Here all. So I am in need of someone's artistic expertise. My squadron wants to redo the flight mascots and I have a rough draft drawn up. I was wondering if anybody here might want to draw the final product pro-bono if they realized that an entire flight of personnel would use it as their mascot for years to come and even have it painted on one of the walls here. Well as I'm sure most of you already know, the reservation page on Eurofurence's webpage opened up last night and I have already made my reservation both with the convention and the hotel. I can't wait to go again this year. It was completely magical last year with all the wonderful art, music and making new friends! Who else is going this year? So Kickstarter was a bust but gofundme seems to like me a lot more! It took me about twenty minutes to make an account with them and set up the page. So if you happened to miss the last wine stream that Uncle Kage has done, I asked him how much I would have to donate to get him to fly here to Germany and do a wine stream with the local furries. So I know this is a bit late, but I guess better late then never! As many of you know, I went to Eurofurence 21 in Berlin and it was my first Furry Convention. It really is hard to sum it all up in a few words though. I really did have the time of my life! I made several new friends from all over the world (who are welcome to come visit me whenever they want!), went to a couple great concerts, hugged lots, and I mean lots of fursuiters, popped my fureoke cherry (although I was very intoxicated from celebrating the fact that I found I was am going to be promoted at work), I bought lots of stuff from the dealers den, and I did lots of other stuff! I want to make a shout out to a few of the fellow furries that I have become great friends with during this con:

So I'm in Berlin, about two kilometers away from the con and I'm so excited for when it starts. We still have about five and a half hours until it starts but my buddies and I are planning on walking in that direction here soon. We'll get some food along the way and enjoy the sites. There's only about eight days left until E.F. in Berlin and I can't wait. I already bought the ticket and reserved the hotel room with the others and I have already taken the necessary days off for work. Who else is going this year?

I want to commission someone to do a reference sheet of me. Who wants to do it? I figured I'd ask my friends here on FA first.

So as the subject suggests, my birthday is right around the corner (the 13th) and I think I'll treate myself to a reference sheet since I've been needing one for awhile now. Nothing too expensive though but nice. Does anybody have any suggestions on who I should go through?

So I'm sure most of you already know that I'm heading to Germany soon. The question is, how do I find some German Furries when I get there? I've already seen the Group called Germanfurs but that's for German speaking furs only. Does anybody have any ideas? I'd like to meet some of them and if they have a weekly meet or not.

So as some of you may already know, I'm going to Germany in a few months and will be stationed in Ramstein. I have two questions, first, is anybody nearby? I'd like to get to know a few while I'm stationed there. Second, I will be bringing my Jeep Wrangler with me and I want to know how strict they are about their inspections. It's in pretty good shape so I'm not too worried about it but I am worried about the exhaust since it is aftermarket (bought it like that) and the tires. They are winter tires so that won't be an issue and they only stick out the wheel well maybe 1/2 an inch so not too bad. Also, is there anything else about my Jeep that I should be careful about before shipping it over. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to moving over there (for a min. of 3 years) and I will be missing a lot of you all that I know stateside while I'm gone but also looking forward to meeting new furs.

Well tonight began as a good night. I went with Blue to the weekly fur meet and then went home to do some chores. When I was outside to clean out the Jeep, I guess I was standing on a fireant nest cause I started to feel the little F***ERS biting me so I brushed them off of me as quickly as possible. I soaked my legs in freezing water to try and prevent the poison to make me swell but it didn't help. I quickly drove to the nearest open gas station and they didn't have any Benadryl but I did find an allergy relief medication with antihistamines in it so I'm now taking those. They don't seem to be helping much either since my entire body has a giant rash all over it and I'm itchy like crazy. Damn this night sucks...

Well, I'll be going to Germany early next year for a copy of years. So, I broke up with my girlfriend since I know she wasn't going to move over there with me. I have so much on my mind right now and I'm so stressed out. All I want to do is get drunk and forget certain things about my life. I wish someone could just randomly come up to me and hug me...

Well I'm off the the fur meet. I just found out about it believe it or not. Evidently they have one every Saturday nearby!

I have been up for the past couple of hours and still can't sleep. Knowing that I'll get to leave for back home again in 29 more hours from this six month deployment seems to be keeping me awake. I've been staring at the A/C unit above my window for the past hour trying to figure out what to do. Images of my friends and family keep popping into my head and the thought of my g/f is there too. This has to be the longest two days in my life honestly. I'm so close to coming home but it feels so far away at the same time. The annoying part is that once I get to the states, I still won't be able to see any of my family or g/f until a couple of days later since I'll need to in-process the base again and take care of some medical stuff. I wish I had some family or something waiting for me at the airport when I arrive but I know that won't happen. I don't really know why I'm even writing a journal about this moment either. I guess I'm doing it to pass the time. Either way, if you took the time to read this, than thank you and I'm sorry to have wasted your time. XD

I've been in the middle east now for over 188 days now and I've only got two more days until I get to head back to the United States again. It'll be nice to see the family and the girlfriend as well. What's going to really irk me though is that I'll have to wait an extra couple of days to see them all for in-processing back into the base and some medical stuff. Then I have to figure out a way to head over to them. I guess I could catch a flight since none of them are coming down to me to greet me back from my deployment. It's kind of depressing really but what the hell, I'll be back and surrounded by trees and other green things. It sucks seeing nothing but desert everyday out here.

Well only 15 more days until I get to go back to the states and leave this hell hole... I still need to go schedule the biopsy for when I get back though which sucks. Seeing as it's in a sensitive area, it's going to be extremely painful as well. Then I need to find a way to get to Richmond, VA to get my car from my family. So when I'm back in Charleston, SC and I need something to do, I'm looking to all of you. Maybe grab a drink or something?
