Heya folks,

It's been an interesting 3 months since I've bowed out of the food industry to pursue my dream and despite the low times and the struggle I honest haven't been happier. Everyday I get to get up and draw. And it's freaking fantastic. And though I can't afford to go back to school yet I do have a stack of art books I've finally started going through. With daily, dedicated practice I'm excited to see how much I'll develop my skill over the year.

To make sure I'm staying on top of my studies I'm posting the sketches up over on my Patreon. Right now I'm doing a 20 Day Challenge to draw at least 10 faces a day to become more familiar with human facial structure and expressions. If I miss a day I have to go back to day one. I flubbed it a few times in the beginning but right now I'm on day 10! Half way there! Not sure what I'll focus on next or for how long, but I'm excited all the same. Also another positive note I'm moving to a more affordable place and I'm hoping with the lowered expenses I can start making time to start work on comics. Like, I'm sitting on several story lines cause each time I've had an idea I went and wrote everything that came to mind, but I haven't finished any of them and it's bugging me. So yeah, moving out in May, got a bit of time to get the funds together for that! It's all gonna be good.


Finally Commissions, it feels so nice to have a regular flow of work to do. Over the next several days and possibly into the beginning of next week I'll be finishing all my Pin-ups and YCHs. I'm gonna be posting small YCHs daily, but will be finishing at least two Pin-ups a day until I'm all caught up. Starting next week I'm gonna be focusing on one illustration a week in the order that's listed in my Queue.

Earlier this month I get my Terms of Service a long needed overhaul. The last time I looked at that thing was in Dec of 2014. The methods to my madness have changed so much since then, but its still nice and simple. Basically if you've already worked with me before you don't have to worry about it. If you're considering commissioning me in the future just give it a peak at some point.

Also Patreon, the first time I tried it I didn't quite take to it. I attempted to model mine after what others were doing and I just didn't enjoy it. Now, as I strive to hone my skills it will serve as a place I post my studies. Right now I'm working on human head structure. Doing a 20 day commitment of at least 10 heads a day, if I miss a day I start the day counter over.

All my sketches are made public so you wont have to pay to see them, Patreon is really serving as a tip jar. Though I do have a $15 reward for full colour bust (Belt line and up) every month. There are a few things I wish to update on my patreon, like the banner and icon, but those will come over the next month.

This year I want to really push my artistic abilities. One way I want to do that is by doing more illustrations. I want to be able to draw more complex and active scenes, full of colour and life. Pin-ups are nice and fun, but aren't pushing my abilities as much as I would like them too.

So the other day I quit my job. Over there years my threshold for bullshit especially corporate bullshit has diminished considerably. The morning that I quit I was laughing and smiling on my walk home in the pouring rain, it's good feeling free. All I want is to give the the ones I love, my studies and my art the time and commitment they deserve and wasting my nights working overnight at a company that has been struggling ever since the store manager walked out due to depression and being overworked has been one of the most draining experiences of my life.

So you guys will be seeing a lot more of me in the days and months to come. I'm gonna continue to draw porn, but also start working on some non-sexual fantasy pieces. When completed those will be posted on my other account (which also hasn't gotten much love since creation)
