You normally make resolutions about yourself during the beginning of the year. Well, I've been doing a lot of thinking and now, which oddly happened to be on the 4th, I'm wanting to make some changes to my lifestyle.

This year alone has been a whirlwind for me. Looking for a career, finding love, losing love, taking personal stock in my friends and getting my own finances in order, its been like I'm slowly becoming the adult I want to be. Yet, up until now, one of the biggest things in my life I had every opportunity to control, I never made a change for and its been something that has affecting my self esteem and confidence for a long while.

I'm slowly realizing that I just don't want to be comfortable with just myself internally, but I also want to be comfortable with how I look on the outside as well.

I feel we each create our fursonas to manifest our ideal selves, who and what we'd like to be. But I've realized I'm just not happy with PRETENDING to be who my fursona is, I want to BE who my fursona is. I feel that everyone out there eventually would love their fursona and actual self to synchornize perfectly. To those who have done it, I applaud you for becoming what you have always truly wanted to be.

I've always wanted to go into bodybuilding, its been a big goal of mine to be happy and comfortable with how I look inside and out. Just seeing how much I have accomplished in life so far by working at it, has made me realize this goal isn't as far fetched as I had recently thought.

I'll be posting weekly updates on how I'm doing, and hopefully, find support in this community.

I don't even really know why I am even making a journal about this, I guess because every little bit of support helps I guess, and I feel like there are people I may not even talk to much that can offer come encouragement.

...But I'm asking my friends for help.

FWA is approaching and, at first I thought that it would be a bust because my mate  arumontwolf wouldnt be there. However, I recently came across a slight ray of hope. Greyhound Bus Tickets from Newark to Atlanta are about $158 if I purchase it in advance, 7 days prior. However, draining out of my available FWA reserves would mean little next to nothing left for food for both our mouths once we reach the hotel room ($124, or $62 a piece).

Naturally, if my mate could help me pay for part of the ticket, that would be great, however he also has to fork over cash for the cabfare to Newark (which is 1 hour away and passes at least 1 toll booth). So he needs to conserve his funds to aquire a transport to and from the bus station at Newark.

I dont like asking my friends for money, because I hate mooching off of others. But, if any of my friends would know, this guy means the world to me and I would give anything to have a weekend with him. I'd even be willing to work something out using my skills (I can sew, draw, whatever, I'll gladly be your bitch for this possible oppertunity.)

I'd appreciate any offers or advice that could help me out. I thank you all in advance to taking the time to read it as well as anyone who offers to help. Having him at FWA with me would be beyond joy!
