I just wanted to give a little update! I have been really busy with school which is why I haven't posted much of my own artwork. I also don't really take commissions anymore unless there are special circumstances or I open a random journal.
Also, with this recent attack on FA, I will be starting to pull away from this site a bit. Its one thing to have a crash or attack on the site, but a security issue this massive - that bothers me.

Art Opinions Needed!!
Posted 10 years agoSo, I've been thinking about this alot lately and I'm not sure how it would actually work, if at all, haha.
Basically, because I can't really take commissions very often but I still wanna draw and art for people, I was thinking a sort of request/PWYW type set up for commissions.
Basically I'd open like 1-2 slots at a time and take requests for different art things I'm in the mood to draw (Different styles, complexity, detail, etc) or pick your ideas that I would enjoy working on and then leave things open for tips. So you wouldn't have to pay, but if you wanted to tip me for the art, the option is always there.
I don't know how people or fellow artists feel about this or what a better type of set up would be?
I plan to keep charging for badges, just less ($15USD) to pay for shipping, laminating and funds for new Copic colors so I can offer more to you guys.
Also, what would you guys like to see art wise from me?

EZ Cool Down vests? What about cheaper options? Anyone use cooling gel packs and just make your own type of contraption? Suggestions on local stuff you can buy/use?

Let's start with, suicide and mental illness. Can we talk about this please?
We've all had dark days, we've all had pain.
Speaking as someone who has lost a close friend to suicide and someone who will most likely lose more due to the profession I have chosen to work in, I just want to say...
You are NOT alone. Please. PLEASE. Reach out. Someone is ready to listen, someone is ready to help you move forward from the dark place. You just have to reach. No one can help you if you don't ask. Take a step forward, come into the light. Go outside, treasure the world that surrounds you. There is beauty in every single breath you take. Take a moment, just listen to the bird's song. Hear all those beautiful notes. Sit in amazement of the technology around you. There are so, SO many wonderful things in life!
Sorry, I just had to get that out there. Sending love and hugs to everyone who is feeling lost and dark in this moment. Rise up and embrace the wonders around you. You have the world at your fingers tips, seize it. <3

Biggest Little Fur Con!
Posted 11 years agoAlright, so originally I was planning to go to Anthrocon this year for my first ever furry convention, however, friends of mine chose the same weekend to get married! So obviously, I want to be at their wedding! Haha
I have been debating which con I was going to go to and am limited in my choices. I can only go to cons during the summer because I'm in a professional program school wise and can't really take the time off for conventions.
So, I have officially narrowed it down, booked my flight, hotel and registered. I'm heading to BLFC this year for my first furry convention EVER! :D I'm so excited! Also a little nervous, haha.
If you're going, please come say hi! I'm super friendly and pretty easy going ^_^

Happy Halloween! And Two years on FA!
Posted 11 years agoI can't believe I've been here for two years already! Crazy!!
I would have posted a journal yesterday, but I was so busy with Halloween shenanigans :DD
So, for Halloween, I got up and got ready and brought my fursuit to school! :D I changed at school and wore it to class all day :D It was AWESOME! :D
What was really funny was the fact that people didn't notice me right away! In the first class, a classmate of mine who sits almost right behind me apparently didn't even see me. I got up when the class was over and she jumped with surprise HAHA She didn't notice a large animal sitting in front of her? Crazy!
Then, for the second class, the prof concluded his lecture, was talking out of the lecture room and walked past me then like, jumped in glee and started laughing! "WOW! That's a great costume!!" HOW do you NOT see a giant animal sitting in your class? :P It was REALLY funny!
Got lots of pics that I'm still waiting to get from people from the day, but it was fun. Lots of positivity and questions :)
Got home, power napped, snacked and hydrated, then went trick-or-treating in suit with some other local furs :) It was great despite the fact that I'm not quite used to the heat and fursuit stamina hahahaha. People took pics of us and everyone LOVED our suits. Got to entertain some adorable kids on our walk too ^_^
So much fun! Can't wait to suit some more!! :D$4 Commissions!! :D
