Attending Tails and Tornados!
Posted 2 years agoI'm going to be at Tails and Tornados. I will be with my bestie. If you come up and say you're my greatest fan, I will awkwardly tell you, "oh, thanks, y-you too" and then run away out of the shear awkwardness I have created.
but it would be kind of cool knowing i have fans c:

So Twitter Could Die Soon
Posted 3 years agoSo, with Twitter going down the drain at an exponential rate, it occurred to me that I really don't have any other public social media besides Twitter and FA. I shut my Tumblr down a little while ago, and I pretty much only use Discord for my closest friends, so I guess until I find a good Mastodon instance that's open for registration, there's not a lot that I can do beside post my little musings in FA journals.
So I guess that means there will be more to follow. We shall see...
At this point, I almost wouldn't be surprised if this deal gets unwound or if the previous twitter engineers all get together to build a new twitter. I just don't know. I guess I'll have to be more productive or something :'P

Uploading new originals today [Plus originals here]
Posted 4 years agoToday is the day that I'm going to be uploading my new, re-digitized artwork for my more recent full-color pieces.
While some may have liked the paper texture in the previous versions, the real pieces really don't look like that under normal lighting conditions, and it caused a lot of color data to be lost (not to mention that the scanner was really poor at color reproduction in the first place.
For those of you who want the originals, you can find them HERE.
For everyone else who is interested, I encourage you to take another skim through my full-color work and see the differences (you might need to wait until tomorrow if you're reading this on the day that I'm making these changes)
Here's to a new, and better color-reproduction future!

New Digitization Workflow
Posted 4 years agoI finally took the leap and bought a Canon 90D and some soft-boxes to help me get better picture quality out of my artwork, and I can already say that it's going to work wonders!
It's not magic mind you, it still has its own idiosyncrasies, but at least I don't have to worry much about the color other than saturation and color temperature, which are both things I can do without much issue from my colorblindness.
Check out my tweet with the comparison!
Anyway, over the next few weeks (or months. It kind of depends on my schedule). I'm going to try and get most of my old work re-digitized and uploaded with new originals, so if you want the old copies for archiving or something like that, I highly recommend that you download them now because they will be replaced in a few weeks.
Cheers!

Fixed resolution of Drawtober art
Posted 4 years agoSo, I realized that the dark, murky backgrounds combined with the many other colors of my Drawtober drawings were substantially inflating the PNG file sizes of the pieces, and that's what was preventing me from uploading higher resolution images.
To work around this, I've re-uploaded them as highest quality JPEG images instead, and they were below the 10MB file limit. So if you want to see those pieces again in all the detail that they were drawn in, feel free to take a gander.
It's not really that big of a deal and generally you shouldn't see much more than some added crispness, but it's something I'll be keeping in mind from now on.

Getting things set up
Posted 5 years agoOver the next day or two, I'm going to be uploading my back-catalog of furry art, starting from Inktober 2018.
Sorry in advance to my handful of watchers, I hope that I don't flood your submissions lists too badly! :3
Edit 1: Finished uploading Inktober stuff. Got distracted watching a stream, but should be able to finish up the rest tomorrow.
Edit 2: FINALLY DONE!
