July 2025 Update
Posted 2 months agoHello everyone,
I'm so sorry yet again for disappearing. Life has been...a lot lately. I don't really want to dwell on things too much and drag others through the mud with me, so I'm gonna go ahead and try to put my head down and get back into the swing of things as quickly as I can. But I do need to give at least a little bit of a life update so there's context.
For the last year or so I've been having a lot of issues with my computer, my website and some of my cybersecurity software. When I launched the Cruise illustration series I was super excited because I thought I had worked out all the kinks with my web designer and I was hoping things would be smooth sailing for a while, but I really couldn't have been more wrong. I currently still do not have access to my server anymore so I have no way to manage or update my website, but the PC issues are over for now and I have access to most of my accounts again.
I want to focus on art and getting back into the swing of things as quickly as possible though, so over the weekend I'll be contacting everyone who's in the Cruise illustration pool to get current with everyone and just say hi. Soon I'm going to try to make some telegram channels for the pics so folks can interact with each other and myself as I work on them, and I can send updates to everyone in a particular pic all at once.
Unfortunately I am still not completely out of the woods yet, and while I don't want to take on too much extra work that I won't be able to get to do right away, I do need to bring in a little bit of emergency money to get me on solid ground, but I'll talk about that with some art I'll upload this evening to show everyone I'm still fighting.
I just also quickly want to say, I know I'm not the only one dealing with issues these days. The world is in a dark place, and chaos and fear seem to be the rule rather than the exception. I am continually humbled by the amount of support I've been shown from the furry fandom. I am so happy to have a place here on FA where I can post my work even while there are so many platforms out there that are just drowning in AI slop. It's heartwarming to be able to foster a real connection with so many. So though I haven't been posting nearly enough lately to show my gratitude, still I have to say: thank you for being here. Thank you for engaging. Thank you for being, well... maybe not exactly human, but you get what I mean. Thank you for being real. I'm gonna keep working to make great art so I can show my appreciation back.

A few spots left still for the furry nude cruise!
Posted 9 months agoGo here for full details. I have 13 characters so far but was looking for about 20 so if you were interested, now's the time. It's only $190 to have your character drawn both nude and in undies.

On the BKSY!
Posted 10 months agoI really hate twitter or whatever it's called now and was just using it's API to spam my art from InkBunny without ever having to login. Unfortunately, this makes people think I'm active there and I miss PMs. So I'm closing Twitter/X in the next week or so.
So come find me at Bluesky! https://bsky.app/profile/tsaiwolf.bsky.social

Commissions Still Open + Question! Plz Respond
Posted 11 months agoFirst off, I still have slots available! They're $300 for one character and includes a background. Adding a character is another $250.
Fill this out if you want one: https://tsaiwolf.com/commission-me/request/
Should I also open quick cel-shaded pinups with an abstract background? I love doing the full paintings more, but it is more time-consuming. This would be about $180. I'm on the fence on pricing. It would be similar to this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51043924/

Dragoneer, You Will Be Missed
Posted a year agoTo say he was influential in the fandom would be a massive understatement. Back in 2005 when most people got their art from fchan, VCL, and DA, FurAffinity was born. It was a hacked together sad excuse for a website built off of phpBB, but it was our sad hacked together website.
Dragoneer always kept the fandom first and took care of furries. When other sites like Yerf started getting strict about not allowing yiff and DeviantArt cracked down on it, we really had no other place to go. Dragoneer put up his own private funds to start this site not for himself but for the community we all love.
He's had lots of controversies only because he was responsible for the most popular furry site for almost 20 years. He was constantly ridiculed for security, financial spending, and the seemingly horrible decision to sell the website to IMVU. I do not envy him and think me, and most, would have the same struggles, if not more. The fact is he kept the site up for so long even despite his health and honestly best interests. I've met the man in person at FA:United and he was nothing but gracious and courteous to me in making sure I had a dealer's table and registered.
Previously, around 2009, I was struggling to upload artwork to FA to the point I posted a journal shit talking and being exasperated. Dragoneer was the first person to reply and helpfully explained to me the issue and helped me fixed it. He could have just ignored me but he wanted to help. He always wanted to help other furs, especially us artists.
Despite countless Exoduses, people came back to Fur Affinity because it was THE furry site to be on. FA has always dwarfed every other social art site I'm on in followers, commissions, and comments. The thought that we might not have FA anymore is nearly heart stopping for me.
However, Dragoneer's death seemed sudden, but I bet he had plans in safe and FA will continue on under Frost Dragon Art LLC. LLCs are typically owned by several people and it is officially registered. I believe we will be okay. This LLC was formed under Ferrox Art LLC in 2008.
If anything does happen, I'm prominent on InkBunny too at https://inkbunny.net/tsaiwolf and I'll always have my links on https://tsaiwolf.com. I'm certainly not going anywhere.
I will not tolerate any negative talk on Dragoneer, especially anything in his personal life. It was never the time for that and it certainly isn't now.
As for my commissions, I'm still working through my queue, doing approximately four pinups a week (not including the variants). I saw my page used to say notes disabled and they weren't and I fixed that. Note me here or at commissions[at]tsaiwolf.com if you need a status update but please don't be surprised if it takes a few days for me to get back to you.
Thanks as always for your support, favs, watches, and well wishes.

Patreon Relaunch and additional store
Posted 2 years agoHi everyone!
I'm excited to announce that after a long hiatus, I am getting active again and bringing my art back into the light. It's been a long journey to get back to this point, but I think I've made a lot of artistic and personal progress, and I'm feeling energized and ready to start releasing art again.
Though all my illustrations will still be available on free art galleries, I am re-launching my Patreon creator page and will be focusing on that for now. High resolution illustrations will be posted to Patreon first, as well as work-in-progress images and recorded videos of me doing my creative process! Afterwards, the illustrations will be posted to my other galleries for everyone to enjoy.
To utilize posting long videos with no restriction on content, I'm syncing Patreon with tsaiwolf.com so you can log into tsaiwolf.com with your Patreon information to view the content on my site and stream the videos without downloading.
Check out my Patreon creator page patreon.com/tsaiwolf to see what's new!
And visit my new online store on tsaiwolf.com!
Thanks all, and have a wonderful day :3

Delays on the DARE Lion Daki (updated)
Posted 3 years agoUpdate! I just got word that two of the 9 boxes he has coming arrived and many are my daki so they will start shipping tomorrow.
Hey all,
Just a quick update as I'm sure lots of you are wondering why you don't have that daki yet you pre-ordered. I've been in talks with InkedFur, and they said the lot of dakis just cleared customs in the US and they should have it in a few days. They also showed me the tracking number so it has indeed cleared customs. At that point, it will start shipping out so if you preordered it by December 15th or so, expect it on your doorstep in the next two weeks or less (if you're in the US). They will send tracking numbers to your email once they ship it.
I spoke with them about the absurd delay and they showed me documentation showing these were ordered months ago just they were delayed at the Hong Kong shipping port because they were backed up due to COVID. How it works is goods that can expire go first and then larger orders ($100k+) go out and then finally the other orders. Once the Lunar new year passes, this issue should be gone as everything should be caught up by then. So if you still want one, feel free to order one and the wait should be two months or less.
I spoke with another dakimakura manufacturer at BLFC and they are having the same issues so please don't be too hard on InkedFur. It's affecting all US businesses that have to get products from across the pond. It just depends what they had in stock prior to COVID.
Stay safe and stay well and get vaxxed <3

Commissioned Art From Me Before?
Posted 4 years agoI just got a new art distribution system and also have some new tools I use to make my digital art look better. Also I started a few years ago exporting all my artwork between 6000 and 10,000 pixels to lossless TIFF files.
I started remastering some of my older art here: https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....ics-Remastered
If you got art from me on the past, as far back as 2009, I can send you the reworked files via a private link that I plan to always keep online. Some commissions, such as badges and icons, may not be able to be polished up. Pinups, Reference Sheets, etc. can likely all be polished up. If you got a TIFF file from me in the past three years, it’s likely the best the file can be. But if you lost the files, feel free to ask. Also if you want a simplified layers PSD, I can provide that on request so you can remove the character from the background, switch around variants, etc.
As I expect quite a number of responses, please use my contact form so I can track who’s been responded to. Just visit https://tsaiwolf.com/contact and select the category of Art Files Request. No account is needed to put in the form. If you changed FA usernames over the years, please give the username you commissioned me as. That's how my files are organized.
There may be a rare case where I can’t locate the files and for that I am sorry. I just want all my current and previous customers to have the best files I have.
I hope to hear from you!
Thanks!

Unplanned Covid Sabbatical
Posted 5 years ago...Or perhaps "artistic walkabout" would be a more accurate phrase. Hello all, and sorry that I've been so quiet for so long. I wanted to explain my absence to those who are still interested. I warn everyone, this might be rambly. You can look at the bottom of the journal if you want the short version.
At the beginning of this year, I was feeling very burnt out on commission work. I confess that I let things go too far before taking a break, and for a while I just couldn't find the creative energy to put into my art at all. I quietly decided that I would rely more on convention income this year. Heh - well we all know how that turned out in 2020.
Severe creative burnout, and then Coronavirus hits... I have to be thankful, through all this turmoil, at least my housing situation has never been in question. But the whole thing has forced me to be reliant on others for my financial stability, which is something that also historically adds a lot of stress for me. For a while, I was in a weird limbo where I couldn't seem to focus on anything much really.
At a certain point, I did come to realize something. It had been ages since I did any art for myself. Even my comic project, which was supposed to help with that problem, had become a stressful obligation that I had burned out on. It was just making me feel guilty, but I felt like I had no ability to continue on it at the time.
I threw myself into learning Blender, which I've showed a bit of a teaser on. That was very fun, but also apparently mentally exhausting. I'm so happy to know it now to a point where I can continue with 3D characters, but it also contributed to an already stressful situation. In a way, I think I've been forcing myself to spend so much time at my computer doing art over the years that it was finally catching up to me, mentally and physically.
After a while, I started drawing a bit again here and there, to develop my style, and focus for a bit on the areas that I've felt haven't gotten enough attention in the last few years. At some point, I may post some of these experiments; however, for the time being, they're a part of my artistic journey that I don't want to share.
At the same time, I still needed something for my hands to do, I guess. So I started working on my own fursuit, which I will be posting pics of soon. I have immensely enjoyed being able to work with my hands on something physical - something that really exists. I have been feeling increasingly disconnected from my work, so having something that I can touch and create is grounding me in an intoxicating way. At the same time, actually spending time developing my own art has led to some satisfying results.
After a long hiatus, I'm finally feeling ready to come back. I feel excited about art again like I haven't for - well, maybe years. I am not planning on offering huge, panoramic illustrations like before; however, I have a more "intimate" type of illustration that should be a bit quicker for me to complete, while still offering lots of room for emotions, expressions, and lighting. I am planning on offering reference sheets again, including character design services. I still have some more work to put in on the blender front, but VRChat character commissions will be available soon. I even have helpers available to make the fursuit timesink a little less awful. So, if you like the look of my Fursuit in progress, we can talk ;3
In regard to Deep Breaths, I do very much still want to work on it; however, at this point, I've decided that taking money on Patreon without giving back nearly enough makes me feel way too guilty. I hate it. It puts more stress on the project, which I think makes me avoid it more. I need to keep working on finding time to do pages when I can rather than trying to stick to a strict timeline that I obviously can't seem to follow. I appreciate so much the support that my patreon followers gave me, and I'm so sorry I didn't do more at the time. I can only redouble my efforts yet again now that my dark covid depression seems to be passing. I will think of a way to make it up to everyone, even if it's just putting out as much good art as I can again and updating the comic when I can.
But before any of that, I am announcing that I'll be taking Cyber Monday illustration commissions again this year. I'm not traveling anywhere for the holidays this year, and I have no cons to worry about. I have a few old commissions I need to finish up first (very verrry sorry about that v_v) but now that the log jam is breaking up, I'll be able to focus on getting projects done again. Link to the Cyber Monday commission info below!

Cyber Mondays Not This Year
Posted 6 years agoHi guys,
I know some people are expecting it again but my queue is too long to take 10-20 cyber monday pinups like I used to so I'm going to have to skip this year. With some roommate changes in my home, the California wild fires (involving required evacuation), and my visit with my family for the holidays (and forgetting my tablet), I just can't take more commissions with a good conscience.
These pics are a lot of fun and I'm sorry I can't do them. Maybe early next year I'll take some quick pin-ups for people who want to see their character in my style yet don't want to pay my usual $200+ price. I did add a cheaper tier in my commission list though to help some of that.
Maybe I'll do a YCH for New Years or something or do "Cyber Monday" in February haha. Actually it could work with Valentine's Day with the Blind Date thing I did! That was fun. (Like I did here)
Thanks for the support as always!

Posted 6 years agoCurrently I'm taking about 7 blind date commissions. Why 7? Because I'm going to throw in one of my characters.
Just like Secret Santa, I have made a sort of dating profile for anyone to fill out if they're interested. If it's filled out in full and you are selected, you will be sent an invoice for $135 to cover the cost of your character. If paid within 24 hours of me sending the invoice, your character will be paired to another according to your preferences. I will do my best to match interests and kinks. Gender/sex preference will be honored. Also if you say your character only receives anal, you won't be paired with someone else who only receives anal.
I will not be providing sketches so I can get through these quickly. I do best when I can work on an image from start to finish in one sitting. This will remove a lot of the delay. However, if I make a mistake with your character that I missed on your reference sheet or description, I will fix that.
Go here to apply! [redacted]
Note to the few waiting: I finished your pics and just need to post them. Photoshop is fighting with me right now but I will get them up on the sit eand emailed to you.

New accounts: Mastodon and Newgrounds
Posted 6 years agoWell to join the fad, I made a Newgrounds account. I like a lot about the site except the ads, but that's where adblock is useful. I did message them and asked if it's possible for me to be a premium member and for others to not see ads when browsing my page and they said they are looking into that. I would definitely do that for you all. Watch me there at https://tsaiwolf.newgrounds.com/ (I am not leaving FA just another spot to follow me at).
Also with Twitter constantly going back and forth on their rights on owning media and having a terrible CoC policy that they can't even be bothered to enforce (unless it's a celebrity), I made a Mastodon which is furry owned twitter-like thing!
The Mastodon server https://puppo.space is currently allowing new users and that's where I am! Just go to https://puppo.space/@tsaiwolf to follow me.

Talented Otter Artist Offering Free Arts!
Posted 8 years agoI usually don't sound the horns of other artists but this artist I think is extremely under appreciated and his art is beautiful. His name is MiloNettle and he told me he's used me as inspiration for his art, which is quite flattering. Some of my favorite pieces by him:

He's doing a raffle now to get free art! Just watch him and comment on his journal here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24631082/
I hope to have time to collab with him soon! He really deserves more watchers than he has.
I also recommend his commissions: http://www.furaffinity.net/commissions/milonettle/
He's also with InkedFur too! So look for his prints at InkedFur's table and website here https://inkedfur.com/creator/milonettle

Patreon Upgrades! Goodies at $2/mo
Posted 8 years agoHi everyone!
I am making some changes to my Patreon to make it more affordable and allow me to bring on colorists like Kado. (Although I tried adjusting my coloring style some and love how that came out too!)
Tsaiwolf Illustrations is still a WIP in how exactly I'm going to run my business. I really want to be able to get Deep Breaths out and already have a project after it planned too!
But my Patreon had a small drop off since I removed the prints option and I need to build it back up again so I figured offering different and cheaper rewards may help.
As you all know, I am usually commissioned to do multiple variants of images and posting all the variants on the websites (except InkBunny and Tumblr... they make it easy) is time consuming. So from now on, I will post my favorite variant publicly and the other variants will go on my Patreon. The commissioners can still post whatever they want, but this is just easier for me.
For only $2/month, you can get access to all the variants I do in 1500 pixel PNG files. I post everything on Patreon and don't send out Dropbox links or notes or whatever. So when you join, you instantly have access.
If I can get my Patreon up to $1000/month, I can devote more time to personal projects. Also if you plan on commissioning me, you get a 15% discount if you're a Patreon at the $20/month level. You usually end up saving more by doing this!
I heard a rumor that some people think I only take commissions on Patreon. This isn't true. I just announce my commission openings first on Patreon, I just haven't opened in awhile. I always announce commissions publicly too and I don't choose first come first serve. I tend to choose the ideas I like.
I'll be watching this journal and can answer any questions or concerns you may have! Your support, even if it's just favs and watches, is still appreciated!

Big Patreon updates! ($5/mo=exclusive art)
Posted 8 years agoSo there are some big changes some good some bad and I hope you all will understand.
As my future works, for the time being, will have Kado as a colorist, that also affects all the Patreon art. Due to this, he must also be compensated for work he does on the Patreon so a few things are changing.
1. No more free Patreon prints for the time being. Despite InkedFur giving me a great rate on prints, purchasing them and paying them to ship it out is costly and takes $200 or so per month out of my Patreon.
2. So now tiers are changing around but so are rewards. There is now a $25 tier that gets you 15% off commissions, and soon, a heavy discount off all items in my InkedFur store. (waiting on InkedFur to change their site so we can do this).
3. Stream commissions will be a thing! I will start doing streams for Patrons and potentially for the public where you can pay for a sketch in the $50 range or so. This will let you get artwork solely done by me at a discount. Later, if you want, you could pay Kado to splash some color on it.
4. No more variants of art will be posted publicly. While it's easy on InkBunny and Tumblr, posting multiple variants on other sites, including FA, is a chore. And honestly it floods my gallery. From now on I will be choosing my favorite variant and posting that publicly. The other variants will be given to my patrons and the commissioner (the commissioner can always post whatever variants they want).
5. 1500 pixel PNGs now given at the low $5 Patron level! Yes so $5 gets you all variants of every image at 1500 resolution PNGs.
All these changes are happening starting the first of August. Current Patrons for July will still get their print but if you join now the print options will not be there. I will be thinking of doing something in the future, but for now, shipping prints is a hassle and a heavy expense.
Thanks for the support everyone!

Introducing Kadohusky
Posted 8 years agoWithout further ado, I would like to introduce my colorist, KadoHusky!
I'm gonna let him tell you a little about himself, but I think the artwork above will also speak volumes. I'm so excited to be working with such a talented artist, and I really look forward to seeing what we can accomplish!
Hey there! I’m KadoHusky, Tsaiwolf’s new colorist. Here’s a bit about me:
I’ve been working as a erotic furry artist for a while - 9 years now in October. I’m pretty good at color theory, lighting, and rendering different surfaces and textures, have a good understanding of anatomy, and I am always learning more about art every day. And I have a collection of wonderful clients that I love and I will continue to work with them in my free time, if the need/want is there. ;)
Anyway, I met Tsai at a convention we were both selling at, Califur 2016. I had known of his work and how amazing it is for a while, so naturally was a little intimidated to start a conversation with him. But as anyone who has interacted with or met Tsai in person knows - he’s a pretty chill dude! We learned we lived in the same general area in California, so we started hanging out at each other’s places doing various, crafts and artsy things, and playing awesome silly games with him and his roomies.
As for my interpersonal relationship with him - I’m first and foremost his friend - I want to see him succeed. I want to help him do what he loves and be happy in any capacity that I can. If you’ve read his journal, you know he’s going through some rough stuff right now. So when he approached me with an offer to be his colorist and explained how much it would help him, I eagerly accepted.
So far the experience has been amazing. As a co-worker of his now I can confidently say we work well. We do meetings week-daily, we’re organized, and we’re gonna hit the ground running with this! Because of his experience both in the professional and furry art world, Tsaiwolf is the best art director I could ask for. I am learning so much from him!
In closing, I am hopeful that this teaming-up between Tsaiwolf and I will be extremely fruitful. I am willing and able to throw down the time and dedication needed for mostly everything he can throw at me. And for everything else there is good, ole fashioned communication. ;)
Best,
-Kado

Changing Times (Affects all commissioners)
Posted 8 years agoHello all!
Just as a warning, this journal is going to be a bit of ranting followed by an announcement. The rant is just general info about my situation so there is some good background information in there, but if you just want to skip to the announcement, you can scroll down to the asterisks below.
Within the last week, the sequence of events has gone like this:
1. My Dad's cancer, which they thought they'd successfully removed, has instead spread to "many different places" around his abdomen. We're waiting for biopsies.
2. My desktop bricked. Apparently for my motherboard, the ASUS x99 deluxe, this is basically what they do. Mine has actually been functioning longer than they do for most people who ever had one. I can either buy a refurbished one for a ridiculous amount or I can get a different motherboard, but I'd have to sacrifice my processor because almost nobody supports it.
3. My Grandpa had a stroke. It was minor and he's back home now, but it was still disruptive especially along with everything else.
4. My Wacom Mobile Studio and some strange setting within the (increasingly and embarrassingly terrible) Windows 10 recent updates list that don't like each other. I spent several days diagnosing and attempting to fix the problem before my tablet was in functioning order again.
In regard to numbers 2 and 4, I have to say I've been having a truly distressing amount of issues in relation to my computers and, most especially, Windows 10 and it's wanton forced dispensations of garbage updates. It seems like I literally can't go 1 day without a system message popping up telling me it's time for my morning prayers to the Update Gods. I can at least make it so I have control over the updates, which many people don't have access to depending on which version of the OS they bought. But when I ignore the messages, they start coming more and more often until I can't stand it anymore. I really don't need my OS wagging its finger at me like an old granny every fucking morning.
Windows has always had a bad track record with many of their update practices and certain versions of the OS have been generally despised, but usually you can at least use an earlier version until a better upgrade is ready (e.g. me using XP all the way up until decent reviews started coming out for Windows 7.) I have used Windows since the days of 3.1, when I could only boot to windows through DOS. In all my time working with computers and art, I have never seriously considered leaving Windows until now, and I have to be perfectly honest, with the way things are going lately, my Steam library is the only thing keeping me with them even now.
Overall, I've had a pretty troubling holiday. I'm sorry I'm behind again on BLFC commissions, I will be working hard trying to get them out by early next week. I'm also very sorry that there haven't been much in the way of updates on my Patreon page. Things kinda ground to a halt, so I've got to get some momentum back. I'm going to be doing a YCH to hopefully get back on my feet and get moving forward again, and afterwards I will also be opening for commissions. This brings me to the announcement.
* * *
I need help. It's as simple as that. I don't work well alone, I need other people to be involved and working around me to make me feel like I've got more of a purpose than just drawing at my computer. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE doing art. It's just extremely hard to do when I'm depressed and overworked fixing computers and talking with commissioners and doing my accounting, and every time it takes longer and gets more complicated and by the time I'm done, I've spent hours working but I haven't gotten any art done. I can't keep doing things this way.
I've spent a while in talks with some non-artist (but still furry fandom) folks and I've been testing with some other artists. I'm bringing on an agent (which will not be news to some of you,) and I've got some people now to help me with accounting, IT, and posting to my online accounts.
This is the big one: I'm also bringing on a colorist. I tried to do this some years ago and the other artist and I were not really a good fit. I decided I wouldn't try again until I had already found someone who was good to work with. I believe I have found that artist, and I will be making introductions soon. Outside of the furry fandom artists often work with an assistant (or several) or they work collaboratively with other artists. Even some of the best furry art has come from collaborative efforts. I think I will be happier, and the art will be better, if I try to create a similar situation for myself.
Obviously this is not an easy decision for me, and I know that a lot of people out there won't be happy that I'm generally not coloring my own art anymore. Let me just say, I will still be the art director and the drawings (anatomy, poses, and expressions) will still be up to my standards. And if anything I really believe that after we've worked together and gotten used to the workflow, the shading will be better than mine ever was. I've never been happy with my shading style; those of you who have watched me for a long time will probably have noticed that shading is the least consistent thing about my artwork. Simply put, I'd like to focus on making my drawings, the anatomy, poses, expressions, etc, better, and honestly I'd rather give my drawing to someone who I can trust to take it and make it better than I'd have time to myself.
I will still announce when I open for commissions and update art as Tsaiwolf, but the commission itself will be handled through a new joint account, to be announced.

F.A.Q.
(is it bad to call a section a FAQ section when nobody has probably asked me these things yet?)
Q: Will you ever color again?
A: Yes. I just don't want to have to color everything all the time anymore. I will probably frequently color my own sketches that would not be released as a finished piece of art and also do color designs for characters and scenes.
Q: Will your art get worse or look less finished?
A: No. I'm very particular about the style and I've found someone who looked at my art process, then turned around and on the first attempt did it better than I had.
Q: What about the Patreon you just started, what happens now?
A: I know that due to circumstances, some beyond my control and some not, I have not had as strong a start with Patreon than I had originally hoped. With extra hands to help I will continue to maintain the Patreon account, and will be able to spend some more time streaming. However I will be working with my colorist even on comics and similar projects in the future, so Patreon would no longer be supporting just me, but me and my team. I don't know how long it will be before you'll see collaborative work on the Patreon, but I'll keep everyone updated as much as possible.
Q: Will you still interact with us now that you've got an agent?
A: Yes! I've had to figure out some workarounds until I can get my desktop PC fixed, but currently I can still stream. Though some things (comics especially) would be only privately available for streaming to Patrons, I also want to do public streams. I'm sorry that I will probably be less available for chatting with people on Telegram, but I'm at the point where I'm getting a bit inundated with random greetings and people wanting to know when commissions are going to open (most of the time I don't know, it depends when I finish the ones I'm trying to work on now.) So if you get on the streams, I'll be able to respond to questions from the chat. Moreover, with help on the backend I think I will be able to stream quite a bit more often and at different times throughout the day and night. You might even be able to hear my beautiful voice!
Q: Does this mean your prices will be going up?
A: For the moment, no. Hopefully with 2 people working on it, we should be able to get more work done in the time allotted, so my current prices should stretch a bit farther. We may end up making minor price changes later on but nothing is currently planned.
Q: Will this lengthen the time it takes to get commissions done now that you will be doing collaborations for the time being?
A: The opposite! In theory we will be able to get twice as much art done as I can alone. Possibly more now that I can hopefully spend less time thinking about some of the other aspects of running a business.
Q: Do you have any examples of art you have done with them?
Yup! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24088502/

On a European vacation, commission progress slowed
Posted 8 years agoHi guys,
I'm so sorry but I'm in Europe with my mate so I won't be working on commissions eight hours a day as I usually do. I will try to get most of the sketches done so I can at least send those out for approval.
My plan is to get back in town at the end of the month and finish up my queue then open up again so stayed tune. Also I'd really like to take another dakimakura commission. Those are fun!
Remember I have my public queue for viewing here: https://trello.com/b/dU4SJKNJ/tsaiw.....f-public-queue
Note: If you're in the Requests queue you will be taken likely once I get back.
Thanks!
~ Tsai

Website, Queue, Patreon, and such!
Posted 8 years agoWe got lots of things to cover so I hope you’ll take the time to read through this. <3
2012 Deep Breaths Founders
I noted all of you that I have records of donating to the Deep Breaths projects inviting you to fill out a form requesting what rewards you want, including access to all Patreon content I post for the next year.
If you didn’t get this note, please email me at tsaiwolf[at]tsaiwolf.com with your FA name, amount donated, and transaction ID if you can find it. If you moved FA accounts since 2012, log into your old account or email me about it.
All of you that did fill out the form will be getting an invite link to log into the Patreon content.
Patreon
My Patreon has been a huge success and I’m impressed with the amount of support I’m getting for a project I started back in 2012. With the existing support, I’ll be able to start to work coloring Open Road and eventually getting to doing Deep Breaths.
Tsaiwolf.com
Yes, I finally have my own website at tsaiwolf.com! My friend Sangie helped me build it and I’m super impressed with the look of it. here you can view my works quickly, request a commission, and view my current queue through Trello. It’s still a work in progress so expect more as time goes on. Some of you may be aware you’ve gone here to pay invoices so now it’s a full-fledged site.
Cyber Monday 2016 Commissions
I still have the following to do! I’m nearly done though. If your name isn’t on this list you should get an email from me today or tomorrow with the completed versions. If you don’t, please email me at commissions@tsaiwolf.com.
Kibitzermaxim

"What is the status of my commission?"
Posted 8 years agoI am noticing this question a lot and honestly it's expected and even encouraged. People want to know where the product they purchased is. I just want everyone to have a full list of what I'm working on and what I have left to do so they know they are not forgotten.
I have been awful at keeping this updated but just did tonight so take a gander and see if you're in the list if you're waiting on a picture from me http://tsaiwolf.tumblr.com/commqueue/
If you paid for a commission and you're not there, please contact me immediatly at commissions@tsaiwolf.com. I hate FA notes because they're a pain to organize, don't thread well, and there's no search. Please use email for all business.
Why am I taking so long? Holidays, tablet broke, bought new one, it was also broken, spent time arguing with WACOM to get it replaced, had FurtherConfusion, got back home with new tablet, learning Clip Studio Pro, and getting my groove back.
So yes I am steadily working again and I hope to get all sketches done this month along with steadily doing 3-4 Cyber Monday quickies per week, hopefully more.
This is not the standard in my completion rate but I will NOT get back to where I used to be. I will not open for commissions again until this is under control.
Thank you all for your continued patience.

Tablet Troubles = Commissions Delay (good riddance 2016)
Posted 8 years agoHonestly I could go on for a bit but just wanted to post a quick note that I was supposed to have a new WACOM Mobile Studio Pro while I was on holiday with my family but Wacom charged me, took forever to send it, refunded me, bought it on Amazon, then wacom sent it to my home where I wasn’t, then I had to return the amazon one, then Wacom demanded payment and ARGH! Anyways you get the idea.
So I get home finally ready to play with my computer tablet thingy and enjoy working on it (It’s a dream, unlike their customer service) then BZZZZZ CPU fan came undone. So now I have to return it back and wait for another!
Needless to say, commissions are delayed due to Wacom’s incompetence and me being out of town away from my desktop.
Everyone’s pictures will get done as soon as I am able. I don’t plan on having to start refunding people, but if a wait of another month is unacceptable, I will happily refund your money that you’ve paid thusfar (if I haven’t sketched you yet).
Sorry everyone. This was supposed to be an easy holiday of arting and being on vacation but no… couldn’t be easy! 2016 couldn’t end without a struggle </3
