AC 2013 Report

Pros:
It was awesome getting to fur suit for the first time in the now 10 years I've been going to AC. I had so much fun walking through the parade with my DE buddies (YAY PUDU AND TIGER BROTHER) I cant wait to suit again next year, I am going to be putting together a new costume to be even more awesome!
My new Furoticon card was released in the new set, which btw, was a huge success! Congrats to the entire Furoticon staff for such a great release! Speaking of which, it was amazing getting to talk to Charles Urbach for nearly 2 hours in the dealers room. If you don't know who he is, Urbach is an amazing artist who has worked a lot for MTG and many other TCGs! Hearing his praise on Furoticon was awesome and re-invigorating!
Cons:
My room mates pissed me and Chex off IMMENSELY the first night, to which we spent the rest of the week end trying to avoid them and keeping interactions to a minimum. So glad next year I'm going to have good room mates x_____X

Posted 12 years agoSo I won a Deluxe Wii U at the DE Furry NY Ball and I finally set it up and I have to say, its fairly cute! I don't really follow games anymore, and I wasn't planning to buy the system, but how could I say no to free!
I love the tablet thingy it comes with, mainly because it can be programmed as a Universal remote, and now can control both my TV and Cable box. I needed 2 remotes before, now just one that also controls the system, how efficient is that!?
I only have the Nintendo Land game it comes with, but that's keeping me well occupied for now.
It has some friend code thing, my Nintendo network name thing is Tsuminotora, so feel free to add me if you have what ever can add things like that!

A week off with nothing to do
Posted 13 years agoOk, so I have a week+ of vacation time to use up before the end of the year...
Problem is, I dont have anything to do!!!!! I need people to do stuff with, places to go, people to visit. I cant think of anything, open to suggestions/invitations to come visit for a few days. I'm willing to travel semi-far if anyone one is willing to put up with me for a while lol. Contact me if your interested or just leave replies here if you have suggestions for things to do/see

Greater Philadelphia Local Furoticon Tournament!
Posted 14 years agoHello all you friendly furs! In the near future, I will be hosting a Furoticon Sealed Deck Tournament for the local players in the Greater Philly area. This tournament will be Sanctioned by Furoticon, meaning there will be League points and Furos Awarded! If you're a Furoticon Veteran, this is a great opportunity to play outside of a con! For those of you new and/or interested, This is a great chance to come and learn and experience the game! Given the quaint nature of this tournament, there will be plenty of time to learn to play before the rough stuff begins!
Cost: $20
That will get you 5(!) boosters (at the price of 4) plus a chance to win more.
Format: Sealed
From the 5 booster you will make your best 20 card deck (unlimited home havens).
Round Style: 3 rounds of Swiss
For those of you experienced with furoticon its the same as tournaments at cons, for those of you that are new, You will play all 3 round, win or lose. (More detailed rules will come at the tournament time)
Date: Saturday, February 4th, 2012, Starting about 6pm
Location: Mt, Laurel, NJ
I have booked the meeting room at the hotel I work at, plenty of space and privacy. Super 8 at 560 Fellowship RD, Mt laurel, NJ 08054
RSVP: Do to the nature of having to order the boosters. I need RSVP (including payment) prior to the actual date of the tournament, with the cut off of 5 business days.
Minor Details:
This is an 18+ event, sorry kiddies, kitten, pups and puggles.

Posted 14 years agoOkay, listen people, you cant have your cake and eat it too. Its either we have a free market or a fully regulated one, that is, either we are capitalists or socialists, we cant be social capitalists or capital socialists. WE THE PEOPLE have no right in telling a business how to do its job, WE THE PEOPLE are not allowed to regulate non-government run banks. Its far too late to change the way our money is backed, since this is how the WHOLE WORLD regulates their money. Those of you trying to Occupy Wall Street need to take an American civics class before you continue your protests.
PS. The cost in overtime to have the police to secure the Occupy movements has DOUBLED the yearly Budget of a lot of cities, good going, expect taxes to go up.
