATTER AT HAND!

Last night after I made my journal about my art sorta evolving (this brought on the idea), I had thought about evolving adoptables thingies (when u lay in bed for half an hour unable to sleep, you think about weird things, lol). So, I thought about some adoptables, my friend Toren had made some (adoptables that is), and I was freakin excited to high hell because of it (but when you make adoptables of a scaly race that practically NEEDS snuggling, who couldn't be excited? lol), and I was exstatic when he gave me one, so I was thinking last night, why not make my own adoptables?Sure their not going to be all the same, or be easy to make, but it gives me something to do on the side along with my requests, because I found out why I loss the groove for art. I sometimes get bored with the picture and want to branch out and do my own art, and then I feel bad for doing my own art while I have requests to do, and then I just stop doing art all together (my bad timing doesn't help either though).

So I came up with these ideas for adoptables, EVOLVING adoptables. Its not just "heres ur adoptable, enjoy", no no noooooo, its much grander then that :D

ALL adoptables start off as an egg, and in 1 week time (im giving them their own timespan as well, so they actually have their own age to them), the egg will hatch, and out comes a little baby, miniature, piece WHATEVER it'll be, and it sticks around for another week or two, then it grows a bit more, to a second stage, at this point, they start to grow a bit faster, so I'd say about 5 days later, its a bit bigger, some features are more prominant, or it has something new, what have you. at the fourth stage, its fully matured, all of its features are visible, and its much larger then it was before. Then, it changes 1 last time, to a fifth stage, where it becomes (im not sure what to call it yet), either an Elder, or an Alpha, where it has added markings or apendages, or something to it to make it look different then its adult form, showing that it is, without a doubt, the highest stance of power it could ever reach.

Like I said, only an idea though, and I might decide against it depending on how people go with it (91% chance most of the people on my watch list just deleted this journal :/ and if not, thanks for reading this, makes me happy :D)

PS: Elder/Alphas can't be adopted, and remember, THIER FREE ADOPTABLES PEOPLE, thats code for NO MONEY NEEDED, like it should be. I wouldn't expect you to save some poor defenceless creature from my mentality and expect you to pay money for it. Your SAVING this thing from my mind! You have any idea what goes on in there?! I don't even wanna be in here!! DX

Originally when I heard about it, I was kinda thinking, "Why? It left off good as is."
But it actually brought about some interesting ideas.

The point of the movie is still about lycans and vampires, except humans have also been tossed into the mix. In the beginning, the main character (Selene sp?) gives a very brief history of her life, turning to vampire, killing lycans (werewolves), and killing the vampire Elders, and meeting Michael. Then she goes on to talk about humans; and their discovery about the Lycans and Vampires, and how they are exterminating them all now. Huymans are no longer oblivious to the 2 species, and actually went on a killing spree on the 2 species. 12 years later, and Selene wakes up in a cryo tube (she literally was frozen), and now she searches for Michael (these aren't spoilers, this all happens within the first 15 minutes of the movie.

Some scenes to the movie were a bit.....weird, but Underworld has always been like that, like the animation style of running, or jumping, or such. As with all Underworld movies, its not for the faint of heart either. Its still loaded with gore and violence and gore....wait, I mentioned that twice......Kids, don't let your mommy catch ya watching this.

The acting was good, but some facts they told in the movie were a little questionable.

Humans discovered vampires and lycans. But they never explain how, they just say "In the 9 days of the first discovery of the non-human species, several so called covens, have been discovered...."
The movie just starts off with "So we found out about vampires and werewolves. How you ask?........oh look, a distraction! -ducks behind a semi-legit plotline-" I found myself questioning this ALOT of the time, the entire movie is done in on a fact that wasn't even mentioned of HOW they found out about the two waring races.

BUT, I do like how they treat lycanthrope and vampirism as a disease rather then a species. The two just get called "non-human aggressors". But I can't get over the use of calling it a disease, and even mentioning a CURE. Their treating the two like they are, a disease, an infection to the human that changes them, which they are.

The cinematography is good, the animations are great as always, acting was good. But when it came to plotlines, it became questionable. Alot of facts weren't told, and were rather implide them outright told (kind of like Family Guy's version of nudity, its never shown, but only ever implide).

Now, the ONLY way I even ACCEPT the whole love thing going on in that movie series with Selene and Michael, is that its an infection, if not for them mentioning the whole species being made as a disease/infection, then I would probably rage quit all over the Underworld series, because vampires DO NOT LOVE. The undead leaders of the night do not love, they do not feel for human beings, they slaughter, massacre and mame. BUT, because they made it seem like an infection, it removed that concept of not having a soul, not having feelings. The concept of infection, a bacteria/virus that invades the bloodstream doesn't remove one's soul.

I'd review further about the movie, but screaming in this house has distracted me from my train of thought, and I can't focus on this review. I greatly apologize for this onconvenience for any who might have wanted a full review.

The only thing I can think of that I had left in my mind was that its a definate buy for any Underworld fan, and a rent for any others who might wish to just watch it. Im sorry once again.

ok, first off. Chronicle was good, I mean REALLY good, I expected it to be kinda iffy, but it turned out to be really good. For those who haven't seen the commercials for it, Chronicle is a movie about 3 guys who get these powers to move things with their mind (Telekinesis). One of the guys is sort of an oddball, the odd-man out. Hes father is a drunkard, his mother is dying of some illness, and hes pretty much a nobody in highschool, even his cousin (one of the other guys with the powers), barely even hangs out with him before he gets the powers. Andrew (the oddman), starts recording things with his video camera from now on, recording his father's assualts, his things their doing with his powers, the works. But once he gets the powers, he kidna goes off kilter. IE: he starts acting differently. I mean, if you were treated like a nobody that everybody hated, wouldn't you want to break out? So with his new powers, he starts to use them more and more.

I personally really enjoyed the movie, it was great, and the entire movie is through the Andrew's video camera, but with his powers, he starts to use the camera to levitate and record things around him. Its a great movie I think, not only because of the storyline, but also because I found myself drawn towards Andrew. I find myself able to relate to a few things with him, and I definately think thats what really brings in people to liking the movie, if theres a character they can relate to. The acting is good, cinematography was exception, I loved how they had things move, like full on car at one moment.

I give Chronicle a definate watch. I recommend a buy, definately a good movie to watch with a group of friends as well.



Now, my expectancies on 'The Hunger Games'. I used to talk with some one who really talked highly of the book, and from what I hear it was a really great book, something to really read (but we all know me, unless it involves magick of some special sort in relation to the olden ways, I probably won't read it). Pretty much, the Hunger Games is/was (Trying to remember the description for it). It was about sectors, or districts of a facility? im not sure WHERE or WHAT their in, but there is these groups, where they offer, or select one or two candidates from each sector (I'll just call it a sector, it seems to fit better for some reasonf ro me).. For example, Sector 2 would submit 2 people, sector 3 gives 2 people, so on and so on. These people (kids actually, ranging in age), then have to fight to the death, and whoever wins, gets X amount of food or something for their sector for X amount of time.

When I was being told about it, it seemed really good. I was thinking back to Deathrace and Gamer and all those other games where people were being put in fight-to the death shows/situations purely for entertainment value for the general public (come on, we all know the real world public would probably eat this up if it came real). So I was thinking along the same sort of lines, they have the kids/teenagers fight against one another in feral brutality to destroy one another, and claim the food or whatnot for the sector and they live about their marry ways for X amount of time till the next game.

I heard about it, and im thinking, "awsome, shows the brutality, natural force of humans, when life or death is put on the line, and it has only you to rely on". But then I found out that the kids/teenagers were trained to kill their opponents. To me, that kinda lost something. I heard about the kids fighting, and having to KILL one another, KIDS KILLING one another for FOOD for survival, I expected primal, feral carnage, but then its like, "We're training you", and it kinda lost something to me. I guess I just expected it to have them act more like animals then it like their saying "we're above acting like animals", but yet their not above fighting and killing each other for food.....

All in all, my preview for The Hunger Games isn't what I expected from what I heard about the book (remember I never read the book, so lets leave it at that, and hopefully, leave me in my dillusions of a good book). But im not going to give up on it like I did Tron Legacy (which showed me up, but come on, when you go in expecting crap, its really easy to be surprised), so heres to a movie hopefully hitting at least half my expectations (with 1 of them already being dashed, so thats already kinda a negative score).

Now if you excuse me, me and Dray have some DragonBall: Evolution to watch, with Team Four StarRifftracks.

ok, so a few.....ok, all of my friends, know about this art project im working on, and now im letting it go public, to the general fur populace. Now, only a few will be selected as im not able to get everyone inside the project (unless im to do multiple, in which case it'd take longer, but offer more of a selection). Im doing a deck of cards.

"Why do you wanna do that?"

Cuz when I went to a furry convention, I was hoping to find a deck of furry playing cards at Furnal Equinox, but unfortunately I wasn't able to find one, which made me a bit sad, but then I decided I was going to make a deck of cards, each card going to have some one's fursona on it, or personal character, whichever they have (you may have a personal character, but not a fursona, but your personal character could not be your fursona). So now im letting the project go public for anyone who wishes to join in. Each person will only be allowed to take 1 (one) card that is available, and once that card is selected/taken, no one else will be able to ask for that card. Im not sure when exactly I'll be able to get around to making the actual cards, but I'll be working on the design and style of the cards when I can once im done these requests (which should be soon I hope)

EDIT: We seem to be having a few problems with card selections. I just want people to know that I don't hold cards for you. If you ask me to hold a card, im not going to hold it. There was one incident where some one asked me to hold a card for them and their mate, but the slot was already open, so there was no holding of the card, I just put the 2 people down for the slots asked for.
Now, in incidents where I offer a card to some one, and they don't reply back to me until later, unfortunately, if you do not reply back to me soon enough, if some one asks for said card, I will have to give it up, as I am not holding slots. I just don't want to hold locations, because this is on a first come first serve basis.

Numbers/cards that do not have names beside them are the available cards that people can request to have.
Remember, every person is only allowed to have 1(one) card for their fursona/personal character.

The card image shall consist of the character in a pose of some sort, nothing fancy, just a single image of the character. The cards will vary in style, depending on what sort of pose the person wants, or under the artist's desretion.

Now, this project may take awhile to complete, seeing how I don't have a job current and therefore, not the money to have a deck printed. But it will take awhile to get the cards complete, so hopefully by then I have the money to make it. Any is welcome to join in, and the pose can be up to you that will be put on the card. But remember, the cards will be basic colours, seeing how it might cost more to have in-depth art to be printed on cards, also to help make the construction alot easier.
Also, the pose will consist of just the character, and no one elses' fursona/character; we don't want any confusion going on. There will also be no background, just a white background, so the poses will be rather simplistic at most, seeing how theire won't be much of anything to a background.

I find it fun looking over some of the pokemon designs in here going "That reminds me of -insert thing here-". So far, I'f found pokemon designs in here that have reminded me of things from "The Wizard of Oz", "A Nightmare on Elm Street", X-MEN of all things, and various others, as well as some give aways that were on Gaia Online for their halloween stuff from waaaayyyyy back when a couple years back. Reallyunique, and interesting stuff, very creative. If only ;-;

I have seen bad shows before, I've seen bad movies, heard bad music, and played, and seen bad video games. so far, the worste things I have seen, has been, an Owe Boll movie (with such attrotious movies as "Bloody Rayn", "Bloody Rayn 2", "Far Cry", and various flop failures). For the TV series, as of yet, I have but only 1 to this list, which is just a new being to add to this once, none-existant list.

if anybody knows me, me and magick are like fish and water, we go so well together. Me liking magick, and not studying it is like a bird swimming in the ocean, or a human living without oxygen. I've been a fan of magick since a young age, and to love magick, and not know such great, iconic magicians, sorcerers, warlocks, and poets is a shame. I've read many books, few mentioning Gwwydion (as best as I can spell his name from memory, I apologize for not remembering his whole name, with all of the accents), Math, and Bacon, as well as a rare mention of another, whose spelling of his name escapes me, and his pronunciation of it is even more elluding. But Merlin has been many of which I've seen.

Now, before I go too far into it, from just this one episode, I can admit, yes, I shall accept that the creators of the TV series may add their own spin of things into the TV show, I can accept that, but to change so much of it, from what I have read, its like a nawing parasite at the back of my brain. Too many things have been off from the series only but 5 minutes into this episode.

In many of the books I read, Morgana was the EVIL WITCH, that, for now, I cannot remember why she hated Merlin for so long, but in the series, is the sister to prince Arther. In the series, Quinovere is but a slave, or servant in King Uther's castle, and from what I remember in those books, wasn't she a princess? Merlin is hiding his magick for it is illegal, or something of the sort, and nobody knows of his magickal capabilities save for 2 people, and is also studying in magick. Yet, in these books I read, Merlin was known for having magickal abilities since the age of 8, and people knew of them as sure as the sun would rise. Then, the series had some weird named bad person, can't recall her name, don't really want to either, either way, this evil sorceress is.....well, the evil person of the series I presume. As well, King Uther lives! I cannot recall from those books that I have read, much about the ruler at the time, as the books were broad on magicks and sorts, with brief mentionings of Merlin, and his connections with Arther, so I cannot say for sure, but, I THINK (if I am wrong, feel free to correct me, as im not entriely sure on this either) Uther was dead while Arther was still young.

For the chance of a comeback, I let these differences slide (aren't I so nice, right?), in hopes the show would redeam itself to a somewhat....meiocre? I haven't had to spell that word before, but heres its first appearence in my vocabulary. So, for the second chance im granting the series, I continue to watch to see how about goes this fight with this creature that is apparently poisoning the water thats killing everyone in the kingdom (rather small kingdom too I might add). And, much of the time during the fight with the creature, Dray and myself found ourselves questioning just really what the fuck was going on. It wasn't until the very, oh so anti-climactic end of the fight, and the creature being burnt to a cinder....I think, by the time the cheesy graphics with the medievil flamethrower came in, I found myself looking at the cream colour painted wall as I walked away. So im not really sure just what the creature was at the end of it, aside from dead.

I know I haven't done a movie review for the podcast, nor a series review as well in a loooong time, even when the podcast was doing its usual weekly productions. But I found myself urging, NEH, LONGING, to do a review of the series Merlin. Merlin, the iconic figure of britain magick and lore, has, in my mind, and from the 5 books I had read that had mentioned Merlin, has been reduced to a mixed up puzzle with pieces jammed into the wrong places, with several pieces from a completely different puzzle tossed in as well.

Now, I am going to say this though. The series' HISTORY was not on track with many books, BUT, I shall say that the actors and actresses in the series were indeed great. It was a blast from the past to see Anthony Head (Rupert Giles, from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and guest starring in 1 or 2 Doctor Who episodes) playing as King Uther. The actor who played as Merlin was also very good indeed, much to our surprise, Dray and I both agreed at the same time, in unisen, that the young actor who played Merlin could very well pull of being The Doctor from Doctor Who, if he was but a few years older.

In this series, I shall give it a scoring on acting, as it seems that that is one thing im willing to score on this, and might I add, this is the FIRST series that I am giving a score on, instead of my usual "Watch", "Don't watch" review.

Acting scores an even 8, 8.5 for having Anthony Head in there, some one from my favourite TV series past.
As I know that not many people have read much into magick, and Merlin himself, I am sure few people will find the lack of cohereincy to history/lore and the series bothering, which is where the tie is held. Many people might find the story to the series interesting, but if you are like me who has read much into the past of lore, history, and legends, you may find this series rather aggrivating, and wanting to pull your hair out. So, if you have not read into Merlin's legend/past, ignore this review and enjoy your series, but if you have read books on Merlin, and the ways of the arcana, and the world of sorcerers, witches, necromancers, nymphs and Ents, I warn you, the series may be rather bothersome at many points.
