Yup comming back to california for x mas! Will be arriving at the sfo early in the morning on friday the 23rd, then will stay till early morning on wednesday the 28th. Heading up to see family but id also love to see everyone I can see! If your busy tho its all good because next month is FC!

I frequently go MIA a lot, mainly due to being caught up in RL stuffs or recently finding distractions to keep my mind off stuff so I can meditate over it at night (the meditations have been helping a lot). I just want to say thanks again to all my friends that have been supporting me with even the smallest nudges of greetings, or just being understanding when I dont respond for a while =). Lots of changes have happened in a matter of months, its just been taking me some time to sort it all out, "find my center" if you will. I feel truly blessed with the direction I have taken, and the friends and family I have had the honor to of met and become a part of their lives. And do look forward to what the future holds, and how my life and those around me adapts and changes as time goes. Its going to be a savage ride!

Well got back home yesterday, luckily nothing at all bad happened on the trip back =). Only real thing was exhaustion from hanging out with all my friends and partying each night of the con. Which btw... MADE THIS CON AMAZING! Thank you so much to everyone that I hung out =) I honestly had such a blast seeing all of you and hanging out with yah! Its friends which truly make a con worthwhile, and im really blessed to have you guys as my friends <3. There was some PCD after the con, but it lessens every year I go =) I guess its cause im learning that I go to cons for the memories in the end, not just to experience it. Anywho I did have a blast and am actually down for going again next year =)

I wont be making it to MFF this year sadly, but I will definatly be at Further Confusion and I will shoot for FWA =D

Heya everyone! Im sorry for the long silence from my last journal as to what happened on my trip to AZ, everything went well in the end and luckily the greyhound bus after the first insident was a LOT better. So I am now in Pheonix, AZ and settled down over in the place ill be staying at for a little while. Things have been wonderful since I got here ^^ and now im down for meeting some of the locals which there is a small trip to the river nearby planned for this saturday, so im psyched for that!

But yush things are going well! Getting used the heat though has been good but its making my body feel a bit fatigued @_@, its definatly enjoyable though since I like the sun so once my body gets used to it I shouldnt be as tired haha. Thanks guys for keeping a look out for my journal and PLEASE feel free to poke me on messangers and even on notes =) if I dont answer back its honestly due to me doing something at the time and I will get back once im finished (or if its late possibly the next day haha) <3333

So I reach the tracy station an hour early before the bus leaves to make sure that everything is in order and I can get my tickets and baggage checked out. First thing that made me kind of weirded out was the station was actually just a gas station. That was alright after I got everything situated though and I was able to have ice cream with my sister and mom so I wasnt tripping. So the Greyhound bus finally comes over... 45 minutes late to the gas station, the bus driver takes another 20 minutes taking "A break" at the gas station I was just in and tells us to just pack our own stuff into the bus. So I was like w/e probably just a policy for packing your own luggage and I totally understand people need breaks. I got on and took a seat and waited for the driver to come back, he got back and he took 10 minute mumbling about the places we were going to and such and then began driving. So before we can even make it to the first stop (no joke like 30 minutes) this driver randomly stops at some corner to take ANOTHER break... To smoke his cigarette... So he gets back inside and begins going again and we make it to a few of the stops he said we would stop at and then finally we got to bakersfield.

By that point we were an hour and 20 minutes late, next stop being LA where my transfer bus was. So he takes his sweet time of course in Bakersfield and then finally announces we would be leaving to LA. We get on the bus and we drive to LA.... Very slowly because by the time we get to LA I am 2 hours and 10 minutes late for the transfer bus, it obviously left a while ago so I go over to the ticket counter to explain the situation. The dude then shrugs it off and tells me "Oh that happens all the time, its very common to be 2 to 3 hours late especially with traffic" I then proceed to give him a very weird look and tell him that its 4:20 in the morning and the bus driver had obviously no traffic on the way up here. So the ticket counter employee just shrugs it off again and tells me "Well there might of been other reasons he was delayed, if you wish to submit a complaint you can do it online" At that point I just want a ticket to the next stop for Pheonix, AZ so the ticket counter guy (Not an actual quote but just the literal version of the situation) tells me the next bus comes in 3 hours... hopefully..., please take a seat in the wire chairs that are painful to sit in for an extended period of time, and I am sorry to say we have wireless here but not for the public.

All in all simply put I wont be using Greyhound anymore, 15 and a half hour trips turning into 20-22 hour trips due to certain employee's just not giving a hoot is pretty damn unprofessional. Im just happy I made this revelation about greyhound on a relatively short trip... This other dude I was riding with now has to wait till 2pm tomorrow for his transfer train....

All the packing and shipping is done and now just have to prepare to get to the station. Train leaves today at 6:30pm in Tracy bound for Phoenix, Arizona. The friendships I made in California and the amazing people I have met over the years will still be close to me. And of course ill still see most of the people dear to me at cons or just visiting wise <3. It will be a kick ass journey... I feel it ^^

My life in the bay area has been a wonderful experience! So many kick ass memories I gained from growing up here, and so many friends that have made those memories possible. I really am grateful for all my friends ive made in the bay area, and will continue to cherish those friendships regardless of where I go. However there is a really great opportunity I want to take, with other friends that I cherish deeply as well and other experiences and future memories I can make. I will be leaving the bay area to move to Arizona at the end of this month, I am deeply sorry if this seems super sudden and makes you feel really bad ><;. I will be having a couple get togethers though before I leave (my birthday is also the 23rd of July), and if you want to hang out please let me know =). If you feel like you can venture to where I live I am also having a big going away party (keep posted for the exact date) and if you are intrested please feel free to message or note me.

Alright, lets get this done~

Alrighty so this Wind Dragon did indeed survive the post apocalyptic party of the year!....... But the reason being is because it was TERRIBLE. However it was the after party with all the friends both new and old I kicked it with that truely made it one hell of an experience! Now in terms of the nitty gritty yea imo Califur blew hard, even harder than when I went 2 years ago. Few highlights so I dont bore ya

1. Double Dippin... (I know the hotel is in it to make money, but damn 2 years ago they hosted a HIGH SCHOOL PROM at the same exact time our convention happened. This year it was some random ass tour/concert thing at the same time as our convo... Pro Tip- When you host a convention make sure to either have a hotel that wont book another event at the same time, or.. Make sure another event isnt booked on the same time. It just kind of kills the atmosphere and escape, I would of paid less to see the same concert at my backwater town of brentwood any random day. Just so happens I like to interact with only fellow furs for the most part when at a furry convention, I doubt im the only one that feels like that)

2. Parking... (Luckily I didnt pay for parking but a ton of my friends got screwed because the con was weaseling people into $16 parking due to the extra heavy flow of people from the tour/concert convention. Even if they had a room in the main hotel. That can get shady really quick)

3. Security... (Now because I now work in security I do know the protocol and why security was HELL of buffed up this con. Its all about traffic, order, and protecting the people. But its going back to the fact that had this been planned better THERE SHOULDNT OF BEEN ANOTHER CON HAPPENING TO MAKE SECURITY LIKE THAT. Litterally Califur needed to be segregated into the small half of the corner of the two halls after 7pm on saturday and you NEEDED your con badge to enter due to the other tour happening. The checking for registration is all good but come on... Paying for the registration and the room to be shoved into a smaller section of an already super small con? Yea I was all about it)

But yea those were the 3 main rants I had about Califur, I personally am not going to put much effort if any to go next year, even if I had the money. I mean yea the friends were what made the con for me, but at the same time Rocky Mountain fur con or Rainfurrest are happening around the similar cluster of months so id rather give half a damn about going to those before considering Califur again.

Now as for the good thing about Califur I did meet a ton of new awesome people and of course kicked it with the always amazing to be with old friends <333. So even tho most this journal turned out to be a rant I did enjoy Califur because of the friends ^^ Oh! And I did end up getting all my achivements so personal satisfaction was also obtained there too.

Now I know I havent been talking much lately and at FWA I did tell everyone for the most part that I wasnt going to be making it to AC this year. I know you probably already know if you look at the comments in my journals I will indeed be making it to Anthrocon this year!! And omfg it will be amazing! Not only that though next tuesday ill be flying down to Arizona to kick it with a bunch of friends =)! and dont worry I will be keeping mad updates on my twitter, FA, and ill even cave into foursquare... So if you arent already following me now is a really good time to do so. From Arizona ill be flying up to AC and I will be making a special appearance, again to all you detectives out there you can probably figure out what the special appearance will be, especially as it comes closer to con date with my updates. Ill also be updating with the usual SUPER EXCITED omfgstomponthegroundimmadragon journals and of course the trophies for AC, I might be also starting a mini thing similar to trophies for AZ but still playing with it in my head.

So there might be a possiblity I could actually attend Califur (because  sasho is an amazing dude and helping me out <33) but I would need a ride from the bay area on Friday/Saturday (anytime after 8am) then arrive back home anytime at your convinience before 7 am on Monday. By a random stroke of luck I dont have work this weekend and it just so happens im doing Graveyard from thursday till friday morning then im a free dragon. If ANYONE has room in their car or is planning on going those dates and are cool with me driving with you let me know ^^ I would be honored to attend and kick it with not only you but everyone else in SoCal. If not its all good and dont feel bad =) I wish you all an extremely fun time over there!

Hey all sorry ive been SUPER MIA yet again from FA... TONS of stuff have happened over the past few months after FWA, pretty much just life giving me a few blindsides, been looking better now finally so here I am lol. So first thing is I quit my job at Magnolia in order to pursue a job at Kaiser Perminente as a Medical Security Officer. I ended up snagging the job! Lots of work and training (training still on going) but im liking the job a lot better. As for why I quit tho its because I want to go more towards a medical job for internships, therefore this job would look a lot better since im at a hospital setting. Plus the commute is a LOT better... ill take 15 minutes over an hour and a half anyday.


Tho now for some bad news.... Litterally 3 days before my last day at Magnolia I got into an accident and totalled my car. I was on my way back from work and this dumb ass slammed on his brakes for NO REASON, so when trying to stop my big ass feet get stuck between the clutch and the brake and by the time I reposition myself my car hit the other one. Now his car was a white truck so nothing happened to his, however my car melted completely... When the police arrived they were actually shocked to see me still functioning and... Alive even lol, my car litterally looked like what you would see in high speed head on collisions. So as it would be in the state of CA, because I rear ended him its automatically my fault regardless of the situation so I had to go through my insurance for repairs on his side. Now for me tho im still sorting everything out because they dont know if they will pay Hyundai (since the car hasnt been fully paid for yet) or through me. Im hoping I could snag some of the money to purchase another car because this one is totalled to the point of where its too costly to repair. And atm im renting a car to get me through my job. Oh and if anyone knows someone who is selling a car locally for a good price please let me know.

A ton of other little things have also been raining on me but I dont want to make this a complete bitching journal so if you do want me to spill to you just ask me. Most of it ive told friends here and there but in general I like to keep it inside me cause id rather not bother people about every detail ><;. As for some good news tho Fanime was pretty rocking =) Finally got a chance to go there and minus a couple fucked up things I heard at the con it was pretty nice. I also found out about this AMAZING icebreaker game you could do with friends called "Ninja", im totally going to do it next time im kicking it with a bunch of friends ^^.

Unfortunatly tho I believe Fanime might be the last con I go to before Anthrocon, I dont think ill have the money to afford Califur (Unless the trip is litterally a free ride). Im already pretty deep financially with the car not to mention the transition for the new job and a couple other things I had to get (minor thing but I am getting an allergy shot through Kaiser but its expensive since insurance doesnt really cover it all. Good news is tho I wont be getting hella stuffy noses anymore!) But I do hope everyone at Califur has a killer time!

Tho on the note to Anthrocon I will also be making another trip before the convention, ill be heading down to Arizona to kick it with friends for a week and then flying up with them to Anthrocon =). So if anyone is watching me who is from AZ just let me know! And if your around the area ill be staying at ill try to see if we can kick it ^^ or if your going to AC ill see ya there! haha

I recently got back into Final Fantasy XI (yes the online game that used to suck) i got into it after hearing the changed EVERYTHING about it to make it actually fun and not just a grind fest, after playing for a few days i have to say the rumors are indeed true, some things i would love to change further but FFXI is starting to show itself kind of like a long lost love, the same way PSO was when i played it at a friends house

So my question then is if you are bored and have $10 bucks lying around i would totally love to play with you guys on FF =D. My friends  orikalin and Ries are playing it with me today. Just note, comment, or shout in case you wanna hit this awesome shyte =O we are on the bismark server in case you wanna play with us.

I am torn between two conventions this year I would like to go to... Furry Weekend Atlanta or Anthro Con....


I cant afford both of them but have gone to Anthro con for a few years now. Its an alright con, and I get to see all my east coast friends I havent seen in days. However the same goes with Furry Weekend Atlanta, but the difference is I have never gone there and hear its a load of fun as well.

Another thing that makes me kind of lean towards FWA vs AC is that AC for some reason feels like its less and less fun every year I go, probably because im so used to how kick ass and how amazing FC is. Now I know I know... Cali boy likes his con cause he is from Cali blah blah blah, but tbh I have a lot of energy during cons and LOVE to party it up with my friends during the night time hours.... But AC has been more and more of a buzz kill over the years when it comes to that.

So I am asked all my friends to be 100% honest in what you feel which con I should hit up, obviously your opinion could be biased because you want me to be there at the con that you are going too, which is all good =) I just want to get reassured that the con I do choose this year will be a lot of fun, and its the friends that make it fun in the end. Any and ALL input is very much appreciated ^^ thanks guys <33
