Now streaming, Mondays at 2pm Eastern
General | Posted a year agoGoing forward for the foreseeable future, I will be livestreaming on Mondays at 2pm Eastern US time. I'll post a notice if that changes, or when I need to make an exception. Also, instead of posting VoDs of any given stream, I intend to collect recordings of my work, on stream or off, and splice sessions together into edited speedpaints. You'll still find all these things here, at my Patreon, and over on Joystick.TV where I host my streams.
As for my plans for projects in the near future, I'll finish my current job and move on to making a character sheet which I plan to use as a pricing guide for any potential commissioners. After that, I need to make myself a proper icon and banner, instead of using art commissioned from someone else. If you happen to read this and want to ask for a commission, but you would like an example of something specific before you'll commit to it, or you have an idea for a YCH you'd like to be in, feel free to drop me a note. I'd love to hear from you.

Hopefully I can get myself into a groove of streaming at least once a week. But if I move the day or add an additional time, I'll be sure to post about it here.

STREAM (coming soon)
General | Posted a year agoSo I finally decided to exist again. Not only will I be resuming my drawing, I am going to be streaming my process, for those who like to watch such things. If that's you, keep an eye out. I can't say if I'll be on a regular schedule at first, but I will try to stream at a fairly consistent time, aiming for 2pm Eastern US. I will be doing so on a website I just found called Joystick.TV. ( https://joystick.tv/u/thassalante )

I looked at it. I also looked at the terms of service. And in there, there is a specific clause that prohibits nsfw content of a sexually explicit nature. If they choose not to enforce it today, that's all well and good, but I don't want my content being taken down without warning later on or getting unexpectedly banned, so I figured since I have no intention of limiting myself to sfw art on stream, it would be best to go somewhere that explicitly allows that kind of content right from the beginning.
I am also setting up a Patreon ( https://www.patreon.com/Thassalante ) should anyone be interested in contributing to my financial stability. Or you can subscribe on Joystick if you prefer. Be aware, I don't plan on putting any of my content behind a paywall. I will refrain from posting if a commissioner asks me not to, but otherwise I have no problem with people seeing my work.
If you want to, you can DM me at any of these locations, or here on FA, to find out if I have any forthcoming deals or giveaways for the month. Bear in mind, I'm just getting started with all this, so it might be a bit before I'm comfortable doing much, and I know how much time I'd have to do that sort of thing. I don't want to be one of those artists that over-promises and then has to delay commissions or cut back.
Also, I currently have temporary banners and icons that I've adapted from work I had commissioned from others. I intend to replace these with my own art promptly, but first, to kick the rust off my brain, I'll start with a series of stickers for my mate, kesseldarkfire
Oh, and did I mention it's my hatchday next month?
So yeah, fairly eventful around here. If you've read all that, please let me know what you think of it all. Yes, you. Specifically. Not the next person, you. I expect there will only be about five or so of you that get this far, so you're important.
