Is anybody out there who's annoyed by it just as well???

I mean I've never seen such an overweening mass of "My little Pony" artwork like in these days - WHY??? Why do people produce so much of it?

Getting a little better; I can look much more relaxed at things now (especially at that librarian-cajun-style thing). Got a 2 month job in our local election office again, maybe a part-time job at a museum too.
Bought an a5 and 4 sketchblock and started practicing humans and landscapes. I ain't gonna forget about the dino and furry stuff of course. I will try to go on the projects again to show you guys new stuff, finally!

Just as the topic says.
As only a few people of you know, I am currently studying "library- and information" science and unhappy with it to no end.
It became worse since the term started, although I already had this key moment on January 3.
I'm sleeping not so good anymore, I lack concentration more often and have more headaches than normal. An ass-full of work which is not bringing you towards the direction you feel you must walk to, how does that feel? You may can imagine.

In two days, there will be the first consultation for the portfolios. I will be there.
I hope I can study "illustration" in the campus I'm currently on. After I read the description of what they're going to learn there I thought "that's it! 100%!". But joining them is hard, I don't know if I can mae it...

I am afraid of all the tasks.
But nevermind, I already talked to two profs there (both great men!). The first said my talent is clearly visible I still need to spread out some more (which means drawing more than just anthropomorphic dinosaurs xD). The other one encouraged me by everything he said like "If you really wanna do it, then just ask some profs if you can visit some of their seminars.

You, who read this here on FA, are the ones who know what I can do in art and how important it is for me.
What do you say?

Yeah yeah... Most of the stuff I do is solo-art, black and white on top of that.

Frist of all, thanks for all the comments on the last journal. Took me out of that senseless thinking!
Secondly I want to tell you my current work-status:
The core of my new projects is up and finished after solving the last issues!
Although I'm working my ass off writing the stories, there is still one and a half missing before I can show them on the website.
But when I forget about those few bad-ass texts the site still needs, it's pretty much done and ready.
...too bad I still won't declare it officially

What's the matter with you?
I mean... At least seven or eight pieces of the stuff I recently uploaded seems to be just as appreciated like the stuff I did like 4 years ago. Am I too simple or what? I mean everytime (that's quite a number) when I see Artist X submitting a sketch he/she "vomitted" (no offense, really!) on the paper, and gets lots of attention an stuff, it makes me kinda sad to see that pictures I put hours of work in are almost ignored in comparison.
No offense to anyone of you, but I'm honestly interested in what you actually want to see in my gallery! If the majority here wants me to do more REAL erotic and pornographic stuff, then I'll do it! No big deal - absolutely!
But if that's really the case, then I would be happy to change my behaviour in the choice of images worth uploading to FA (& the other sites).

...to make this clear, I do NOT mean to offend anyone. I just want to know what kind of stuff you would like to have, so I have to feel less sad about the little attention my "artistic" pictures get.

So it has been damn long since I posted the last journal in here. I know there probably aren’t many people who actually read my long journals, but since so many of you guys watched my account, I feel like I should let you know the status quo.

I’m very busy with college at the moment…

Many things were changing to good for me in this year until now and I have like a ton of new inspiration.
Well now that I already started talking about changes… My work will change in itself! I must admit that I really grew tired of just drawing, illustrating or even painting nothing more than stinky boring pin-up’s.
What I will show you in future will differ from what I’m known for by now and it will be a surprise. I’m sorry for telling you exactly of what this is going to look like, but I sure can tell that Triassic-World is going to evolve. You will see a couple of new websites I created myself, with completely new contents and layout as I am currently learning HTML & CSS and the like…
It really is about time for me to tell you. I owe it to my both my dinosaur- AND my furry-characters.

I have been admitted to the college!!! (...if that's written correctly...xD)

Oh Jesus! Finally! After two horrible years of waiting and waiting and not knowing what to do for the most part, I'm on the train again!!! I know I can concentrate much better on drawing and stuff when I'm busy studying - seriously! Oh it's just wonderful I tell you, only some minutes ago I saw it on their system that I'm IN.

Other than that I had plenty of time to figure out some things about myself and all. The comic I have been working on during my last stream is halfway done I continue doing it every day now. I didn't forget my commissioners at all, so you guys can relax: I'm on it! When these things are done, I have a series called "The Retro Series" where I updated a few pics I made in 2008.
And when that's done too, I will have a little more space to focus on some other things which have to be done.

Gosh I'm excited!

..oh there still is something. I recently finished writing the stroy about Delilah and Sora - the updated version. I also started to translate and I need somebody who does a beta-reading on it. So if there is anybody good at english-class, please have a look (just pm) ^^"

It has been about three weeks since I was whining about my artistic blockade. Right today I guess I'm through with it. There were several things helping me getting out of the swamp:
First of all a huge THANK YOU to the many people who were asking if I'm alright and stuff - it really was gold in my eyes to read that you guys'n gals care! ^^
Many people probably know "Snap!"? I know them for almost my entire life, but till some days ago I never realised their stunning rythyms and tunes ^^ ...so I bought the first three albums.
I also contacted Jim Hardiman because I wanna know more about the character "Desiree" and his way of working in general. Additionally I always wanted to talk to people who are about 20 years in the fandom now.

During the weeks when I didn't took a pen into my hands, I thought a lot about my stuff and stuff from people I appreciate. I think I kinda figured out what I oughta do to go a better way. Therefore, I just started working on a small comic -nothing galactical, less than 20 frames for sure- to show you what I'm talking about. To the two people who're still waiting for their pics: I continued inking and already practiced drawing some mammals, so you see I -of course- didn't forget you at all :)

...oh yeah, Maybe I will make some sorta "Stream-Session" you know? I can't really tell yet since I need to figure out how it all works before, but I'll let you know. I think I'll stream when I color some pics since watching me inking is boring as hell (maybe it isn't I oughta test that). Anyway.

I just don't know what it is. It's probably the absence of work, since I joyful look forward to the university in october. Right at the moment, everything I'd like to do is nothing but boooring! Drawing is no fun at all these days and working with photoshop is exhausting as running 10km on my treadmill... I feel ahshamed because I can't work on the comissions as much as I actually want to, but I am not happy with anything and to be honest I think I did a bad job on the last one. That doesn't mean I will quit doing anything, it just bends the time I need - I'm really sorry.
After all it is not like that I have nothing to do... My list is still quite full of things I could and should do. I do not think it's all senseless, it just feels like "god leave me alone".

If there is somebody among the readers who knows what I feel like and how to come over it, I'll gladly accept his/ her word.

So I haven't been posting that much the past six weeks. I admit that I didn't really feel like drawing back then, although I practiced a lot since last week. Not really knwing what to do, I decided to update the biography pages on triassic-world. For that I was searching for some pictures of clothes back in the 70s and 80s, but it wasn't as successfull as I thought - anyway.

Right now I am busy with a commission and I know there is still quite a list of requests I could dare a look at :)
Other than that, I noticed that I barely show any interests at the other people around here, something I'd really oughta change at least a little, since I still enjoy being around!

Since I can't get that much replies to my finished artwork, I'll state in a journal how much I reached so far.
The number of pictures I still need to finish has become uncounted again. I don't know why, but I guess it's because of the many doodles and sketches I did the past weeks. There is quite a number of good ones among them. By now I have six finished photoshop-colored pictures here on triassic-world. I wish that people would notice the comment-function of it, although I have to admit myself that it's not the best. So if anyboday is interested in that: When you clicked on a picture in the gallery, just hit the smiley on the upper right side and a text-box appears. Type your comment there and click on the floppy-disk button on the upper right side to save it. It's not that complicated after all, just unapparent.

To my writings that are still in the making: The story to introduce Delilah and Sora is almost done. Recently I added a whole scene to it. Additionally I started to write fragments to the intro-stroy for Janet. Other than that, I have ideas for the stories of Glenda and Robin, Venus and Iko.

After I finished my pile of pictures, I will focus on the website again and update the bios massively! And I think I will have a closer look to a new template as well.

I have about 9 pictures in stock that I'm going to color and at least 3 others planned to draw. But I really really lack some comments and critique for the work I already had with them and that sucks a lot. Sometimes one may need some replies (positive or negative doesn't really matter) just to keep things going.
Well what I can tell now is that I will never ever work like this again and that I really really hope that you poeple are going to like my newstuff alot since I tried out some new things!

Oh I almost forgot! Thanks a bunch for more than 1000 watches!!!

I normally do not write real personal things in the journals on these sites, but in this case, I think I need to do so.
Clearing and explaining some things...
Well, even though I wish I could say it was not like that, 2011 was a damn bad year for me after all.
I couldn't get into the university because of a forgotten signature, I couldn't get a sideline, no one could give me a traineeship. Shops, libraries, archieves, post-offices, bookbinders: NO NO NO NO NO. Additionally I had to pay a driving license I don't need, my website broke and I had a pulled muscle in my left arm, in perfect combination with a destroyed dvd-drive, and a wrong computer programm for 50 bugs.

...sigh...

In 2011, I drank more than in my entire life. It was not that much though, but not typical for me.
The only thing that really went out well was my art. Not enough to fill an entire year if you ask me...

But some of my friends told me that 2012 is going to be a good one among our years, armageddon in december yes or not xD
I got to say that I am disappointed about how less people notice the pictures I really put work in. They hardly get as half as views or whatever than the sexy pictures. Perhaps I am not wrong when I think furaffinity is just not the platform for other art than pin-ups or porn.
So I put it this way: All of the sexy artwork I do is hoing to published here, and the other stuff somewhere else.
I also like to say that I still work on the requests, some of them are finished already, and I like to continue doing some fan-service. Something I did to less during the past years.
So after all, I am always open for business!
