Hit me up, yeah?
Posted 7 years agoHey, just throwing this out there cause it's come up recently... I'm a super easy person to talk to! Just message me somewhere and I'll probably respond fairly quickly!
ACen furs?
Posted 14 years agoIt was better than previous years in some ways. What I'm really wondering though, is who the furs I met were!
I tried checking for FA names of each of them but that didn't work. So if any of you know suiters who went to ACen, get them in touch with me cause I don't know who they ARE ARGH!

MFF reflections!
Posted 16 years ago1. 65 hours of no sleep makes Yoshi something something.
2. 65 hours of no sleep makes everything feel way more interesting (Need to find a suiter to just rub me with their paws, hand or feet, after I've been awake that long. Such a nice feeling!)
3. 65 hours of no sleep does not stop me from winning a Street Fighter 4 tournament. (Go Gen!)
4. Anyone know someone who does double-sided badges and would be able to draw my character as Gen from SF4 in each of his two stances?
5. I really wish I had gotten to spend more time with a few certain people, seems like I just got to say hi and then we scurried off to our respective randomness.
6. Happiness is biscuits and gravy topped with eggs benedict topped with grape jelly. I have seen this, and it is good.
7. Chocolate chocolate chip bacon cookies?!
8. Rock Band is more fun with more people.
9. Happiness is just getting to sit and give foot massages to people I like.
10. I need to find some booze next year.

Anthrocon rides?
Posted 16 years agoJust wondering if anyone's headed through the Quad Cities area of Illinois (The part where Illinois juts out into Iowa.) I'm looking to share a ride to AC.
Midwest Furfest!
Posted 17 years agoI'm going to be there. Will yooooooou?

Posted 17 years agoSo, I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (I picked Darkness), and I'm wondering if anyone else has it? Friend code exchange yesplz? :3
ACen never again!
Posted 17 years agoWow... just... wow.
Friday: Left from here around noonish. Got into registration-at-con-line at about 3:30pm. Left line at 11pm. No that is not a typo. Almost missed my favorite part of the con, Anime Hell, but luckily they were running horribly late.
Saturday: Midnight madness was okay, for the most part. Hung around with some people near the lobby for a few hours afterwards, then ended up getting in on some serious Apples to Apples. Entered the Magic 128-seat Booster Draft at 10am, left it at 2pm after losing in the second round. Still got some neat cards, and free entry makes it that much sweeter. Hung out with my friend and went up to his room. Walked to McDonald's as is my ACen tradition, ate, came back, took shower, took an accidental nap in said friend's room during a movie (that I kinda wanted to see =( ) Went to Masquerade. Played more Apples to Apples and a little SF 3rd strike. Sunday stikes.
Sunday: More Apples to Apples until getting bored because a couple people at the table were basically ramming answers through rather than just lobbying for favorites, and most people had taken to picking the green cards to use instead of just flipping the next one on the pile. Went and hung out with the Spoony Bards until 9:30am. Went to dealer's room, bought some shit, hung out in Dealer's Room until maybe 1pm. Went out to car, fell asleep. Woke up near a White Castle somewhere, got out, ate, got back in car, went back to sleep. Got woke up near a gas station somewhere to contribute gas money. Went back to sleep. Woke up 10 minutes from home. Got home, went back to sleep.
The con was good, for the most part, but jesus... 7.5 hours in a registration line to pay 50 bucks and get a little paper badge (I didn't even get a little label printed out for it, they just hand-wrote my information on there.) I'm not going to the con year after year to throw my money at the steaming crater that ACen has become. No Consuite anymore, long lines (for EVERYTHING, not just reg), overbearing security... ACen outgrew it's venue a couple years ago, they just don't seem to realize it.
So I guess I'll just go to MFF and Anime Iowa instead.

Acen Again!
Posted 17 years agoIt's time for con announcement time again! I'm going to Anime Central next week, anyone else going?
MFF!
Posted 18 years agoMFF is comin up, just saying that I'll be there! Just wondering if anyone I know will be there?
ACen
Posted 18 years agoAnime Central time, woo! Sort of. Trying to get a ride, figure I'd pop something up here, too. Anyone coming from the south, heading north on I-57 would be a prime target to gimme a ride, since Rantoul is just off said interstate. Lemme know!
If not, meh. I'll be wandering the con with 25 pounds of backpack which shall be my home for the weekend, feel free to come say hi! I'm hard to miss, since I'll have a red collar with my name on it as well as a Yoshi plush with his head sticking out of the backpack. Hope to see some people there!

Is mah birfday!
Posted 18 years agoHappy birthday me, I'm 21, woo.
A very merry unbirthday to me...
Posted 18 years agoBut not for long! In a scant week, I'm going to be 21! Twenty-one! Old enough to get a full con badge at a con now, no more "old enough the see penis but not old enough to drink" con badges. I'll be old enough to drink (meh, don't care, don't plan on doing any drinking) and old enough to go inside of casinos (woohoo!) But in the end, I'm just gonna be older. ^^
OC getting into that festive mood!
Posted 19 years agoFor those who don't know, I've (basically) abandoned the PChat server in favor of Brokenwing's N-SoCS server, since it's so awesome. Same IP as the PChat server if you'd like to join in the fun, 12.206.117.221 on port 9001 (OC's default, I think it's 9001 at least :P). But yeah, on to the reason for this journal!
Christmas time is soon to be upon us, so why shouldn't the OC reflect this? Of course, I can't exactly hang streamers and put up a tree (Well, I guess I could attempt to draw those, but it'd be a real pain to re-do it every time I cleared the log). So, instead, I rely on you artists to do so, through your art! Simply draw festive porn! It could be something as simple as drawing whatever you normally would draw but adding a santa hat or presents in the background, to using characters that are christmas colors (Like red and green yoshies or chocobos) or even using common christmas characters like Rudolph and Frosty to make porn! Let's get the OC into the Christmas spirit and ruin childhoods the world over!
As a side note, I'd like to thank
aquacoon for that idea. I hope that works, I'm not really sure about the syntax.

Posted 19 years agoJust bumping my last journal off of my userpage. But since I'm doing that, may as well include some sort of news... gonna take most of the week off of work to go back home from thanksgiving and see my family and friends back home. ^^
Hey, let's toss some fuel on this fire!
Posted 19 years agoWow, this whole conversation about whether or not to ban cub art really makes me sick. I'm not going to go into a big rant about this, I'd just like to say a few short things. First: Where do people get off saying that just because they like something in their fantasies, they must be into the same thing in real life? Furries. Animals. Furries are animals. So by this wonderful logic, all of us must love beastiality! Oh noes!
And my second statement.
Y'know, I never thought I'd be saying something like this. I always saw it as a haven for those who are mentally deranged or too over-eager for their own good, but... If cub art is ban, I'm removing "my" art from FA. That is, the collabs from me and Sotelo and the PChat logs. I will not leave FA, per se, but I will cease to exist as an entity here. I have no wont to participate in a gallery where any fetish can be singled out and marked as OMG RONG GET IT OF MY INTERNTZ B4 I CUT MYSLEF. I realize that FA is not a democracy; however, if you're going to call yourself the place where freedom of expression reigns, then you may want to hold that up.
Note that this journal is not meant in any way to attack the wonderful admins of this site, a couple of whom I know personally. You guys do a great job. The problem here lies, as Dragoneer mentioned, in the fact that some people have misinterpreted some information, gone on to spread that misinformation, and gotten a whole bunch of people to show up at the gates wielding pitchforks and torches, demanding a sacrifice.
However, I'd like to say this: There is NO point where an issues has "gone beyond the control of the admins." You guys may want to be the "good guys" and hurt as few people as you can and not step on any toes, but here's the issue: It's still your archive. Just because public opinion (read; popularity vote) wants to make a change doesn't mean you have to. Same for the cub side. You could just stick to the TOS and start enforcing it. But the fact of the matter is you can't do anything without pissing some people off. Throwing this issue to the users-at-large isn't the way to fix it, though. All that does is start a big flame war and makes the issue worse. Before the poll I (and a large number of other users, I'm sure) was blissfully unaware of any problem. Had you guys made a ruling then and there, it would have stayed that way. Had you decided to remove cub art, then people would just look at it as "Oh, I guess they're going to enforce that part of the TOS now. Alright, whatever." or "Oh, I guess they're re-writing that part of the TOS. Alright, whatever." A few people on each side of the issue may have left, but the damage done would have been minimal.
Now, though, you've given the issue airtime and people have divided into camps. There are large discussions (read: arguments) in the forums and on people's journals, and cub artists are being flamed and dragged around the square as pedophiles. You guys need to sit down and come up with a ruling, one way or the other. I keep wanting to make an argument for cub art, but that's just going against all I said. This is YOUR decision, admins. Not ours. Whatever you say, I'll stand behind, but I can't say I'll be happy if it's to remove cub art... But again, I'm not the one making the decision. My happiness is not the issue here, it's what you guys want this archive to "say" to the world outside. Do you want to imply "We support pedophilia" or are you going to go for my centered tagline earlier in the post? Choose wisely.
I know I said I wasn't going to get ranty, but... I just started typing and it all came out. Gomen.
And my second statement.
Furaffinity.net: Where FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION reigns. (Unless you'd like to express something that we find morally questionable, distasteful, uncomfortable, or otherwise unacceptable to us.) Emo alert, don't read if you don't want to see me venting.
Posted 19 years ago<sigh>. Sometimes, I just feel totally worthless. Why do I even bother? I look at my life: I work at McDonalds. I owe over $2000 to various places. I'm basically living for the next several months simply to keep on living. It just seems like a waste! Why should I take up the world's resources just to keep my head above the water? For the next 5 or 6 months +, all the money I earn will go directly to other sources. I will have no money for anything nice for myself. No eating out, no buying games, or clothes, or things for *me*. What is the point of slaving away just to give everything I work for away?
I feel like I'm just taking up space. My roomates are constantly pissed off at me for this or that or the other thing that I did wrong or forgot to do. My PChat seems to be dying once again, and the only time it has activity is when I actively encourage it, and even then it sometimes seems like the artists are reluctant, so I feel like I'm forcing them to do something they don't really want to do.
My bike was stolen last week, and one of my roomates is talking about kicking me out. I would like to go out and try to make exstra money, but I don't know how... I have no marketable skills' I can't draw, write, or really do much of anything, I just... I don't know. I don't even know if this rant is helpming me, I need sleep or something. Peace.

PChat night
Posted 19 years agoSo, yeah, I'd like to try and make a sort of "PChat night" every week, as a time to make sure there'll be multiple people in the PChat at the same time. So I'm shooting for Saturdays at 7PM US central, which is I think noon GMT. So yeah, come on in and have fun! http://12.206.117.221:20886/
PChat, part two
Posted 19 years agoAlright, I run a PChat server. I'm looking to get some new artists in there. You've seen some of what's gone on in there with the last couple submissions. If you'd like to see the rest of the logs, send me a pm or an instant message. There are a few rules I'd like all who enter the PChat to obey, however.
1: Feel free to let the link out publicly! Yep! I just moved up to PChat 3.66. So I am able to ban freely! So, the address to the PChat is http://12.206.117.221:20886 Once again, please, artists only. The PChat is stable, but only to an extent. If you'd like to see the logs, feel free to let me know.
2: The majority of the art drawn on the PChat is male-oriented, and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm not going to kick people out for drawing a female or anything, it is simply discouraged.
3: Don't feel any need to listen to my ideas jst because I run the server. I'm a horny yoshi and will often throw out things I'd like to see, but they're simply ideas. Also, if the server's not up, just send me a message and I'll turn it on. I'd also like it for you to send a message when you enter the PChat when you enter, so I know that someone's in there and not to close the server, as well as so I can let anyone else know that you're there if you'd like someone to draw with.
4: Feel free to invite other people you think would enjoy drawing in the PChat! While I'd rather you didn't invite people for the express purpose of watching, if you keep it to a minimum I don't mind.
EDIT: 5: DO NOT ERASE. You erase on my PChat and there will be hell to pay. Only I will be erasing work. If it's something you're drawing and you ABSOLUTELY hate it, then go ahead, but I'd really rather you not. Even work that you consider sub-par or not as good often is still worth looking at in it's own way (I'm looking at you, Nishi, you're a BIG culprit of this! >.<) Also, if you erase someone ELSE's work, then don't expect to be welcome in my PChat any more. I erase after I log everything on the canvas. So yeah. No erasing, unless you absolutely can't stand you own work.
That's about it. So yeah, if you want to see the rest of the logs or come check the place out, feel free to message me!
EDIT: I changed the link. Please use this link when link when linking to the PChat, as the front page has all my rules.

If you'd like to see the rest of the logs, or get the address of the PChat, send me a pm or an instant message. There are a few rules I'd like all who enter the PChat to obey, however.
1: DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, post the link in a public place. The reason for this is twofold. First, I've had some problems with certain people in the past, so posting the link publicly would allow them to return to cause all new problems. Secondly, posting the link publicly would attract a few artists, yes, but I feel it would be more likely to simply draw more people who would only watch or simply just bug the artists.
2: The majority of the art drawn on the PChat is male-oriented, and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm not going to kick people out for drawing a female or anything, it is simply discouraged.
