Trenton the GShep and I'm doing dance commission! What are they you ask? There a recorded video of my performing a freestyle routine. Artist have their paper and media programs, Dancers have their bodies and music. Why am I doing this?
1) Job Hunting in Lynchburg, Virginia is really shitty. So I wanted to make a separate fund (aside from my 'Essentials Fund') to help me get to both Furfright and Midwest Furfest this year! After these cons Dance Commissions will become my fund for my Fursuit being made by
Sarvix
2) A friend and I will be making these videos. He can increase in his experience of Filmography and I can practice and train myself and increase my music selection. So you're helping two people at once! YAY!

The dance video will consist of my freestyle dance to a selection of music you want. Your music, your choice. My only suggestion is have the song can be dance to!
As of now I will open two free slots with about a 2 to 3 minutes of dance. This is so I can show an example of my work and get out some advertisement! -Thanks for the suggestion
TheRemix - The third and fourth slots will be $5 per minute of dance. The majority of these will be out of suit until Trenton is paid for and finished.

Posted 12 years agoSo depending on my situation, I may start taking up dance commission. Cause Job hunting here in Lynchburg, Virginia isn't going so well. I've already applied for multiple jobs and they're giving me the run around. So I may decide I want to do this. 1) This is a chance for me and my friend to practice on stuff (He's Filming and My dancing). 2) A temporary way of money until I'm hired at a real job.
The dance video commission will consist of me freestyle to a song of your choice. This can help me expand my song list and the variety of music I dance to. I feel like the dance video will be about 5 bucks per minute. Criticism is totally welcomed. Again I need to see if people would actually do this before I just embarrass myself by opening slots and no one does anything lol

Unlucky 13'! 2013 So far.
Posted 12 years agoThis has to be one of the worst years of my life. I have no idea what I've done to piss off [Insert Deity/Ideal Here] but I did it. Its gotten to the point where today I just broke down and cried. I don't understand. I've tried to do nothing but good things. I've done nothing wrong, even tried to get Karma on my side. But its just this year...its been to horrible.
1) It was probably the fourth year living with my dad. It wasn't in my life for 17 out of the 22 years of my life. He offered me his house when my mother and I weren't seeing eye to eye. I could get access to school easily and I bonded with him and my stepmother. They had to live Virginia and move away because my mother tried to put him in jail for child support. By the time this happened my younger brother and I passed the age of 18. But she still tried. So much anxiety was placed on me to find a job quickly and find a place to live. This was my first breakdown of the year. Thankfully my friends let me stay with them...
1b) During my late sophomore/early Junior year, my advisor told me that I didn't need to have wasted my time with Biology major for being a vet tech. I could had went to a technical college or community college and got the degree in less time and money. I was distraught. This is something you tell your students when they first explain their ambitions. My ambitions crashed I just switched majors
1a) While going through the initial anxiety the nurses at Lynchburg College tried to make me take Anti-Depressants and Anti-Anxiety medication. Personally I refused to take it, but I pretended to so I could get the Accomadation. The Anxiety was messing with my homework, my social life, and I had insomnia
2) Until I had to move back in with my mother during the summer. My stepdad says my mother and I have the same personality of how we say how we feel and don't back down from an argument. She and I butt head a lot. We have numerous altercation that have even gotten physical.
3) I've been trying to get a job, but no one has hired me passed the interview. My mother and stepdad are not giving me the uplifting support I need. I have but few friends around locally who rarely meet up but once every three weeks. (I can see on some of their faces is more of chore than and actually get together). Then me and my mother got into. "Why don't you get a degree in your job" She said. "Because I'm not done. I need to get a regular entry level job." I replied "What was the point of you going to college. Wasting money and time" I was pissed and sadden at the same time. I started to doubt my reasoning for going to college.
4) Those within the area of Central Virginia know how the strange death circling around Levon Martin and the police in Lynchburg, Va. Well that was my cousin. The police said they ran after him and he collapsed on his own and they try to give him CPR. Some witness testify saying that he was tazed several times. Other also reported that he surrendered to the police. Levon was hospitalized where is was in a coma from cardiac arrest, He died the next day.
Too much shit happened this year. Like I'm superstitious. I don't fuck with Oujia boards, unlucky 13, etc. I don't what I did to make the powers that be piss in my wheaties. But I sure as all did something.
There were good times during the year. During FWA and AC I got to bond with people I never thought I could imagine. Dance the night away and going hard that it tears up the floor, and be with old and new friends. I have to be honest. If it wasn't for my friends. I'll be a depressed husk of a man. My friends and their bond complete me and make me happy. I would trade my possessions to have an infinite amount of resource just to visit and hang with them. These friendships I made, I wouldn't change for the world

Now how do I start this off. Its been awhile since I did a Post Con Report. I feel bad about it. Most Its just living in the moment and sometimes its really hard to describe in detail the things that happen to me at these cons. FurFright 2012, FWA 2013, and AC 2013 have been a wild ride. pun not intended. But lets focus on AC 2013
It was the usual way of getting there. My greatest thanks to Grimno. Thank you always for taking me up to Pittsburgh. I might be a hard ass about some of your driving habits, but I still respect you and thank you so much. Getting to Pittsburgh as been a different experience each time. There were so many things trying to stop us from getting there. Starter being a douche, navigational problwma, terrential downpours. But we made it on Wednesday Night.
Wednesday:
First time ever at a Convention I arrived a day before the con starts. It was so great seeing the Dancer Fam again. And our reunion didn't disappoint. Sharing experiences since the last con we met, blasting music in the room, dancing, and DRANK! It was wonderful seeing old and new faces within the Dancer Family. Never had been so blessed to be apart of this group. Nothing but love here. There maybe be some salt, but the sweetness of our bonds overcome it. I also have to give a big thanks to Tabris. You let me stay at your place during the Wednesday on extremely short notice. Thank you so much man. Next year I want to see you part of the convention and experience for what it is.
That first night by the riverfront, was the best beginning to the con ever. Watching the boats go by, shooting the shit, dancing. Our little paradise next to the Con. Our Sanctuary. <3~
Thursday
The Real Shit begins! For one at a furry con, I fucking Pre-Reg. I think what made me do it was the fact the price of AC rose since last year. 60 bucks at the door? Fuck that noise and fuck the line for AC. I can tell you one thing. I played Line Tag. Due to some confusion with the staff, I was moved to three different times. Fuck it, I got my badge. But ya know, it isn't a furry convention without something fucking up. Case in point, all the fucking liquor stores today were closed. Fucking Fourth of July. Thankfully we had friends to save the day! Another case I accidentally locked Grim's keys in his car. I care about my friends a lot. I but emotional investment into them. When I saw him get frustrated trying to get into his car, I felt extremely shitty. You go to a con to get away from Frustration and I honestly felt like crying because I was causing it, even though it was an simple mistake. Thank you Hillbilly Hound and Tabris for helping me with the lock.
More thanks coming up: ZigZagZiggy thank you for letting me be apart of your room. The other roommates, ReyRey, Larathen, Bengal0, you guys are great. Thank you for putting up with ReyRey and I coming in late as shit during the nights. That room was chill as fuck. No arguments, no drama, just chill. Thank you so much for those days and nights.
After that travesty, I met up with the dancer furs again and our bonding began once again. Showing off what I've been practicing in dance. I've been dancing for about 5 years now. I didn't get serious until I met the DancerFurs and LFO, in 2011. From being that Shy Shepherd trying to show is shit to being a fierce bad ass on the dance floor, its because of DF pushing me to be my best. Thanks to them my dancing has evolved. 1512...that room was so much hype at the con. KING'S CUP BITCHES!
That fireworks so was beautiful. And we had an emotional moment that night as well. That night showed me how real people can be and how these bonds we have are taut and supportive and difficult to break.
We hit up the Sanctuary and drank for a bit. We pregamed for the Dance that night. Of all the sets, Dantee's set was banging. We went the fuck off that night. Then after the dancing, we went back to the Sanctuary and walked around Pittsburgh. Yo. Apollo aka Peppermint, couldn't make AC. So the gang had me, TWERK FOR APOLLO! WorldStar Hip Hop ratchetness. Oh Ratchet Godness, I beseech of thee, please do not place thine ratchet grace on me again.
Subway, brah, Subway was our blessing that night. Half Ass Based God....thank you. Lol We were hungry as fuck and Subway never tasted so good. As usual with cons for me. Didn't get back in until the ass crack of dawn. But sleeping in was worth it.
Friday:
LFO Workshop. It was great see the old vets and then new faces who wanted to learn styles within dance. Atsu, Flip, Remix, Blue, Toay, and Phor awesome teachers. Toay taught me things about Tecktonic I didn't think I would learn from watching it. He and Phor complimented with one another with Robotics and Tecktonic. That Cypher before that was real short. When peeps went to practice in the Fursuit Dance Comp I went off to meet others. In the Dealer's Den I finally got to meet Alden's boyfriend, Blackburn. As well as Bane. Furnanado's is a different experience everytime, I can tell you that. Meeting Pilot in person was great. Seeing NovaShepherd again was awesome. Finally Meeting Xerxes, Darkou, Aiden and Ethan was wonderful as well. Aiden I don't know what drink you made me, but I need the recipe for it <3~
Yet again we had a moment at the Sanctuary. We just kept coming back. Ikato, Flip ReyRey, Camo, Zoomba, Silver, Dub, Ben, Euchre, Vain, Cyan, Toay, Phor, TMain, KJ, Xerxes. Sanctuary Cru~
The dance friday night was alright. Props to Rawkzorz for kicking shit up! Injuries and Sickness were had that night. ReyRey, Atsu, Toay. Fucking Soliders.
Saturday:
Saturday had rolled by. ReyRey and I slept in til like 2 or 3. Dude ReyRey, if you're reading this, you got pain tolerance for days. Cause the shit you went through, damn man. Then fucking Floor Wars later day. Fucking....Floor Wars. I had signed up for it late as hell due to complication and stress. Regardless to whether I got in or not I was going to watch people hardcore dedication to dance. When I heard my name come up, the feeling I got. I hate how cliched this is, but it really was like butterflies in my stomach. I brought out waacking hard. And Strobes precision in his isolations and animations and popping, intimidating. That Pirouette into a shablam was not planned. But Oh my god, the reaction from it. Then Super Freak, yes...Funk and Disco are Waacking's Playgrounds. Just to hear that funk, I was ecstatic. Then Mozee, even more intimidation. To be on the dance floor with him, Strobes, and Flinch. It was memorable and amazing opportunity. and I'm so thankful to have it. Poison, that song. To get into the essence of the song, to get sassy and sexy. It was so thrilling. I surprised some people, but to be honest I lot of people surprised me as well. Theome, Gale, Sparky, Snapback JD, Kavi, Benchilla are the ones that popped in my head. To see these people dance, some of which out of their comfort zones, in hot ass fursuits, or fucking heels. I was amazed!
To get to the Semi-Finals, i couldn't believe it honestly. I wanted to cry, like legit. I find Dance a form of artistic expression. I always though that i was never good at any art form. Drawing and Painting I was poor. Instrumental and Vocal, I never felt at home. I love writing so much, but its an under appreciated form of art. Dance, with the determination and practice I put in, to start from the bottom and get to the SemiFinals in a Battle style competition, I wanted to cry. To get the compliments (especially from Atsu who I know is a phenomenal waacker and voguer) I gained, I wanted to cry. I finally felt appreciated and proud of the art I've done. Strobes, Mozee, Flinch, Theome, and all the dancers during Floor Wars you guys are phenomenal and you've help me be what I am today. You complete me. I'm proud to be part of the Dancer Fur Family. I put emotional investments into this community, especially with the DancerFurs. These guys...These guys right here, are like a second family to me. The amount of praise and love from this group earns my deepest respect and all my effort and love. Its because of them and my friends within the Furry Community I keep coming back con after con. I may have lost to Flinch in the Semi-Finals, but to be where I was and to be with fellow friends who had the same passion as I did, I wouldn't trade anything for it. No Salt, nothing but love. <3~ Seeing Flinch and ReyRey go at. Damn. ReyRey, you're a warrior for dancing with a busted knee. Then Theome and Zoomba...Four Rounds...FOUR! You two....you two were marvelous. Congrats to Flinch and Theome!
After that experience, Showers where to be had, eating was to be done, Sanctuaries had to be visted, and dances had to be rocked. We all seperated for eats. Pizza Parma, you slippin. I Order Hot wings and you didn't put enough hot sauce on that shit. You made me pay 10 bucks for them shits. Bitches get your shit together lol. We went to Gale's Room and had out pregame party for the Dance. Ty and Flip, you are some awesome bartenders. Ty the amount of dranks you had to make that night. You can also concoct good shit on the fly. Much love.
! Firr's 90s set. DancerFurs went the fuck off! To hold hands and moves as one and then spread out to form that cypher. It was great experience which we should do every con. To watch people showcase their talent that night, amazed. Atsu, Akonite, Silver, Daiquri, we are some fierce bitches! To your styles of Waacking and Vogue, oh my god. Each were different, cool or sassy, and stunning. Housing with Atsu and Ikato, mmm GIRL! GIRL! DAT FOOTWORK. DID YOU SEE THOSE MOVES! Syd Stoat, when I saw you dance to that Micheal Song. I saw MJ. I love watching you dance. Camo with the fucking b-boying. And Ty! Honey, you are awesome.
The only salt I had from this night was 4 people, four of the same people come into the cypher and fucked things up. They caused chaos in the cypher. I'm not saying they couldn't dance there, but they messed up the cypher, twice. "This is a dance floor, we can dance here if we want." Yes honey, you can. But learn the rules of the Dance Cypher. I really wanted to tell her off, but it would had ruined my night. We just moved the cypher circle else where. After the dance. We went back to the Sanctuary to end the night.
Sunday:
Everyone could feel it. The last day of the con. The Fursuit Competition, I know there was some salt, but Skye, Sadie, and Zoomba you guys deserve your places. Oh my god, Dance Fam at the Golden Palace. We have such a huge family we almost filled out the entire second floor. The speeches from Theome and JD, where extremely touching. Since there was no more to be done the Sanctuary Crew pre-gamed for the Dead Dog. Euchre, thank you so much for letting me wear Mojito. The surprises on people at the Dead Dog was great. Yet again, the people Xerxes....mother fucker you can move! Holy shit I was not expecting that from you. And Pilot your suit is so adorable in person!
Later that night we had one last visit to the Sancutary. You could feel the amount of emotion welling from each of us. It was the last night, and no one of us wanted to leave. We were even at the moment to talking about all the dancer fam moving into the same state. We all seperated until it was Zoomba, ReyRey, and I wondering around until the ass crack of dawn.
Monday:
Woke up like around 11 or 12. Didn't have to leave to 2. Said Goodbye to the roomies, and dropped my stuff off in Grim's car. All the goodbyes had to be said. Went to Flip's and Ikato's room and we got some eats at Bruggehemer's. Those bagels man....Everytime I go to Pittsburgh, I have to get them. There so fucking good. I bought two and saved them for the trip. Those tearful goodbyes. I tried to stay strong, but when I was leaving the city limits of Pittsburgh and thinking about the past few days. I started bawling.
Each year, cons get more emotional for me. To be part of that family, I wouldnt trade it for anything. I'm getting to the point where instead of buying the next gen console, or buying luxurious wants, I'd rather use my money to travel to see my friends. Not just during cons, but travel in general. Like the games and fancy clothes will wavier to the next new tech or trend, but those bonds are there forever. Distance makes hearts fonder, but dammit a visit doesn't hurt once in awhile, ya know? Thank you Dancer Fam and all my friends for making this ride in the furry community worth it.

Posted 12 years agoBefore Midnight hits, lets all take the time to have a moment of silence. 4 years ago today Pop lost one of its greatest royals: Micheal Jackson. To be honest I'm still in shock after 4 years. Micheal had brought a type of music and style of dance that change the face of Pop. Now one will ever attain the status of King of Pop as MJ did. The World didn't appreciate MJ, but you don't know whatcha have til its gone. The World wasn't ready for the death of MJ. He's singing and dancing in a better place and look down on his kids. Fuck the haters, MJ will always reign as King of Pop. No one will change the way we think and feel as Micheal Jackson did.

Its been 13 to 14 since Pokemon has come out with a new type, those being Dark and Steel. Now it introduce a new type, The Fairy Type. Its been rumor since Sylveon's release. In February 2013, Water Pokemon Master, moderator and owner of the PokeBeach site, was sent leaks of the upcoming Sixth Generation game, Pokemon X & Y. Among these leaks (such as the skybattles, bug type gym leaders, english names of the first four released pokemon, professors, starter evolution final typings, riding pokemon) was the leak of the Fairy Type.
"Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.
Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy)." -WPM's Source
This rumor and many others from the source have been confirmed true. For now the only known advantage to Fairy is dragon. However, I believe the source in Fairy type match because so many of the leaks have been confirmed.

For those you still believe that Fairy-type is stupid type, I'm gonna explain this for a point of view using myths, lore, and legends to explain how its legit. Because I can see some people just don't pick up a fantasy book that often lol. Its my argument and opinion. Take it as you will.

However, until you go to the magical beast, then you start getting into the "non-girly" things that want to see such as Manticores, sphixes, minotaurs, chimeras, hags, hagravens, gorgons, lycanthropes, pegasi, unicorns, basilisk, cockatrice, griffon, hippogrifs, sirens, harpies, etc. For those of you who say the fairy-type is restrictive or narrow type, read some fantasy or play some D&D.
ANYWAY, onto to the reasoning behind the match ups.
Strengths
In most legends or lore, the dragon is the antagonist, and are defeated by humans. However, humans weaponry alone can defeat a dragon. A Warrior would have to have his weapon enchanted by a wizard or elves/fae in order to slay the dragon. Since Fairy types are based off magical creatures, it makes sense why they are strong against dragons. Also Dragons have some control over magic, but they are not magic incarnate such as the Fae, Sylvan, and Magical Beast. Which is why Fairy type has an immunity over dragon if that rumor is true.
If the rumor is correct then dark and fighting are also weak to fairy. This can also be explain. In fairy tales, Magic and magical beings always overcome the powers of darkness and triumph in the even. So its kinda of like a good vs evil. Think of Fairy as the special equivalent to fighting. The fighting weakness can also be explain. Ever play a video game or DnD and your mage would just wreck total $#*% on the fighters and knights with Fireball or Lighting Bolts. Magic abilities are much more powerful than than a natural fighters abilities.
Weakness
According to the rumor, Fairy type has two weaknesses, Steel and Poison. Steel is the easier one to explain. Yet again we go back to the lores that have been passed down and written about for ages. Legend states that cold iron is what is needed to kill Fae. Why? Because it takes a lot of time and effort for magic to effect cold iron weaponry and armor. Which means a a knight who has cold iron while take less damage from magic that the Fae, sylvan, or magical beast use. Cold Iron does not give immunity, after enough time and magic, cold iron won't be able to absorb all the magic and by bypass or break the armor.
Now Poison is a much harder thing to explain. My reason: Fae and Sylvan are creatures of the natural and magical world. For instance, Naiads channel the lakes and ocean to have their magical abilities over water, Dryads from the forest, when toxicity or pollutants contaminate their source of magic, then they are weak and vunerable. If someone has a better explanation to this, I would like to here it.
Honestly if any other weakness I would had, would be Fairy itself. In the words of Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures. "MAGIC MUST DEFEAT MAGIC!!" Which is true. Those who know magic and delve into its properties (or are naturally a part of it) can defeat it.
Non-Effective
Looking back at the rumors, yet again. Fairy is not very effective against Fire and Psychic. (I think thats how it was written, please correct me if its incorrect). Psychic is easier to explain. You can go two routes with this: 1) Psychics have immense prowess in mentality. Meaning they have a strong sense of will. Most magic echantments, complusion, and illusion effect the mind. Meaning that psychics have a better chance and resisting them than most. 2) Since Psychic are more mental and intelligent, their disbelief in the magical world.
Fire is a little harder for me to explain. If anyone has a opinion about it, reply this post.
Stats
Stats wise I'm looking at Fae/Sylvan based Fairy-types normally have the higher stats in Sp Atk or Sp. Def. I also can see speed because their are suppose to be elusive and hard to catch/encounter. Their weakest stat would probably be HP or Defense. Fae and Sylvan are usually frail. They use they wisdom, intelligence, and magic to get the better hand of situations. Magical Beast i can see their stats being varied depending on what they are based on.
So those are my two cents on this type. In honesty, i love it. Gamefreak is taking a risk and exploring the lore of magic creatures. Hopefully, GameFreak will explore more into the Magical beast so the macho players will stop complaining about Fairy being to cutesy or feminine. Do you hear any of the women complaining about the Fighting type being to masculine, I don't hear much complaints.
Regardless of femininity or not, I'm am probably going to get a male Gardevoir and naming it RuPaul....lol

AnthroCon 2013 (Searching for a Room)
Posted 12 years agoHey Guys. So originally be an a few other people where going to room for AC. However, they dropped AC and wanted to do other things this summer. So now a G Shep is looking around for a room during AC. I don't care which hotel (Omni, Marriot, DoubleTree, etc.) as long as its in walking distance.
I'm a pretty nice guy; polite and Courteous. I'm very socialable so I won't just be that quiet fur in the room, i'll try to get to know ya. I have a great temperament, it takes me a lot to get angry. You'll hear no attitudes from me. If I have a problem with someone, I will politely tell them and the same will be appreciated. When people have a problem with me I will try my best to correct the problem.
I honestly don't care if I have to sleep on the floor or a chair. I can sleep almost anywhere given a pillow, blanket, and enough space. I may have a fursuit. Don't know yet. I'm also a partier and I will be walking in late at night, but like a ninja I'll be quiet. I will pay for the room there's no problem with that.

GSHEP GOES OFF: A Venting for Dance Class
Posted 13 years agoSo I'm having so problems in my dance class. Its not the instructor, its not the teaching material, its my performance partners. If you're a fellow dance PLEASE READ. I need some advice or comments about this.
I hope you actually had time to read the email I sent. But if you didn't (=_=) here is the TL;DR verison:
So basically, these girls wanted me to make choreo for the group performance. I worked hard on making the choreo for about a week and a half. Come back after Turkey Day break, they get a majority vote over me and dance to Taylor Swift without even giving what I had a chance. I was fine with the song change. What I'm not fine with was there being no heart or effort in the choreography at all. The choreo its cutesy and I feel like my teeth have cavities from the sweetness.
Actually took the time to read the lyrics and listen to the song because I was responsible for the 'dubstep' portion since its was 'hip hoppy'. The tone and emotion of the song don't match up to the cutesy flair of our choreography. I'm annoyed at the choreography, the lack of effort, and my voice falling on death ears.
Give me your comments or advice. Did I do the right thing. Should my complaints be heard, or am I over exaggerating. Any critics is fine: Good or Bad. Rude ones will be dealt with. I ain't got time for that childish shit.
So I'm trying to do choreo for the 'dubstsep' portion of our performance, but I come to few problems while making choreo and the performance in general.
1) When I'm going through our performance, i feel like there is no real effort put into it. I feel like they are taking the easy route and just want this done and over with.
I'm listening to this song its telling me a story of the singer and her lover in which her lover has caused her nothing but trouble and she is finally realizing it. Our choreography doesn't show that. There is no real effort to actually dance, no emotion in the movements.
I'm dancing to the choreo and I don't feel it because I feel as though there is no heart to it. It makes me frustrated as a dancer.
2)Originally these girls wanted me to make choreo for some songs. I was perfectly fine with making it all by myself. In fact I was overjoyed. I could finally create my own piece someone could dance to. I had three sibgs in mind and the girls felt like the ideas before and during the break. I worked hard to developed choreo through the thanksgiving break and as soon as they come back, they get a majority vote and wanna do the pop song. They never even gave what I had a chance.
When ever I chime in with suggestion for choreography, its like my voice is unheard through the majority because it might be "too hard" without even trying. How can you advance through dancing without challenging yourself.
3) Like I said I don't mind the feminine vibe. I'm use to doing feminine styles within Hip Hop such as Vogue, Whaacking, and feminine choreography with in hip hop. I'm very confident in my sexuality enough to do that type of choreography. Yet, I'm going to be blunt. What they're doing is not hip hop. Its moving to your position and posing. Its erratic movements that have no fluidity to them.
I know that its just the first day, but from the other groups, I can see the musicality, the effort, the emotion, the technique. I feel passion and effort in their movements. The qualities that you look for in dancing. I can see from those two groups, yet I don't see it from ours.
4) As I told you before, I feel as though the guys are getting left in the wind. The girls make choreography suitable for them, but didn't have any of the guys in mind at all. My opinions fall on death ears and from what I'm seeing Will is having trouble. I have know idea about Tyler since he hasn't shown yet.
I mean I'm going to try to voice my opinion and show these girls the choreo I'm attempting to make. Yet, I worry for my grade in the project because as I said I honestly don't see the qualities you look for in dance. I honestly would rather do something solo or make something with the guys since they're getting left in the wind. Posted 13 years agoThat's right one of the Children of R&B has left the stage for the last time. That bold soul that has graced our ears is gone. Whitney was finally getting her life back around. She divorced Bobby in 06 and started to get rid of her addictions. She was found unresponsive in her hotel in Beverly Hills. She was pronounce dead after failed attempts of CPR.
I feel for Bobbi. She's only year younger than I am and she lost her mother. I don't know what I would be doing if I knew it wasn't allowed to see her when they found her.

Posted 13 years agoSo as most of us know today that Megaupload, and its sister site Megavideo, have been taken down by the United States FBI. We all knew it was a matter of time when MU would be taken down. Even though Megaupload and Megavideo are a chinese based website. So even if SOPA/PIPA doesn't pass, it seems the Department of Justice (DoJ) still has the power to retaliate. I honestly wonder how China feels about her citizen being taken away by the US. I don't know Chinese/American relations all too well.
However the hackivist group, Anonymous, started to play hardball when MU and MV were taken from the interwebs. True its creed "We do not forgive, We do not forget." I've got a slight Problem FA.
Posted 14 years agoHere's the situnario (situation + scenario.) I'm missing 3 out of 4 badges. Meaning that they have yet to reach my possession. During the end of May I order two badges from Artists. Now these two artist have great personalities and are always good to their fans and customers. I'm not bashing them or mad at them. I've recently talked with them and they both got in contact with me. 1) Has yet to start on the badge. But says (s)he will. 2)This person accidently left my badge at home during AC. Told them it was perfectly alright. Talk with them recently and (s)he that she will sent it out. Its a given that this will take a while since (s)he lives outside the states.
Now on the other hand, again not bashing anyone, there is another person that I ordered at badge from during AC. Before I left (s)he had line art of my badge and that was the last time I got in contact him before last week (July 7). (s)he said (s)he finished it and was sending if off in Saturday. Now (s)he lives in the states, and its yet to reach my home. (a week later)
My Question FA: What do I do? I'm a nice, sweet person. I don't get pissy over materialistic shit. Yet, it been good while, So do I continue to play the waiting game or do I get a bit more assertive?

A Shepherd's First AnthroCon! Post AC Report!
Posted 14 years agoPost Con Depression? Fuck that! I Have Post Con Excitement! My first furry convention ever and I got to go to AnthroCon. I've been to anime conventions before, but they're nothing like furry conventions. Probably the greatest birthday present ever. AC started a day before my birthday.
How did I get there?
Getting there was a bit rocky. I was suppose to meet up with my friends to carpool, but I couldn't get dropped of because my father's car broke down. They had to come to my house, pick me up. Then if that wasn't bad enough, we got about 15 minutes from my house and I noticed I left my wallet. So we had to drive back. We had to drive to another friends home, which is about an hour and a half, so they could drop me off to ride with him. We left Thursday at around 3:00am, and didn't get to the Westin and the convention center until quarter til 11:00am

Well apparently as soon as we got there, they had opened registration way earlier than expected. I'd forgot to pre-register. To any furs and con-goers alike. I have a message to you. ALWAYS FUCKING PRE-REGISTER! I was waiting for like 2 DAMN HOURS in line. You meet some interesting characters in line. Hardcore furs, fursuiters, furverts, you name it. Ironically, I didn't met that many furverts on my first trip to AC. Most of my buddies on FA told me to keep an eye out for them. Didn't really see that many.
So after getting my first AC badge, I went to my room in the Westin. I'm pretty glad I got a room there. I'd rather wait for the elevators then walk down a couple of blocks in Pittsburgh. The center is right close by. My room mates were pretty chill. I went to the Opening Ceremonies, which was pretty much it during the first day. When Friday popped up, i was having a lot of fun. Got to meet my old friends on FA face to face. I was even able to meet my favorite artists and introduced to new ones. The Artist Alley and Dealer's Den is a wonderful place...but be prepared to bring a credit card or a lot of cash.

During my stay, I met a lot of fursuiters. Which is a given at a furry convention. My friend swivelthecheetox got fursuit at a furry convention for a first time! However, before going to AC, I wasn't really sure about fursuiting. After being a spotter for a fursuiter, I would have to say, I would enjoy getting a German Shepherd Partial. Fursuiters have shit tons of fun. You get to get in character and enjoy yourself. The games and entertainment in a fursuit are pretty cool.
After hanging out with some of my friends, I went to a dance workshop hosted by the first furry dance crew, Last Fur One. I would had never dreamed to be in the same room as some awesome dancers and them being furry as well. That workshop went on for a couple of hours. Met some new friends there that can dance like it was the last day alive. After which, I went to my local friend's room. We had many laughs and new inside jokes were made. Then I went to a SSBB Tournament. I may had lost on the second round, but the matches afterwards were fuckin' awesome! Congrats to
to making it to the Semi-Finals and 
to winning the whole shabang!
Saturday rolled along and things really started to get jumpin'. I bought a couple of badges from artist and hug out with my friends from my local area. Oh the fun we had. The Last Fur One Group had a dance session that did and I got to meet a fur I really wanted to see in person. His partial suit had so much swag it wasn't even fun. But underneath, in my opinion, was probably the one of the cutest guys I've met. <3~ He took me to a room party, which was pretty cool. First furry room party I every went to. Though things died down, we left. Interestingly enough, the entire hallway smelled like straight weed. Parties got shut down on the floor, but I know someone was on cloud nine before they got caught. He took me outside and he introduced me to some pretty laid back furs. We had some pretty fun shenanigans.
Sunday had finally came, which meant the end of the Convention had came. I was sadly, but the end of the convention was not going to get me down. My local friend and I wanted to go to a bar. Surprisingly the nearest open bar was a gay bar. So I went to my first furry convention and my first gay bar at the same time. Didn't drink though. Even though I wasn't 21, I knew we were coming back there next year, so I can drink legally for the first time.
After the gay bar visit, we actually went out to eat a few hours later. Had some hilarious conversations. When we got back, we chilled out in the room. I guess I had a lot of first at AnthroCon 2011. Shenanigans were had in the room, then we all crashed for the night. Monday morning we left for home, though we actually go lost on the way back. All in all, Anthrocon 2011 will be an unforgettable experience. I don't think I had a single bad moment at that con. I'm going to be in a good mood for the next couple of days! I'm definitely going to AC next year!

PRE-REGISTER!!!!!!!!!!
-Bring More than enough money: Its always best to bring more than enough money that's needed. I'd rather have extra money left over, then be stuck with out money. If you're afraid of spending too much, try to control your spending.
-Know what you're going to do before hand: I've had multiple situations where I was thinking about what do during when an event or something was happening. I'm a indecisive little bastard. Look at the schedule or talk to your friends to plan out stuff.
-Condoms: People have done it. I know people who have. I actually had a shirt that said 'Wear It' with a condom on it. Stay safe
-FUCKING WASH! Even if you aren't a fursuiter...wash! There were moments at AC where body odour was pretty fuckin' loud. Soap and Deodorant are your friends (so is hand sanitizer...ew Con Crud...), not bad guys. Not trying to be mean. Just speakin' some truth.
-Reporters: I saw some furries being interviewed, which I think its alright. Personally, I'd rather not have furry become mainstream *shudders*. But please watch what you say. I over heard one conversation that was quite....erm...yea.
Throughout this entire con, I slowly become to come out of my shell. At first I would give handshakes or first pump. Oddly, now I welcome the hugs. Basically you're like a big family when you walk through the doors of a furry convention. And it probably the most fun I've gotten to experience.
Also: Apparently Obama drove by the convention area during AC? A friend said he saw a silhouette peak through the tinted window to only have his head pushed back down. lol
