Posted 11 years agoI've kinda reached the point that I'm tired of running in circles. Yeah, I'm a canine. Chasing my tail is supposed to be fun....but I'm worn out. I'm tired of waiting for things to change, and I'm tired of always wondering what I did wrong -this- time. I'm tired of seeing things happen because someone ordered it, or suggested it.
Some of you may know who or what I'm talking about. Wanna bitch at me for saying this? Fine, let's go in private. You have my skype. Don't know? Then it probably doesn't concern you. I just...need to vent, so I'm putting this here. I don't expect anything to change. It hasn't for a while now.

If someone wronged you, it was perfectly fair and fine to wrong them back. And now this? You fucking coward. You're nothing. In the back of my mind, regardless of how much I said I hated you, how much I said I wanted nothing to do with you....I still cared. I never thought you would stoop this low. The man I IDOLIZED growing up would never do this. The man I did everything I could to be just like would never do this.

I learned something about myself the past couple months. I don't deserve what I have. My friends....my family....my wife....any of it.
No, if anyone even gives a fuck, I'm not suicidal. As tempting as the thought currently is....I'm to much of a coward to go through with it. And that's probably for the best....depending on who you ask.
I've got a wife who loves me....yet I seem determined to ruin it. I have a family who cares....but I shut them out. I can't cut in college....I fail everything I start.

It's hard to make friends in this fucked up world. Be thrilled when you do, and keep them close. It's rare to find a friend that is truly a friend....it's even rarer to find one that is close enough to be family.
I've been lucky enough to experience that in my life with a few select people. They have been the greatest friends....and better brothers and sisters than my own family. I'll cherish those relationships until the day I die.
But....sometimes those relationships don't last that long. Sometimes, people like me...do something to ruin them. I don't even know what I did....I just know it's my fault.
To my sister: You've been one of the best friends I've had since I can remember....ever. You've always been there for me and for that I thank you. I know life is busy now. For both of us, but especially you. And I know I haven't been the best brother or friend...I always have something to rant about....I always need a shoulder to cry on. You've always been there, and again...I thank you.
I've always wished there was a way I could repay you for being there....I just never seem to find out how.
And now....something's changed. I know you say you're busy....but I feel like something's wrong. I feel like I've ruined something. I feel like I've driven away another friend....and I don't know why.

Posted 16 years agoAny of you ever got so used to a routine, that when you're forced to break it you just don't know what the hell to do with yourself?
You didn't even know you fell into said routine, until the evidence is thrown in your face. It's like an addiction you didn't even know you had. What do you do, right?
That happened to me tonight. I've fallen into a pattern, and when that pattern was broken, I just did not know what the hell to do with myself. Jesus I'm some kinda fool. Addictions were made to be broken, I guess. Here's hoping.
Eh....guess I'm not done. Got to much on my brain to go to sleep right now.
Anyone ever get so wrapped up in talking to a friend, you'd do just about anything to keep their attention? You know that they've got a life outside of you, but it makes you lose your way...you don't know how to entertain yourself or what to do if that friend isn't there? If you don't know what I'm talking about, please never learn. It's a horrible feeling...especially when you're unconsciously willing to sink low enough to throw a small pity party just to get the person to comfort you....or beg them to let YOU help THEM with something, just so you feel needed.
I mean shit, you should be able to go a day or two without talking to one of your friends, right? Hopefully you've got more than one close friend. Even if you don't, going a day or two without a full conversation never killed anyone, did it?
