Posted 10 years agoDoug Winger is dead? Whoa. He was like, one of the oldest furry artists around, and one of the very first that I ever ran into. Seriously, I think that's the third confirmed death i've seen in the furry community. That seriously gives me a lot to think about. I mean, I've still got a long way to go and I never know when i'm going to kick it. Will I be able to make any kind of mark at all? Am i even making one now? I don't even know anymore. I need to practice more, or at least get to a point where I feel alright putting up stuff. I guess i'll keep at it, but this gives me a full head to sleep on.

Anyway, i'll be back once I buy a completely new computer since the last one essentially quit its life to the entities above leaving me completely personal computerless. I'll have one next week and hope to keep up my career as a digi artist. until then may i'll post some stories or something.

My answer to you procrastination
Posted 13 years agoYou know what, i'm tireed of spending my time unable to control my impulses to do anything else but my homework, so from now on when I feel the urge to draw, i'm going to draw my homework, and then i'm going to dray myself doing it. That is my answer homework.

Posted 13 years agoSo, yeah I got my surgery, it worked out, I can see better, i'm going to slice open my eye again in october. Good news all around.
I'm feeling that groove starting to set in. I'm putting out better and cleaner work that I have to say I can actually be proud of. And strangely enough a friend of mine suggested that I start taking requests.
soooo~ Anyone got any requests? Give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.

Not too much see when you're blind
Posted 13 years agoHey everyone, me again. Just came to give you an update and an apology.
Well first, the apology. Sorry for not being around for a while, but where I live i don't have much in terms of internet, and only now have I gotten my hands on it. I'll be doing alot of drawing from now so expect a good deal of pictures, and by that I mean don't expect anything.
Now for the update. So it turns out everyone that I seem to be in the second stages of my karatanconus. What is karatoconus? The degeneration of the structure of the cornea. The cornea is the clear tissue covering the front of the eye. The shape of the cornea slowly changes from the normal round shape to a cone shape. And it seems i have less then ten years of semi functional sight until I become legally blind, and in worse case scenario, completely blind. Already my sight is the the point where I need specially trained doctors inorder to give me my prescription, and they say that the ten year estimate is the best case scenario, it is completely likely that I will be blind in less then half a decade.
But the good news, there might be a procedure that can save my eyesight that i'm currently trying to be a part of. it's still in the research stages but luckily I was able to put in my request to become a test subject. so hooray I'm now a guinea pig. They say that if all goes well i'll be able to see fine and my illness won't progess anymore. There is also the chance that the procedure will worsen my vision to a point of no return but no point in fretting over that. Well that's as much as I had to say about my life for now, i'll be sure to keep you all posted!

once more to enter the door, to reveal their presence in all their essence
with the affinity for furry galore. to this tomb of art i add my lore
within my journal shall my mind twist eternal, and squeeze out for the evermore.
so take heed as you read, or losing sight will be your plight.

Posted 14 years agoYeah, so I'm going to use this place as a general area simply to get some steam out and clear the smoke. Not like anyone really comes here anyway so talking to myself works too.
