Posted 10 years agoit turns out she is alive. she's in a hospital now, and they put her on prozac. she's taking a nap now, and she'll text me back again when she wakes up. gods, I need a nap, too. I'm exhausted. but I am so relieved. I can't even begin to tell you. this has been one hell of a morning.

I currently live with my parents, rent-free. so I am not asking for this for living expenses. but I do have prescriptons to refill that I have no cash for. I have loans to repay, for meds bought for me buy friends. I am seeking HRT and transition counceling.
but most importantly, I have a life-or-death situation on my hands.
my girlfriend is still currently stuck living with her abusive husband, in a community that is shaming and blaming her for everything from having liberal-leaning political views, to choosing to divorce her husband, to daring to think for herself, to supporting me in my transition, to supporting marriage equality, to being polyamorous, to not wanting to have sex with her husband. even things as petty as her dyeing her hair gets shit from people. it's ridiculous.
she recently tried to kill herself by hypothermia. she was brought inside before any damage was done, but ended up taking a couple days to stay at a friend's house. now she is back at her husband's place, but she is still in a suicidal state of mind, emotionally numb, and having a crisis of Faith. she is currently disconnecting from the world in an attempt to heal a bit, so I won't hear from her again until sunday. and I"m very worried.
she says she doesn't know if she can survive until christmas. she's broke, and lives in virginia. her husband has been basically keeping her hostage. what we need is about $200 USD for an AmTrack ticket, plus taxi fare and hotel rent for a night.

I had to spend my last 100 bucks on ordering a pickup-ready replacement at walmart. I have less than 20 bucks to my name. whee....

Last thought before falling asleep at night: depends on what I was doing before I finally passed out from exhaustion. I have insomnia, so I usually just do whatever until I wake up with missing memory.

Do you work or are you a student: depends. I'm either both, or I'm neither, I'm working but just bad at it. I am enrolled but currntly not registered for classes. and I'm self-employed but not making any money.
What do you do well: run RolePlaying Games such as D&D. also, debate. also, cook.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years: either homeless, broke, desperate, going in and out of the mental crisis stabilization unit; or running a pipe dream campaign for public office in a county or local election. we'll see how it goes.

Smoke: tobbaco or sheesha when I can afford it. but that's hardly ever anymore.
Do drugs: I avoid caffeine. I stopped taking painkillers because I used to have a substance abuse problem. I don't take any meds for my schizophrenia or depression or PTSD. I do like chocolate, though. I'm big on homeopathic remedies. it's true that there is a tea for almost any ailment.
Exercise: I walk almost everywhere, and I practice fencing. I try to keep up with Yoga and Tai Chi, but I tend to slack off. also, I don't have a Tai Chi instructor, so I'm just using an online guide I'm subscribed to. I wouldn't consider it actual training.
Have a go-to comfort food: french vanilla ice cream.
