Posted 8 years agoI guess long and short is: My flames burned out ages ago. Back when I was 13, with a church out in West L.A., I recall the pre-teen leader saying I had “A flame that lit everyone else up”. At that time I was very outgoing, very charismatic, very much a people person even if my peers at times resented me for connecting with adults a lot and wasn’t quite one to welcome their heckling.
…That was back in 2000. Back when my mother was still in a good spot pushing out her script to become a film, where while wer were living off of food stamps and Section 8 for rent, we could still go out and -do- things without a lot of stress. Back when I could scooter around from my home all the way to Santa Monica because I didn’t have 50 cents to ride the bus and be fine.
…Two years after that, the cchurch fell apart, my mother got into a deal that ccosted us everything and then some, we were fored to move towards Chicago as my Grandmother was the only person willing to support us in that time of need.
Living in Chicago was, and always has been terrible since. I got mugged a few times just half a block away from home just because I was an ‘easy target’ for everyone else. I couldn’t get back into the systems I had in Californa, meaning I couldn’t take Riddlin for my ADHD anymore, nor could I get check ups and the like given no medicade. I couldn’t dare leave the front door unless I knew I had busfair to get around.
If not for the internet becoming what it was around that time, I chances are would have been destroyed right there and then :’D But, I held on, I dug into the ryona groups to pervert all this stress in ways to become an outlet and to bare with the day-in-and-out struggles my mother and I was having with trying to adapt. She coudln’t score a job, so she eventuraly went back to script writing once Section 8 cleared us for the state move and we could get our own place.
I tried to go to college, to escape Chicago and to make something of my own. Sadly 2007 happened doing that time, and my co-signer at the time died in turn.
So…I was forced to drop out, with the school unwilling to give me my credits till I payed up what I owed, with Sallie Mae now over my back in turn. Even if I got a job, I wouldn’t have any money of my own. I still tried though, but dropping out of college with nothing to show is a worse action then dropping out of highschool. No one wanted to hire me, and online jobs that where just mindless clicking and posting tasks for a few cents per thing done where not listable job experances.
I’m been struggling since then just to live. To make -something- for myself, but 10 years ongoing and I’m still no better off then I already was. I still have to pretty much beg for cash, if I get anything, it’s ether a hand-me-down or a gift from someone else, never from my own pocket. On top of all of that, the help I should be getting, I can’t. Seeing someone for my mental issues is too expensive. Getting a check up is too expensive. I’ve got shattered teeth that no matter what I do are rotting away. I’ve got a libido that doesn’t have a 'down’ moment. My feet as well have started to develop some really odd sensations and numbness as well. Though I can’t do anything about it unless I was on the verge of death, and only then would a hospital be willing to toss me under debit harder then I was before.
…it is a wonder how I still stand. How I can still have anything akin towards a 'flame’ after all of this. My mother can’t get her veteran benefits because of how she got discharged to hide the fact that one of her higher up’s felt like 'using’ her and even with the changes to the ruling, she still hasn’t been able to budge on that. My brother is mentaly disabled to the point where someone will always have to watch and take care of him, and he’ll be 27 physically, but 13 mentally.
This is my life, this will chances are ccontinue to be my life, and with how the world’s going, it’ll only be worse. Food stamps are being cut back more and more, my brother’s disability check is our only real income to speak of and that’s starting to be cut back, Section 8′s cutting back…You can only cut at a thread for so long till there’s nothing left.

Sudden evection notice
Posted 10 years agoI haven't wanted to post much of anything on FA for a while, butt my hands been forced. Our landlord just felt like forcing an eviction onto us, and the law apparently isn't on our side on this matter ether.
I need to go into a bit of detail but a few days ago we found someone in the laundry room. We of course called the police as no one's suppost to be in there. Our landlords apparently got a police tracker though, called the police off, and then called us telling us not to do such. So this is already a red flag both ways, we feel something's fishy, and he doesn't like us. Today we get a notice from peoples gas saying they are turning off gas for the entire building. We call about that, because having gas turn off doing winter, after it's been snowing at that, is PRETTY BIG. He get's pissy about that, and then declares we're being 'too much of a problem' and pretty much says "Get moving papers, I want you out'. We call housing on the matter to fight it off, and their answer was pretty much "Well, if he wants to kick you out...he's allowed to kick you out...". We call the cops, because he doesn't have anything directly on us to force this ( we haven't damaged anything, we've passed our inspections, we've paid our rent and unity bills on time without fail )...But because we are on a 'month by month' lease, he apparently can just declare us "Not allowed to live here" ( because the lease isn't singed every month on our end in turn, so on any single given month, we're apparently not on the lease beyond the first time we singed ) and there's nothing they can do about it.
...We are pretty much in a spot where, someone doing wrong, directly, and got his hand caught in the cookie jar, will get no reprimand...while we, who have been doing our best to do and stay level, now are being punished because we poked our head into a situation, and then asked about why the hell is there a notice saying the gas is being shut off. So...after moving, getting set up, getting a new PC, actually enjoying the location we are in and the like...we're forced to move, if we like it or not. I am crushed, destroyed...and honestly...I don't even know anymore if I'm even worth the effort to save this time. My projects have been dead in the water for a while, my job hunting's been null, and I don't really have anything to show for it all...
...but I wanted to get this out here, in case I end up vanishing for good, and no one's able to get in touch. At least this is here.

It's something of a homophone, a corruption of 'Slime Desire'. I do think it's pretty obvious why I would have such a name~

Taken by my oh so lovable Latex Swines. Taking care of them is a lifetime duty~! But oh, you mean more something like dating don't you? Single would be the correct term I guess~
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Well I am made out of liquid latex after all! Any latex mass I touch, I can corrupt and control as if it was my own, and of course my own goo is able to do all sorts of fun 'tricks' in turn. How all did you think I've gotten so many piggy's in such a short time?

Backlog reminder
Posted 11 years agoJust another FYI, but almost everything uploaded as of now has been stuff I had for almost a year now, but never uploaded for different reasons. Some of it I wanted storys for, others where on pause till other things got done first. Some stuff was simply forgotten about uploading in the massive pile of other stuff!
But I've been taking this month to kinda fix that all together, so don't go thinking any of this is new goods gotten in a single day, I've been TRYING to space out my uploads to not flood inboxes, more less to try to ensure all of the images got enough limelight. Today was chances are my most heavy upload of days as it's nearing the end of the 'backlog' and getting closer towards the start of the 'newer' stuff. Anyone who follows some of the stuff I get chances are know exactly what I'm talking about.
For now thought, just bare with it and enjoy~! =D

PC Woes, and a question
Posted 11 years agoWell, it was about due time for this hunker to start breaking down on me. From having to overclock it's Feeble CPU and GPU to keep up with most games and media nowadays, towards the sudden flash humid days making everything wet this year, I guess my PC's starting to at last kick the bucket. It's started running a bit more sluggish in this week, till today when it suddenly felt like rapid blue screen on me. I...seem to have it now a little more under control, but I can't say these turn of events make me happy by the slightest. It's about that time I start investing in a new PC looks like, but here in lies the first, yet only, problem:
Money.
I've gone from a job fair with
kirisha, hunting jobs around my locations since the move, knocking on every door for the odd job for just a few more bucks and the like...and I gotta admit it's not working. None of this is working. I did get shot one idea thought, and I wanted to hear from you guys if it's something worth doing, but if I do, it would have to be 'soon' and hopefully done in a way that doesn't kill my PC outright:
Streaming Games.
Not just any games mind you, but shmups. I seem to be above average skilled at them, enough to be able to 1 credit clear a few of them here and there, and they are a style of gameplay that I think can be exciting for the viewer, while still an obvious display of skill on the players end. The problem becomes on the fact of asking for donations and the like while streaming such. Said friend had suggested I try using twitch with it's subscription modle with adverts and the like, and that kinda rubbed me all sort of wrong ways, but I'm asking you guys if such an idea would even be valid towards you? Could you see yourself willing to support me if I worked in such a way?
I did have one other idea, streaming me working on my game projects, but I fear these would be so painfully slow, dull, and hard to keep going on ether persons end that it might not even be worth the effort. But then again, I've never acually asked you guys if watching someone click on a lot of things and typing text into boxes and lines would come off as 'fun' ether! So I'm doing that as well I guess!
So, bottom line: I'm trying to figure out a way to present my skills in a way to get some money in turn to nab a better PC. 2 ideas, streaming shmups, and streaming my working habits, exsit as of now that 'might' work. Out of these two, what would you suggest I do? Or do you have perhaps another idea I could work on?

I seem to be above average skilled at them, enough to be able to 1 credit clear a few of them here and there, and they are a style of gameplay that I think can be exciting for the viewer, while still an obvious display of skill on the players end. The problem becomes on the fact of asking for donations and the like while streaming such. Said friend had suggested I try using twitch with it's subscription modle with adverts and the like, and that kinda rubbed me all sort of wrong ways, but I'm asking you guys if such an idea would even be valid towards you? Could you see yourself willing to support me if I worked in such a way?
I did have one other idea, streaming me working on my game projects, but I fear these would be so painfully slow, dull, and hard to keep going on ether persons end that it might not even be worth the effort. But then again, I've never acually asked you guys if watching someone click on a lot of things and typing text into boxes and lines would come off as 'fun' ether! So I'm doing that as well I guess!
So, bottom line: I'm trying to figure out a way to present my skills in a way to get some money in turn to nab a better PC. 2 ideas, streaming shmups, and streaming my working habits, exsit as of now that 'might' work. Out of these two, what would you suggest I do? Or do you have perhaps another idea I could work on?

Kinda of a 'steampunk with music and apparently freakshow' event, My mother helped out last year, and this year going in her place. $15 to get in, and as I work doors from 9~10:30PM-ish, I assume that'll be the time allowed to get in. Obvious 21+ event, so ID is must.
If checking for me, just try calling me by 'lip-you-see-dee/lipucd'. =3
