Cleanup
Posted a month agoI’m going to be going through my gallery and removing old pieces I don’t feel represent where I’m at right now and what I’m doing. I apologize if I remove anything you’ve favorited.

Posted 4 years agoI'm trying out a new site (refsheet.net), well, new to me at least. It's a convenient way to keep track of all my characters. So far I've made profiles for my two fursonas:

Star Wars Squadrons
Posted 5 years agoAnyone else playing Squadrons? I'm playing on the PS4 and a little obsessed.
I like playing bombers best and I'm currently experimenting with different loadouts. I'm trying to build one that's optimized for dogfighting and one that's optimized for attacking capital ships.
If you play, why ships do you like, and what do your loadouts look like?

Zootopia/Beastars Headcanon
Posted 5 years agoMy new headcanon is that Zootopia and Beastars take place in different cities in the same world.
Zootopia definitely has a black market selling semi-legal meat. We just didn’t see that or other less family-friendly aspects of life there because Disney was telling the story. And also maybe Chief Bogo was sheltering Judy Hopps from things like that by putting her on parking duty because he didn’t think she could handle it.
On the other hand, maybe the storytellers behind Beastars were sensationalizing for a more salacious story.
So in my headcanon, the “truth” is somewhere in between.

Remake Bad Movies
Posted 6 years agoA lot has been said about all of the movie and TV show remakes these, but I have what may be an odd take. Instead of remaking good movies (and usually ending up with worse ones), they should be remaking bad movies. Specifically, they should be remaking movies with interesting concepts but bad execution.
For example, remake Monkeybone. Yes, you read that right. Money-gotdang-bone. It was a terrible movie, but somewhere deep in that awful mess is a nugget of something much, much better, a surreal psychological horror movie about an artist trapped in his own subconscious while an avatar of his id takes over his life.

What I'm Up To
Posted 6 years agoA quick run-down of some of the projects I'm working on that folks might be interested in:
• Practicing digital painting.
• Vectorizing my existing adoptables and making some new ones, and in the process...
• Building a library of anthro vectors that I'll be able to use to whip up high quality character sheets in a snap, and to sell as bases.
• Developing a fantasy world that prominently features several species of anthros. This one's a long-time ongoing project.
• Writing a series of erotic furry short stories that may or may not every see the light of day.
• Editing a dictionary of a constructed language. It's a language of fairies, not anthros, but I might post it here when it's done anyway.

Upgrade (a movie)

Normally I skip ads on YouTube as soon as it lets me, but an ad for this movie caught my attention and I had to go look up a full trailer. Looks like a fun sci-fi twist on the classic revenge flick.

Time to Give Up on Robin Hood and King Arthur
Posted 7 years ago"Robin Hood: Men in Tights Was the Last Good Robin Hood Movie. Let the Character Go."

Sadly, I have to agree. As much as I love medieval fantasy and history, Robin Hood and King Arthur are overdone, and there hasn't been a truly good movie about either in a good long while. It's time to give them a rest.
The Ridley Scott Robin Hood was especially disappointing, despite being a decent movie, because the original script sounded so much more interesting before it got turned into a generic Russel Crowe vehicle.
There are other medieval stories to be told.
