Law of the Jungle - Voice Actors Part Two
Posted 6 years agoOkay gang! Two more characters means two more voice actors!
June Hadley: Amber Gray. Easy. In her roles as Helene in "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812" and Persephone in "Hadestown" she has a voice like I've never heard, it's cheeky yet down to earth, old yet eccentric and a bit flirtatious. It makes double the amount of sense because she plays Persephone to Patrick Page's (remember, one of Silas' voices) Hades, and their relationship mirrors their's quite a bit.

Leslie Fallon: Roberta Colindrez, she's performed in musicals and podcasts I really love, she plays Joan in "Fun Home", and features in "Alice Isn't Dead" and "It Makes A Sound". I really wanted Leslie's voice to be unprecedented, this very low, kind of relaxed voice coming from such a tiny, skittish looking creature. She can sound very impartial and completely relaxed, like Leslie is in the face of everything.

Law of the Jungle - Voice Actors Part One
Posted 7 years agoSo here's who I have in mind for the voice cast of Law of the Jungle. Specifically, the previously drawn character set 1.
Matilda Kinney: Singing, Birdy. Speaking, Ashleigh Cummings (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries). So I love Ashleigh and her portrayal of Dot a lot and Birdy is one of my favourite musical acts. Ashleigh has this very quiet and sweet voice that tends to have its own brand of power that brings out Matilda's kind yet modest essence, and Birdy has a very fragile sort of beauty to it that's very raw and also has that brand of power.

Birdy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZXoiL89m_Q
Silas Halcyon: Patrick Page (Hadestown, Hunchback of Notre Dame), he has this really deep, sort of menacing yet sophisticated baritone voice that honestly rivals Tony Jay. My second option would be Charles Dance, because Silas is basically a nicer Tywin Lannister.

Aaaand here's Charles Dance reading 50 Shades of Grey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3POYx6IeeI
Angelette DeMarlo: Geraldine Page. She's Madame Medusa from The Rescuers, nuff said.
