Don't worry - I will get back to your requests
General | Posted 2 years agoHellas hellas everyone,
I want to say is that I know I am stupid slow and hesitant in getting back to my commission account on discord. I'm aware that it sucks to wait, because I like to see things getting in motion asap as well, no difference.
So far, I've been too anxious to look through it. I haven't heard any criticism about how I handle this so far, which tells me a majority of you seems to find it at least OK.
Let it be clear that the vast majority of folks who contact me for the first time have been always kind and I can not say that there is an abundance of negative experiences by any means.
However, despite me having the skill to do this sort of thing (worked other unrelated jobs requiring the same before), I have never been comfortable with this... let me just call it “public work”, you know, where you do your job and lots of random people approach you because they want something, whatever that may be.
And now, after this entire year has gone pretty dang badly so far (not only for me), I just haven't had the strength to re-engage in negotiations where I need to keep track of many different things as well as having to also turn people down at times.
Last not least, don't blame you if you forgot, but my goal is to transition towards the creation of storytelling and comics.
The push for the Land before Time comic featuring mostly my versions of Littlefoot and Cera is happening right now, as I got a good bit of my creative momentum back.
If you are still somewhat familiar with what I had been announcing in the past, the entire core of this is still standing, so if you already are donating or consider to doing so, you will still get what you pledged for all the way.
Thanks to community interest from my stream chats as well as my discord server, the scenario of the comic has great potential for sequels and a lot of those who raised their voices seem genuinely interested in the world I have set up and are interested in seeing more.
I'd be happy to deliver.

General | Posted 2 years agoHello again, everybody!
First, thanks for all the lovely and kind words in the last journal! ~ always know that I read every single comment, even if I don't always know what to reply.
A week ago, our dear dog was in pretty bad shape the entire day, we seriously considered putting him down the next day and it hit me so hard that I was extremely sick to my stomach for several hours.
However, during the evening he began eating again, we found a good mixture of vitamins and meds to keep him from feeling too queasy.
Since then he eats and drinks way more regularly, starting barking at stupid shit again and wants to play pretty often. I thought it might be worth sharing this with you since it's certainly good news.
Between trying to recover, feeling sick and intense existential fears, I have been working on my artistic momentum again. Considering that I am still a tiny bit out of the loop, I am making progress and want to start replying to commission inquiries again and overall making myself less rare.
So far though, I am yet not over all the effects of the anxiety I suffered since mid May, so I want to kindly request your patience yet again.
Thanks again for all the encouraging words and that you bear with me. I haven't given up in the slightest.

An FYI Note
General | Posted 2 years agoHey everyone, about time I drop this note here as an FYI message.
I've been in a very bad head-space and not well at all, for several different reasons.
AI gave me another depressive episode, not only in relation to art. The sheer mass of people nowadays are so utterly uncritical and busy with (perceived)-progress worshiping, early renaissance religious fanatics pale in comparison. Yet everyone still thinks it's hip and “modern” to just deny any religion only for them to put an even worse eagerness into their pseudo science beliefs.
I mentioned that my mothers best friend died in mid May very unexpectedly. Even though her brother and sister were on it getting things in motion, the medical jurisprudence just ashed her body and possibly took organs for study purposes. Everything happened without permission or notification to the surviving dependants.
It's not the first instance of us hearing about stories like this. To say it is upsetting is an understatement.
Not even two weeks ago, our family dog got poisoned by an unknown third party, we may never find out. Even though we acted as soon as we noticed a change in his behavior, he has a damaged kidney now and needs proper medication.
All that is left is that we need to get him to eat properly again, however the past days had us all in constant worrying. My dad, who is suffers Parkinson thanks to the covid-vax scam, was especially hit hard by all of this. We had the dog in a clinic for two days, thinking he was very likely to die, only being barely 6 years old.
Last not least, I was told that I was an idiot, as I didn't have an answer as to when the last time was that I had dedicated time off, which was apparently last December.
After all of this, I surely will try to take good care of myself to the best of my abilities so I pick up my work again.
I have to say that I am fed up and tired to the maximum degree of bad news of any sort. I just want all of this to end. Some stability and routine is what I long for, or at least problems that can actively be solved, instead of me and my entire family constantly being confronted with shit we have next to no control over.

The FA Policy Update & News
General | Posted 2 years agoHey everyone, hope you're about fine too~
So, first things first, this year so far has been as bad as the last one in terms of everything. Last week a friend of my family suddenly and unexpectedly died at age 62, which was of course shocking for everybody.
Bad and infuriating news have become so commonplace that I just don't have it in me anymore and the only emotion I can still feel in this regard is the bitter and raw acceptance about all the things none of us has any influence over.
I am basically “steady as she goes”, slow but to the best of my abilities under the circumstances.
-
On FA's Policy
Of course, I too have seen Fenders journal about the policy updates and I am both on the fence and not on the fence on this one.
I have heard about people getting galleries and even patreon accounts deleted for “questionable content” as well as copyright infringement. The latter one directly being connected to the patreon termination, because that artist had made a career out of doing on-model Pokemon porn.
Now, you're free that have at me for being a fence-sitter on this one, but I was always in favor and always have been encouraging doing anything not on model if your intention is to make money, among other reasons.
I also have always been open and vocal against cub- and loli-art.
Since the AI art issue though, my positions began to shift on a couple of things and there is also something I can direct at FA in this regard.
My major complaint about Deviant-Art is that the blacklist- and tag-system don't seem to properly work, therefore forcing AI art constantly in my way. Only today I actually went back to check and the “mute” function (which was still ticked), plus 26 AI tags were still deposited in my settings. I added the 27th, just because.
In my opinion, FA has decided to do one of these strange decisions that leaves “us normies” only scratching our heads, because it seems so counter intuitive and unreasonable (same goes for the company that owned FA for a number of years).
What FA would need first and foremost is an air-tight and waterproof tagging and category system, an 18+ age restriction as well the addition of a set number of tags upon uploading anything. I have seen a number of artists with rather large following often not using any tags at all.
This would alleviate a lot of issues right from the top, because a few simple steps by the user would get all the stuff they do not wish to see out of their way.
Personally, I have begun to adapt to think that more liberties are better than moderation and restrictions if the means I mentioned above a maintained and implemented properly.
Let people do and post their cub art and blacklist it if you don't wish to see it, I know I would, because I don't like it either. Have a smaller, but well thought out rule system and harsh enforcement won't be an issue people lose their minds over.
I noticed this on booru sites, especially E621. Any user that adds false tags or only a minimum number is usually met with criticism and here's the thing: it works.
When I go out scouting for new art to see, I can safely browse rule 34 without having to see AI art, despite the place being full of it. A simple minus-tag does the job.
I want to add to all of this that I am ultimately more in favor of people just drawing and painting what they want, whether I personally like it or not. I do not believe thought- and fantasy-policing is gonna do any good.
In this regard, the booru sites function objectively better and more consistent than community hubs like FA and DA. This is not a loving endorsement on my end, but it rather should be an embarrassment for Deviant-Art and Fur-affinity.
Last not least, here are other places you can follow me on, I update these regularly along with FA. If needed, there are even a few more I could revive like Weasyl, FurryNetwork or Itaku.

Was and still am sick
General | Posted 2 years agoYeah well... I caught the flu, it's pretty light, but I had temperature for 2 days and it's definitely there. I was also extraordinarily worn out by the AI events (doing my best to avoid it at all costs) and extremely stressed out and depressed.
Just leaving this here to let you know, I wanna get back to messages and comments very soon.
In other news, I got a new stylus for my tablet and it handles a tad differently. Next commission is already sketched, but the lining felt so weird and came out rather strange, so I will push a study piece in between in order to avoid paid-for work looking awkward.
Stay tuned~

WhAt it means to be serIous about your art
General | Posted 2 years agoHello again everyone, I hope y'all have been fine!
Very recently I came across an artists journal and it got me to think about a couple of things I would like to bring up to you, because I consider them to be potentially very helpful.
Here are two quotes made by the aforementioned artist:
“My goal has never been to develop perfect painting and drawing skills. I think that's actually not something I'm even suited for.
My sole interest in art is to create things that I find beautiful and sexy.”
“Now, I understand that this type of tool is not allowed on FA. And since this character's creation involved AI, (...)”
NOTE: If you know who wrote this, you will not harass this person or go after them in any fashion, for such behavior would be inappropriate, uncalled for and gross misconduct!
~
Now... as you know, I and many of you too, are strictly against employing the AI tech for one reason or another or for all of them.
I must be honest and admit that I have grown rather quickly into an anti AI advocate both hard shell and hard core.
It seems that even those people with no malicious intentions whatsoever (like the artists I quoted) do not seem to understand the principle behind our arguments and concerns.
I bring up the fact that the data scrapers collect imagery and other things from unverifiable sources. I can also bring up how some people recommend only buying sketches from artists so an AI can do the rest of the job. Likewise I can mention how huge mainstreams artists are just being ignored and even mocked for not wanting their work to be included.
The companies providing these AI just charge forward, ignorant to those they are going to run over in the process, with on regard to any ethics.
My core principle in this is, that I find it questionable to support companies with such mannerisms, for in any other circumstance, people usually likewise would not give open or indifferent support to companies with a morally questionable modus operandi (such as products stemming from child labor or animal abuse or other mean with strong workers exploitation.)
Therefore I can not recommend using AI products before any sort of ethical code and code of conduct is establish, be it written in law or unwritten in society and I wish you could understand this, agree and act accordingly too, for this is in all our interest and not only self-serving.
~
Alright, I know I brought it up before, but for the sake of everyone understanding where I'm coming from, please keep reading on.
Most of you guys watching my FA account here came in after 2017. That is a bit of significance, because my freshmen years as an artist took place a long time before that, namely circa 2007 to 2012.
I became a freelancer with my art in early 2017, turning the hobby into profession. I had about 2700 watchers at the time; the amount had roughly doubled by 2020. That means most of you are probably not familiar with my early years and I want to tell you some anecdotes of mine and some lessons that I have learned, leading into why you have zero obligation or incentive to even consider using AI for art.
In late 2006 I had the image of Delilah flashing through my mind. I was 15 at the time and her appearance caused changes in my life, she gave me direction, this weird exotic magical entity that was so mysterious.
I decided to draw her so I wouldn't forget her face, in the process I fell over Fossil who had a character named Tyra; she looked eerily close to Delilah. In short: what Fossil did just came closest to what I had in my mind at the time.
Despite having established personal contact with Fossil, me taking too strong a reference to his work has caused a number of shit storms and me having been a stupid teenager certainly didn't help either.
Around 2008-9 I began to look around more actively, trying to find my own way and separating myself from the mindset that what Fossil had done was the right road map for me.
OK so... how is any of this relevant? You might be asking.
Well, even as a hobbyist I started looking for more in-depth knowledge other than trying to imitate artists that I liked, including more than just Fossil.
I came to the realization that I could only get the thing that I want if I understood the basics of how the tools work in the first place and here it comes:
It started to put me personally in the boss seat. It gave me agency over my own hand and I guess my own style started to form much more rapidly after the fact.
If I had taken an AI to “help” me, it would have been a short cut, robbing me of the opportunity to discover my preferences in how I want my art to actually look and the ideas coming along with it in later years. It would have robbed me of the knowledge I acquired otherwise.
Because... here is the thing: artists who already are experienced will know how to use AI in a manner that is not scam or any other term for shadiness you may come up with.
If I got my hands on an AI around 2010, you bet I would have considered using it as a shortcut. And why not, right? The image generation is not direct stealing and I can feed it only with selective files to avoid being too close to Fossil, all is well, right?
I can not blame any beginner artist for seeing the AI assistance as attractive. I can also not blame more experienced intermediate and professional artists for seeing it as useful for something.
What I can do though is relate to that, I have been there myself, up to my very neck.
Additionally, this includes a different aspect, I can likewise to any self-doubts you may have as an artist, we all have them, regardless of skill-level, I am by no means different.
I want to bring in the audience-aspect of it as well, because I witnessed directly the different approach some people are taking towards me.
I was told these things: I am a legend, I am a public figure with responsibility, I have been inspiring for a good bunch, I have a lot influence.
It is not my intention to further comment on these claims, but they show how perception can change over time if you stick to your guns and keep moving on.
Therefore, let me tell you that you only have to AIM at mastery and/ or perfection. It does not need to be your direct goal. In fact, making perfection your goal is more detrimental to the course, for perfection is nothing but a state of mind, that can not be achieved in physical reality.
Just aim at a good skill-level and outcome. This will empower you, it puts YOU in control. Nobody can take this away from you, nobody is going slander you for it.
The artist I quoted at the beginning seems very determined to keep using AI. They started out small, they are not inexperienced nor do they bad work. In fact, the progress they made over the years is admirable, their efforts recommendable to take example from.
When I personally need to have a dead on straight line or a clear cut and tight circle is required for something, then I use photoshops tools to help me out.
Regardless though, I still practice drawing circles and straight lines every time before I begin working on something, I made that my routine.
Being good or least familiar with these very basic things helps putting me in control over my craft, it helped big time becoming way more consistent with my style and it is something you can not directly make out in the art itself.
Folks on here and else-place started to praise and enjoy what I do after I entered this lane and kept going onwards. Something I clearly never heard was “real glad you could outsource X or Y so you didn't need to make it yourself”.
To finally close this, I think there are still more things I could bring up, but I have said those things before and besides, many of you are aware of a lot of this already.
I hope there is something in here that you can take away in good spirit.

To finally close this, I think there are still more things I could bring up, but I have said those things before and besides, many of you are aware of a lot of this already.
I hope there is something in here that you can take away in good spirit.

Smol Update
General | Posted 2 years agoHiho everybody!
I was a tiny bit absent for the past week because my brain needed a pause and towards the end I was also a tad sleep deprived.
At the moment I aim at working on commissions from monday to thursday and comic related work takes place on fridays. Expanding the comic work to 2 days a week is my short- to midterm goal.
Today sunday I began hitting the books again for work related education and more, intention being that I will continue to do so about 60-90 minutes a day until I covered and reiterated the most important things. My first focus will be on figure drawing, drawing hands and landscapes, followed by color and light and imaginative realism.
Once I went through all of that, for something new, I will shift towards my books about animation by Preston Blair, Don Bluth and Richard Williams. (Though I guess studying my books about comic creation alongside the other things shouldn't hurt either...)
I will get back to messages and contacts shortly.
Stay safe and be sure to not get consumed by negativity~!

Beware
General | Posted 3 years agoSo apparently it's become commonpractice already to charge money if you "want" to see stolen art work from some algorithm. Heck, I could swear I can make out some style elements I have seen done by real people.
https://www.deviantart.com/mr-bluntertainment
Don't fret though, the AI itself is not gonna profit from anything, neither will you or I ~ but this person there does.
I have been thinking quite a bit about it lately. AI art defenders usually call it a "tool" without explaining what the tool is supposed to be for, then think they make a point by explaining how the theft works. Honest concerns are being met with either arrogance or willful ignorance.
https://e621.net/posts/3816194
I'm honestly sorry that I can't be a better person about this than I currently am, but I will move forward relentlessly blocking people, using -tags and blacklist features whenever I can. AI image generators are only able to function the way they do because our collective work has been fed into it against our will and consent, more often than not, even private information is being taken with zero ethical concerns whatsoever.
This deserves being banned, prohibited by law and erased. It's a technology for lazy people with ignorant intentions in the best case and harshly malicious ones in the worst case. It invites all the wrong people for all the wrong reasons.
Now, I'm not being very nice here, am I?
Well guess what, AI art defenders are not very nice either, it's nothing but an act. Explaining to people how exactly the theft works is not gonna convince me of anything. Theft remains theft. A soul- and heartless one at that, to make some nice lazy-ass money.
The sheer lack of any morale, basic decency to purchase a license, to simply ask or credit artists and other creators. The sheer lack of ANY sort of empathy from those who see AI as a good thing is utterly disgusting and should be ridiculed by anybody who still has a brain and think for a moment how these people are going about this.
And for the love of god, don't come at me with this "you can't stop progress" bullshit. I have seen a few people saying it like that, referring to computers. Well think again mate, you still need people to operate these computers in order for them to be useful.
Of all the old computer documentaries I have seen released since 1982, nobody ever had this attitude like the AI bros "get robbed sucker LOL".
I could go on and on raging about this, but the bottomline is that I have an idea about why I just can't find any convincing point in favor of AI: it's very likely because these people know very well deep down that what they are doing is shady as shit.

Triassic 2023 Things
General | Posted 3 years agoHello everybody! I hope you too had an acceptable start into the new year! At least mine was, got a solid burn on my right thumb, but it wasn't as bad as I feared, pfff. I really missed having fireworks, it was great.
In connection to the last journal https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10418112/ , I want to let you know a few things.
Many of my journals are usually about negative things that by nature aren't very uplifting, however I always thought that I have to let people know when something holds me back (I want to change things up and report on better stuff as well, because we all can use some higher vibes).
Since I last posted in December, death and sickness had been the talking point almost every day. After 4-5 weeks it's begun to notably wear on my overall mood, to a degree where I had to bring it up and draw myself out of things just so I can somewhat focus on my work.
It turned me into a pretty sour, jealous and spiteful person lately. That only brings out the worst and I very much don't like it one bit, because that is neither who I usually am nor who I want to be.
Well now that you know that, on top of my burnout late last year, I have also become a bit insecure and very anxious, especially since I do not wish to half-ass the pictures YOU guys'n gals paid me to do, you know, just to get it out of the way, ain't gonna happen. Your hard earned money is gonna be rewarded with the best I can do.
So.
I'm working my way back, slowly but surely. Intention is to get the comic back going, major enemy there too being anxiety, I admit. I want to hit some of my books again and refresh some of my knowledge so I can tackle the things that can be improved more efficiently.
I recently went through my furry art collections to correctly sort and also delete a few things. Apart from my brain starting to go on strike after 25.000 images (and that wasn't even all of it lol), I always find it interesting to see how furry art has evolved since I started saving images I like in 2008.
That of course includes my own stuff as well. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in an underdog state. Other artists reel in great numbers and traffic, but I feel that I don't (I'm still a number slut, I know it's not very great...).
But as I mentioned, things have been moving since 2008, not only in terms of skill, but also in style and feel. My 2010-13 images don't really feel like those from 2016-17 and likewise the sort of transitional period I had in 18-21 also feels pretty different (to me at least.)
I'm always on this train of thinking that it's one continuous line, when it probably really isn't. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate that you folks seem to equally like what I put out, be it dragons OR dinosaurs from various franchises!
Overall, I like the direction I started to take last year and I want to keep improving on that level for the time being, since I feel I need to do more of that, the visuals seem to favor my preferences.
The big new thing I still want to get into is telling little stories; something that has been missing more often than not.
Well well... that broadly renders out what I wanted to tell you folks. I hope you have a great rest of your day and don't hesitate to pay me a visit in one of my streams! :)

TMI Update
General | Posted 3 years agoHello everyone,
thank you for all the comments in the last journal. I haven't been very communicative, but I read them all.
My artblock is on the way out now towards Christmas, however there were also other things weighing down. Usually I keep things clean and separate, but since I know my personal situation is not unique by any stretch, I would like to fill everyone in this time.
My father is sick with probably parkinson, my grandmother is 90 years old and is not all there anymore as you would expect and I support my mom when I can so she isn't almost entire alone with this. In our surrounding a whole row of people ranging from 1 to 75 years old have either died or became extremely sick over the course of the past 6 weeks (MS, organ failure, bronchitis, medical misconduct, the list goes on, seriously bad stuff).
Many say 2022 has been a very bad year already and it seems like it wants to top things off with a bunch of huge stinkers before it's over.
So yeah, I know I am by far not the only one in cirumstances like this and I suppose it's good advice trying to stay strong and make it through.
Maybe I can make one more picture this year, which would be work 105, making 2022 my most productive year ever so far. I only wish it wasn't so tainted by all the misery going on around us.
Be safe everyone, I wish you all a Merry Christmas soon, enjoy your holidays as best as possible!

General | Posted 3 years agoGot sick too sometime ago, pesky cold. Gotta work on it, because right now when I sit infront of my tablet, nothing is happening. I got no ideas, next to no drive and my mind is a blank.
That's why there was so little activity from me recently, sorry about that, but I gotta get over this first.

Commissions October & November
General | Posted 3 years agoHey everyone,
recently my phone broke and I don't have a new one yet, therefore for the time being I have no access to paypal, what's app or my bank.
As soon as I get a new phone I will open up new commission slots to get that ball rolling, but right now it doesn't make much sense, I REALLY prefer this to be done orderly so I don't mess up.

Huge Franchises contra OC's
General | Posted 3 years agoFuzzy topic, please don't take any of what I will say as an attack, I barely even know how to begin or how to nail the point... In fact, I am not entirely sure what my point even is.
The furry fandom seems to strongly incentivise artists to draw/ paint/ produce characters that are not made by individual artists, but parts of massive mainstream media franchises. MLP, Digimon and Undertale are examples I can think of right away.
I have seen artists who create and invest work into their own world and characters and they do get a fan-base for it. However when these artists then put out basically the same work (same style and tech), but instead draw Renamon, Toriel or some FNAF character, everything suddenly spikes up: views, fave-hits, general traction. Comments though seem to be a mixed bag there.
I'm not sure, I suppose I wish that more people in the FF would give original characters a better chance on a larger scale.
The way things are right now make it seem like there are two rails things go on: the newer casual mainstream ones who just want to see ANYTHING from the super huge massive franchise and the more old-school nerdy furries who pay closer attention to the oc-stuff.
Another thing I personally always notice with myself is a real issue of over-exposure. I had this for many years, especially with MLP.
When I scout for what's new, I go on e621 to see all sorts of things people freshly upload. I DO NOT JOKE or exaggerate when I tell you that from 2010 to 2020, literally each and every single day there were always at least 2-8 MLP new related images on page one.
Having to constantly see one specific franchise being referenced over and over can really kill the tolerance and beyond a certain point it just gets annoying to see it so often.
Yes, there is the blacklist feature people like to point to, but here's the thing: I can't just (or YOU shouldn't just) blacklist everything I get slightly annoyed by, because then I would also miss out on some genuinely well done images!
Because for me, art technique, pleasant looking line-work and fun settings do indeed matter.
The latter point connects back to what I said earlier: well done art, but a lesser known character tends to get shafted by most people, but just because it's (stand-in, pick any super popular character) “Krystal Fox”, all of a sudden everyone goes ape-shit over it.
I know it's not the intended message, but you can't scold me for thinking that this seems to signal that most audiences don't really care about the effort put into the art, but more about the franchise.
And last for now, this is where it gets really fuzzy, because I myself also enjoy characters from other franchises. Most of you will know it's Dragon Tales, Land before Time and Dinosaur Train.
Granted those are all very small, therefore the over-exposure is not an argument, but I still bring it up, just so you know that I don't wanna deny anybody's enjoyment of any franchise.
If however there are already over 200.000 images of a certain franchise, I personally always feel like there is nothing I can possibly add anymore.
Last year I made an image of Lola Bunny just for the purpose of jumping on a bandwagon and some extra views.
It felt so utterly hollow and meaningless that I deleted it 3 days after I uploaded. It had over 530 faves and close to 2000 views (which is still a LOT for me), but next to nobody cared enough to say anything about the art itself. Nobody wondered where the image went and some of my longer time followers even told me they outright forgot I made that image in the first place.
...well anyway, maybe this is something you have thought about as well, so what are your 2 cents on this topic?
Stay tuned!

Agenda Update
General | Posted 3 years agoHellas hellas folks, I hope you're still surviving the congo climate and sudden temperature drops ~ headaches kept killing me during the past days.
I wanted to inform you that there will be a bit of a delay next month in August because I need a bit of time to recharge some creative energy. I will get back to messages and replies, as well as commission talk though, that stuff needs to be sorted after all!
Once that's over I will definitely pick the commission stack up again, I just needed a bit of more practice recently and work on some things here and there.
Stay safe and tuned!

July Commissions CLOSED & A Twitter Issue
General | Posted 3 years agoAs always 4 slots available ~ 4/4 taken. CLOSED
I will get back to your messages on Monday, July 4th, so I can keep the workflow with the art up today and because weekend is getting a bit close (this will only be the case in instance like this).
---
In other news, I don't know when to squeeze it in otherwise, I was recently thinking of something.
There are probably already like... 50 people ready to tell me that I am categorically wrong on all levels and just forget about this, but hear me out please.
So there is actually quite a number of people I found on twitter who make art I find enjoyable for one reason or another. Usually it's very nice linework, or just very appealing images in general.
However a good number of these seem to use twitter ONLY, with no link to any other gallery. Some of them don't even have a patreon or something alike linked.
The issue I have is: Twitter is absolutely horrendous for artwork. I am one of those relics who mostly likes to see what other people draw and paint and Twitter... must say it, is very disincentivising for checking out peoples work. I am just not all that interested in memes, shitposting, foodporn, random findings, politics, etc. you know the typical list.
If I want to go into what someone actually drew, I have to infinitely scroll through all these -for me, an interested viewer- meaningless and irrelevant things. Then twitter might have a hiccup and jumps right back to the top. It's tedious.
All I am asking for is that IF you happen to be an artist who uses twitter like that, PLEASE just have one place linked in the bio that is dedicated to your art only. I am not even asking for tags, names, numbers, doesn't matter, no need to bother much with that. Just a place where we can see what you've been working on!

My personal politics and why you should care
General | Posted 3 years agoHey everyone!
I thought it's a good time again to let you know what my agenda has been and what it will be for the upcoming weeks.
As you may (or may not) have noticed (yet), things have been on a good upturn for my work this year so far. The second quarter is not even over yet and I already surpassed my entire output of 2021 by 5 pieces; there are a few more commissions in there too now, thank god.
Recently I was actually feeling this though as my arm became increasingly heavy, so it's not that I am burned out on things, I rather literally have to take it a bit slower for a while because my body says so.
What I wanna do right now is completing the size charts, with which I am already halfway through with, plus a little extra, however that flows a bit into Patreon work. After that there will of course be a row of commissions again to keep up the momentum there.
And last not least, I want to put up an on FA again which can then run from July to end of the year. I noticed having one is still better than having none.
In the meantime, I hope all of you stay safe and tune and anticipate more from me! *thumbs up*

Commissions for May 2022 CLOSED
General | Posted 3 years agoWelp, that was a lot faster than I expected.
Huge thank you for the strong interest in commissioning me!
Honestly, I didn't expect my commission discord ID to be stormed within a week that much. I think I oughta leave a window of 4-7 days actively open when many requests come in. Other than that, I shall check the id a bit less frequently so I can still react to any questions you guys may have.
Bear with me please, I'm still trying to get a good smooth flow into that since it's been pretty stressful for me~

Long Story Short
General | Posted 3 years agoI updated my TOS and pricesheet and reformed a couple of things in order to make everything a bit simpler for everyone!
There is a dedicated Discord ID now on which you can hit me up about commissions and things! Trias-Works#4095
I would say this way it's a bit easier and less a barrier compared to having to log into an e-mail account the old fashioned way. Summed up, we can basically handle everything via discord, except for the one large file I still make, because discord thinks 8mb is acceptable in the 2020s... xD

Furthermore I want to introduce a new patreon tier around the 20$ range, intended for polls and more direct influence and discussion, as well as serving for an additional inbetween step since the jump from 1-7 to then 85 is rather harsh. More info on that later though, because my top priority will be commissions, probaly till summer.

(Questions, inquiries and anything regarding commissions can be discussed via Discord)
Watch me live! https://picarto.tv/Trias
WIPs:
After all necessary points have been negotiated and agreed upon i.e. pose, level of elaboration etc., you will receive a draft to look over. You may request minor changes if details need adjusting. After approval, NO further WIPs will be shown (this is all to ensure a fluent and quick workflow, which is why everything is talked about beforehand!).You can eventually watch me work on your piece on my picarto channel: https://picarto.tv/Trias
If you have an account there, make sure to either activate the notification system for when I go live OR you can look out for my personal notifications, the most frequent ones will be on my discord server and often times FurAffinity, DeviantArt, InkBunny and Twitter!
What you receive on completion of your piece:
Once your commission is completed, you will get the finished work in two sizes (one is more a thumbnail format or placeholder), as well as the draft stage sketch, the clear line version and the flat colored one, (they all are in .jpg!).
Due to Discords filesize limitation, I will unfortunately have to send you the master file still via e-mail. The master file is suitable for printing, in the maximum resolution, ca. 3000-5000px and in the .png format (master files won't be made for sketches!).
Payment:
When the payment is all done, you will be put on my FA's profile comissioners list under either your FA name or the one you use most frequently (i.e. you perhaps only have a DeviantArt account, etc.)
I can not issue refunds.
Price estimation:
I calculate prices roughly by the estimated time it takes me to finish them, round about 10-12$ (USD) per hour. If you want, for example, a very complicated background like a full landscape, I will charge an additional 30-40$ because those usually can take up to 4 hours or more. Something similar applies to characters with a lot of details i.e. a high number of horns, more complicated outfits and the like.
When the background is less important and just meant to fill in a void, for example simple color gradients or even photos or screencaps, I calculate next to none for them since the process of making those takes usually much less than an hour (I still edit and adjust them regardless).
Patreon Works (FYI only):
The highest tier supporters of my patreon hand in commissions on a much looser basis at a reduced price. I work on them less frequently, but they are there and on schedule nonetheless.
