Ahkay, the question cropped up, and the simple truth of the matter is, Life gets in the way of me doing the comic ala pro bono.. shit like patreon isn't fluid enough for how crap can fly here, soo, long story short i'll be treating the Foxfire Chronicles as a commission/sponsor based thing..

Now i'm gonna charge what sounds like a hefty $200 USD per page, but honestly? Time i spend doing that, is time i'm not doing commissions which i actually do feed into my bills, buy food, etc..

so yeah, that's gonna be a thing.. some folks might baulk at the cost, and that's okay, i'm cool with that, it's a lot easier to do this kind of thing when i'm not fussed about the lights or the internet working (both of which makes it really hard to work on the damn things without 'em, too!).

I get home aaaand boom my hands n' feet cramp up and i had to head back to hospital.

Okay, been contemplating things and i need to have a go at getting myself sorted. So here's what i'm thinking.. i'm gonna offer four inking slots soonish, the "fifth" thing i'll ink will be the comic itself, i'll spend the following week working on that, the week after just general scripting (i can take it easy and rest a little too) and then start working on the next month.

So when i was plotting all this out around friday last week i thought i'd just have to knuckle down and get to work... oh ho, was i ever mistaken..

that following saturday morn in the wee hours my mother had to be carted off to hospital to have a golf-ball sized gallstone taken out as well as the offending organ.. with infection to boot..

so cleaning and visiting briefly became a thing.. eats time a bit, a bit of madness monday which just sapped any will for me to work.. i'll chalk that up as a loss.. She's home right now and things have quietened down...
