In case you were wondering why there's suddenly less art from me, I've been super busy with the mass effect big bang (I'm not only writing a story for it, but I'm also doing art for four different authors!) so I haven't had much time for streaming or drawing turians etc. Plus I'm traveling a bit right now. But hopefully when I get home I can do a few streams and requests again!

Anyway point is I didn't fall of the face of the earth :)

I have no idea what... but it makes me want.

Step 1: Be at least mildly horny in order to have some motivation to write porn.
Step 2: Write some porn.
Step 3: If what you're writing is actually sexy, get distracted by how much more turned on you are now.
Step 4: Deal with the whole turned-on issue....
Step 5: Damnit. Motivation to write porn is now gone. Wait until at least mildly horny in order to have motivation to write.

Repeat.

Lol... that's why it takes so long for me to update my stories. Sadly it also kindof applies to art too.

... sigh. Some days I manage to feel lonely despite my misanthropy. I blame magic mike.

I am actually trying to get work done today... but this song won't stop playing in my head. Sigh.

Fortunately I actually really like this song so at least the torment is pleasant.

Some days I really feel the need to draw something, and yet everything I try and draw just won't come out right. Some days that just means I need to keep trying, but other days the more I draw, the worse it gets.
Does that happen to anyone else? What do you do to get out of your rut?

(no spoiler) Mass Effect rant time.
I sit there telling myself I'm not going to play the EC because I was just starting to get my emotional equilibrium back after my first playthrough. But we all know that's complete bullshit. Of course I'm going to play it.

And then of course I realize I haven't even kept up my MP so I have to go do THAT first. Bye bye three hours. Ok, admittedly a fun three hours.

So now I go to bite the bullet. To submit myself to the emotional torture that is bioware.
And the update locks up my Xbox instead.

After all that, I can't even fucking play it.

Sigh. At least I get to watch the first half of the Garrus scene over and over till I figure out the problem.

I just put myself through that ending again... for nothing.

I am wondering which art programs artists use most around here.
I've been using the old but familiar paintshop pro 9 but it has become increasingly frustrating to use since it keeps crashing all the time. So I'm thinking about getting something new since I've been spending more time doing digital art lately.

Any suggestions?
